Sadly you gave to pick a rating to write something. I was very distressed on March 18th when I went to buy food and a toy to see the resident Persian cat shaved like a poodle with shaver burns in at least three places on his body. I told the Manager or owner and the male employee. The employee goes oh the other store cat did that. It is obvious it's razor burn which hurts like Hell. The other guy said he wasn't co-operation today ? You think ? I was disgusted. I spend a fair bit at this store and would not let their groomer near my dog much less a cat. I will go to the Grant Park Store where they don't lie about the obvious and will let the Humane Society know as well. I was very sad for the poor thing to have his legs and tail bobbed to look like a "lion" when he looked like a bad poodle cut was bad enough but to blame it on the other cat and just pass it off pissed me off. I do not have a pet at this moment in my life, however I used to shop at Pet Value all the time. They carry a wide range of products for house pets of all sorts. I especially like that they brought in the wheat free dog and cat dry & wet foods. I refuse to feed any pet foods that are chemically induced or filled with fillers, that will cause diabetes in animals. They're great for cat litters as well since they started carrying clay free litters, like wheat and bamboo litter. More environmentally friendly, less ammonia smell and better for all cats! Reasonably priced too. Love the staff and love seeing the cats that are up for adoption! Cuties all of them!

I have nothing nice to say about this pet valu location. Every time I’ve been in there it’s a bad experience. The staff is so unfriendly and rude it’s unbelievable. Very unprofessional,... clean up your act people. I used to go there and buy cat litter but not anymore. I don’t enjoy their abrupt comments and hanging faces. Or when you walk in and say hello they hardly if ever say hello back to you. Good grief what a place If I could give a 0 star rating I would. 1 star is way too much.

Every time I come into this location, ( which is about 2 or more times a month), it is not pleasant. It is clear that these ladies do NOT like their jobs. And really who does, but most of us fake it. Whereas here, they let it show. From now on I will be going somewhere else to get my fur babies their dinner. Have a wonderful day everyone!! Oh, there is ONE young lady that works there, she’s very nice. And yes, I have told her that before.

Very bad experience today! Staff very rude! When asked who the manager was told by “ associate manager “ not allowed to give name or next time in store . I would like to have a serious conversation with the person who runs that store! Maybe time to monitor staff.. Thin redhead very, very, rude to me today! Then the associate manager laughed at me! I would suggest people think twice about shopping there!

I love going here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They recognize me know that I'm a regular and say hi. The atmosphere is great and there is always a cat up for adoption from a local shelter and folks can bring in their pets while they shop. The pet valu brand food is incredibly healthy and has been helpful in maintaining our cats health.

Out of all the Pet Valu's I have purchased from, I have to say I was not impressed with this store. Every other store asks if you would like assistance to your car with heavy items. Not this one. Will not be back. Also biught Performatrin dog food which I should have a received a credit for the rewards program and was not asked for any info.

The supervisor here (her name starts with a T, don't remember) is honestly so rude. Completely inappropriate in the way she talks to her staff in front of the customers. It's not a good look, and it makes for a very uncomfortable shopping experience, thankfully there are a lot of similar shops in that part of town.

The staff here is incredibly helpful, friendly, and know thief stuff. Pricing has always been good, and I've fed their own food, Performatrin to my cat for 11 years and she's been healthy as an ox. This is also one of the more fun locations, as they often have cats and dogs running around the store!

Attendant i spoke to clearly explained about how the pumpkin soup would work for my kitten's soft poo. After a day poo getting formed..just want to share this because she was so nice and patient explaining everything to me. Thanks again(sad to say didnt get her name).

Oh it's really amazing experience. One time my dog had a stomach flue i bring it in his name is Adanac he was very ill and they took care of him the next day i know he was energized! Thanks to the staff whi work well with him! Appreciate you guys!

Been going to this location for years! Ron is unbelievably great, as well as the rest of the staff are very helpful and know their stuff. They genuinely care about you and your pet/s. Highly recommend checking them out for all your pet needs.

Pet valu had been my go to store when it comes to dog foods and other grooming products. They carry the dog food brand that my dogs like, Orijen, as well as their favorite treat, Ultra Dry liver. The staffs are very helpful and friendly.

i go there once in a while.their staff aren't so friendly..they wouldnt even assist me or offer some help unlike the previous girls that worked there in the past .i guess they had a bad day, they can't even smile behind their masks..

The staff at the McPhillips location are always caring and helpful. We buy a specific type of dog food because one of our dogs has a sensitivity, and you can pretty much count on the variety we need to be in stock all the time.

I love coming here to use the pet wash station. Staff have always been friendly and quick to help set things up. They provide everything you may need (shampoo, towels, apron, elevated tubs and blow dryers)

Cat food selection is poor, they are not carrying a good selection of high quality foods. The selection of ferret stuff is getting extremely low, making it very difficult for ferret owners ro get product.
