Grooming center has horrible customer service! There were plenty of workers to check in my dog, however the young boy sitting at a computer couldn’t seem to help me nor the two girls walking around either. Not like any pets were being trimmed as all the tables were empty. Despite having my hands full with a toddler and two dogs (one with extreme anxiety), the line continues to build in the front as no one can check anyone in. Not even a fire extinguisher falling on my toddler’s head makes them move any faster. This extinguisher is not attached to anything but a mere single hook that can’t be bigger than half an inch, if that. Those you with small dogs could easily have a your animal seriously injured or killed by accidentally bumping into it. I guess if it wasn’t so crowded this wouldn’t have been a problem. Should I mention the trim my dog is to receive? Apparently they have no ability to remove mats from my dogs fur. So I assume I will be picking up an animal completely shaved. That’s funny because I am certain they have de-matting tools on their shelves. Regardless, my expectations aren’t very high and DO NOT recommend their grooming services to anyone!! Enter at your risk!

Always great service. Employees are always helpful and friendly. The only problem I run into is often certain specialty items are out of stock. Other customers need to understand that they do carry out service to customers parked, that ordered online. One time I was at the register and the guy asked if I could wait a moment so he could run out a bag. I said sure. So I do an online order and I wait 15-20 min before I just go in to find my order. (I am handicapped and often it’s hard for me to walk) I walk up to the register and ask if that bag was mine and tell the girl I’ve been waiting for a while. Then the grouchy lady in line fusses that she’s got to get back to work. Hopefully by now they have a better system down for bringing out online orders to minimize waiting during busy times. Overall I recommend this location. I’ve been going there for years and never had an issue.

Worst experience ever. Went to drop off my dog who is already nervous about the trip. When at the counter the groomer decided my dog was a different breed which brought the cost up by $20 she then said so his groomer has to be paid for the appropriate time like they get payed by haircut and not hourly. Come to find out she was the groomer that was supposed to groom him so now it sounds shady that you want more money for cutting my dog. At the end after all this and me saying fine he needs a hair cut and we are here just do she then said I don't feel comfortable cutting his hair anymore. So if your going to use them don't use the groomer Victoria and the manager John who decided it was ok for her to charge me more needs to be trained better. He even saw in the system that all his previous hair cuts were 36 but since she wants to charge us 52 Its ok by him. Horrible service!!

Bad vibes ...very chaotic and unorganized despite me calling to confirm appointmentfor for 4 dogs. Used them before definitely a different experience this time. Either new staff or poorly trained staff. I was left holding may dog no staff to inspect or take into kennel...told due to computers being down and the groomer not present I would have to wait in car til 1230 my appointment time and I had come 1150...I ended up canceling...concerned about the quality and for the care and safety of pets main reason. Their customer service needs work and easier intake process if computers go down would be my recommendations....

I'd say that if you buy fish here, you'll be questioned hard. I'm feeling really down after purchasing fish from here. When I went there today, the majority of the staff came together and gave us their best disappointed looks. They don't even know your tank, and after deciding which fish to take, their interest in you goes to zero, and they give you their frustrated face. There, my brother and I felt truly unwelcome. In particular, the tall, bearded man in charge of the fish section will immediately conclude that you are a lousy fish keeper. I don't usually review anything, but this one really tested me.

This is a much smaller location than I'm familiar with. There were two lovely beta fish that looked nearly dead sitting in the back of the store. They were not close to the aquatics section at all. The rest of the aquatic section did have an attendant, but she seemed overwhelmed and it was a very slow weekday. The single cashier did greet us as we walked in the door, however, there was a very long line waiting to pay. The store was otherwise not crowded and it was a slow time during the week. This should not have been the case. Very poorly run store. I blame the management. Not those two employees.

Wouldn't sell me a 25 cent FEEDER FISH unless I said I had a 32 gallon tank to keep them in. Meanwhile they have 400 of them in a 5 gallon tank, but I'm the inhumane one. The whole experience was rude and unprofessional. I asked the associate standing right next to the gold fish for help buying a fish. She asked me about where I was putting them like small talk and then, without saying anything to me, she called over a manager to inform me they can't sell them to me because my enclosure is not humane enough for FEEDER FISH. I bet I'd need a half acre of land if I wanted to buy crickets.

I don’t leave reviews very often but the grooming department needs an attitude adjustment. All groomers there are extremely unhappy and unfriendly. They do not greet you or make you feel unwelcome. Everything they’ve asked of me I complied. My dogs are elderly and they charge the express service, which is fine. I have to pick them up immediately after grooming, I’m there within 10-15 min. I even tipped each groomer. However, no change in attitude. Not a “thank you” or “have a nice day.” Extremely unprofessional and miserable people. I’m never coming back to this grooming salon

Amazing trainers!!! I brought my great Dane Luna in for an hour long private training session. Stacy was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable on my breed type and what my dog needed. I was at my wit's end with training Luna on a leash. I am now able to walk my dog without losing an arm. Stacy had the best advice and was extremely friendly. My dog loved her and got excited to come in to see her. Everyone working at this location is very friendly and helpful. Would give 10 stars if I could. I will be recommending Stacy to everyone. Thank you for all of your help!

I was recommended to take my dog for grooming here. I was acknowledge right away by friendly staff. I am a fairly new dog owner and have never taken my or any dog to be groomed. So you can imagine I was saying things like shave instead of trim, however, Heather, an employee here was poilete and very helpful to get done what I wanted for my dog. When I picked him up he looked great. Heather went over and beyond to help me and our dog Milo. I read many other comments and had a totally different experience so I will bring Milo back next time.,

Do not come to this location for fish needs. Everytime we come it’s a new story when we try to buy a pleco. Oh we can’t sell this to you, you need a 10 gallon tank, oh you need a 20 gallon tank. So we get a 20 gallon tank for our fish and come to get a pleco and are told oh you need 40 gallons, sorry we can’t sell this to you. Never coming here again or petsmart for that matter. If you need fish or fish supplies go to petco or a pet store where they know what they’re talking about. What can you expect from a woman with pink hair I suppose.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GROOMING. I took my 4 month old puppy in for a haircut because his hair was so long and he has TANGLES NOT MATS. They told me they needed to cut them off and I agreed. I let her know to BLEND the hair on top I don’t want him shaved all the way around and this is what I get? This is what they call blended? They also nicked him and he was bleeding. I am so unhappy with the service, the manager could care less sounded like this has been an ongoing issue because there was no solution besides refund. Do not go here

Very organized. Staff is friendly and more than happy to help well informed as well. Mgr was otf helping staff and customers. Items were priced mid high but there were Great cheaper options along with some deals. Spacious and quiet. Easy to read and spot deals and prices.Good variety on items specifically dog. Great deals and an easy to use point system that you can sign up for at the register. Groomers were sweet. 10/10 will go back. Spent about 100$ and got everything I needed for my dog in 1 trip. Very happy with my visit.

Bad customer service. My pup who’s a year old was suppose to have his first bath visit there. Mind you he was born during covid. We have not taken him out much. They denied him because he had a bit of foam on his mouth. He was not crying, barking or jumping. He was actually very calm. Girl at front desk asked a co worker, then they called the manager. The manager also said she’s not sure and said it was up to girl at front desk. Although she was the manager? Made no sense. Won’t be going back.

I took a kitten I found with horrible mange here. The staff was very kind, and I can tell that they made sure to make the experience as stress free as possible for my cat. While waiting to pick her up, the techs were friendly and made good conversation with me. For several days after, the vet would even call to ask how she was doing and if the medications were working. I was very touched by her concern, and I'm planning on continuing to bring my cats here.

Bought item for tank and found it was to big . Tried to bring back to store and told no they cant its not store policy. What ! Item still brand new and all tags and nothing wrong with plastic ramp . Item was for my daughters cage . She was forced to eat it and not get return of her birthday money . Nice petsmart telling 10year old she cant buy anything because you sold her ramp thats to large . Poor poor customer service. Just lost all of our business.

Friendly staff at the in-store Veterinarian Clinic, Banfield Veterinary. We dropped off our precious mutt for her semi-annual check-up and did a little shopping for the hound when we came back to pick her up. The store staff was helpful and courteous as well and even showed us their doggy pillow beds that were on sale at a great price, $14.99 for a big one. Daisy Dog gives PetSmart a big paws up.

PetSmart is a nice place. It is a busy place and I often have a difficult time finding my Guinea Pig her food as they run out/or possibly just don't keep enough product in the store. Over the many years I've shopped at PetSmart, I can say that they do a great job with classes and customer service. As far as my dogs and cats, PetSmart does a great job keeping their supplies well stocked.

I had AMAZING customer service here. I had to purchase two very large dog crates and Russel put them on a dolly for me and offered to help load them into my car. The cashier brought up that they price match online and was able to help me save over $60. She did this without me asking, she was genuinely trying to help me save some money on my expensive purchase. 10/10 would recommend

I am very satisfied with the grooming of both my dogs. The associate that checked me in seemed to really care about the condition of my dogs skin, teeth, ears and nails. The only problem I ran into is that they would not accept two $10 coupons for the two bath and brush purchases for each of my dogs because of the fact that I scheduled them together. I was not pleased with that.

Amazing experience with the trainer there. She helped give us a run down of what to expect from training, and even took time to recommend treats/toys for our new puppy. Helpful in every way! Reccomend! The grooming staff was also so kind for our first time there, we were able to see our puppy taken care of for his nails and the employees at the grooming salon were all kind!

We got our pup groomed here. Over 100 lbs so not a delicate flower of a dog. Two days later and his dew claw continues to bleed. The groomer did mention numerous things like pup bit at water, dryer, brush...basically did not enjoy his grooming. But no mention made of getting his dew claw too short. Will not be using this groomer ever again. He seems a bit traumatized.

Little bit higher prices because of it being a specialty store. My son loves going here to look at the animals. If he sees the sign we have to go in. We got our Betta fish here along with the tank and food. The store itself is clean and we'll stocked and the customer service wasn't above and beyond but it also wasn't bad. I recommend this store and we will return.

I am so glad I came to this location, the girls (employees) went above and beyond in helping me find treats for my puppy and patiently waiting for me to find my coupon that I had in my email. I also dropped off my puppy to get groomed and every single person that was in there was so friendly, Chrissy is so kind and caring, I will definitely bring my puppy back.

Came in to buy some goldfish and we must’ve walked in before they closed at 6pm on Memorial Day because when we asked to buy fish a young lady responded with a little bit of attitude and said, “The store is closed.” She did end up helping us, but we obviously came in before closing time. The store was nice and organized. They should work on costumer service.

The staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable! They helped us pick out the perfect size crate for our growing Golden Doodle, carried the giant dog crate to the front for us, waited while we checked out, and helped us load it into our SUV. I wish I knew the guys name who checked me out. He was super nice and carried my HUGE bag of dog food to my car, and don't ever park close. He even said hi to my dog. Worst experience ever!! Do not take your dogs here especially if they’re large dogs like mine. The groomer was hesitant in taking in our dog because his “rabies vaccine was expired” when our GS clearly got it in June. Yes we brought in the immunization record. Unbelievably irresponsible staff. Misplaced a food prescription I dropped off to be filled by Banfield, then claimed to have no knowledge of it—despite making me fill out a contact form and filing it away in a folder that “gets put in a safe.” I was reassured the prescription had made its way into the right hands, though it never did.

Lots of pet adoption on the weekends. Can be a bit crazy with lots of dogs looking for a home. Turtles, lizards, snakes and fish too. They did not have much of a Guinea pig selection and only a couple gerbils. Prices seemed good for gecko and bearded lizards. Like the information listed on expertise level and the care required.

Our first experience with a groomer here did not go well. We decided to give it a second try and were glad we did! Veronica (the groomer) did a great job and did exactly as we requested. The store is good for shopping pet supplies and various pet foods. My complain is with the poor service in the grooming department. It’s been a couple years where the groomers seem like hate their job. They’re not nice nor professional. They tell you one thing over the phone snd you show up and they change their story.

I love this gang at PetsMart. The cashiers are always helpful and when my newly engraved tag for my pup did not have a ring to attach to his collar the manager quickly resolved. No fuss, no muss. This specific location for grooming never wants to handle my dog because she’s a chow, they literally wrote a note in her profile for them to not take her. She’s not aggressive or anything. They discriminate what animals they’ll accept. The Culebra location is the best they care for you animal! DO NOT GO TO BANDERA!

The classes consisted of a few minutes of instruction, then we were told to go 'practice' out in the store environment, without much direction. (the class was only four puppies). None of the classes lasted the full hour. The experience was not as beneficial as we expected, although we did pick up a couple of tips.

They test aquarium water for free. So far among all the fishes that I bought, the only one that survived in our aquarium was the fish that I bought from here. Staff at the registers never fails to greet customers as soon as they enter the store. Really good customer service.

We took our Siberian Husky to get a bath, trim fur from his paw pads, and trim his nails. He tends to be a little shy, but the people there are great with him. When they were done, they put a cute bandana around his neck as a finishing touch. I recommend Petsmart.
