Everyone from reception to the vets have been amazing with both of our dogs. We came to attend PVCR after we took our 17 year old staffy to another vet who failed to examine him correctly and told us it was just old age to bring him back an euthanise him the following day. That evening I discovered a large nasty hard red lump on his belly. We decided to take him to PVCR for a better assessment! Dr Jodie was fantastic, she did a proper examination and identified the lump as an infection. After some anti inflams and antibiotics, in a few days we had our boy back to his normal healthy self. A couple of months later we took Noah, our 11 year old rescue Great Dane x Mastiff for a general check up after some exiting lumps has gotten bigger. Again, Dr Jodie was great and determined they were fine with the exception of one. We discussed the next steps and sent a sample to pathology. The news wasn’t great and we were provided with some options & chose to operate. This is when we met Dr Ben Porter who was equally amazing and performed the surgery. He rang me afterwards and gave me a detailed update. Even the vet who removed Noah’s stitches was brilliant. Both Jodie and Ben have a special way with animals. So calming & nurturing. Everyone is so lovely and we are always welcomed with a smile. I feel bad that I can’t recall everyone’s names. I think I have spoken with Jess about aftercare on both occasions and she was great too. I cannot recommend PVCR enough. Oh and pricing is very reasonable as well.

The emphasis at this establishment is totally directed toward the health, comfort and well-being of the patient and their families. Our German Shepard dislikes going to the Vet however the Vets and clinical staff are always there to support, calm and help to sooth the experience for our boy when he needs to attend. We have always been impressed with the care and due diligence shown to our pup and it is an enormous ‘peace of mind’ having these dedicated and genuine animal lovers as part of our community. The reception staff are always welcoming, friendly and even process our pet insurance claims directly for us, which is of great value. We recommend these dedicated, caring and professional clinicians for any pet health maintenance or concerns.

I am in absolute awe of the service I have received with not only for male kitten Mitsuki but also my new female kitten Moana! I have always been greeted with a friendly smile and the support I received for my new kitten Mitsuki who I took into peninsula vet care was incredible, I would like to thank Ben and all the staff that were there who stayed overtime to care for Moana and gave her the attention she was urgently needing. You have honestly outdone yourselves in every way , you did not need to do this but the care you showed for myself and my beautiful girl Moana showed exactly why you are the best Vet To go to bevause you care for your customers and fur patients ❤️ Well done to all of you ! We have been taking our pets here since we moved back to Victoria 10 years ago. First we had Milo and Misty. Milo lived to 15 and in the end was deaf and had had one eye removed. Upon his passing the surgery and all concerned were extremely understanding and compassionate. Misty lived till 14 and thanks to the help of Dr Ben, she lived an extra 12 mths of quality life that she wasn't supposed to. Now 18mths later (after saying we wouldn't get another dog ) we have little Mikey. Luckily he will have the same caring and professional attention from this practice. My sincere thanks to Dr Ben and Wendy in reception.

Unfortunately after initially having a great experience my next one was horrible, No real greeting gold told to weigh him immediately after I was quite rudely and snappily told that NO the payment method I have been using (CentrePay) will NOT be accepted despite the 1st shot was successfully being paid for with no issue and told My Boy could not receive his second shot unless I produced cash/eftpos immediately which I could not do I left feeling embarrassed and still not yet able to get this. Horribly Dissapointed In the behaviour and lack of compassion.

Brilliant! We are fairly new to the area so Googled a local vet when we had an emergency concerning our dog, and are so grateful we went here. We will be customers for life. They were able to fit us in immediately and showed such compassion and genuine care. We are so grateful for the advice received as well as the solutions based attitude of getting to the bottom of our dogs ailment. Ben who treated our dog is a wonderful vet who went above and beyond for our dog, we really can't recommend this place enough.

I find that all the vets and nurses have been very professional and understanding from having to say goodbye to our beautiful old staffy last year to getting help with my cat being diagnosed with diabetes and finding out that he REALLY doesnt like the vet!! Hopefully all the bites and scratches have healed up by now! but if you are looking for someone that will do everything they can to look after your furry family member then I would definitely recommend coming here!

Amber means the absolute World to us. There is something wrong with her, that is difficult to pinpoint and we couldn’t be in better hands. Ben has explained the various possibilities (some quite complex) and has commenced a “process of elimination”. We are so fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and capable Veterinarian helping us through this rather worrying time. I just spent 130 dollars on ear drops and searched the exact ingredients when I got home and could buy the same ones for 15.99. My old vet before I moved would write the names of the medicines down and charge for a consultation, especially if they said they had issues with money this week. Not here, I stated I had a hundred dollars to spend really so he made it $130, knowing that you paid probably less than $15. I can't believe someone could do that.

After rushing in with our sick lizard, these guys noticed straight away that there wasn't much they could do but they did know a place that could give him the best care and recommended that we do.so ASAP. Unfortunalty he didnt pull through, but I am forever grateful to know that there are people who are so amazing, caring and passionate about animals and there well being. Thank you for providing such a welcoming and supportive centre for our animals.

I have been taking my furbabies to Rosebud Veterinary Hospital for many years and think the team of dedicated Vets and Nurses are wonderful and very caring Professionals who treat their Patients and their Pawrents with respect and compassion and humour where applicable !!!...but most importantly my beloved furbabies love going ...even Anastasia the cat who can be a bit prescious at times !!!... My dog buddy was attacked by another dog and hurt badly Peninsula Vet Care were so great while treating him they were kind and affectionate towards him yes it cost lots but so happy with the care he was given not the first time he has been treated by him with serious injury as he got hit by a car a few years ago and they gave him great care the reception staff are also extremely caring and friendly and they listen and helpful

Since moving to the Mornington Peninsula 14 years ago, our fur babies have been ably and lovingly cared for by the team a Peninsula Vet in Boneo Rd. There have been some serious issues that though time consuming and baffling, were dealt with in a very sensitive, patient and eventual successful manner. Could not recommend Peninsula Vet highly enough. If only it was that easy to find a human physician!

Me and my Partner brought a puppy almost 6months ago so we wanted the best care for her being our first pet together. Every appointment we’ve had for our little girl Heidi has been amazing. Whilst the diagnosis was not what I expected (nor hoped for), we could not have been in better hands. The Nursing Staff & Vets at this Animal Hospital are all amazing looking after all kinds of animals. My dog had surgery on the 18th of March of this year 2020, I would recommend this place for all the Care they are giving.

The care and compassion shown to me by all staff, in particular Jodi the vet, is wonderful. To be telephoned TWICE by the vet to check on my pet's condition after a terminal diagnosis is unprecedented. Fantastic people.
