This place was excellent before ot was PETstock, and when it was 'Eltham Stockfeeds'. They bagged up small quantities of things like bird mixes and chicken food. They had IMPECCABLE service, and they also managed to keep the rodents at bay! ;) However, this store is still better than most PETstocks, with a lingering effort toward maintaining their 'Stockfeeds' roots. Want some more customers PETstock Eltham? This may help; -Store should have other options available to customers other then the extremely overpriced and stale pre-packed 5kg bags of feed/seed. -Store should also reintroduce allowing customers to sell poultry on the weekends. Maybe they could limit this to PETstock members and charge a small fee? -This should go without saying, but it's a big deal. Get rid of the rats/mice! I don't enjoy walking through piles (literally) of sunflower husks and rodent poo while I look for a product. -Service? I recently waited over 25 mins for staff to help me, as customers who had just walked in the door were being asked for help failry quickly. The next day I was almost locked in the store when they shut because the Manger and staff didn't check the stoor for customers in the last 15 mins of trade.

I visited Petstock Main Rd Eltham this morning to use the dogwash. Just after I entered the dogwash a female attendant called out to me "did your dog make a mess on the floor?" I answered "If he did I wasn't aware of it" - I had just walked in and had stopped briefly to look at the dog beds. I did not see my dog make a mess nor did I see a mess on the floor. I then proceeded to wash the dog. When I finished I put the dog in the car and came back into store to purchase some bird food and stood in line waiting to be served. When it got to my turn the same female attendant at the counter said "won't be a moment" and just walked off leaving me just standing there. It was clear to me that she was deliberately leaving me waiting and another attendant served me. As I exited the store she walked past me giving me a dirty look. It was clear she believed I had let the dog make a mess on the floor which I had no knowledge of. I have long been a customer of Petstock stores and usually find the staff to be polite and helpful but as a consequence of her rudeness towards me this morning I will find another local store to shop.

I just stood one back from the counter and waited to pay for my purchase, the person in front of me had a trolley with quite a few items. No problem so far except for the staff member in the green shirt standing in the doorway socialising with two women and a dog. One more behind me in line and a staff member came out of the office walked past us picked a product and went back to the office. Two more enter the store, pick up items and join the que. Now we have one at the counter and four standing in line. The green shirt staff member ignores us and continues to socialise with the two women in the doorway . The staff member continues to serve the trolley holder which is taking quite some time as the purchaser discusses items stored behind the counter. The server finally dings the bell and the office occupier emerges and serves me. She asked if I was a member ( which I am ) but I said no just to speed things up so I could get out of there. I walked past the social outing with the green shirt which was in full swing and went home wondering if I would be ever bothered to go back .

This is a story about Celeste (I think, I'm horrible with names). I've been buying my dog's food here since we got him about 9 months ago, she's always been very friendly and asking about our pooch, Paddington. The other day I took him in for his first visit on his birthday. Well, when I arrived, we were met with "Oh Paddy! You came in! And it's your birthday!" This is the first time she'd met him AND remembered his birthday! I was stunned, how amazing. He was showered with pats and they bought him birthday treats. Not only that, she offered to go past her local store to pickup his food as they were out. Amazing customer service.

Stood directly at the service point at the front counter waiting for service. Salesmale didn't even acknowledge my existence. He then he served someone behind me, continued ignoring me, then walked off to put something in their car. I still did not exist. Would have been different if he had have made eye contact, welcomed me... Anything. Won't go back there. Plus they shoved all the cat stuff up the back :(

The dog groomer here didn't even seem to like dogs. Didn't pat my dogs or introduce herself at all. The place was dirty. Blood on floor my dogs kept sniffing. Scared little dog waiting on premises for a groom didn't look comfortable at all. Sign said cash only but Eftpos is actually available which was confusing. I will be going elsewhere.

Staff are always great. Good vibes in this store. However the price of a particular cat food was $25.00 one week and $31.00 the next week. Just because of low stocks and hard to find. That's just forcing people to pay more for profit. Totally unacceptable practice. And abuses the people who shop with you frequently.

This is one of the best pet products supplier in the area. If they don’t have what I need they will order it. They always help me with my large quantities of chicken grain and dog food into my car. They are great with recommending products. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

A great pet shop with dog cleaning facilities. The prices can be a little on the pricier side, however, if you can find a good deal online it usually beats the competition. I have purchased 13kg bags of Ivory Coat at a fraction of the price

Dropped by to pick up some aquarium supplies to be greeted by hay for horses :) Small but cared for selection of fish with helpful staff. I ended up walking away with neon tetras and an albino corydora. Ample parking out the front as well.

Love this place. The staff (especially Indie) are always helpful. She went out of her way to help me and nothing was a trouble. They carry my supplies out to my car. They know what they are doing and can always answer my questions.

Kind and helpful staff. They always carry the at litter to my car for me, offer assistance and they have a great range of pet supplies and feed including hay. They house kittens from RSPCA as well which is a such a worthy cause.

I found the staff to be very helpful. The store has a large range of products and that includes food for our furry friends. I was after raw feed for my dog and they had a large variety of different types.

A lot of the stock I looked at was covered in a layer of dust.. the shop needs a good clean. Didn't have the item i was looking for in stock but had quite a few of another flavour

They have a fair range of Dog food brands, but don't carry a full size range of all brands. Many of the highest end products are only sold in small bags.
