A brilliant range for lovers of all things alcoholic (and non-alcoholic for that matter). All staff members are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The drink selection here is hard to beat, particularly for those fond of the natural-leaning. But whether veering natural or not, this shop is all about flavour and you will rarely find something that isn't delicious, particularly with the ready assistance on offer from those running the store. If you're lucky enough to snare a ticket, masterclasses with Mike Bennie are also not to be missed. Great to be taken through interesting and often unusual drinks by someone who is clearly so passionate about what they do and has forgotten more about booze than most people ever learnt to begin with.

I booked to go to Porcine, I'm not really sure of the relationship between them. The guy serving at the counter was very upbeat, I asked for a recommendation for a smooth easy to drink Red. He very confidently picked a couple of options (approx. $55). The first option was undrinkable, the guy who opened it for us described it as "confronting"! He tried to soften it by decanting it. I complained. All the staff agreed the wine was "confronting". The French guy who seemed like the owner or manager was not in any way interested in my complaint and dismissed it. I bought another bottle for $57. We left most of it, it wasn't good.

Went into P&V to grab a bottle of wine for a nice dinner, they’re my usual go-to. I chose them over other bottle shops because they have a great range, and usually, knowledgeable and friendly staff. However, today I was not acknowledged in any capacity by the multiple staff there, only when presented with an eftpos machine: “tap here”. The staff did not break from their banter to say hi or assist me. As I waited at the counter, I got enough side-eye to feel like an imposition. I left the Enmore store feeling like an inconvenience, worse off than when I came in.

I grabbed a quick glass of wine on a busy Saturday afternoon. The terrace area was cozy, hip, and well-staffed. I loved how the by-the-glass offering was so easy to understand: easy white, fancy white, fun orange, complex orange, and so on. How refreshing! The store was also well-curated with not only edgy natural wines, but also a hall of fame section with great Aussie and international producers, as well as rare fine wines that you might not find elsewhere, such as Tyrrell’s Johnno’s. It was an impressive line-up!

Haven’t been able to check out the new shop yet, but can’t speak highly enough of the customer service that P&V offer! And how could you forget there awesome range of unique fun and funky wines! Definitely a go too when looking for the more unique drop! Huge shoutout to Lucas for helping pick some fun wines off the back of a quick chat today, while purchasing some other wines! Cute little bottle shop with a range of unique wines. The staff here are 10/10 - super friendly and knowledgeable and also very patient with us and our various questions. The aesthetic of the store is also very nice. It’s got a vintage sort of feel that is almost homely and comfortable, and authentic. There was also a back area which I think was for groups/ events (but I’m not too sure). Just based on the quality of the service and range of options, I’d definitely come back here!

Do we love P&V? Yes we do Wonderful range of artisan wines, sakes, spirits plus add- on bits and bobs from local makers such as pickles, cheese, olives and lotus chips. The staff are really friendly. Get on the mailing list to learn about their awesome workshops. All in support of the makers who love what they produce and who bring the patience to work with time, nature, proven techniques and low volume yields -- and for us who love to enjoy the results!

I've been here a number of times since P&V Wine + Liquor opened. The store fit out is very cool and the staff are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The range of natural wines and beers is very impressive and well suited to the demographic. This place certainly blends in well with what I think is one of the few remaining 'hippie' spots of Sydney. We need to protect this place at all costs!

I was waiting to try the wines before writing a review. This shop is everything i expected as a wine lover! The staff was really friendly and took the time to walk me through the wines and their process. There's some wine for everyone's taste and mood, and the 2 I bought were fantastic ! My friends and I really enjoyed every sip and since it's natural, no headache in the morning...

Probably one of the best retail experiences I’ve had this year. Came in wanting a tequila or mezcal that I’d never tried before and the sweetheart behind the counter knew every detail behind every bottle in stock. Left with an ASp Pechuga from black snake distillery. So so impressed with the products available and the whole experience. Can’t wait to get back to try some more.

These guys are the best!! Amazing customer service. When purchasing wine online for deliveries things can always go wrong in the proccess. Great bottle shop. These guys really know their wines and other drinks. Super friendly, deep knoweldge and a wide selection (this is not Dan's, its small runs of great product). A quick edit...last week we went to one of their wine appreciation classes for Orange wines (the style, not place). It was a great night and OMG the knowledge of the team!

This place has amazing customer service! The staff are always super friendly (especially the man with brown hair in a bun) and they are more than happy to answer any of your questions. They have so much knowledge to share and they always make sure you have the best experience possible. Definitely recommend stopping by here and grabbing some wine!

Signed up for the monthly subscription and came back for more and more. Their wines are awesome, really interesting and can't be found in your average shop. I've just let them be the guide and expanded into wines I would never have chosen myself. It's an awesome adventure. They are making drinking fun again... Oh, and the delivery is so quick!!!!

I visited for the first time last night, I was astounded by the amazing selection in the store and the knowledge of the staff. I needed as sulfate free vegan wine and was given a plethora of options! The lady working there offered me a tasting and helped me narrow down the selection. Will definitely return! Keep up the amazing work :)

Made a last minute gift purchase for same day delivery, failed to put in the right address, got a call to check it, and they were so accommodating about my error (thanks Josh, and team!). Best wine shop. Lovely and interesting options. All natural wines and other spirits including a small range of craft beer. None of that boring stuff you see everywhere else. Staff are super lovely and friendly and are happy to spend time offering advice and recommendations within any budget. Worth a browse!

Great range of wines. The beer selection is lacklustre, a couple of shelves at most with some very standard stuff like Grifter and Young Henry's. There is an entire fridge with good Wildflower stuff, but considering you could just walk up to Wildflower and buy it cheaper it's not a massive selling point.

I bought the beer mystery box today online. The order was placed around 12 and delivered by 3pm with awesome service!! I’ve grabbed natural wines from their store at Newtown before sometimes, the range of wines and beers selection was very impressive and service are always accommodating!

I am editing my initial 5 star review. The wine selection is interesting, but after several visits I noticed a serious problem with the staff. They can be quite aggressive and dismissive. A real shame... The place had everything to be a true Newtown gem... Will not return...
