We went here with friends. Immediately I was amazed by the size of this restaurant, it’s truly huge, but when we went on a Saturday night it wasn’t anywhere near capacity, so the atmosphere was…lacking. The seating arrangement is strange, they’re in clusters meaning you are very close to your dining neighbours but then there is vast open space in between clusters. We ordered an appetiser platter & a pizza. This was after a long read of the extremely long menu. The vastness of choice makes choosing difficult, but not in a good way When our food came it looked delicious The pizza was! The base was perfect & the toppings yummy & the right amount Unfortunately our platter wasn’t that good, most of the options appeared & tasted as though they were straight from a pack on the freezer & chucked in an air fryer, you know the kind of thing you throw together at home when you don’t have time & dont want to go to effort The staff were very friendly & attentive though so overall it was good, just not great

We went on a busy Wednesday night and we did book, but they "lost" our booking for a table of 10. We ended up sitting outside which was not our preferred seating but it was good they could at least fit us in. Then we waited for over 1hr for the food to come out. The food was really delish when it came which helped otherwise it would have been a terrible experience. The nice manager was very apologetic and offered us free drinks and desserts after to make up for losing the booking and the long wait. Which was nice but by that time most of us weren't really feeling like having more and mossies were starting to bite which was why we requested an inside table when we booked!!! But will return when it is not such a busy time and hopefully they don't lose our booking!!! Good food makes up for it!!

My go-to place for long lunches or catch up coffee with friends. Great food, wonderful service, easy accessible parking, extensive menu (the desserts are to die for). The staff (especially the owner) are lovely and friendly. Most comfortable seating I've ever had in a restaurant. Can't recommend highly enough!!!

Incredibly disappointing and uneventful evening tonight at Ora D’oro. We begun by having the Arancini balls and bruschetta as entrees. The arancini tasted flat and lacked any real flavour, it honestly tasted like they were frozen. The bruschetta was also quite tasteless and uninteresting. Our mains were equally disappointing having received the lasagne and the fruitti di mare pasta. The lasagne was very runny, bland and had no flavour either, whereas the squid in the pasta was undercooked and was quite raw on the inside. Our cutlery was dirty and had to send my spoon back as it had bits of chocolate caked on from a previous diner. Our waitress did not seem to be concerned. We unfortunately paid around $89 tonight on our meal that was left unfinished and safe to say we will not be coming back.

Back for more: Nov 2023 I love every dish we have tried each time. Food is delicious, well presented and service has been wonderful with these lovely ladies. This time it was a pasta dish and Caesar salad, followed by trifle and coffee yummy July2023: Italian cafe style food with wide spacious seating including outside verandah. Staff were friendly, quick and obliging. Enjoyed the lamb shanks - tender and falling off the bone; and lasagna. We finished off sharing a beautiful tiramisu

Awesome ambience. Bruschetta was great, also had a prosciutto brushetta which was even better. The beef ribs entree is to die for, beef just melted in the mouth. Lamb shanks melted off the bone with a delicious casserole flavor over mash with great selection of veggies. Canneloni was delicious. Owner was very passionate about what he had created and it certainly showed in the presentation and flavours of the food. Highly recommended. And if you dare the cake selection is endless. I had a slice of rocky road as well as tiramisu to take home. Both were spot on. We will be definitely back, to try the rest of the menu. 10/10. First time I've ever complimented a place this highly.

Cosy yet spacious cafe with heaps of choices in the menu. A place where you can hag out from breakfast to dinner and parking is not that hard. Friendly staff in general but can be improved further with others. One staff did not even say anything when she took our plates and cutlery. She must be new as she seems to not know what she’s doing and it’s forgivable when we went in, she even asked me to open the door for her as she took all the plates and glasses outside to bring in. Wonder what she could’ve done if we didn’t come in the same time as she did Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we want to try other drinks and food in the menu pet friendly as well

Been here 3x times so far after only recently discovering it after some of my clients recommended it to me. Love this place so much I brought my father here for my birthday celebration last month and he loved it too! LOVE the hot chocolate and my wife loves the iced chocolate with a scoop of ice cream - even the generous serve of 'bowl of chips' is cleaned up! Excellent vegetarian/vegan menu and the dessert cabinet has something for everyone - yet to be disappointed! Do yourself a favour and visit this excellent establishment.

This place is the last one on the strip of restaurants opposite the cinemas. There is plenty of parking available nearby the restaurant. The food we tried were all a hit. The chilli prawns were full of flavour and saucy rice was the perfect combo. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone, you get a lot of gravy with this one. The penne lamb ragu was good too, just needed a bit more salt but that's to an individual's preference. Overall, good food and warm environment, will be back for more!

Date/time of visit: 13 April 2022, 7:42pm. This was our second time ordering takeaway from Ora D'aro and on both occasions we've been happy with our orders. The first time the order included chicken parmigiana- excellent. This second visit we only got the meatball entree - very tasty meatballs and an excellent sauce; and we also got the meat lovers pizza - also excellent. Staff were friendly. Prices reflected the quality - excellent quality. Venue is large, spacious and with an outdoor diniing area. We'll have to dine in at some point.

Absolutely top tear parma, I'd say easily in my top 5 best in melbourne. People call me the parma consultant. And this is well put together. Perfect amount of cheese, homemade sauce is actually insanely good. Give me a tub if that, please. The chicken is thick and wide, at least probably 500g, maybe even more. Made with love and the service time was super quick. Keep it up.

It’s a very glamorous looking location for a local cafe and the service is friendly The menu is good I ordered the Chilli Scramble which was meant to have feta but I couldn’t see any and certainly had no chilli flavour just a sprinkle on the plate but it was tasty enough Only complaint would be the chipped milk jugs which personally I find distasteful and easily rectified by not serving these ones especially when the cafe was empty so alternate options must surely have been available

Great new Italian restaurant with quality of food better than many of the higher end Italian restaurants with pricing very reasonable. Raj the owner and team provide excellent service to all and he is such a nice and humble person, belies his experience with his other 3 business ventures and restaurants. The pizza dishes are great with the Chilli mussels dish as stand out dish. Worth a visit, my go to Italian restaurant from hereon

Enjoyed the friendly service and delicious food. Nice amenities and clean surrounds. Plenty of room inside and out for your dining experience. Really nice coffee topped off a great meal. Did I mention the great selection of menu items to suit most diets. Highly recommended to all.

Food was great but the service was very average. Waited too long for drinks then they only brought out one instead of two! Asked for plates when our entree came out and they never brought them, had to go and ask and food was cold by then.

This is a lovely place. Desserts are amazing, staff are friendly and quick. Coffee is decent. The environment is good. Very spacious and nice tables/design. I had the Caramel and Macadamia Cheescake and honestly, if I was not trying to lose weight, I would have had more. Definitely a great place for a coffee and dessert.

Yummy breakfast Full of flavor and right amount of food. Eggs cooked perfectly, chorizo had a great level of spicy and chili. Sumac around the plate added the visuals as well as the taste. Hash browns had a nice herb mix. Coffee was rich deep flavor but not overly strong. So had to have 2. Fresh orange juice was tangy

Really nice establishment, could spend hours there. Music is played at the right volume and very calming. View out to Croydon park is great to look at. Service is fantastic. Extremely clean and well kept with great decor. Excellent food as well.

Good matcha latte. Pulled pork pizza was okay, the base was rather wet which I assume was because of the cooked spinach. Would've tasted much better if the pizza was crisp. Sweet potato fries were good but a bit burnt.

We went here for lunch today - I had the Calamari Salad. The Calamari was fresh and tender. Spacious venue so you’re not worried about Covid Closeness. Handy location with good parking at the front of the restaurant

Excellent Italian restaurant. There was even an authentic Nona eating a meal at the table next to me, so you know the food must be good. Very classy and well priced.
