I have been a customer with Nick for well over 6 years now and always had a feeling he was grossly over charging me but let it go because I have been short on time and honestly lazy and stopped servicing my own car, but after adding up the labour and price for parts I’ve been charged compared to the jobs his done and the true price of parts I knew he was ripping me off and after today he quoted me $720 to change plugs, oil and oil and air filter, I have had the parts priced up at $280 , I’ve done this job myself countless times and takes me only 1 hour, but with $720 all inclusive that means he is charging me almost 6 hours labour !!! Safe to say I’ll be servicing my own car from now on or finding a mechanic who won’t rip off loyal customers !!! Do not waste your money or your time on this rip off mechanic, loyalty means nothing to him. All he sees is dollar signs and any way he can to rip you off.

Got car got a full serviced on a Thursday and while driving to work on the next day Friday my car throw a belt. When I rang to ask if the belts were checked I was informed no as it’s not part of the service yet on the report it states that all belts were checked and in good order. After my Warrenty mechanic pulled my engine part it turned out that all belts were broken and now has cause major damage. When I informed Nicks Auto about this they basically told me if I don’t like it then take it to fair trading. He know that I don’t have the time or the money to do this and just told me “good luck” and hangs the phone up on me. I would never recommend this mechanic to anyone and would never go back again.

I gave Nick very little notice that I was potentially purchasing a used car from a dealership just up the road. I needed a professional to give it a thorough inspection and ultimately tell me if the car was worth my time or not. I can't thank Nick and his team enough, mainly due to the fact that they dropped everything and helped me right away. They were extremely thorough. Nick explained everything in detail and tested all the critical things necessary when purchasing a second hand car. All for a very reasonable price! It's a shame that I don't live close by because I think Nick would be my new mechanic!!

How anybody could possibly write a bad review about nick and his sons is beyond me they are such a lovely family and I would highly recommend them to anybody. They went above and beyond to help me get my car fixed up and safe for myself and my children to be driving in. I could never thank them enough ! If you want genuine people and great service then this is the place u should be going to! I will personally never take any car of mine anywhere else. Thank you so very much nick Andrew and Chris . I was calling around for a blue slip check and Nick was prompt and professional answering the phone and taking my details to call back when he was ready for me to drop the car off. He said his guy would be in about 10-10:30am and he would give me a call. He called just after 10am to say he was ready for me to come in. I had found a different inspection point a bit closer by then and he was very polite on the phone and understood completely. I will definitely be recommending people in the area to book in for their mechanical needs.

great to talk to Nick, understanding, helpful and the explanation of the job in details.i just got my car to Nick , repair the broken bolt on rocker cover (wrx) did a very good job. replace all the necessarily parts. met his son showed me same photos, how they did the job ( hope they send the photo(s) to me ). boys keep it up doing a great job. Phoned for the off-chance of seeking help, in trying to locate a Specialist Mechanic in the Gosford area. Nick took over himself, and went out-of-his-way to help me. He was absolutely brilliant! he is a rip off i payed for a subaru off him it had a coolant leak took it to a different mechanic to find out it had a blown head gasket called nick up and he seid it cant have a blown head it cost 6000 for the car and he seid it has 190k on it to find out it has 360k on it

Family run and totally trustworthy. I brought my car in for pink slip, they fixed a front headlight, rear plate light and degreased under the transmission for $111. Unbelievable! I read good things on facebook so had to try them. They are awesome.

I needed my pink slip done i ring up Nick and he told me they were close for the holiday. He ask me what i needed it so told him my pink slip.was due soon. I was greatfull he was able to it. He just came in just to do my pink slip.

I was charged over $400 to replace a thermostat. They also removed clips from my radiator and refused to put them back on, causing it to no longer be secure and rattling constantly!!! Absolute crooks!

Took the time to explain, wasn't at all condescending, polite and straight forward. Impressed considering what I and other women i know, usually have to put up from those working in this industry.
