This is by far the worst Merchant I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I purchased 2 expensive bottles of port, one for myself, one for my brother in law for christmas. When I tried to explain to Anthony that it would be risky to try and send back a bottle that was not properly sealed he informed me that I had to and that I should speak to his supplier which should be never happening as that is between those two. He tried to invalidate my cliam stating that because other similar bottles had been sold with no complaint that it was somehow my fault. He told me to goto fair trading NSW so I did and meanwhile my brother in law opened his bottle and the same thing happened, the cork disintegrated and the port was corked. I informed Anthony and he said this "2 complaints in 10? Years & they are both from you! " - which is extremely rude and as others have said, tried to blame the issue on me. I drove around for 2 hours trying to find a place I could get a suitable cork and I did my best to seal up both bottles and package them for delivery. Both were corked and completely ruined. He ignored my email asking for the return details and said that he "lost my email" when i sent a further reply. He also then tried to say that he would only now accept one of the bottles because too much time had elapsed from the first bottle because it should be drank within 6 weeks. The port was undrinkable from the time it was opened. Time is no matter here and he never once said during our conversations or during the time we waited for Fair Trading to reply that time was of the essense. Not should it be when its undrinkable port! I have now had to goto Fair Trading again and wait until they rule in my favour which is that he accepts the return. By far the worst customer experience you could possible have filled with accusations and changing minds regarding accepting the return item. DO NOT USE Update: I beat them in court and they have been ordered to refund me and cover the costs of going through VCAT.

Worst experience i have ever had at a liquor store. I called to get a price on Jack Danial’s Master Distillers, and was told they were $49.99 a bottle, and they had 4 cases. I called again latter to put them all aside, but the manager was not in the store, and the staff wouldn’t put it aside and said call tomorrow for the manager. So I called again, No manager again, every time I called I said the same thing, Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers to confirm as it was a really good price. I tried calling again after I headed down but got a shelf stocker as everyone was at lunch and wouldn’t be back for an hour. He also couldn’t put aside the Jack. So I get into the store and the old lady at the counter takes me over to the JIM BEAN Distillers for $49.99…….. I just drove for 2 hours from the blue mountains and this old lady is blaming me for not emailing them. I called 4 times and confirmed ever time….. after some prompting I got another employee to call the manager, who just said nope. I ending up taking the 1 bottle they had of JD MD, and it took over 20 minutes for this lady to ring it up. Couldn’t remember any product codes, then charged me the wrong amount, all the while blaming me for the whole situation. Manager is worthless, never there and then makes bad decisions. The old lady should not be working there at all.

Worst shop ever. Ask them on their policies on off wines because they had certain penfolds at 90’s some even as old as 80s. The guy replied rudely and wasn’t really listening to the question. One of the worst customer service ever! Since you’ve decided to reply saying I’ve asked the same question 4 times? Let me clarify. I asked twice. “What are your policies on aged wines if they are off” your response was “returns are to be done 24 hours”. I wanted to clarify on aged wines and when you answered with the same answer. I knew you didn’t want to do business. It’s never about what you say but how you say what you say. While leaning on one side starring at me without saying hi once for 10 minutes prior to the conversation. Your body language and response was very poor in customer service. Been going here for almost 30yrs. Family owned business, great selection, prices are very competitive, and the personal service is the best. If you need to buy a drink, and you happen to be nearby, give this business a go, support you locals when you can. PS: I stopped visiting this store as I've given up drinking for a year and a half. I was a regular for so many years but, when the plandemic came along, I be was treated like a leper. Especially one of the owners, one of the sons, was so rude to me. The rest of the staff were nice, but that one son made entering the store a horrible experience. So I'll reduce my initial rating of 5 down to 3 because of him.

I bought 2 bottles of pisco as a present and really need them on a certain date. That’s why I bought it 2 weeks earlier. The delivery system offered by them, that normally takes 1or 2 bussines days, is taking over 2 weeks and on the webpage they said they are experiencing some delays, but 3 weeks for something that normally takes 1 day it is a serious issue. I called them asking for a solution and some way to rush my parcel. The person at the phone was really rude and said to me I was giving him grief and he didn’t really care because the delivery wasn’t part of his job. No empathy or any help.

These guys are rude with a capital R. I will never go there again. Park car, enter store, proprietor (or server or whomever) is on the phone on a personal call. He elects to avoid my eyes and head out to the street to continue his call, leaving me at the counter in nowhere-ville. I left. All he had to do was look at me, smile politely and indicate that he wouldn't be a minute. Instead he treated me as if i didn't exist. That's all well and good, but he has lost me and my entire local personal network as customers. Good work mate - great way to run a business ... not!

The online ordering was easy, and my parcel was shipped with fastaway couriers. Delivery to WA was advised as 7-10 days. It took 14 days for delivery which is acceptable due to peak season shipping. The reason for the poor review is because Anthony, the gentleman who answered my email, was rude, argumentative and provided exceptionally poor customer service. He should consider another career path.

If there was minus stars they would get infinity minus. Walked in to buy a Penfolds grange and to spend a good 50k, the guy was the rudest a hole ive ever come across in customer service, obviously has no clue on how to deal with high wealth customers. I went to show the |Drick how much i was going to spend instead of aplogising he got even ruder. Ill take my money elsewhere

Great range of Rakijas! Amazed at how quick shipping was. Bought some wine and rakija for orthodox easter and it was delivered quickly and promptly. great communication from the organisation with updates of delivery and tracking number. Will definitely be purchasing again. My only complaint is that I wish they had a store in Brissy!

We made an order online on Tuesday 3:20 pm and paid extra for delivery in 1-2 days. Now 3 days after (friday) we are still waiting. When we called them they don’t help and said they can not do anything because is the curriers mistake. But we paid them for that and expected help with a solution, at least say they try, buy nothing

Antony is extremely rude, arrogant and willfully unhelpful. The worst customer service ever! Anna is very hopeless and should have retired long ago ! Always too many excuses, every one is either wrong or lying. Only Tony is always correct... No point repeating everything other customers wrote, it’s all there, word by word :(

A decent range of bourbons and whiskeys. Priced about average or better. All the beers a bloke would want to drink. Not a wine drinker unfortunately so no comment. The unfortunate thing is this place does shut early on occasion compared to the chain outlets, but as a small business this can be understood if not supported.

This place is my number one bottle shop in Sydney. I actually switched to Petersham Liquor Mart because their range is actually BETTER than Dan Murphy’s. Outstanding selection of EDVs and Slivovitz. In addition, the team are legends - stellar service, stellar delivery and care. They should be proud of their business.

Just found out the if I buy a product from this place and it doesn't arrive in time, even though I elected the fastest delivery, it's 100% my problem and I shouldn't even question what is going on, unless I want to hear someone saying that I'm giving them grief If you have a choice not to buy from them, do it

Petersham Liquor Mart has an excellent selection! I needed some special Serbian liquors and the variety here is top notch, and reasonably priced. I had a last-minute special occasion and Anthony provided outstanding customer service to make sure I got my delivery when I needed it. I highly recommend!

This is most likely the best bottle-o in Petersham. Mom and pop owned, and their sons work here as well. Incredible pricing, and staff has worked with me on issues if there is low stock. Personally, I'll ALWAYS choose mom and pop over Corporations. This will be my new go-to

Awesome selection of imported wines and local wines. Plenty of selection of craft breweries. A wide array of spirits as well. Once I found their fine wine section with deliciously aged wines I was hooked to come back for more. Everything for super reasonable prices as well.

I went here to find some rum which is not available in major stores.. Searching on internet found only this place..they got good variety of liquor.. Only issue is parking.. It's hard to find parking closer. Spent over 30 minutes to find parking..

A great range of beer that's expanded into the local craft brewers. Its range of novel spirit bottles are probably it's most know feature. Friendly staff, clean space, large range for a medium sized bottle'o.
