I was very pleased with the service offered by the owner when I called to request a bouquet of flowers for our 93 year old aunt. The owner was very honest that the previous days had been busy and so wouldn't be able to produce some of the arrangements that appeared on the website. However, she assured me that she could create a beautiful arrangement with what was available. Our cousin was delighted with the spectacular bouquet that arrived within a few hours and was particularly pleased with the addition of a little origami bird. We will definitely go back to this florist in future.

I am stunned. I was looking for a bouquet to give my new girlfriend, and based on the reviews I ended up here. After a 20-minute chat about flowers and life, I gave them my budget and told them to exercise their creativity. What I picked up five hours later exceeded my expectations by so much it was absurd. The only word for the arrangement is magnificent. The look of shocked delight in my girlfriend's eyes when she saw it was the final confirmation. Well done, and I will be returning!

When I called on June 15th to arrange flowers for my Mother’s funeral service on the 19th, I was informed the colour I wanted was not available but the florist said: “leave it to me. I’ll make them very nice for you!”. Being from out of town and never buying flowers there before I was nervous but decided to trust her and WOW did she ever make them nice! The vase of flowers and the beautiful spray that she arranged were SO gorgeous! She did an amazing job! Thank you very much!

I just took delivery of the most beautiful flower arrangement I have ever received. I have never seen such an assortment of flowers put together in such a way to draw me in and invite me to look at them over and over again. And the little origami crane discreetly tucked into the arrangement, so important to the Japanese culture, is a lovely and thoughtful touch. Simply WOW!!!! I know who my ‘go to’ florist will be from now on. It should be yours too!

I took a chance and called this florist from out of town to ask for a small arrangement to be delivered to cheer up my sister in hospital. A very short time later a spectacularly beautiful piece of floral art arrived at her room. We are so impressed by the quality, freshness, exoticism and design of the arrangement and the superb customer service of Machiko. She is a delight to talk to. The care and attention to detail exceeded any expectations. WOW!

This place is the absolute best place in Ottawa for flowers! The owner is so charming and knowledgeable and has never disappointed. The prices are competitive if not a bargain compared to other florists at her level. She wants to know the person who's recieving them so every bouquet and arrangment is tailor made. The flowers are exotic and never run of the mill gas station bouquets. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

Unbelievable!! I called instead of ordering online and told Mach I needed something special for my anniversary coming up... and she delivered. Mach had created a fantastic bouquet for my 10th anniversary... my wife was blown away and floored at the selection of flowers, style and creative way they were put together. I have been going to Machiko for years now for both small and larger arrangements. I will go nowhere else, EVER. The exceptional quality of flowers, artistry and love that goes into each design is astounding. She is one of a kind - a ray of phenomenally talented sunshine. I can't say enough about Ottawa Blooms. Called in the morning to have a sympathy arrangement delivered. We spoke of colours, price etc and 3 hours later the arrangement was delivered, and it was the most beautiful arrangement. You could tell a lot of heart and care was put in to putting it together.
