Update 2/16/2023: After I posted my previous review seen below, Scott Normandin reached out and asked for a second chance for his service team. He mentioned that the price I found on the website for an oil change was incorrect, and that he would work to get it corrected. He also offered to change my oil for free, as well as diagnose the issue with my apple carplay. To my surprise, they got me in very quickly (within a few days). The team hooked me up with a rental car, fixed my apple car play, changed my oil and filters, rotated my tires, all for free. They also provided a timely update on when my car would be completed, and did all of this within a single day. I was much more impressed with their service this time around. I wish I didn't have to post such a negative review in the first place, but it was nice to see that Scott cares about his business enough to make it right. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About 7 months ago I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Normandin Jeep. It is a 2018 Cherokee with about 50k miles on it. It was dealer certified and they assured me that it was rated at the "highest level of certification" they perform. Their seller basically explained to me that they rank cars on a scale from A, B, C etc. and that this one was rated as an A. Within 6 weeks of buying the car I had to bring it in on 3-4 different occasions for issues. Actually, within 2 hours of leaving the dealership with the car I had a warning light on the dash. They had sold me the car with a dead main battery AND auxiliary battery. The auto stop/start function in the car did not work because of this. I had to bring it in to have both batteries replaced. It took them all day (around 9am to 5PM) and they didn't communicate with me well at all during the process. Then, my check engine light came on a week after that. They said it "needed a software update". How are you not checking these things BEFORE you sell me the car? Then yet again a few weeks after that, the display in my car starts doing it's own thing. Constantly jumping around on the navigation map and playing music by itself, etc. They replaced the screen but it's absolutely ridiculous that they sold a car in this condition. Now, about 7 months into owning the car I am having yet another issue with the entertainment display. I can't even say I am surprised anymore. My iphone used to work flawlessly with the car via apple carplay. Now the USB port in the entertainment display does not maintain a physical connection and regularly gives me an error message "device not supported." Really? The entertainment console that specifically supports APPLE carplay doesn't support my iphone? I don't think so. Also, just something to consider - I need an oil change soon. So today I logged into the Normandin website to check how much they want for an oil change. First of all I don't see an option to just get the oil change. The only package I see is an oil change, air filter change, and tire rotation. The price that they offer for this is $401.77. Absolutely ridiculous. After I get done paying off this absolute lemon that they sold me I will never shop at this dealership ever again. If you value your money and don't want to sink it in to a total PoS car, you should avoid this place.
Aim L below had the same problem with Jerry Aced, it took forever and we both had stolen property. I took my Chrysler to Normandin to get it diagnosed because it was over heating. I was told that it needed a new engine. I had the life time warranty on the drive-train so I told them to replace it and I rented a car so I could get to work. After 3 weeks I hadn't heard from them so I check in to see if it would be ready soon. I was told by Jerry Aced that nothing had been done yet because they needed my service records, although they never contacted me to ask for any records. I provided them with the records and was told that they sent them to Chrysler and were waiting for a response. I checked back a week later and Jerry said Steve Rodgers their Service Director was checking with Chrysler and they would contact me. they never contacted me so after a week I contacted them and nothing, contacted them again and still nothing. Finally after 5 weeks with nothing being done to my car they said Chrysler was sending out an inspector. After another week I was told someone from Chrysler would be contacting me or I could call Steve Rodgers. I called him and he said Chrysler offered me $2,000 to buy out my warranty, I declined because I had already spent that much in a car rental plus I had just spent over $3,000 dollars to keep it in perfect running order. I told him I wanted a new engine and please get started working on it. 2 more weeks passed and I checked in with Jerry and he said I had declined Chrysler's offer and that nothing had been done yet. I called Steve Rodgers wanting to know why nothing had been done yet and he had no explanation and said that they would contact Chrysler. Finally after 8 weeks they said they were going to order a new engine. It took them another 4 weeks before they finally had my car ready. When I picked it up the engine light was on, the car bumper was damaged, they charged me to replace parts that were replaced 2 months before bringing car to them, they didn't replace the splash guard that I had just spent $498 replacing, they swapped out a brand new battery for an old one and worse of all they stole all my valuables from the car. Not to mention that I spent $3,500 on a car rental because they took so long (12 weeks) to do their job. I would highly recommend NEVER to go there!!
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch service at Normandin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT, and I am beyond impressed with the outstanding customer service provided by Justin and the entire service staff. This dealership has been our go-to for nearly three decades, and once again, they have exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a swift check-in process that demonstrated the team's dedication to efficiency. Justin's professionalism and courtesy stood out, as he listened attentively to my concerns and assured me that my vehicle was in capable hands. What truly amazed me was the speed at which the service was completed. The staff promised me a certain time frame, and to my delight, they managed to finish the work even sooner. This level of efficiency is a testament to the dealership's commitment to respecting their customers' time. Upon receiving my vehicle, I was delighted to find it not only in perfect working condition but also immaculately clean. They had gone the extra mile to ensure that my car was washed and cleaned as I had requested. This attention to detail truly showcases their dedication to providing a holistic service experience. Having relied on Normandin for almost 30 years, I can confidently say that their consistency in delivering exceptional customer service is truly commendable. This is my 3rd Dodge Ram since 2006 to have serviced at Normadin. My original srrvice contact Reyes was AMAZING. Would always gove me updates. Communication is key. I had problems with pumping gas so they had to order the part. I wanted to schedule appointment immediately, they said had to wait until part came in. I said i would schedule few weeks out so i can make sure i have appointment, i was then told i wouldnt have to wait because special order. The second i got text that part was in i called and scheduled a 730am appointment. I dropped my truck off the night before to make sure there first thing in a.m. around 1130am i hadnt heard from anyone on whether truck had been checked in (Reyes used to do this). I called again at 1215. I called again at 130. No one called me back until 330pm to let me know they hadnt started my truck yet!!! Seriously, communication! If You had called me to let me know that this was the case first thing in the morning. I would have come by and picked my truck up and then dropped it off again that night. Now I'm just sitting here. Waiting on day 2 to hear from normaden If I will ever be able to pick my truck up. Just called to get update and was unformed my service advisor was on lunch and to call back. I said i have but her voicemail is not set up. Tim said he knew that. I said so i am just supposed to keep calling? He said yes. Totally unacceptable. Horrible customer service. I even emailed 3 times and have not gotten a response email. On day 2 they offered a rental car. On day four i got a text saying my part is in? Not sure what happened to original part, or did they need to order different part? Day four i was contacted by Anthony, he let me know truck would be done at end of the day, then called again to confirm. Can honestly say I appreciate Anthony's attention to detail and simple communication with consumer. Thank you Anthony
I bought my car at Normandin in March 2018 Brand New with 43 miles on it. My car started having problems in June 2020. My mechanic told me I had a broken water pump. My warranty was still valid so I called Normandin several times to make an appointment left voicemails never had my call returned so made an appointment online and despite what the sales people had told me they would roll out the red carpet when I needed my car fixed cause I bought it there it was two weeks to the next appointment so I called them the day before my appointment (2 weeks of no driving my car) To make sure they understood I’ve already had my car diagnosed and the part was back ordered per my mechanic so what are they going to do about this I haven’t had a car already for two weeks, they told me I should’ve called to make my appointment, haha which I had several times with no return call. They don’t check their appointments they just let you schedule them online and was told I was going to have to be rescheduled I freaked out so they rescheduled me just to an earlier time the next day but it took 40 days to repair my car (54 if you include the time I didn’t have a rental). I just got my car back two days ago and the problem still hasn’t fixed my temperature gauge keeps spiking like my engine is about to overheat. I’m so disappointed in the service. Don’t fall for their promises when buying a new car with their platinum extended warranty. Your time is not important to them they think that their time is more important and they are super busy they don’t understand you are super busy too. I bought a brand new car because I don’t have time to have it in the shop. Maybe Jeeps are just bad vehicles. Now it’s the weekend and their service department isn’t open until Monday. I should’ve bought a Toyota Toyota’s service department is open all weekend.
This is a review for the Auto Service Department. If you need work done on your car, I encourage everyone to do research on the part your car needs. There is a huge back order on Jeep auto parts and this location seems to not have a huge inventory. You will wait for literally months on end for the part you need (my advisor told me there was a car in their lot for 10 months just waiting). I ended up leaving my car at this dealership for about two months (ridiculous) because it was waiting for an engine part. After weeks and weeks of waiting, and after countless texts asking for updates, It felt like nothing was progressing so I ended up calling other auto shops around my area for service and was able to have my car back driving within two days. My issue with this dealership is the lack of communication & empathy from the advisors helping customers with their car service. They don’t care. My advisor would only occasionally respond to my texts whenever I asked for updates. Mind you, this is my daily commuter car so of course I’m going to be worried with how long it takes. But he only responded to my texts once, when I asked him several times for updates. The lack of communication showed how much customers mean to them. The Customer-Care hotline isn’t much of help either. I made a case # with the customer care team to expedite my car part, but they weren’t able to help. Literally all of their car parts are backed up and not in inventory. SAVE YOURSELF AND DO RESEARCH. Ask mechanics around your area if they can help service you. In the end, my car was parked at this dealership for two months and had no work done on it. I towed my car elsewhere and my car was fixed in no time.
I bought my Chrysler back in 2008(at Stevens creek Chrysler) Normandin Chrysler has been closer to where I live there for I frequented it for all my maintenance and more advanced mechanical issues- I normally work on my car myself. I just feel like my review of this place is overdue. From the moment I call and I’m asked where should they direct my call, to when I actually shows up for the service. My experience was not enjoyable. 8 out of 10 I dealt with a non friendly, not polite, not patient, rude person, I don’t recall the sell advisers names but for the most part they gave off a sense of superiority as if things are only done their way because the customer, in this case my self, doesn't know best. Many times I felt like they would up-sell me and what can you do? You need your car out of there, right? So you end up paying what they ask for. If I kept going detailing my every visit I’ll be writing for a while, I do have to say my best interactions where with some of the actual mechanics and some young people in the parts desk, or the very nice old man handing out a paper when you pull up for service. My main reason for writing this review is that, I though I was done dealing with this dealership but I’m not. My mechanic advice me to bring the car in because there is a part that was recall and replace but is now malfunctioning, plus they would need to program the keys. My last visit was maybe 2 years ago but I’m now getting a headache and anxiety thinking I have to bring my car in next Wednesday. I hope they have new staff or they have provided better training.
I had to have my car towed in because of it overheating and leaking coolant. They kept my car for a total of 2 days counting the day it got towed in. I was told they couldn't figure out what was wrong and get the error to come up. They added that they were going to hold on to it and update me the next day. I was told it needs a new radiator cap and that the thermostat and housing would soon need to be replaced or fixed. One costing $15 the other costing over $1000. Not only was it upsetting as I had the issue happen while on a delivery for work but I was also talked down to like a helpless child that didn't know any better multiple times. I had the cap replaced and picked up my car two hours later. While on the way home my car started to overheat again. It was more frustrating since I had gone a total of 6 days without driving my car to work and having to use a different car. I had called my parents and my father being an ASE certified master technician was not happy or amused with the situation. He drove 4 hours to look at my car and in just under 2 hours fixed the problem that would have cost $1000. I paid $200 for him to fix it which was the cost of parts. After my experience I can fairly say I won't be returning to the dealership to have it serviced or to purchase a car. I had asked all the right questions and was rudely ignored and treated poorly. I will never forget how this dealership treated me.
I located a vehicle online at this location that I wanted to purchase. I called and asked they hold it while I drove the 2 ½ hours to their location. I further advised them that I would be paying in full, partially with cash and the remainder on my ATM card, to which they agreed. Once I arrived and sat down to complete the purchase, they asked for my I.D. I noticed the salesman had started filling out a credit application in my name. I reminded them they did not need to do a credit application as I was paying for the vehicle outright and I did not feel the need to provide my info. I was then advised by the sales manager, Ronnie Normandin no less, that he could not accept a card swipe for over 3k even after they were informed of my intentions before I made the long drive. I argued stating I had done this twice in the last year for even higher priced vehicles. Again, they refused telling me I should come back with a cashiers check. I informed them that I use a small community bank and and was not driving back home 2 ½ hours to get a check so I could turn around and repeat the drive. Unfortunately, Mr Normandin's unwillingness to pay any fees that may be associated with a large ATM purchase cost me an entire day of work and 6 hours of wasted driving. Don't waste your time... shop elsewhere.
Summary: Grossly overcharged me for a minor repair; poor customer service. I brought in my newish van (13,800 miles, under warranty) in May of 2021 because the hatch wasn't latching properly. The van has a wheelchair conversion with a manually operated rear ramp; they said the ramp was the problem and charged me 1.5 hours of labor ($360) to tighten some bolts. When I called to inquire about what they did that required that much labor, the mechanic -- Dan Ranalli -- was never available. I left three or four messages over a period of two months, but Dan never returned my calls. Once I asked to speak with a manager, and a woman got on the phone and said she would walk my message over to the manager's office and he would get back to me later that day. No one ever called back. I called the dealer that sold me the van back East and found out the wheelchair conversion has a warranty, but it will only cover 15 minutes of labor, because that's the amount of time that the repair should take. They told me, "you were ripped off." Normandin probably knows it and that's why they're not returning my calls. So I definitely do NOT recommend this dealer for vehicle repairs, due to their price gouging and terrible (non-existent?) customer service. Take your car elsewhere.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced happened when I called to have a factory defect repaired and the secretary hung up on me three times. Anthony, her manager, later said she was fired later when I talked with him about another problem—my van with 20,000 miles that was dead in the driveway. He immediately mentioned that I was out of warrantee and would have to pay for it, as did the secretary. Anthony informed me that the tow and the $250 diagnostic fee would be on me. And it wasn’t until I asked about who would pay for the fee to fix it that he informed me that that would be on me too. He said that was because they wouldn’t get paid to do the work, but of course they got paid commission to sell me the defective car. All of that happened without him even acknowledging that he was going to help me with my situation with a defective car that they sold me. It wasn’t until I talked about how unfair the situation was that he said that I could file a goodwill claim with the Chrysler corporation. When I mentioned that this kind of treatment is probably why they only have 3.5 stars, he took it personally and hung up, just like the employee that he mentioned was previously fired. Terrible dealership. Go to the other Chrysler dealership in town.
Traded in my vehicle for a Jeep. They said the trade-in was worth $1,500 and that they wouldn't be able to sell it for more than $3,500. Then they listed it for sale over $13 grand. Don't trade your car in at this dealership. They lost one of the key fobs for my jeep and promised to mail a replacement to me within a week of purchasing. Now, the sales department ghosts me and when I inquire about the replacement and I still have just one fob when I'm owed two. It has been more than a month. The brand new jeep has a defect on the driver's door. They said they would buy a part and habe it fixed in about a week. We're now on week 3 and no follow-up from the service department. I do not recommend doing business with this dealership and I will not do business with them ever again and that is a shame because I am planning on sticking with the Jeep brand for many years to come. I'll go elsewhere, but I want the issues above with the key and the door resolved ASAP, Normandin. And to counter this cookie cutter response below, I will not call. How about you call me? I have several unanswered emails sent to your managers. They ignore them. I won't be doing business via phone where things are just verbal. Next stop is to report you to the usual agencies.
The service department was not professional. Our van had a recall and we were told they did not have all the parts so we made a later appointment for another dealership just to get as much done and have a safer vehicle for our family. We had a few problems that seemed to be connected. We mentioned it to them and they said they had to do a diagnostic for each part, which would have cost us $500. I spoke to a second dealership, the one on Steven's Creek, and they said it could probably be fixed by disconnecting the battery. We did not pay the $500 and it was the battery. Thank goodness we didn't pay. Anyway, I brought the van in for the recall at another dealership for the part this dealership told us they didn't have. The Steven's Creek dealership contacted us and told us everything had been done. The Normandin dealership did the recalls, had the parts and did not tell me. This has been very frustrating and I don't have a car for today. I would go to another dealership if you need any services done, or find a mechanic. This place does not communicate well with costumers and would rather you pay more than be honest about what cheaper, easier options exist to fix your vehicle.
Only a meh rating as it took them one hour to check me in. Service was performed but the dead tail light which I forgot to mention was not changed. Had they checked the dash they would have seen that it warns about the dead bulb. Checkout person was also rather unfriendly but it was the end of the day. On the plus side the building and facilities are in excellent shape. Very clean and well decorated. If you have to wait it is at least pleasant. Update: (moving this review from 3 stars up to 5 after second service) I today had another engagement with Normandin and this time things went very smooth. The service rep was present and checked my car in very quickly. The service (program a spare key) got done very quickly and Normandin was actually the cheapest service in the area to do this. I ordered the blank key through Normandin and a service rep programmed it to my car which is necessary for a Fiat 500e. Total cost was under $300 which is more than $100 cheaper than other offers I got from various lock smiths. Service got done in under an hour and a pending recall was taken care of as well during this time. Very happy this time around. Thanks for the service!
I've called 4 times to get an status update on my car they are working on. I was told would take a couple of days last wednesday. Maybe a couple doesn't meant 2 days? Maybe 15hrs of Labor doesn't translate to 2 days now? I don't know, I've left two messages for call back and never received one. I've had to take my car to this place 3 times over the last 5 years and its been this way each time. This is the last time I will bother with this service center. How hard is it to give a status update to your customers when they just want an actual ETA on their car repairs? You understand most of work and have to make arrangements to miss work to pick up and drop off our vehicles wait etc..? I've literally ran a customer service department for a small company consisting of 3 people for 15 years and we respond within 1 hour of being called or e-mails with over 200 active customers and you guys can't return the phone call of what maybe 50 people in an 8hr day?
I wish i could give -1 start to this dealership. Went to buy a car, found a car and made an offer of $1000 below asking price but they did not accepted my offer and made me a counter offer of $500 below asking price. I said let me think about it. Next day I went back to the dealership and offered to buy the car at their stated price of $500 below their asking price. The sales person was very happy to help me and took my offer to management and after 20 minutes of wait the management refused to honor their stated price..... What a dishonest management .... I asked to meet the manager so i can ask him why my money is no good for him today but the manager refuse to see me... I wrote an email to the president of the company telling him how his family run business has no honor but no reply from him either... I end up buying a car from more caring dealership... I would stay away from so called family owned stealer-ship.....
- 1000 stars. After everything was said and done…. They vandalized my ‘17 Ram 6.7. Had my truck for +16 weeks. so I had my 6.7 Ram towed elsewhere. The service manager STEVE told B.A.R. when they showed to investigate “the owner had it towed out of here bc it was more convenient”. They would not follow up with me. They cut a piece of the steering linkage (drag link) and let me sign and take vehicle from them. They released an unsafe vehicle to me TWICE. Not sure what this entire ASE certified “technician” means either. FCA promised reimbursement for rental as well. Now they’re refusing. Over 6k in receipts. Steve must’ve been a vacuum salesman before this position. EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT - BEWARE! (as one can tell by most of the reviews) —————- I will need a contact name and number. Cannot get through to anyone worth talking to. I’m sure Mark and Paul Normandin do not appreciate any more negative attention.
Waste of time and money! My Grand Caravan after 60k miles, the transmission has an issue that while driving on the freeway sometimes the gear is dropped. I made an appointment with a technician named Mark after 2 weeks, when I brought the car in he said he would call me back. After more than 6 hours, he called and said that the transmission needed to be replaced which cost more than 6,400$. I disagree instead the amount is too much for an old car. He told me that I had to come back the next day to pick up the car and pay $230 for the fee to find the transmission needs to be replaced LOL. After several calls to the office, I finally got the car and paid $230. I took the car to an auto repair shop, they just replaced the EPC Senso-Trans Variable Force Motor Solenoid for $20 plus labor. Very simple!!!! Never come back again.
If you want to leave your vehicle forever, go here. The RAM service writer Erica is the WORST communicator possible on earth. She's deceptive, lazy and not very professional. She doesn't keep you up to date or provide a reasonable response, you will get ghosted and he without your vehicle for standard stuff with excuse after excuse from Erica. I truly believe because she's attractive to some people, they trust her. It's a really bad experience overall coming from a car guy with really reasonable expectations. I won't be buying another Ram from this dealership or going to their service because of Erica. It's a shame because the Normandin family has a good reputation overall and my buying experience was good. But ALL service through Erica was a complete disaster each time. Her manager for escalation was no better.
What a pleasant experience! I’m one of those people who has always hated the process of purchasing a new/used vehicle. My wife and myself visited three car dealerships before making our way to Normandin. Fortunately we immediately “hooked up” with Richard in sales. Richard was a breath of fresh air compared to other salesman at other dealerships and what I have experience in the past. Richard took our requirements and identified multiple candidates. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional with excellent friendly communication skills. His expertise led us to the perfect vehicle that met all of our challenging parameters. Total thumbs up to Richard (and the entire Normandin staff we dealt with) for an enjoyable car buying experience. Tom and Cheryl
Sadly name and reputation don't mean a thing anymore. After being in an accident (not our fault) we brought the vehicle here for the repairs. Omg if they didn't fix the issues but the made more problems from multiple items not lining up correctly, spilled paint on plastic, camera, battery, ect. Which were not damaged in the accident! 3x the vehicle was there( 6 months) BRAND NEW Vehicle. No pride i the work done at all, my husband is a mechanic himself and would NEVER ALLOW work like that to leave his hands. Truly sad. Reputation does NOT mean anything here unfortunately. I do NOT recommend taking your vehicle here. The vehicle still has issues and needs to be repaired. Shall I forward you that bill? After all it is your fault.
Second time here (in fact, I am still here as I write this). 5 hours for an oil change and a flat tire. I was one of the first people in at 8am and promised 2 hours. Now the car is done and I’m waiting 20? 30? Minutes for? I don’t know. My paperwork? Great. Also, went to the sales people to try and test drive a different car while I waited (my lease is up soon). They claimed to have 4 different vehicles of the type I wanted on the lot. One after another, we walked around with a key only to discover that all of them were off site. Poor time management, poor inventory tracking, non-existent communication with the client. But hey, they’re the only Jeep dealer around until Fremont, so I’ll be forced to come back. Good times!
I dropped off my Jeep 3 weeks ago…and the repair/ service department has been terrible at communicating with me throughout the last 3 weeks. When I do call I get sent to hold on the phone with no answer. In addition, sometimes individuals sound annoyed that I’m calling to ask about the status of my vehicle. It’s still in the shop…and apparently someone broke into their lot and went through my Jeep…why wasn’t it locked- they have my keys. I just want to know what’s wrong, what’s been done, and when I’ll get my Jeep back. I also request a car rental. Or reimbursement for all the rental vehicles I’ve had to pay for in the last 3 weeks…at a bare minimum. I never ask for a lot but a little communication goes a long way.
If I could rate a 0 I would. I was working with one of the sales associates on a vehicle I wanted to buy. I had inquired a few days prior and wanted to purchase. In between work and me trying to send a check and then baking able to wire or bring the rest the next day od business, finish paperwork and leave with my new car. They sold it. After I had already sent a check in. I had to contact my bank. But how fraudulent and rude. I had the worst customer service experience and as a woman who already gets mans planed half the time at dealerships they took the cake of chauvinistic a holes. I don't recommend giving them the time of day unless you want to feel taken advantaged of and tossed aside. What a shame.
Dropped my car off, advisor checked it in. Had a issue with my ac system not blowing cold. Authorized testing on the system. Didnt haggle over it when i know inflation hurts everyone. I get it. But to wait all day until closing to hear that because of a aftermarket component which is very similar to that on a redeye or demon would inhibit the tech to go any further? I mean they could of charged the system and checked for leaks or inspected the components. I would of paid for their time. The customer shouldnt wait until the end of the day to hear that. Especially since dodge has stepped into modifications on all of their platforms.i know why this place has 3.5 stars. Well youll get 1 from me.
Their parts last less than it takes to replace them Had Stop safety error with battery light on. Paid 15 hundreds for service and it took 4 days. In 4 days after service (less then 100 miles) have the same error, unbelievable Thanks to Mark they took care about car. They did alternator reset? Will see if I get this problem again But anyway I had to return second time to service Nothing was done according to service report. They were not able to reproduce and error UPD. Problem appeared again! Based on my experience it looks like service doesn’t know what they do Attached photos showing a problem. First was made before service two other after UPD: problem was solved after third visit
Brought my vehicle in unscheduled because it wouldn’t start and check engine light was on. I was aware it may take a couple of days to get looked at but I wasn’t prepared for 6 days. There was poor communication about the status and update on my vehicle so I went to the dealership to speak to someone in person. After 6 days, I picked it up and my invoice charged me for 1.87 hours and a new battery. Was told the check engine lights have been cleared because it was related to my battery. Got home, engine light came back on, called the manager, said he would look into it and haven’t heard back. Tried calling again today and had to leave a message. Totally unsatisfied and disappointed.
This dealer does not mark their word. I took my truck for an appraisal. Scott helped me out with it and handed me an offer. The next day I called to schedule an appointment and they couldn’t attend me because there wasn’t any managers on site to start the process. What kind of dealer doesn’t have a manager on site to do these processes? The following day I called to schedule an appointment with Scott, Mario replied to me and said they couldn’t purchase my truck after speaking with managers even though Scott being a manager himself handed me an offer in paper. Horrible service. I’m not surprised this dealership has the reviews they have. Don’t waste your time coming here.
I posted my car for sale. Received various emails from Mario Botelo saying they were “very interested” “would love to buy my car” “consider your vehicle sold”. I replied saying I’d stop by when I get a chance AND I also had others interested. When I showed up Mario asked what others had offered and I told him that didn’t matter and I was there to know what they offer. He quickly changed his demeanor and said I’d have to wait for his manager to be there. Then why would he ask if I had to wait for his manager?? You’re in the business of buying and selling cars. Your should be prepared and if management is required — then maybe you should say that before someone shows up.
Had a great experience with the Normandin Dealership. Sukhi Sandhu was our Salesman and he was great to work with. We traded in our 2008 Suburban and purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We felt that both our trade in value and the price of the vehicle we purchased were fair and everything was handled professionally. Mr. Sandhu was great to talk with, very informative, and extremely low pressure. Our visit and transaction went very smoothly and working with Finance was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend doing business with the Normandin Dealership, it has a great history of Family Ownership and they were a pleasure to do business with.
Worst dealership service that I’ve ever had. They sent me a text asking me for glowing review without ever calling me to see if I was satisfied. This is what I replied to them and never heard back: You must be kidding! After the horribly expensive service, rude service advisor who was totally not helpful with zero product knowledge, and terrible product quality, you have the nerve to ask for a positive review. No one from the dealership bothered to call to ask how the service went. You guys are the worst, and that's the feedback that I already gave. You couldn't even beat the timing of the survey from the manufacturer. You deserve to be out of business.
Normandin had the best price for a new car we were shopping around for, but we were about 6 hours away. Our salesman Chris worked with us on our deal for a few days before we ultimately decided to make the trip from Southern California. Once we got there it was quick and easy process finalizing paperwork, there were no hidden surprises or fees, and we happily drove away in a brand new Cherokee. There was nothing slimy about this dealership, everyone we dealt with was was honest, friendly, and accommodating (thanks for keeping our coffee cups full!) from Chris our salesman to Harry the finance guy! We will absolutely be returning to do more business.
Terrible service I dropped my charger off to get re-programmed after a failed theft attempt and now my car horn doesn’t work which is a big safety issue and when I called and asked them about it I basically got pushed off as if the horn didn’t work prior to dropping off the car but I have a video literally the day I dropped it off showing the horn working and if I drop the car off now I will have to pay full price for something they messed up smh ….. the only reason I even went to this dodge is because Stoneridge location is crazy busy and this one not so much but I guess I see why hence some of the other negative reviews on this dealer
I know that fixing a car or a van at the dealer is expensive but they are supposed to be honest and focused on the problem. Those guys are not honest and incompetent, they use their technical knowledge to make more money even if they have to break existing functional part. It is a a machinery that sets you up for more visits to make more money. They are dishonest and can not to be trusted with you vehicle. I would not even change the oil at this dealership. The maximum time the repair lasted is one week. When your bring your vehicle the second time they will always find something else. I gave them one star for a lack of zero rating.
Decided to give these guys a try since they were closest dealership to my home. Should have listened to the reviews on Yelp. Horrible experience with the Service Dept. Car was in shop for like 10 days with no updates. Had to drive to the dealership twice to get a response since it's nearly impossible to get a hold of an advisor to find out what's going on. No offer of a rental car even though I have Mopar Max Care Extended Warranty which I was entitled to. Warranty safety concern was not really addressed as still have the same issue with car stalling for no reason. Now have to deal directly FCA. Will not come back for any repairs.
Business owners! BEWARE! I had my service van at Normadin Chrystler for over 3 weeks. Despite leaving numerous voicemails for Erica, I later found out she was on vacation and no one took over her responsibilities. After playing phone tag with the service director, I finally spoke to someone who informed me that my van had been picked up (it hadn’t). However, when I asked when it was done, no one could provide an answer. It seems that my van has been sitting in their lot completed, but I cannot confirm this. We’re a small business with a large fleet and I’ll do everything I can to avoid this service center at all costs.
Really bizarre sales. I visited them to look at a car, left my contact info with the sales person because my time was limited. Expected some sort of call back... Never did. Then after few days i left them messages through their website. Zero. Lastly I called them and the person transferred me to sales, 4 minutes of waiting... got disconnected. In the meantime, i was able exchange many emails, texts and call with 3 other dealers in bay area, OR and NV within 1 hour after my first emails to them. Do they work at Normandin? Looks like a bunch of unmotivated and bored sales people. My first ever 1 star review.
I was lucky enough to have Kevin as a salesman at Normandin and ended up purchasing a new vehicle from him. Kevin was very attentive and showed me several vehicles. He walked me through the process and helped find the best deal he could. I cannot speak highly enough of him and the work he did. He truly went above and beyond what was required and has kept in touch since the deal was complete. There were a couple of matters that could have been better (none involving the salesman), but they were addressed promptly by management. Should you visit Normandin, seek out Kevin. He'll treat you well.
Very polite salesman 'Mark' showed us several cars for my daughter. He let us check out car interiors without standing over our shoulder. When we had questions he was available, and when we wanted to roam ourselves we felt no pressure. The prices where current on the site to match what we looked at on the lot. Much more comfortable than the places that follow you around. AN UPDATE: We just came back and worked with Scott, same professional hands-off approach, in the used car area. After a few test drives, answering all of our questions, we purchased our 4th car from Normandin. 2 Thumbs up.
Terrible Service Center. I have brought my truck there 3 times to fix the trim around my window that keep bubbling off. Every time it was not fixed, or the fix lasted a week and then was bad again. I finally gave up on this. Now I have to go back to them for a warranty issue I schedule an appointment. 2 days before the appointment the call me and tell me they have to reschedule my appointment to 3 week after the original. Now I cant drive my truck for 3 more weeks, and they said they don't offer loaner cars, and will not reimburse me for a rental car. The customer service here is awful!!!
My service experience was fantastic. Came in for a clicking noise stemming from my front left wheel well, and from the beginning, my service advisor, Mark, was very helpful and kind and always kept me informed as to what was going on, and the tech took the extra time to really try and diagnose the problem correctly, because I’ve had this same problem occur before, and other jeep dealerships in the area did an absolutely horrible job servicing it. Overall, super impressed with my experience, and a complete night versus day experience as compared to the other jeep dealership in the area.
Brought my 2021 Dodge Charger Scatpack for oil change & to check a weird sound on the exaust valves, oil change was done BUT the sound wich i had comment the "Service Advisor" still there and he said is a normal sound nothing wrong with it...i remember buying the car brand new n never heard that squeaking sound wich it is a factory deffect according to all the videos n comments on Youtube by people with the same vehicle...its been doing it for the past week, didnt want to argue with the service advisor because it was obvious he didnt care,i guess i had bad luck today.
Brought my suv in 3 times for a check engine light that kept coming back on after I was told it was fixed. The last time the service advisor called to ask me if the mechanic can drive my vehicle home and keep overnight to see if the light would come back on. I approved. Little did I know when I got my vehicle back it was driven 91 miles. It was never communicated my vehicle would be out for a joy ride driven almost 100 miles. The suv was on a empty tank when i got it. With gas over $6 a gallon. I will never do business at this dodge dealership again.
If you love sitting on hold (talking 30+ minutes) every time you call in and drastically overpaying for service....this is your spot! Awful service and when you step inside you'll realize just why. A bunch of people not doing much of anything. Useless. Literally decided to travel down to the new Morgan Hill Jeep dealership rather than deal with this spot and it's night and day. Brand new dealership, amazing service, and they actually helped me get the part rather than place me on hold forever just to say, "oh well, it's out of stock." Again, useless.
I bought a 2015 Jeep Renegade, I love my car but not this service center. I can't speak for the other brand service centers but the guy, who has been in charge/contact person of jeep service is non existent. I live ten minutes away so this should be my service center, but I never get a response or input. If I have an issue with my car or work that needs to be done I take it to Jeep on Steven's creek. Great response, great service, great customer care. I've given Normandy plenty of chances and have even had work there but wouldn't recommend it.
Service has been great here. I brought my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a malfunctioning turn signal. I worked with Jason as my service manager. The shop examined the problem and it looked like a part failed before it should have. He worked with his management to effect a repair and replacement for a more than reasonable cost to me. I know there was plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the situation and I am grateful for the integrity and professionalism Jason and the dealership displayed. I would strongly recommend this stellar team.
I purchased a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid from this dealer. Vehicle is great. The service department is terrible. More than 4 days to perform a 2 day service, I don't get updates from the service rep. They keep changing the service rep without telling me. They don't return calls. Dear dealer, get a clue, I am not going to purchase another vehicle from you because of the terrible performance of your service department. I have used the service department of the Toyota dealer across the street for the past 20 years and they are fantastic.
Great customer service Brought my car in for service yesterday. Since I have not drive my car that much for the past 2 years due to COVID, I'm not sure what needs to be done, or if any at all. Dave explained to me in details what is/is not needed. I also have a minor fix needs to be done, and the system here shows exactly what was done before as well as what service coverage/contract I have. Dave was able to take care of it without I have to remind him of anything. Worry-free is the best feeling one can have for the service here.
The service at jeep is god awful. We have been waiting for a warranty check for totaled vehicle for over three months. They continue to say the check is in the mail and on its way into Waze 30 to 45 business days before we can get an update or restart the process of sending the check again. Everybody acts like it’s out of their control and their managers and administration also are unable to assist. Caution, caution, caution, do not purchase or get your vehicles maintenance at this location. They will run you around in circles.
JEEP Service - the whole service experience was great. I was a bit worried about getting our JEEP serviced here due to the past reviews, but seeing that some were really old decided to take a chance. I am really glad we went here, the service was excellent. I would like to acknowledge Tim who scheduled and kept us updated about our service schedule and the excellent service advisor, Justin, who went was over the whole details, was very helpful and courteous. Would recommend this place to my fellow JEEP people.
Absolutely the worst experience you could possibly imagine buying a car. They have no care gor the customer or contract. A "Family" operated business? Thats a joke. They care only about themselves. If you go to buy a car and are mid contract with money on the way They can and WILL sell your vehicle to someone else. If you're in the military or a first responder, they won't work with you or do anything to assist your schedule. A big go F-yourself is the best They can do. Not a single bit of morale standing.
I was fortunate enough to deal with George in the auto body shop after my 2015 Rubicon was transferred there by the Allstate body shop because they weren't able to fix my Jeep. George and his team really treated fixing my Rubicon as a labor of love and gave it back to me looking and driving as good as new, with a lifetime warranty for their work. Needless to say, these guys are superstars, after having replaced my frame and putting everything back with all original parts! Before and after pix below
I came up from Southern California to buy a specific used vehicle on their lot - Chris in sales was very responsive, personable, and walked me through their safety and quality inspections. I had a safety concern after my purchase and he connected me to the lead technician for questions. In the mail a month later, I got a check refund from my purchase to equal out the registration fee they overshot. I'm 1000 miles in and loving my car. Would absolutely recommend the sales dept, especially Chris!
service is so bad here. i bought a car back in 2018 NEW and is super defective. car was bought WITH warranty and they want to charge me for things they don’t even fix because i have to go back for the same thing. and in top of that, when you call theres is a lady with the rudest attitude who directs your calls and none of the people ever answer or get back to you. the service that YOU have to pay for and still get treated like this?? invest in better employees that treat the customers better.
My truck has been there for a month for warranty work and still don't have it back. communication from service is terrible. Not happy with fiat Chrysler's handling of this situation either. Stay away from Chrysler products. Edit: called said truck was ready 12/6/18 32 days after dropping off truck arrived a little after 4pm and inner fenderwell was still out from them working on it and transmission fluid was very low on dipstick. They can't even read a dipstick and worked on my transmission.
Do not go to this dealership! they don't care about you your time or do they know anything about what they can work on. I made an appointment for my ProMaster chassis RV which they said they could work on on the appointment. I brought it in and checked it in with Erica who reassured me they could work on it. After I left 2 hours later they called me and said they can't work on it anymore. Wasting half of my day and pay lost from my job. Worst experience I've ever had with the dealership.
Horrible customer service. Service department failed 4 times on fixing a water leak. Purchased a new jeep in 2022 / 200 mi and ended up going Lemon Law. Bad Management department and didnt even try to get me in another vehicle after lemon law went threw… Tried contacting Ronnie Sales Manager and was very rude and unprofessional. Didnt try to get his sales team to try and get me or find me another jeep. Contacted him 4 times asking for help on a new purchase.. Just Stay Away..
Dropped of my car for an oil change and some warranty work. Service guy called me back and said car is not under warranty. He said that he would be sending me an invoice that day and he never did. Next day I had to call him. He eventually sent the invoice. Invoice was very amateur, no part numbers and not even on the company letter head. Service guy never really explained to me the issue with the car and just wanted to know if I wanted the work done. Will never go back.
I had a very good experience at Normandin. Contacted Chris at internet sales and got all the answers I needed, and he was super quick at responding to all my queries, before coming in for a test drive. They were never pushy but just super helpful. They also gave me a great deal on my trade-in which saved me time and hassle. The transaction was really smooth, and I couldn't have been better treated. I also am super happy with the new car. Highly recommended.
I called to schedule an appointment for my dad's car for a recall he had on his Dodge Journey. I had thought we would be leaving it for a day or two but I was surprised to know that it would only take an hour and a half. I kind of regret not waiting because it actually was ready in less time than predicted. It was a smooth and fast appointment. As I went in to sign some papers and grab the key I noticed they had a very nice and cozy waiting room.
Great selection and staff in the sales department. We got our Pacifica Hybrid from them and they stayed late to get everything worked out. Better than that, though, is the service department. They went out of their way to make sure I could get warranty service performed on it when the wiper washer pump died, and the service technicians really know their stuff, as repair was performed in about an hour. Awesome. Highly recommended. :-)
Absolute worst service department anywhere! Twice now they kept my car overnight without calling me to say so as they promised, leaving me to scramble for transportation to my business. Twice also they attempted to charge me for service and repairs that were covered by my warranties, saying that they were allowing me an exception when I had already paid for extra coverage when I bought the Jeep. Avoid this place if you can! Awful.
Great dealership. Amazing customer service. No hassles. Purchased my car in a hurry and overlooked a few problems. I don't drive often and I didn't find them for weeks. I called and spoke with Scott Normandin and he made sure everything got fixed free of charge as it was a CPO vehicle. Scott is an amazing employee and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would purchase a car from them again.
Paid for Extended Warranty on our New Grand Cherokee. The Service Department has been a nightmare to deal with. Most recently, our Water Pump was replaced under Warranty and then started leaking within a year. Tried many times calling and left voicemails since I'm no longer local. They don't answer the phone and have not responded! Paid a local Mechanic instead, but feel taken by Normandin's shady tactics after the Sale.
Poor, disrespectful place. I was told to call 45 minutes in advance to buy a car. I wanted to know the status of the car. Then they said the car is available to come and have a look at it. When I got there they made me wait and then they said the car was in service. I called 45 minutes ago and you said it was available. I came all this way, you say the car is not here. You need to stop this job immediately.
Worst experience at this dealer shop when I went in to go fix my car, they made me buy a whole as new cheap suspension when all I needed was clamps. I took it in one month ago and literally back to square one. I asked what they could do since it's only been one month and they told me take it where you got it from, we can't do anything. I agree on that they can't do anything right. Would not go back again.
Showed up with my 2021 ram still under warranty. My truck won't start and they say to come back next week. I'm Literally outside and no one wants to help me. Something that takes 1 minute. At least to give me a jump but they say they don't have time. So now I'm stuck here. I go to parts but they want me to pay 300 for the battery because I don't have a scheduled appointment. Never buying a ram again.
I bought a car from Enterprise a few months back and had complications early on. I took my car to Normandin and Dan was my service tech. I had a difficult time with enterprise and my warranty. But the one person who was consistent and going out of his way for me was Dan! Huge thank you to Dan for your help and communication with me during that time. You are a valuable asset to Normandin!
i had to bring in my NEW Jeep Grand Cherokee L for a Battery issue and they were fantastic...gave me an appointment but said i could bring in earlier and they would try to get to it and did. Very professional and were great about giving me updates. Jason was who i worked with and he was GREAT. The only issue i have is this review system wouldn't let me use my person Gmail account....
Scott Normandin was the most straightforward and easy to deal with person I've dealt with at a dealership. He gave me a fair price for the truck I sold, didn't play any games, and was extremely prompt + professional. It was a nice change of pace to not get the runaround that I have from other dealerships when trying to buy or sell. I'd do business with him again in a heartbeat!
I have taken my car here multiple times and had a great experience each time. It was easy to make an appointment, drop off, and pick up. Every employee whether it was on the phone or in person was so friendly and kept me updated on timing and what to expect. I've been to dealerships up and down the state of California and Normandin is hands down the best one I've been to!
I've purchased several new vehicles from this dealership over the years and I will keep coming back because of the level of service I receive from the buying experience, to the finance dept and the service dept. Even through difficult times, with Covid and staffing shortages, they work very hard to be accommodating and provide an exceptional experience to their customers.
UPDATED: Bring everything you'll need to be comfortable for a half day wait, including food, entertainment, chargers and earplugs. I've been here 4 hours for an oil change. I had a 9AM appointment and my car wasn't even touched until noon. I sat here for three hours for NO REASON. I have no idea why they bother making appointments. This will be my last visit.
Hands down worst customer service I've ever experienced. All the receptionist are extremely rude, I've called multiple times trying to schedule a simple oil change and tire repair and all they do is act rude and transfer me to someone else while nobody ever picks the phone up on the other hand. 0 stars! I will never purchase a vehicle from here again.
Incredibly rude. Wouldn't listen to me. Told me, "We only do quotes on cars that are going to actually get fixed here." When I fully intended on it I just needed to ask some questions due to damage the previous shop, Pacific collision, did to the car. Just. Made me feel lower than dirt. I couldn't possibly imagine being that way as customer service.
Called the parts department today and the first time they hung up on me, I called back and after letting it ring, someone answered stating “please hold” and immediately placed on hold. After a period of time on hold, it went to a voice mail stating “leave a message”. I left a message and never received a call back. I guess they don’t need my money!
Very unhappy with the customer service I received trying to schedule an appointment for service. The lady who answered the phone was abrupt and definitely not skilled in customer service. Never verified my appointment before transfer to a manager voicemail. I ve been a long time customer, and the treatment I received was definitely very poor.
Wow- I don't know who thinks the customer service here is acceptable. I called 6 times after dropping off my van on Tuesday at 8:00 am. I was shuffled to three different service people, all going straight to message. I did not get a single call back about the status of my van. It's now Friday and I assume they will close without responding.
Very difficult to schedule an appointment with. Overpriced service. And when I did ask and pay for DEF liquid for my truck, I was charged a crazy premium without actually topping off my truck. Update: much more positive experience. Came to address a vehicle recall and was taken care of very well. Service performed quicker than expected.
Mark , Lee , Matt , Bijoy and Harry are the best team ever I worked with! bought a Corvette C8 Z51 in great shape and they did everything they could to satisfy the transaction. Finance guys also were very helpful to get the minimum rate possible these days. They are not pushy or anything. Great team and they deserved to earn my business
Terrible customer service. Bought a brand new RAM 5500 last year. Paid for monthly maintenance plan and called to try to schedule a diagnostic. They wouldnt even take it in to look at it, they claimed that part or the truck wasnt able to service at the shop. Didnt even have the mere capability to refer us to someone who can. Useless.
I went this place today and lee is salesman I never seen person like him he’s really helpful and get me really really good deal on rubicon i try couple other places they force you to buy additional things like scratch plan and other over all this is my favorite place to stop for buying cars because of ⭐️ lee thanks again
Been trying to work a deal on the most expensive car on their lot and can’t get anyone to bother returning my calls/emails. I don’t say this to brag, but you would think they might give this some attention! Willing to update my review if they decide they’re in the business of selling cars.
They got very bad attitude, even their sales manager don’t know how to talk with customers.Nobody wants the vehicle for free,i got a better deal on rubicon from other dealership and better customer service.if you are looking for good customer service will not recommend to anyone.
Tried to call 3 times without success to make an appointment. Basically getting connected to different departments and got either disconnected or people did not pick up. Had to drive over there to make an appointment which has been set up for next wednesday. To be continued....
Mr. Steven at the customer service parts was so friendly and helpful . Very easy going helpful and nice . He helped with all the parts and the prices were reasonable in comparison to other dealership . I will definitely come back again . Thank you Steven and happy holidays .
Customer Service is Great. As well Service Department. Parts department is bear of any novelty items like hats, jackets and misc. Add- ons. You could stand in the parts department for 30 minutes before the 1 guy behind d the counter will even acknowledge your existence.
Had a scheduled oil change. Quick service. Friendly staff. Nice waiting room while waiting for your vehicle, or they get you rides with the shuttle. There is also a drop box for your keys if you want to leave the vehicle before 730am. I'll return again. Great job.
Just kicking tires. Got the info I needed with no hard sales pressure. If the price is right, I might buy from them. Lowered 1 star. Obviously follow up could be better because I did by the JT just not from them because they failed to return emails and calls.
Spoke to Mario online to schedule a vehicle appraisal and on the day of I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. A week later I went in signed some paper work and was cut a check in about 20 minutes. Smooth process and no time wasted, would recommend!
Normandin Body Shop was awesome. The team genuinely cared about my truck which was much appreciated. They made a great effort and provided excellent advise on my install. Fast service and a fair price. Special thanks to Claudine and George!!
Had my 2014 Viper GTS at the Body Shop for some rework and the customer support is 2nd to none. They really stand by their work and warranty. Will definitely recommend Normandin's Body Shop to friends and family. Thank you George and team!
Made a appointment for 09:15, got there early at 8:45. sat inline tell 10:15, was told 45 minutes it's now noon. I cancelled the oil change and the tire rotation, just do the recall software update. Nothing still! should of bought a Chevy
Worst service.. called every day this week to speak to parts department and no one ever Answers the phone and then they just hang up on you. Called Steven creek and they were on it. I would avoid this place
My Service advisor was Howard Weir. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about my car. As always I am very happy with the service. This is the only dealership I trust and will use!
I left my brand new jeep for the first maintenance and they gave it to me the next day with a broken window, all my stuff and equipment stolen and they did not respond for any of the damages
Great place to get service done. Advisors are very professional and they don’t mind giving appointment on the spot. I trust only Normandin with my Jeep
Thank you so much Eddie A I lovee my new ride Jeep Altitude Everyone there was very helpful an polite if your looking for a new car check them out✌
Had a great experience purchasing a 2020 Acura MDX from Chris Groeschen. Chris was professional and very helpful throughout the purchasing process.
Dealer has had my vehicle for 5 days. In 5 days they have not once called to provide an update
