Booking was easy through their website. We were greeted and shown to our table, place is dark like a nightclub. I was hoping for pictures of the farm on the walls none there though. The wait staff were on the ball and exceptional. I would have preferred to have been given a plate for the first few courses even if they are only finger foods, as I like to take a bite and then put the food down. As the lady liked to do on the table next to me and just used her place mat. The place mat was a very nice looking porus piece if stone. Mine was stained from the last people. I asked the wait staff if it was supposed to be a plate as mine was dirty and they said 'would you like it removed?' Actually no.. I wanted a plate. I avoided eating anything that dropped on the unclean, germ holding stone block in front of me. The food was disappointing. Some dishes were ok, others were inedible. Most were trying so hard to be fancy they seemed to forget that food is supposed to be satisfying and taste good. Possibly a seasonal thing, maybe with different produce from the farm a better experience would result however I doubt it because the individual ingedience were not the issue, it wasn't that the taste was always bad, but the textures were really off putting. One dish I especially disliked was a small potato sitting in a fried gristle at the bottom of chicken and potato skins. It was yuck, too oily, and simulated scraping the pan after a chicken roast, putting the leftover burnt bits in a blender and serving that with a potato. The duck dish was cooked really well. The duck was moist and delicious. I was overjoyed the chef didn't put anything fried or try to make a crunchy element that felt like I was eating sand as in other dishes. It needed the berries to be put into a sauce and made acidic to cut through the fat from the duck but after the previous dishes I was happy to have something edible. When the waitress asked what my favorite part was, I really wish I had asked what hers was and why because reading the reviews for this place people love what they are doing here and from what I had I just don't understand it. My favourite was the sourdough bread served with house churned butter. It was simple, tasted great, homely and inviting just like farm food should be. I can see what they are doing here and clearly people are lapping up the hype. I get it that you have certain produce and build a dish with what you have. If it doesn't taste good why bother though. I've had meals that were less than half the price that were better, and I've had meals twice the price that were better. I get it that they have self imposed restrictions and that's fun, however the people that say this is good I think are lying to themselves after spending the money.. I did hear one lady on a table next to us that was very impressed... I guess I'm just not artsy enough for it? Sorry guys, it's not a bad review more an honest one from my and my partners perspective. I've had real farm cooked food. This is not it. Quick edit to say that the owners of this place clearly can't handle any constructive criticism. It's a shame they can't be anywhere near as good as they think they are, even though they clearly are trying so so hard. You can have the snarkiest of replys and call me rude if you like. Doesn't change the fact that I tell everyone not to bother with this abysmal eatery. Cheers. Andy :) A reply to your response. My review is honest and extremely helpful. I did say something on the night so perhaps don't be so quick to be aggressive. Maybe you should just try better. The food was not great in my opinion. I told you why and you can either take it on board or have a hissy fit about it. Boo hoo poor small business person can't accept a criticism. That potato dish was like having a mouthfull of sand... yuck. Maybe you should open a bakery and just bake sourdough and make butter. You know nothing of farm food or customer satisfaction.

Simply Amazing. This dining experience deserves at least 6 stars. UPDATE; April 2021, New location but still amazing. O.My's new location is a dark decor but somehow still warm and welcoming, the entire experince is still 6 star, just go and try it for your next special occaision. Degustation menus are my favourite way to dine. And the guys at o.my have taken it to another level. This is a value for money experience, and it is not cheap! O.My has taken table to plate to a new level. Their carefully crafted dishes from local produce, including much from their own gardens, are a sensory delight. The menu is ever changing and the visual presentation of each dish is a joy that is equally matched to the tasting experience. You simply must try the beverage pairing. They have thoughtfully and creatively created matching drinks in three categories, non alcoholic, mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and alcoholic. The night we went we had all three pairing on our table and it was sublime. You will enjoy drinks here you have never had before (and may not have again until you return, and you will return!) The dining environment is just as much part of the experience, and the trip to the toilet is a little adventure all of it own! (go, even if you don't feel the need). Its a tastefully decorated, small setting that even when full is not too noisy. This place is a long way from anywhere, but worth every effort to get there. The Food, Beverage and the environment are all excellent, but what ends up setting this place apart are the people, their passion, delight and energy for what they do is palpable and infectious. Chayse (front of house) and Blayne (Chef) did an amazing job. I genuinely looked forward to Chayse serving us another dish or wine and hearing the passion and love that went into everything. This was also true for the other staff as well (all of which made the experience wonderful, I just don't remember their names, but they are amazing) We spent the night trying to find new superlatives for this place, its food, its beverages and staff, when you run out of superlatives you just have to say O.MY! We will be back ... soon I hope!
For a lack of a better word, Wow! Chayse & Blayne have created a dining encounter that my partner and I couldn't fault. We arrived 25 mins late to our 6pm booking, due to peak hour traffic etc and yet we were still warmly greeted with smiles all round from the Chayse at the door and others as we made our way to our table. Due to the length of commute I had hoped the other google reviews were accurate about this restaurant - luckily for us, the 4.9/5 is on the money. The 12 course degustation style menu was structured beautifully. From snacks, to proteins and deserts - the flavours achieved and techniques executed were sublime. The care and thoughtfulness each staff member take in dealing directly with the diners is to be admired. The descriptions of each dish was thorough and you definitely observe the passion the chefs have for the dishes they're creating and serving. The light banter with the various other staff was entertaining and genuine. We're now well aware the 1000 odd zucchinis that their own self-sustainable farm is keeping them stocked with, so much so that we were sent home with a bag. For us, as diners, hearing of the details and stories about the food establishment we're visiting and the people involved gives more depth to the whole involvement and experience. You can feel the love ha-ha. Whether it's free farm grown veggies, or bringing a strawberry gum leaf to the table to crumble up in our hands or even a little chocolate brownie happy bday treat for my partners special day - all the small things really add up to a unique and memorable dinner. Hard to sum it up into words but highly recommended and well done to you all.

I took my girlfriend to O.MY for an early Valentines Day and we were left speechless by the end of the night. The food was absolutely amazing. All of the dishes were perfectly balanced and full of unbelievable flavours that had us praising each meal as we finished it. The service was especially impressive with all of the waiters being super knowledgeable about all of the food and drinks they were putting in front of us. As well as outlining the special work they're doing in keeping everything as sustainable as possible. We also had good chats with the staff in between meals about a range of different topics aside from food which really made you feel like you were in a chill and relaxed environment as opposed to other fine dining restaurants. A great sense of humour helped with that too! The O.MY chefs and staff didn't put a foot wrong all night and my partner and I were both super happy with our experience. We'll definitely be revisiting again and will also be recommending to everyone we can! Thanks for a great night guys!

Came here for our wedding anniversary. The food is incredible. Every course was served and we were told about how it was all grown and given a lot of detail. Even the drinks were described to us in detail. You could feel the absolute love that goes into the food and into this place by the team. They were great with allergies. We told them in advanced about my allergies and they catered to it which I was impressed about. The staff made us feel warm and welcome. The food is a delight and the atmosphere was one we won't forget. What an amazing experience.

My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary. It was honestly more so much for then going out for dinner, it was an experience! The staff were so professional but also laid back and friendly. They told us so much about their work and you could just tell how passionate they are about what they do. They were full of knowledge and enthusiasm. The food was amazing, we loved every dish and the sourdough bread was incredible! My husband had the non alcoholic pairing drinks and every single drink was homemade, we were so impressed. They are so creative and so talented. We were given a beautiful printed menu at the end so we could remember what we had, such a lovely touch. Thank you to the staff at O My for a wonderful night we will never forget!

There are not enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe the dining experience at O.MY... From the amazing and attentive wait staff, who clearly love what they do, through to the incredibly talented pair of Bertoncello brothers who inject passion and creativity into every glass of wine and every dish that departs the kitchen, the meal is a feast for the eyes, the stomach and the soul. The singular principle of garden-to-plate guides everything that occurs during O.MY dining, and with the change of months and seasons, the menu will change according to the produce that is most abundant and ripe at that moment. We had the most inspired and delightful journey of discovery during the entire meal. Thank you Blayne and Chayse, and to all your wonderful staff. We really look forward to dining in your establishment again!
I’d prefer to give no stars. I am SO disappointed to hear have you have rejected a $200 voucher that was purchased by a terminally ill daughter for her parents. The voucher was just over a year overdue and you chose not to honour it AND your customer service skills in dealing with this family was very rude. You have lost many customers over the way this has been handled. DO BETTER. edited to add: The family didn't 'employ me' to leave a review, your bad customer service prompted me to leave this review. Poor customer service is still poor customer service regardless of when it happened. And if you had any idea of how grief works you'd have honoured the voucher and gained new customers through positive word of mouth. If this is how you treat a grieving family I think you need to undergo sensitivity training.
This place is an absolute gem! Super impressed by the food and service. Really friendly and chilled vibe there. All of the veggies used in the dishes are grown locally on their farm. Staff are super friendly and attentive and knowledgeable! We’ve been to a few fine dining restaurants, but this one is THE BEST! The dishes are well designed and tested out. So many contrasting yet harmonious combinations of different ingredients in their dishes. So satisfying! Would definitely recommend!

Visited in April 2022 and tried the degustation ($190 at the time). It was just excellent food and the most amazing service. The menu was very vegetable forward but it was showcased so well. That pie we had was ridiculously good. The sourdough was the gift that kept on giving and we ate it with nearly every course to mop up the delicious sauces. We had such a great experience and would highly recommend this place!

O.MY, what a wonderful night!! Covid compromised our 1st reservation, a kitchen fire put our 2nd booking up in flames...but finally, 3rd time lucky we made it to O.MY for a sensational degustation experience. The interior of their new location is modern, soft lit with great acoustics making it feel as though we were the only four guests in the room. The service was exceptional and each course reflected the season and highlighted the house-grown farm produce. Such beautiful presentation and plating techniques. Looking forward to visiting again for the Autumn menu.
Truely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Staff were extremely attentive, charming and took pride in their work, they were brilliant. The dishes were incredible, impeccably presented and perfectly balanced. The serving sizes were substantial and we did not leave hungry. The restaurant and environment was warm, welcoming and relaxed. It almost felt like being at a dinner party with friends. This was honestly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.

The owners take pride in the quality of ingredients and find unique ways of showcasing them. It was a very good dining experience, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was sensational, although the menu was light on meat dishes. The dessert showcasing various textures of sourdough (e.g. sourdough emulsion, sourdough ice cream, sourdough crumb) was amazing. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I had an amazing time here. It’s a very intimate setting (<10 tables I would guess), and everyone is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the food and drinks. We’d highly recommend the non-alcoholic pairing which was a standout for us, you’ll get to try juices / teas/ sodas that you can’t find elsewhere. Will definitely be back in another season to see what they do with summer veg :)

My second time in O.My I was too impressive when I came here last year, the only dish I was not satisfied was the beef. This time the beef dish still the only one I really could not enjoy that much, especially the super dry paichaoi on the side… the other things were ok but so so for me only the zuzucchini dish I really liked. the price was increased, but the experience was decreased compare with one year ago the first time I tried was 4.5 stars, this time I think 3 stars experience
A sublime experience! Best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The service was warm, friendly & professional. From being seated to the time we left we were treated as valued patrons. All courses were presented and explained with care & pride. The taste experience of each dish was exceptional. In the many years I’ve been dining out I’ve never had such beautiful food. Kudos to all the staff at O.My!

Service is exceptional, warm, inviting, we left feeling that we were part of the O.MY family. Just an all round perfect experience, we can't wait to return.

I’m so impressed. Meticulous planning and preparation and oh so personable and passionate service. Delicious food - the kohlrabi chip dish was a standout. Brilliant wine matching. O.My is by far the best fine dining restaurant we’ve ever been too. It was fun, professional, delicious, generous, unique just to choose a few adjectives. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. A wonderful dining experience. Took my wife to O My for her birthday dinner and really impressed - really like the sustainability of O My and its owners and managers - you can tell how passionate they are about zero waste, home growing all their ingredients and really making use of the land. An ever changing menu and it was a great culinary adventure. Highly recommended!
Fine dining with a homely feel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Foodstuff and plating was really cared about and carefully put together. We came for a special occasion and had a blast. The wine and non-alcoholic pairings weren't bad at all. Our favourite dish was the Jerusalem artichoke done 4 ways. Amazing texture and flavors!! Happy to eat that for days!!
What an experience! We went in and this is probably by far the best degustation we have had. Might be on the pricey side but definitely well worth it. We didn't want for more and was left sufficiently fed and amazed. The food did not disappoint and so did the service.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and was very surprised! 98% of the dishes were veggies, but they were extremely delicious (coming from a carnivore!). The dishes were creative and home grown in their farm. Our favourite dish by far was the Jerusalem artichoke with pumpkin and beef! Will definitely be back to sample next season's dishes!

The O.MY is for OMG. Menu was to die for with paddock to plate degustation. The last time I was booked they had a fire literally a couple of days earlier. Great to see they are back in business post COVID-19 and post fire.
