Warning: Stay away from them. Called this company for a blocked drain as it comes on top in google search engine. I told them that I need to know the price for water jet and snake cable as the previous plumber who tried to fix the drain with the help of a plunger and some chemicals said it can not be done without the water jet or snake cable. Shaun said he can not give a quotation, a plumber will come and give me the quotation,and a callout fee of $160plus GST will be charged. A young block came onsite, didn't even touch anything and gave me a quotation of $460 plus gst for the snake cable, which does not guarantee that the drain ll be fixed. If it isn't, he'll then give me another quotation for water jet. I don't understand why couldn't he give the same quotation over the phone, which each and every other plumber I called was able to give. The charge for snake cable was about $160- to a maximum of $220 in other companies. Even after that, he gave me an invoice of $176, but charged me $180 on my credit card as a fallout fee for giving me an exorbitant quotation. I think, this company is there to rob innocent people. I am going to lodge a complain about this company in consumer court. I already have sent an email to my solicitor. Stay away from them. He also stated that he has videotaped me doing that (of course he thinks he can videotape anybody without his or her permission or notification) when I never inserted a pipe in that drainage. He can not have a videotape of that. Going to call police now. He did send me a text message about reporting to council too.

STAY AWAY. Was told there will be a 120 fee for first 20min, then was told something needed to be replaced when already reassured it was ok, price to fix the issue wasn't discussed and was told the final price at the end of the job, which came to 320 plus adding GST plus a 2.5% charge for using credit card, had other gas fixtures checked which was a quick job and ensured all was fine, to then find excessive time wasted and wanted to do another recheck on another gas appliance, had left worker to do the job for a while only to step out and find it was still being tampered with, and had fixed it within 15min in front of me, total work should have taken less than 1hr but an extra hour was wasted on doing nothing, was asked for credit card details, and cv number on the back which I found odd, and no paperwork given upon giving payment details was told all details of work and costs would be emailed to me, waited and no email, spoke with plumber and was then told I will receive invoice tomorrow, spoke with a receptionist who also thought it was weird handing over credit card details without any proof of work, dodgy and rip offs.stay clear

For months we’d had a leaking down pipe in the garage which led to the plasterboard ceiling caving in and garage floor completely flooding. First plumber ‘unblocked’ the down pipe and gutter. It flooded again. The next said we’d need the whole roof replied for $10k. The next recommended a leaf guard and some roof maintenance. It leaked again. Then Pipesafe came to have a look. A quick camera check down the pipe to the street found blockages from tree roots and broken pipes, a solution was recommended and quickly implemented. The down pipe finally stopped overflowing and flooding the garage! We then saw there was still a puddle appearing but from the other side, previously masked by the bigger flooding issue. A camera down another pipe found a couple of other cracks, which were again quickly quoted and fixed. I was very impressed with the speed to respond, properly diagnose the issue, provide quote and book in the work. Communication was great, team professional and follow up to make sure all was good after the next heavy rain very thoughtful. Thank you Josh and rest of the team.

called this plumbing service to fix a hot water unit on a saturday. was told it was a $120 by a guy named Sean call out fee (that is fair) and that any additional costs would be communicated and discussed before proceeding. The plumber Glen arrived at the house and was there for a total of 10 minutes before he said the unit was broken. found them very pushy with wanting to replace the unit then and there even though i ask and they said it'd be an extra 1k for being on the weekend. i made it clear i was not interested in getting the unit replaced over the weekend. appone payment i was told that the total came to a total of $222 this fee i was told included the $120 call out fee plus an investigation fee. i was then stunned to see that they had charged $338 to my master card. i tried calling for a refund and am still waiting to speak to someone to get my money back. this company is a complete rip off and incredibly rude when you try to get your money back. do yourself a favour and just shop around for a plumber to save yourself the stress and trouble of dealing with these people.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this company. Our heating was not working so I called the first google "plumber" who came up. I was told the call out fee was $160. The guy walked into my house and without even looking at anything asked for my credits card immediately. Then he we outside looked at my gas pipes (Looked is the key word here) and then told me I'd need new copper pipes throughout the whole house which I was then quoted $6200. He also went into my roof to check the heater and for some reason loosened the bolt to make it seem like there was a gas leak so then he charged me $180 to turn off my gas line. I got another opinion, which I'm glad I did. the new guy fixed my heater ( by tightening the bolt that the other guy loosened) and did a gas leak test to find there was no such leak. he charged me $150 for the whole thing! He also quoted me for the same job just to see the price difference and it was over $2000 cheaper to do the same job. Avoid.

Hello my name is Brihan Yesterday I called pipe safe plumbing to renew my gas line, I had recently called a different plumber beforehand to give me a quote for the job and how long it'll take and I was disappointed with the outcome. So I looked for another plumber on google, as pipe safe plumbing are first to pop up in my search engine I had given plumber Shaun a call. He then came down to my property and investigated the solution and fixed it within the hour. This company has very good and quick service, I was able to track there whereabouts due to them notifying me from when they are on there way and if any delays has happened, credit card details were taken and also a call out fee was needed which I was fine with providing. I have recently build a new home and deal with a lot of tradies, and pipe safe plumbing is he most understanding and resonable group of tradies I have worked with. And they are now my day to day plumbers for any solution.

We recently purchased our very first home. After having our floors re stumped we discovered a rooted pipe. We contacted Pipesafe Plumbing through Hi Pages . Shaun immediately made us feel like we got the right guy for the job with his very calm and enthusiastic phone manner . Please speak to Shaun he has my contact details How come for all the negative reviews your system has no contact or job number ? Be aware of all the fake 5 star reviews made Unreasonable pricing. I was very unhappy with their service. Would not recommend them at all. This company forces you to pay up front for call out fees, take the credit card details and then provide overpriced quotes and charges the credit card with out authorization and provide quotes for fake or non existent repairs. The problem is still not resolved !! I realized they were recently caught out by current affairs ripping off two old pensioners by over quoting and forcing them to withdraw money from an atm. Pipesafe to the rescue! We have our furniture stored under our house due to renovations and we had a pipe burst under the house which lead to a large water leak. We contacted Pipesafe on a weekend and the delightful Josh came out within the hour, and identified the leak. He promptly arranged the quote and was very thorough in his explanation of the work that was required. Everything to do with our experience with Pipesafe was professional and stress free. Pipesafe were a pleasure to deal with including the boys who came on site to do the repairs to the office staff dealing with the quotes and invoicing. Every communication with Pipesafe was respectful and professional and we thank Josh and the team for the care they extend to their clients.

i understand on call fees will charge on top of the service fees, but is definately not good experience to charge on call fees at the minute step in my house, without tell me any solution. and after i paid, 2 mins later quote me $390.00 plus gst for toilet blockage, i ask how long to fix this, he said around 1hour. will 1hour work charge almost $400.00 and this is the cost on top of the on call charge. i don't know if this is market price or not, but sounds to me very expensive, and the plumber did not show his confidence to fix my job by this price, i worries if more cost may ask me to pay later, so i stop him. $120 teach me an lesson, at the end, lucky i found someone else to fix my toilet and only paid $275 include on call fees.

Final Update: Received my docs after two weeks and Shaun was quite apologetic. Thanks Plumbers that came on site are good and professional. Called in the morning and they were at my place by 2pm to tell me they need to go and buy parts but first I need to pre-pay the full amount. After paying over the phone, Shaun told me they are going all the way to Clayton from my place in the west and will not make it today but will come in the morning. The guys came and did a good job. Competitive price and quick service but you will never get your tax invoice and certificate for gas work thanks to Shaun. I called many times and still nothing, now I am going to consumer affairs and will seek a legal advise, this very low.

I was left with a leaking roof after another business who had repaired and recapped my roof refused to accept responsibly, even though the roof had never leaked before. With water pouring inside during heavy rain, I called Pipe Safe Plumbing in an emergency situation. A representative had arrived within 20 minutes to quote and then make emergency repairs. Pipe Safe returned when the weather was favourable and made a permanent seal. I was very grateful for the numerous phone calls and follow up to check if everything was to my satisfaction. I believe they are a reputable business who deserve to be positively promoted to others. I have no hesitation in giving Pipe Safe my highest recommendation!

Excellent service provided by Shaun and Jordan. Rang to fix an urgent plumbing issue that had reduced the water pressure at home to a trickle which meant we couldn't have showers. Not ideal with an eight month old baby in the house. Shaun provided great customer service, getting Jordan to come out to our house straight away. Jordan was friendly and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. He also came in and changed over a washer that needed fixing while he was here. Water pressure is now better than what it was originally and we have a happy and clean baby. Couldn't be happier with the great service we received. Highly recommend. :)

Called out the boys from pipesafe plumbing and what a absolute pleasure to deal with them, I had plumber glen attend my property in Altona within 1 hour of contacting the office recived a quote from another company at $4300 +gst to renew my cold water line from galvanised pipes to copper, pipesafe plumbing quoted me a $2260 plus gst I was more then happy to go ahead with the works. The boys started and complete on the same day frendly group of guys one worker noticed I had a leaking tap and changed the washer free of charge, will defiantly use them again for any future works Thanks again Pipesafe

Sadly I had the same experience as the lady who has reviewed prior to me. I hired pipesafe after speaking to "Shaun", to unblock one of our toilets. I was assured that the call out fee was $120, including half an hours work, plus materials if required. Shaun said the job would not be more than $250, so I decided to proceed with hiring them. Although Glen, the plumber who attended our job was lovely, he was here for no more than 10 minutes for a simple job, and we were charged a whopping $360.80! Tradesmen must be true to their word when quoting on jobs. Feeling very disappointed!

Extremely overpriced and when our bill was queried with accounts they promise to get back and then do not return further calls. Plumber attended to connect a brand new washing machine. He was at the property for 50 minutes and he spent at least 10 minutes on the phone. He charged as follows: $133.32 (GST incl) call out fee plus another fee for $244.42 for "labour". He used a hose already purchased by ourselves - drilled one hole and attached the hose to the waste pipe. The most unprofessional company I have ever come across. Do not recommend. Will never use again.

NO STARS! I've had a similar experience to a few others in this forum. Booked a job to diagnose a potential leak on our pipes behind a wall. Having been told about a $120/hr for 2 plumbers to diagnose a problem and then another quote for the next potential phase, they took advantage of our desperation and anxiety and charged $1000 for essentially removing a small patch of tiles and mortar with no leak evident. They then had the gaul to quote $2800 to replace a few easily accessible pipes. They give the trade a bad name. Do not do business with these people.

I am very happy to come across Pipe Safe to fix water pipe burst and they did a great job. I believe a lot of plumbers out there can do a good job, but the service and work from them are top class. We needed urgent repair to our sewerage and Shaun and his crew were on our property within approximately 1 hour. We recently had a very nasty experience with Pipe Safe. In our opinion and that of two other plumbers we consulted, the work was incompetent and the price exorbitant. Of greatest concern, however, was the electrical component of Pipe Safe's work, allegedly performed by an 'electrican' for whom we were charged. We never received an electrical compliance certificate and were subsequently advised by Energy Safe Victoria to have safety repairs done ASAP. The approximate cost was $8000.

Our first job with Pipesafe Plumbing was back in 2021 when the stormwater pipes were religned. We were pleased with the end result and subsequently had them back to lay AGI drainage pipes in 2022 when the next door neighbour started building and excess drainage water was over flowing onto our property. Again was happy with the professional finish of the job from start to finish. A great team on the job and cleaned up the property totally after them.

On the 15th June we had a plumber come out to our property in Narre Warren to give us a quote. He charged $130.00 for a verbal quote which lasted 5 minutes. He quoted us $8.700 to fix a leak and install a heater. We are still waiting for a receipt for our money which is coming on the camels back. These quotes were always free. So one must be aware of the dodgy and the greedy. We paid $1.250. One star for turning up.

They charge me call out for nothing; they were very fast with the EFTPOS machine to charge me as soon as they got into my premise however, they never send me a quote, I called twice to ask for my quote, they said they are working on that, and after two weeks I am still waiting for my quote I contacted another company and quote on the same day with no call out fee.

Plumbing emergency in apartment building due to flooding caused by faulty water filter in an upstairs apartment. Dealt with Shaun over the phone and Glen the plumber. Ones mains were switched off Glen arrived and diagnosed the problem quickly. He then explained in detail the cause of the problem and how the issue should be dealt with. We recommend PipeSafe and would use them again.

We had a gas leak at the house, and we put up a job post on Hi Page. Got a call straight away, and Shaun showed up the next day and get the job done, even on a scorching hot day, for which we were grateful. But there was one thing: their service could be very expensive (~$7000 for our job). If you have time, it is recommended that you get a quote from others before locking in.

I am a tradie who lays concrete garden edging. I accidentally pierced a garden tap pipe while removing edging, it was very stressful as water was spraying everywhere. Disgusting con artists!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Tried to scam my parents into a $25,000 replacement of all our pipes. A few second opinions proved that this was completely and utterly uneccesary, and purely a ruse from a company looking to prey on the elderly.

As is the case with a lot of us I guess, I needed a plumber on short notice. They understood the scope of the work straight away and had a plumber on site quickly. Easy to deal with and work of a good standard.

Shaun was very quick to book us in for some plumbing repairs at home The team was there on time and they cleaned up and protected the floors with drop sheets. Very happy with the service I would recommend them

Absolute crooks. Ignore the 5 star reviews they are all fake. I would advise anyone who has had bad dealing with these people to contact the VBA (Victorian Building Authority) and make a complaint.

Rip off. Quoted $2600 for 13 metres of stormwater with 4x 45 degree bends picking up one downpipe in an already excavated trench. Guys rocked up late 1 star very generous
