I used shop at Mornington Pet Barn years go for all my fish stuff but once they all died I haven’t been back in years and I will say a lot has changed in that store. When you went in there was a lot of friendly stuff to help you out to help you find the items you were looking for and explain things to help take better care of your pets. I went there again for the first time in years as my mum need to get stuff for my family’s cats but when we went in we weren’t even Greeted like we used to be and that’s fine but when we started having trouble finding the things we needed there was no stuff to help us as there was only 2 people on one on registers and one cleaning the fish tanks so we weren’t able to find all the things we wanted and needed because of this and even after I went near the woman cleaning the fish tank she didn’t even say a word to me or my mum even though she could see o was disabled and on crutches and would need a little more help shopping. Eventually when checking out we asked the girl at register if she was able to help us find the item we were looking for and she said wasn’t sure where they were or it they even have them. Also we brought cat food that was on sale for $20 odd dollars and was charged it normal price and I know it is my Mother fault for not looking at the receipt before leaving to make sure it was right and waiting until we got home but they also should make sure that they have marked there Products right.

I regularly go to Petbarn in Mornington for pet grooming and also dog food. I usually purchase Gore wellness tin food of which is quite expensive. I was in recently and purchased 8 cans of which had a sign on to say that they were on special, they are usually $4.29each but the special was just over $3.00each. After paying I went home and had a look at the docket and was sadly charged full price. I therefore phoned the store to inform them that they had made a mistake. Apparently the sale was only if you purchased 12 cans, therefore my complaint is that the sign was very misleading and secondly the lady on check-out should have informed me of this.(I don't usually wear my reading glasses when out!!!)

Shop is ok. Not a great seletion of dog accessories or if there is you can't really tell as there is no real order to product placement. There's a section where it's just a pile of items on the floor shelf, you have to sift through. The few times I've been, there never seems to be staff around to assist. There is a clearance shelf at the end of the dog section where cat food and items are discounted.. and if you don't have a dog you probably will miss the discounted items as it's not clearly marked. If you can be bothered making the extra 15min drive.. than Frankston Petbarn is probably worth the drive and you'll find someone to help you too.

Cannot believe a company this size only has one groomer employed at this store! After booking my dog in for a full groom weeks in advance before I have to go away I receive a phone call 2 days in a row 2 days before I leave telling me that the groomer is away sick so my dog cannot be groomed at all now! Why do Petbarn, a huge company not have a backup groomer for this very situation?! Extremely annoyed and very unprofessional Petbarn! Definitely will never bother going there again!

Until directing them to their website advertised price, staff tried on 3 separate occasions to overcharge me for an item. On last occasion after much polite discussion they agreed to charge a 3-pack price for 3 single items, because they were out of 3-packs. Today, again out of 3-packs, a very abrupt and officious staff member refused to consider doing the same deal. Outcome: Petbarn lost a sale today and have lost a repeat customer who will purchase elsewhere in future.

I'd seen the sign but never gone in; SO glad I did! It is huge! And the floor space is covered with interesting supplies and tempting treats for almost any pet. I was overjoyed to find terrific Xmas-themed 'dog clothing and accessories, as well as a treat-filled Santa Stocking and dog-friendly tree decorations. And added to the mix is the friendly and helpful staff. Pet Barn is now my 'go-to' store.

The manager is seriously tight. In May 2023 I brought in Petbarn tag I'd been given on a previous visit offering a Multibuy special of 4 x Royal Canin cat wet food for $24.75 due to expire 26/6/23. She refused to honour it, even though it came from her store! Had a full on disagreement with me in public. Very disappointed, and will think twice before going back.

I went in to buy an 11kg bag of dog food. A bit shocked when l was offered no assistance to take it to the car. 2 other team members watched me drag it along the floor. One team member was stood right in front of the door area too. But they were too busy talking obviously to help me. I dragged my dog all the way out to my car. Very disappointing

I went in to get a dog bed and was told not to bother wasting my money on there beds. The lady wasn't interested in helping me, it seemed to much trouble to walk away from her heater. Nothing was priced which made the decision harder. If I'm going to spend $230 on a dog bed I feel like it could come with just a tiny bit of customer service.

Huge warehouse with a large selection, the staff here were very nice. Some of the toys are a bit expensive but you generally find that at most of the stores ($60 for a large rope), either way though the rewards system and discounts makes up for everything. I always get my dogs food from here when up on the Peninsula.

Amazing service here at Petbarn Mornington on the 17th of January at 3pm. My partner and I forgot to grab the lady’s name that helped us, but she was exceptional with her service and knowledge. She went above and beyond to give advice, and even offered us a free kitty bag after telling her we just adopted a kitten.

The only negative thing I could say about this place is that it's at the back of a busy block of factories and there is limited parking. However, every time I have come here there has still been enough parking. The staff here are great and helped me carry items to my car. Pets on a leash are always welcome.

Today my two dogs ( Buddy and Pottsy) had a Grooming with Kim at Petbarn. She has done an amazing job and the dogs seemed to be very happy ! We are highly recommended pet barn mornington dog grooming is the best we ever had and looking forward to go back again ! Thank you Kim you are amazing!

Jess was very helpful in the grooming salon. I had to cancel my appointment due to a doctor's appointment I couldn't change . I stuck my head in their in the afternoon of when the appointment was first booked for. She squeezed my puppy in instead of waiting for my rearranged appointment.

They always have the food I need and being a member, I get it a little cheaper. Parking at the Mornington store can be hit and miss due to the Tyre place, also on the premises, taking up multiple parking spots for their clients who leave their cars there for new tyres.

I went in to buy some Eukanuba puppy food and although they didn’t have it in stock the sales person, Ashleigh, was extremely helpful and let me know where the nearest store that had stock was. I would recommend going there just for her polite and efficient service!

Friendly staff. All stock was replenished - nothing out of stock, which meant I was able to make my purchase efficiently and with ease. The staff were very friendly. Although not my local Petbarn, I would return to shop there again if I am ever in the area.

Customer service is disgusting. Staff nothing but rude. Talking down to customers, if you don’t want to be at work don’t go in. It’s not as if you had been at work all day and had difficult customers it was only 8.30am. Will never attend this store again.

Firstly, I wish there was an option for zero stars, the manager was extremely rude And not helpful whatsoever, I never knew you needed an identity check to purchase goldfish absolute embarrassment to say the least never going back there again

The groomers here are absolutely amazing! My 9 year old German Shepherd always looks so beautiful when she comes back, and is always very relaxed and happy. The girls that work here are so friendly, and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Disappointing experience with the head groomer. We will not be going back to Petbarn Mornington or any other Petbarn again. Had been regular customers as well over a number of years purchasing pet food, other items etc. Not anymore.

I used to shop at Frankston Petbarn.. but followed the Store Manager to Mornington, as it is nice to have someone welcome you and feel like you are real and important. Kylie is amazing, and I wouldn't go anywhere else now

Highly recommend the grooming service at Petbarn Mornington. I took my 2 Samoyed dogs here for the first time today and the service was excellent! My dogs look amazing and the staff were so lovely. Thank you so much.

Amazing customer service!! I was a little bit confused as to what food to buy and one of the ladies recommend a few things and my dog loves it. He can be a bit fussy with food so this was a big win. I'll be back! :)

Quite strange as far as pet shops go. Kind of like going back in time. I found myself not entirely trusting of the staff who were on duty. But I bought some stuff and they were nice enough at the checkout.

Love Petbarn products! They stock the best for kittens including litter. Always have great specials and competitive prices. Saved quite alot today on cat harnesses, kitten food & flea treatments

I was very happy with the groomer she did a great job but not happy with the response after leaving 4 messages throughout the day no one got back to me , very hard to contact them unfortunately.

Love it when staff ask what you’re looking for and then they run for the hills - don’t look for complicated things like gold fish here if the store is empty.

There is always someone to help me and discuss options for my cats. bunnies and puppy. I always find what I need and I find the value for money exceptional.

Absolutely poor grooming. Paid $80.00 the whole body is not even touched except his four legs. I strongly don’t recommend this store for grooming.
