I recently stopped into Oasis Flower Shop, 2002 Kensington Road in search of a nice arrangement for a good friend of mine. Upon entering the shop, it was clear that I had made the right choice. It has a great atmosphere, clean and inviting. I immediately felt very welcome. I was warmly greeted by one of the specialists, Kerri, who made what I may have found to be an overwhelming experience an absolute pleasure. I briefly explained what I was looking for but that I (like most men) also had no idea about what I was doing. She accompanied me to the cooler which showcased many stunning arrangements. Not only were they impressive, but each was marked clearly with the cost thus eliminating any guesswork. As we discussed some of my options, Kerri asked me a few questions, and then, more importantly, she listened. She was very patient, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. She told me that she had a pretty good idea of what she would put together, so I decided it best to give her creative control and let the artist assemble the masterpiece. I indicated my price range, and I was set. She was even kind enough to take the time to fill out my card as I would’ve probably gone through five of them with my horrendous printing, lol. My friend received her delivery the next day, and she absolutely LOVED it! She sent me a pic of the arrangement which was more beautiful than I expected! The flowers were amazing! We both couldn’t have been happier. Great staff, beautiful flowers at an awesome price..thank you, Sheryl (owner) and Kerri. I will definitely stop in the next time I’m in town again.

I had a very unfavourable experience with this florist. It seems like they have too much business and don’t need anymore. I will definitely not be recommending or using in the future. It is true that my name is not in your database. I’ve been making an effort to support as many local businesses as possible. I’ve been ordering from Kensington Florists but thought I would try you guys as well. I did not order from you based on the brief conversation we had. I suppose there are 2 sides to every story but in my opinion my attitude only changed after being spoken down to by the person answering the phone. I had several questions regarding certain flowers that I read were appropriate for Lunar New Year. I am not a flower expert you are. I asked about Peonies. You responded abruptly that they are not in season. I asked about Narcissus & you responded curtly that Narcissus is actually not a flower but there are many flowers in that family so what exactly are you looking for. I explained that I am not a flower expert & that I am reading online trying to find the appropriate flower. I asked if delivery was possible that day or the next & your response was again condescending regarding it being Valentine’s weekend. Based on your condescending tone I then apologized & said I would try another florist. You then abruptly hung up on me. So this review is not based on having a bad customer experience because I never became a customer. I also wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day.

UPDATE March 2022 Despite the Covid pandemic, this shop never closed! I bought flowers there again today to celebrate my beautiful daughter-in-law's birthday. The flowers are beautiful and made even more spectacular by a fabulous designer and Sheryl's know-how. You simply can't go wrong if you are looking for a plant, a posy, an arrangement of flowers, or a small sculpture gift. Such a great feeling to to know my gift of flowers will be perfect. Thanks you Sheryl I have a bouquet of flowers that given to me on December 24. They are as fresh and beautiful as they were at the flower shop. I have been a customer of Oasis for several years and will shop only at Sheryl’s shop for flowers. Service and friendliness is included and nothing is too much She has weathered the past year because she has quality products and service. A five star local business

My daughter asked me to pick some flowers up on my way to hospital for her grandfather. She lives on a budget so we had to keep it around $30. I stopped at the closest flower shop and their least expensive small bouquet was $120 and that was on sale! I looked up another flower shop in Kensington area. Hesitantly I stopped in, not only did the lovely lady understand, and worked with me to make a beautiful bouquet (with vase) for my daughters budget. She was so helpful, I didn’t even realize certain flowers are not permitted in hospitals because of their scents. I will be recommending them and using them again

Oasis did bridal, matron of honour snd junior bridesmaid bouquets for our wedding on Sept 3 2023 and boutineers and corsages. The flowers were simply outstanding and received lots of compliments throughout the day. When Sheryl asked about the type of bridal bouquet I wanted I gave very little info except that I would like a natural trailing bouquet with some purple and to feel free to use flowers in season and be creative . It was stunning. For years, Oasis has been my “ go to” shop for flowers and will continue to be. Sending a huge and sincere “ thank you “ !! With gratitude — Dorothy

I stopped into Oasis because the flower shop I usually go to in my neighbourhood was closed early. Had an errand to run in the northwest, googled "flower shops near me" and somehow all of them were closed early, except this little shop on Kensington Road. It was lovely! Excellent options for arrangements and superior service from the second I walked in. It's not the closest to me, but I after this experience, I will go out of my way to buy all of my future flower arrangements here! Thank you for being excellent in this not so excellent time!

Now this is a flower shop! The people here are experienced, well trained in customer service and their prices match what you are getting! Spent a pretty penny but the quality matches the price! No dead/browning leaves, no mold, and they seem to last a decent amount of time. If you are looking to ask questions and have a real conversation without feeling looked down upon this is your place! They don't rush you even if it's busy. The atmosphere and customer service is spot on. Highly recommend!

We received what was hands down the nicest bouquet we'd seen, from a friend who bought here. Accordingly, yesterday I bought a bouquet for my mother here for her birthday, and have just received a note from my dad saying it's the nicest one he's seen. To my surprise after receiving the first one, the price was very reasonable. I'll sure be back.

Sheryl (the owner) and her team are absolutely incredible. She really hears what you want/need and creates it. It is very high calibre and their customer service excellence is unmatched. I have never had a client disappointed for going with my Oasis recommendation. BUT most importantly she is a wonderful person!

Oasis and Sheryl did the beautiful florals for my wedding! Sheryl was able to understand my vision, as well as provide her artistic eye to make my dreams come to reality! Sheryl also helped to work within my budget, and I felt like she always had my best interest in mind.

Had the best service! I bought flowers for my company Sugar Tree Cleaning to give out for Mother's Day 2016 - they were polite, helpful, and had everything ready for my employees to pick up - definitely using them again and again!
