"Quite an underwhelming mall"
I really can't comment on the overall shopping centre experience however, I got stuck in an elevator (lift number 5) in your shopping centre (whatever, those things can happen). However, what was bad was the customer service. If I could negatively score that experience I would. We interacted with the customer service rep who tried to reassure us and informed of the estimate times. However being stuck in a "small" lift that is enclosed with about 10 other people your customer reps could have been more reassuring. For example, constantly saying you are safe did not make anyone feel a sense of measurement. However, they had no control of the situation, the mechanic was a fair bit away. The worst part about the experience is that the mechanic as soon we got out after being stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes had the audacity to blame it on us. There were about 11-12 people in the lift. He's answer to what happened, "there should have been less of you in there". Mind you the lift say maximum number of people is 17. However, after a very distressful 30 minutes to try and blame the customers was a low blow. That experience has tainted my view of your shopping centre, hopefully you can review how you engage your third party suppliers. E.g. the Elevator company and their customer service.
The inside is a shell of a mall, but has a few hidden gems! Firstly, it has the most reliable toilet if you need one when you're on Dixon St. Go inside, down the escalator and it's at the back (directly under Yummy Noodle). Second, go inside and look up and you'll see a remnant of the Sydney Monorail! Wild times. The outside has some of the best food places in Haymarket: Kwafood Skewers, Yummy Noodle and Biang Biang. But as they're accessible from the street, I don't really consider them part of the building. The center as a whole is a relic.
While they do have a good selection of meat cuts, there is really not a lot to choose from. The ready-made foods are unique though, which give it a leg up on my other fav. KBBQ Having a choice between brightly lit booths (for family) and dimly lit benches (for dates) is pretty cool. With the food and KPOP blasting in the background, this KBBQ makes for an interesting experience the first time. However, I feel once is enough for me.
Used to be a stop of the now defunct-monorail, it is now a very dodgy centre with lots of empty shops and toilets that are frequented by Satan himself (I have noticed the toilet is cleaner in the morning ) The restaurants in the building are very authentic even the cleanliness level mimics their counterpart. Just make sure there’s handle bar in your toilet after a meal in those restaurants
Quite an underwhelming mall...there's barely any shops inside. Just a place to play pool downstairs, some iphone case shop and maybe a couple of random clothing stores that are quite expensive. Overall nothing really exciting about the mall itself. It does have a lot of yummy restaurants and a dessert place on the outside and the Mandarin Club next to it but other than that...unfortunately not much.
Food around here is quite good. The toilets not so good. There are always a lot of people around so they must be doing something right. Parking can be a bit of a pain and expensive. I usually just park in the parking lot under Market City or else you will spend a long time driving around in circles looking for street parking. The atmosphere around this place is always good
Although there are some specialty, niche retailers that have tenancies in this shopping centre, the only upsides are the relatively large internet and gaming area downstairs and the dining options, which are mostly along Dixon Street. Quite a lonely and an empty feeling of a shopping centre, that often the escalators are not operational.
This is the absolute best for Asian cousine. The sizzling dishes are amazing. The laksa is fantastic and the dumplings are excellent. There is a licensed bar and even sugar cane drinks. It is definitely worth the experience and it's not expensive at all.
It's good to have a stroll around with plenty of food stores along the Chinatown strip including N2, Arisun, and Twisted Pot. Yummy delicious food. However besides that the stores inside aren't too exciting. You have to be pretty chip to be there.
A quirky little restaurant. Nice ambiance, really nice waiters & managers/owners. A huge menu with lots of choices. Orders taken when we were ready. Drinks entrees & main meals came promptly & good spacing between. We took a birthday
If ever there’s 14 of yus wanting to go to CEO via lift. DONT. DO. IT. You’ll be stuck innit for 40 minutes and get yelled at by management that’s wasn’t so accomodating. Be wise and take the escalator, heck even just take the STAIRS!
The mall is quite empty TBH. It’s been poorly managed. The toilets are horrible. There is a snooker place, an Internet cafe, a karaoke, numerous Chinese restaurants and a nice ice cream shop, and that’s about it.
I love coming here... lots of variety in the shops... the location is very convenient... you can catch a public transport easily if you don't want to drive... I always have a great time here...
Parking was pretty expensive. Most of the shops were close, the place was like a ghost town. Not sure what's it's like in the evening, but retails stores were 80% closed down so yah.
Not much of a shopping mall... Unless you're shopping around for food! A great array of asian cuisine to select from- mainly different cusines from all around China and Korean.
My wife and I ate at Yan Sang Park (Korean BBQ) and it was amazing! The food was phenomenal and they were very accommodating for us to fit a pram through the small aisles.
Lots of different kind of Asian restaurants. We went to the CEO karaoke which is surprisingly nice. Great service and friendly staff. Very Cheap for late night catch up.
Pretty big area with lots of shops and food places to eat at. A very good place to meet and eat. Good atmosphere and lots of people around doing the same thing
Awesome place, good view , quite expensive for a BBQ fish. Service is a bit boring. Fish options are not as many as it should be for a fish reatraunt...
Nice clean shopping center....has some chairs or sofa to a rest for a while.... Shops are different (hongkong style), many asian restaurants.....
Centre is very very run down, only a handful of shops are open or exist, the place is falling apart. Very hard to find anything in there aswell
The mall itself is terrifying and derelict - I thought I was gonna get mugged. Theres is a public bathroom avaliable here so that's useful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the place. Lots of Yummy Asian food places to fill your empty stomachs. Some great coffee and desserts places too.
Great assortment of food shopping is found here although over the years the place ha gone downhill as not as good as it used to be.
Pretty deserted shopping centre in Chinatown. Nothing really worth going other than some few restaurants outside.
Was ok. Little expensive. There is much nicer and cheaper food in this area. But you get table service here.
Some good shops in here but very very empty inside. Some stores are shut. It is next to an old monorail stop
Some great shopping outlets if you like different styles, food outside is good, liked the skewer place
There are many restaurants, but you have to choose well. A place with a lot of waiting was the answer.
The place isn't tidy and not maintained properly. Shops inside aren't good enough. No proper hygiene.
Great full this venue was open late in night, food was delicious but the prices weren’t appealing.
Great locations specifically with the Restaurants at Darling Harbour, China Town Sydney.. ......
Not too bad...alot of shops were closed and escalators not working.....a bit of a ghost town!
Sadly it's dead.. lots of vacancies. Hopefully once the pandemic ends things will pickup.
Interesting little shopping precinct at little China Town parking is a nightmare though.
New tastes more choices, open till late, suitable for friends gathering or hanging out.
Inside of it looks very empty and quiet. A few shops around the centre are good though.
Plenty of variety of food outlets and retail shops. Great gelato( N2 Extreme Gelato )
This was handy to Darling Harbour,Great places to eat and just fun watching people.
Seriously smells like a urinal. Shops empty, escalators not working just horrible
Interesting place to eat if you know what your ordering, not much English spoken.
86 Korean bbq. The host was helpful and friendly and the food didnt disappoint
In Chinatown, with N2 and nail salons and clothing stores. All Asian operated.
dated shopping centre in the heart of chinatown , but serves as a good arcade
Good for shopping and eating, quality service. Don't speak English thought.
The shopping centre is more about the restaurants than anything else for me
The options are amazing..don't forget to leave a small corner for dessert
Love love love the restaurants along the strip, BIANGBIANG noodles and n2
Yummy BBQ restaurant, poor service, bad attitude. Thumb down totally.
Not a very good shopping centre but the kareoke downstairs is great!
In the tower it is abandoned. Shops closed. Ot much happening here.
Part of China town in Sydney. Plenty of selection of restaurants.
Very little there. Traditional Chinese massage was bliss tho.
Visited vape nation and very happy with the variety on offer.
A lot of eateries with a few shops. Restrooms are available
Great place to shop...quite expensive but good quality...
Great place to go shopping ! very big and lots of shops !
very busy but lots of atmosphere and great food outlets
Great selection of Asian restaurants and takeaway food.
Handy place to shop if you are staying in China town
So many restaurants to choose from.all seems good
Very run down and not so clean shopping centre.
Good all round satisfaction place to deal with
Good food lightly flavored but nice big serve
Good food except the meat slices - too chewy
There are so many great dining choices here.
Great food, cheap prices. Eat like a local!
bad toilets and very quiet place dodgy asf
I mean its nice but not really much to do.
A lot of Chinese street food restaurants
My and my partner was in for date night
Needs a big big clean of all the centre
Great place to find the best eateries.
Could be updated but food always great
Excellent customer service and product
The guy in the front gave me a flower.

Amazing service and food is very good
Nice shopping centre and food court.
Really quiet mall with minimal shop.
You need to bargain in these stores.
So many foods and shops around here
Good variety but needs cleaning
Nice range but a bit expensive
Good range of shopping outlets
Great eateries and atmosphere
