Not much there for me thus far at all. Sprouts is the only place I have gone to before and now it is only a rare occasion for friends who want something there because I am NOT happy with the corporate ethics! They pass themselves off as a health food store and yet have a MEAGER amount of organic produce and they do not support local farmers at all! Their bulk section is void of anything organic and is laden with toxic GMO junk "food"stuffs that are nothing but fatty, sugar/salt/chemical laden health TIME BOMBS! Their packaged foods and some of their herbals are their only somewhat redeeming quality and yet I question most of what they sell therein because of so many hidden additives almost across the board. They REEK in my opinion of having ties with MONSANTO who is doing his utmost to depopulate humanity and I would encourage anyone seeking to be truly healthy to steer clear of them as much as they possibly can! If you want truly healthy produce people - go to Legacy Farmers Market and support your local farmers that do not spray but instead use nature’s own defenses against invasive pests! And if you are looking for truly organic produce and none irradiated/homogenized eggs go to Natural Grocers. They also do not support local farmers (which irks me to no end) but they at least have a superior produce section dedicated to being actually organic and a way better selection of real, organic food and their bulk section has some seeds and nuts that actually reproduce if you soak and sprout them as well as a decent supply of bulk, organically grown dried fruits, seeds, and nuts in the refrigerated section.
The parking lot and the rest of the vehicles are not safe to be left alone. The parking lot security do not do their job. I have been moving all day. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon. I was starving. So I went into HEB. I found the greenest crispiest chicken Cobb salad ever. The best ever, an avocado that was perfectly ripe to eat right now and chocolate milk and a King size Snickers bar. Then I got so lucky and I found shade to park in the parking lot to eat my lunch. So I open my doors roll down my windows. had my salad sitting on the dash my chocolate milk sitting on the dash and the two half pieces of avocado sitting on the dash with a spoon in. had the side door of my van open where you can see my furniture inside. and the parking security guard came and parked right in front of me watching me eat. Instead of doing his job watching the rest of the parking lot. I had parked in the back away from everyone and everything.
I am still confused by rating an entire shopping center. Are people like "hey I want to check out that center over there with the Chili's and the Michael's, but I'm just not sure the infrastructure they're placed in is right for me. I'll just check the reviews..." If that's you... Then you're an odd duck, friend. Maybe you worry too much? Maybe over-planning is an issue you want to check out with a professional? In the meantime, rest assured that the Northwoods Phase II shopping center is the absolute pinnacle of shopping center technology and design. The parking is plentiful, the drainage is swift, and the lighting is acceptably secure. You certainly could do worse for your trip for mass-produced italian food, or a last minute printer paper purchase. Go there today, you'll enjoy it.
Slowly losing its larger clients and beginning to have and more vacant. HEB, Sprouts, ULTA Beauty, Academy and Best Buy across Loop 1604 are the really only things keeping it alive for now. Even though it is slowly on it's way down on quality shopping, there's still quite a good amount of quality stores, even some that are the only one around within a reasonable distance to the northside. Hopefully it can keep and maybe even grow its customer base in the coming future, but if you ask me... it's on it's way out.
Very nice mall, but stores are kind of far apart, sometimes it's nice to be parked in the middle of parking lot,in front of Ulta,to be able to access all the store's,without having to get in and out of your car,all the time,, especially with the heat, and the direct Sun,no covered parking,no shady parking, but at night, very nice bright lights, and not very many people hanging around after dark, security presence,,nice clean stores,in a centrally located area, and well lit night parking.
It is 2019, almost 2020. This is a venue designed specifically for shopping and one would expect that it would be very customer friendly. However, there are multiple parking lots within the center and much to my surprise and agitation those parking lots are not connected, meaning you have to get back onto the surface street to get into the correct parking lot. But that being said, there is a lot of variety in the complex and it is in a rapidly growing part of the city.
If you wanna go shopping......if you want to stop and have a nice lunch.......if you just want to spend the day window shopping and waste some time........this place is great....you never have to worry about parking because there's always parking....even if it's far away ....gotta get those steps in....so if you're on the northside and want to enjoy the weekend even during covid....it's more than possible if you visit northwoods shopping center
This place is awesome heb grocery store discount clothes store ,whole foods ,micheals craft store ,movies, ice skating ,ulta,Marshal's ,Stein Mart academy, red Robin ,2 game stops,Chili's,sum Mexican food restaurant im not sure of the name it's next to Chili's,bed bath and beyond, plus size clothes store for wemon,an alot of other stores I mean alot more I just cant name them all ,this place has everything.
I came here specifically to visit the Ulta store. Ulta was good, needed some hair conditioner. Friendly staff, clean store. That day it was busy, many customers in the store, but not too busy. The shopping center itself has some great choices of various stores. The parking lot always has plenty of room. And it is a clean parking lot too, no trash! That always makes a big impression for me.
Lots of places to go here for all kinds of people. Stouts is the place you need to be though. Stouts Pizza Co. you don't want to miss this place its gold. Pricey but worth every penny I love the garden salad with romaine lettuce instead of the spring mix with lemon vinegarette dressing. They also use fresh jalapeno so much better than pickled on a pizza.
One of my favorite shopping centers in town! A brilliant, if always busy, HEB, the best Barnes and Noble in town, and a ton of other stores and restaurants make this one of the best and busiest areas of the north side. The only bad thing about this area is dealing with the access road, but it is a necessary evil for how many great stores are in the area.
Good variety of shops though not especially a place to just walk around. Each shop has a specific reason so not much for browsing. Good food places to choose from and the parking lot is easy to navigate with many entrances and exists for easy in and out experience. Craft stores, office stores, home good stores, grocery, video game, pet, clothing...ect...
The plaza is really nice! There’s a great selection of stores to shop at, the parking lot is nice and in great condition and it’s easy to find a good spot. Very close and convenient to main roads and easy to see and enter from the main roads. All in all, it’s a great place to go shopping and easy to spend a few hours shopping at the selection of stores.
The attention to detail won us over. We were notify and changes related to our flight. The check in staff was courtesy to everyone. The let you know in advance if you needed to check in carry-on bags due to limited space. Next time we fly it will be first class. We flew economy it was good and stewardess, and steward was quick to serve us. 10 out 10.
Tons of stores and plenty of parking. Heads up that it can be a bit difficult getting onto 281 access road northbound during rush hour because cars are backed up from the stop lights at the 281/1604 intersection. I usually drive southward through the parking lots and use one of the south entrances to the shopping center to pull onto the access road.
Excellent clothing prices Kohls store at this location has a larger collection of everthing - far more than the other 2 local stores. Their Sales prices are Fair, & always lowering! ! Come browse, you can find everything to complete your kitchen, fix up your bedroom, get those new sneakers + sandals or complete your wardrobe. Shop Kohls.
I mainly go over there to Kohl's. You can make Amazon returns at Kohl's and get a 25% coupon that's good for a week. Kohl's takes care of all the packing and mailing for you. All you need is the QR code sent to your phone so Kohl's can scan it to generate your free shipping label. Per Wei Chinese is over there, too, and they're open!
This is one of the largest outdoor type shopping plazas that I've ever seen. From indoor ice rink to literally 100's of stores and restaurants to the two hotels on the property there is something for almost everyone. Some anchors include HEB, Kohl's and Academy. They even have a bank and the 2 hotels, so you may never need to leave.
Very friendly! The store associates seem extremely helpful and it seems the associates want customers to return. There are plenty of disabled parking spots and entryways. Don't know where public restrooms are, possibly at the nearby H.E.B. I would definitely go back to this area because of the friendly dispositions shown.
Our waitress Kelsey showed us excellent customer service!!! We celebrated a birthday with a party of 15 and she was on it even helped us with choosing excellent dishes. Everyone enjoyed their food it was deliciousThanks so much to your staff that was attentive since we walked in the door. I chose 10 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ …
I actually never been to this shopping center & my nephew has even been here and hes only 8! Lol, but yes loved the vibes inside Northwoods. Everyone's so happy & selling their Mexico commodities, which I even purchased a old school Mexican blanket to keep warm on these cold nights coming these Christmas holidays.
Kohl's my weekly visit. By myself my friend Ms Hernandez could make it. It was a joy to visit with Ms. Hi and Ms. Nicole. I went to spend my $40. Of Kohl's cash. The deal this week is $20.00 off your $100.00 purchase. And 20 percent off Friends &Family. Go and get wild with 60,70,80% off most everything... …
By far the friendliest, most knowledgeable helpful instore and rescue staff I have ever dealt with. Simply incredible. I could not rate them higher. Found them when we were looking for a rescue puppy on the SASPCA site. This store lets them base out of there on meet / adoption day. You with not be disappointed!
Lots of options for shopping and food. Visited Firehouse Subs and it was delicious. Got the Spicy Cajun Chicken, very good. Would recommend. Also tried the Steak and Cheese, really tasty. Staff is very helpful and restaurant is clean. Jakob helped on register and gave good recommendations, thank you Jakob.
This place is GOAT of shopping centers in that area. There are frequent sightings of many Professional ball players as well as some well know actors and actresses, they have to shop on the cheap sometimes too. We are all people. Movies, you can meat them and take them to classics like the Emogi Movie.
Great place to find it all Food, clothes, books, coffee, office supplies and everything in between Ve love it specially Barnes&Noble and the Movie theater The Restaurants are Great; Le Pep & the Italian place are very Good HEB & Sprouts are so much more than you need for groceries And plenty more...
Parking lot is well set up except infront of HEB. That particular part of the parking areas was not well thought out. Also keep in mind that the Northwoods Shopping Center is a place where people like to meet for various different types of buying/selling so you never know what you're going to see.
This is a great local shopping mall! It has some great retail stores, Steinmart, PetCo, and some fine restaurants, Fish City Grill, Zio's Italian restaurant and Red Robin to name a few! There's also an HEB market. If you're new to the area, you owe it to yourself to check it out! I'm glad I did!
There’s one of the nicest H-E-B’s in the area, a bunch of clothing and home stores, a pet store, a small Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, and the list goes on and on. Best shopping area to get everything on your list crossed off in one spot without a bunch of highway travel in between stops.
Old Navy, Barnes & Nobles, Carters for kids, Zios Italian Restaurant, Bath & Body Works, La Madeline Cafe along with other restaurants close by (as well as near a larger HEB grocery store, movie theater, and other shopping areas) make this a fun place to pop in to shop different things.
I have the regal unlimited membership so i cannot say this is my firat and best choice to go see a movie in San Antonio but put of the regal theqters this is the best. Not super busy, clean, updated seats, decent food options. Nothing gourmet but good. Ive had zero problems here ever.
I hardly ever need to go to other Academy stores; typically I find what I'm looking for here at a reasonable or sale price. Staff are helpful when need be. Great time of year to get light weight exercise shorts from $7-$15. They always have the style & size tennis shoes I like, also.
Had signature spa pedicure at Veneto nails. First time there, but plan on coming back. Very clean salon with comfortable massage chairs. Tiffany was excellent. She took her time, was meticulous with her work and gave me a wonderful leg & foot massage. Truly a signature pedicure!
More importantly my daughter loves this shopping center. Five below is her favorite store and the little flea market things they have in parking lot occasionally are a big draw for she and I. But anything that my baby is interested in I approve...within reason of course
Good place for food and some targeted shopping. It gets crowded on the weekends so be patient with the traffic. I wouldn’t necessarily classify this as the type of place that you park and start store hopping. That’s would be more on the Phase I section of the complex.
We had the free refill cups the lady said we chnaged our cups we no longer offer the free unlimited refills. She was super rude but, i spend money and this how you treat ppl. Her attitude was nasty but, i like the theater... I will come back but, she is horrible...
Good selection of stores, including Michaels, Sprouts, OfficeMax, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Bodyworks, Kohls, Lane Bryant, Academy, Gap, Barnes & Noble, and more. There are also several restaurants like Chili's and Red Robin and a recently renovated movie theater.
Zio's Italian Food. Didn't know there was another restaurant in town. Off 1604 and 281, is far from our location for my granddaughters birthday. She likes the Butchers Paper as tablecloths. You can draw on it. The restaurant off I-10 & De Zavala is closed.
Chevron gas station was such a pleasant visit. Due to the cold weather was the only store open in the area and the gentleman working was super nice and the store was very clean and stocked. I love this store and can always count on it having what I need.
This Shopping center is quite big and it has H-E-B, Kohl's, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Pei Wei, Petco, La Madeleine, Regal Cinemas, Well Fargo Bank, Starbucks, Pier 1, T-Mobile, Supercuts, Frost Bank ATM, Marshalls, Bath & Body and other stores.
Easy parking, so many selections for both eating or shopping. Even has a an ice skating rink and a movie theatre and an HEB for all grocery needs. Basically everything you could look for. Conveniently located w a huge number of parking lots
This shopping center is one of the best kept secrets in San Antonio. I would venture to guess that the restaurants are probably some of the most popular “well-kept secret“ there are around. I urge you to check it out. Totally recommend it!
I always enjoy going to the Northwoods Mall especially if you're plus size all of the plus-size stores are conveniently located in the same area so no problems I especially like the Avenue because they have better sales than anybody else
I really over this place. Good shopping and hotels. Not fancy like La Cantera but will have pretty much everything you need. Warning, the HEB here is very busy. All other shopping is not overly busy and still not bad near Christmas.
We love the Ice skating Rink. It's a great place to have the middle school band winter party to celebrate the first semester of school. They seemed under staffed for so many kiddos and families at once but we all had a great time!
Northwoods, though often a real pain to get into and out of due to traffic, offers a ton of places to shop and eat at. We have frequented half the offerings over the last 10 years consistently and it is a great retail location.
Nice layout, well lit, clean, parking lot security, loitering is discouraged so not so many people just standing around nice neighborhood shops are in walking distance or driving spaces are large for even bigger trucks.
I live on Henderson Pass , This shopping center is five minutes away. I love the convenience of a one stop shop. One store next to another, I park and walk from store to store to shop. It's a great area as well
Good shopping center. Has restaurants movie theaters a few medical offices. Heb groceries. Orange Leaf frozen yogurt. You can park and walk around the different shops. Get your steps in for the day. Nice place
Pretty decent shopping center, HEB particularly is my favorite. The only issue is that the in and out of frontage road of 281N or 1604E is an arduous task due to non ending road construction in all directions.
Nice shopping area. Smaller than other areas but there are a few notable shops such as Marshalls, Ulta, Old Navy, HEB, Bed, Bath & Beyond and one of my favorite restaurants are located there; Fish City Grill.
Went to the theater there. Parking was close by and theater 1 was comfortable, but cold. They had the thermostat set for a full house, but there were only 5 other couples in the theater. Bring your sweater!
My mom and I live in Schertz and love Old Navy. We aren't too keen on the location closest to us, so we drive all the way over here to get great customer service and shop in a exceptionally organized store!
Great options for shopping like old navy, Ross, Michaels, 5 and below, carters, and Barnes and noble to name a few. When your hungry there’s the large chain food places to choose from if your into those.
Hey what can I say, I love the HEB markets. This location is one of my favorites, easy access from 281 or Henderson Pass. They have a few things, I didn't see at one of my other HEB stores. Amazing.
Excellent place to shop and lots of different stores. Catch the sakes going on . Summer things are on sale while they are moving towards winter things . Great time to shop all your favorite places!
I live close by and it's nice to have a shopping center like this. Heb, Old Navy, Carters, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Marshalls, Khols, lots of dining options. I'm here at least a few times per week.
It's Dollar Tree I shop at. I like there. Beware, they have so many items, u can easily buy 2, 3, or even 4 of each item!! It's all $1. Word. Check it out. You won't have to go any other place.
I love it! ❤️ it's pricier however better quality. Young Hispanic male was so nice and gave me alot of information and knew where everything was. Tall, curly hair, just a very kind young man.
Great Dentists, Hygienist and front office staff. The care and the personal attention that they all take is outstanding. For this and much more I would recommend Northwoods Dental Spa to all.
Fish City Grill has relaxing atmosphere, terrific service, delicious food. My meal: seafood platter with blackened catfish, blackened shrimp, fried oysters, rice, hushpuppies and potatoes.
Many clothing stores you can go to. There is also a Sprouts and 24hr HEB here. A Barnes and Noble, 2 starbucks and many more places. Restaurants as well. It's a nice little place to shop.
Been going to this shopping strip since I was a kid I mean how could you not movie theatre, ice skating rink, mini golf, arcade, restaurants and many shop at a great place to have fun
Nice variety of shops. Ample parking to include handicapped. Theater and ice rink not too far and fun places to go. Currently precautions for Covid are in place in all establishments.
This is one of many shopping areas. The roads are under construction right now which is awesome to the traffic in the area. Once they complete that the it will be easier to get here.
Barnes and Nobles is a fabulous store but don't expect your Starbucks, located in the store, to taste up to Starbucks standards. The drinks, all 4 of them, were not what we ordered.
Not sure why Google asks me to rate shopping centers. It has stores and a parking lot so I have to give it my highest rating. If it has stores you want to shop go, if not, don't.
Great seating with clean, comfortable seats, and ridiculous leg room. Once you see a movie here, you may not wanna ever go back to the basic seats in other theaters, seriously.
This area is a little disorganized but they do have a good mix of stores nested around a decent theatre. I'd say the parking lot confusion creates a bit of unnecessary chaos.
Great service. Good food. Loved their ranchero sauce and their veggie enchiladas as well as bean and cheese burrito. I love their food and recommend for vegetarians as well.
Lunch at Chuy's. Loved the green chicken enchiladas! Note the green chili stew is made from chicken, not pork, but has great flavor! Service is not rushed. We will be back.
Decent stores. Parking was good. Bath and Body Works is the best in the shopping center. They are always super friendly and helpful and everything smells so good. Love it!
Has a good selection of stores and the location also has a variety entertainment facilities. Bought my prom tux there and worked in one of the restaurants back in the day.
I visit The Joint Chiropractic there regularly and then, there is always somewhere interesting to go there. Such a wide variety of choices and really convenient to get to!
I love this center! It's got the closest Ulta to where I live, plus good clothing stores. Heb is right around the corner, too. I'm definitely here quite a bit and love it.
Great place to shop. Old navy is the only place I can get clothing and they have a candle shop, love that, smells great. Have a lot of stores to shop at all at one place.
Just discovered curb side and it’s a game changer! Ordered online and order was ready for pick up in less than an hour. Parked checked in and I had my items in no time!
Bed Bath and Beyond but also a Bath and Bodyworks is entirely too many B's in one place and you need to chill. Only one Starbucks but its in the book store so 5 stars.
I go to play indoor soccer. This place is nice, lost of space to bring your family. There is an uce rink. The soccer field is pretty big in size. I recommend for sure
I go to this complex for the Barnes and Noble, which has a fantastic selection of Funko Pops and board games. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of puzzles!
I frequent the Marshalls and Ulta store. Sometimes stop in Red Robin if I'm hungry. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. Convenient location. Nothing fancy.
Had the crab and shrimp boil it was excellent. Had the gumbo for appetizer it was fabulous. Would recommend to everyone that like seafood. Service was excellent.
Shops were in decent walking distance if you want a little exercise while you shop. Variety of shops is okay. A little something for everyone. Good food options.
Nice strip of stores.. Shoes. Clothes. Books.Tgere There are plenty of places to eat near this strip as well from Chinese food, fast food, sandwiches, seafood..
Not enough shade to walk from one store to the next, more then a few locations needed structure maintenance. The parking lot had a few major cracks and bumps.
I visited here to go to Zio’s and the shopping center is pretty good. Easy to drive around in, there a lot of parking spots. And it’s not too dim at night.
Took more then 2mins to be seated. Food was okay, however you have to reiterate how you want it cooked if its a specific way that you want something fixed.
Mix of stores, a little of everything. Just need a snack place. With Sprouts gone other than casual dining not really a place to grab something lite.
Best strip Mall to go to. Has great restaurants and shopping is easier than having to go to the large Mall. Parking here is so much more convenient.
Wonderful shopping center, with a Barnes and Noble, Old Navy, Chugs, LA Madeline, etc.. For full dis leisure, I am daytime parking lot security.
I really like coming here. Such a variety of stores and restaurants. Hats off to the property management for keeping this place clean and safe.
This HEB is always stocked with items needed for a quick shop and go experience. Also there was no waiting in the Self-Checkout area! …
clean parking lot, very well maintained grounds. The store fronts are easily spotted and traffic flows evenly throughout the parking area
The HEB there leaves a lot to be desired. Very spotty selection and slack inventory. People were very nice but needs product improvement
I hope barnes nobles never goes out of business, old navy is still okay, bath n body works smells good and sells really good foam soaps
A smaller restaurant with a full size bar, tables and booths. We had an excellent waiter. Food was great, drinks were excellent too!
I love this shopping area. Sunday they have farmers market out. Lived in this area for nearing 7 years and love it around here.
Lots of options to go shopping. Parking lots can get very full at times so plan ahead. Overall shopping plaza is pretty clean.
Love that there are multiple types stores. Can get multiple things done at once. There is also an HEB all you need is here.
The Joint was Awesome! We go see Dr Mike! He is exceptionally professional and takes his time working on his patients!
