Put Liz's Micra in for MOT and service on a Frday ...160 sods..reasonable we thought. Work needed to pass the MOT... Gave Panalex the nod to rectify what was wrong bringing the total to a smidgen over 300..again happy with that. Picked the car up 'bout 5pm and Liz drove it the 4 odd miles home instead of the 15 miles to pick up our daughter as I offered to charity taxi which would allow me to fill my van with fuel. 8 O'clock that evening horrified to see fluid coming from under the Micra and running down our sloped drive. Upon closer inspection it was obvious that the fluid was fresh engine oil and upon popping the bonnet I saw the engine and bonnet covered with oil...pooling in places it could not escape and sitting next to the oil filler inlet was the cap ..not replaced. Could not get hold of Panalex as shut the whole weekend so all plans cancelled for Liz. Monday phoned Panalex and the car was returned to them after I bought some more oil and topped up....the measure was on the minimum. This required Liz to take the day off work as it is a car essential job. Mike who seemed to me to be the head honcho down at Panalex admitted that it was himself that had left the cap off coming out with trite excuses about being distracted etal. Left the car with them ..phone call about 4.30 to collect the car. Mike stood there..keys dangling from his outstretched hand..done he said ..steam cleaned and washed and then turned as if to go back into the garage. I stopped him and explained again about the wrecked plans ..the oil on my drive..the oil I had to buy ! ..Liz taking the day off. The inconvenience of it all. His response ? Oh, we'll send someone round in a couple of days to look at your drive ! Before I lost my cool totally and my head well and truly up my backside I just left making a point of checking if the oil cap had been replaced...Sorry about it being long winded but this is my experience with this garage. Had Liz travelled to collect Rachel the ending could have had a totally different outcome. Quite happy to take your money but customer service ..zilch. Ah well, you live and learn. Broke down on M32. Towed to Panalex by RAC over August Bank Holiday weekend. Before 10.00 on Tuesday, they had confirmed the RAC thoughts on what was wrong and Grace in the Office gave me a figure for fixing. Their charges were only just above those of my local garage in Cornwall who I have used for over 50 years and from whom i get good prices so I was impressed. Not only that, but Mike said he would try and pull all the stops out to get me on the road that day so we could continue our onward journey and get on with our holiday. Grace kept me informed throughout the day of the ongoing repair. Job was completed before 3.30pm and we were on our way by 4.00pm. Really impressed Mike. Car driving lovely, thank you

Car was kept for 4 weeks and when it was finally returned it had scratches on the bodywork and new issues and rattling. When I went to raise the issue I was told by the receptionist that “that she wasn’t meant to be working that day and can I call back next week!”…imagine getting your car back 4 weeks later , £300 more expensive , with scratches and new issues which happened in their care….to be told, it’s not convenient to complain today, call back another day…. ➡️ USE A LOCAL COMPETITOR FOR PEACE OF MIND!

I was really disappointed at the way my breakdown was handled. I broke down, calling the RAC who recovered my vehicle taking it to this garage. This was an emergency, and my vehicle was unable to move, and I needed it to get home, but I was told it wouldn't even be looked at for a few days. As well as this, I was told by the receptionist that my car would need to be booked in for a stripping of the car in January, and then the repairs would need to be done. Realistically, I wouldn't get my car back until mid January at the earliest. There is no way this garage can be RAC approved, how can an emergency breakdown take two months to diagnose and repair? Absolutely ridiculous.

Best experience with a garage I've ever had! My car was towed here after breaking down and I could not have asked for a kinder helpful and friendly team. Mike and his team did everything to help me in a stressful time and they are so trustworthy unlike a lot of places nowadays. I ended up selling my car privately and the garage charged me nothing, I couldn't believe it! I am not local to this garage but would take my car here as I've never had such a nice experience with a garage. I thank my lucky stars my car got towed to Mike. Thank you guys!

Very trustworthy garage, which is why we have used them time and time again for over car over the years. They thorughly assess any problem and only do work if absolutely necessary, with a full and detialed explanation of why something needs to be done. All works have always been done quickly, in a timely manner and we have always come away happy and confident with the work done. Would gladly recommend Panalex over and over again (and have already done so)!!

First time there and certainty won't be the last what a fantastic garage! The people there were so welcoming service was excellent and nothing was a trouble for them to do! Being a young female i always get nervous in garages as some do take the mick but these people do not they gave fantastic service! Definitely recommend!!!! Brilliantly priced too!!!! My car was towed to Panalex garage by the RAC after my catalytic converter was stolen. It was a highly worrying and stressful time for me but the team at Panalex did all they could to help put it right. The are so amazing, caring and thoughtful! I will be coming to these guys with all car work from now on. They are a great family and it shows in all they do.

Have used Panalex to service and MOT my BMW for the last 7 years. They are absolutely great. Quality work, value for money, and really friendly staff - you always know exactly what work they are doing. Nick also fixed the loose handbrake and stupid wiring loom by boot hinge(known E60 issues) without a fuss. I thoroughly recommend these guys.

The staff at Panalex were professional, friendly and helpful without exception and fixed the fault at no extra cost. Terrible, took my car for mot and failed on multiple things it then cost me £800 to fix everything taking multiple weeks, day after I got my car back multiple stuff went wrong and panalex took none of the blame, would not recommend
