Customer of 8 years here. As many have said, the place has gone downhill. Bought a car wash package online and had a lot of trouble using the pass. Be careful as the packages expire by a certain time frame, although this information is not listed on the website/purchase stage or the email confirmation you receive from the purchase. Management does not value their regular customers and is awful to reach for customer support. Promised a certain thing but failed to deliver. Owner,Jolly, lied about my prepaid car wash package being used with zero car wash left. However, I knew I had 1 more car wash. Asked the owner today to help reach the person who confirmed I had a certain amount of washes left in the pkg, but instead, the owner told me to find this person myself..he did not care to help and asked me to leave the property. It would be impossible to reach the person I spoke with previously because they ignore emails and calls plus the owner manages the email account and call center. To top things off, While I showed the owner i was writing a google review about my experience as a customer of 8 years, he got defensive and started knocking on my door and shouted at me to get off his property. Then started swearing at me and called me B****. What type of business would do this to a customer who was trying to explain and resolve a situation? I returned to this location after this situation and their staff confirmed I had 1 more car wash on my prepaid package. So I got confirmation that the owner lied to me. Don't get scammed and waste your time like me. Go here for an oil change and car tire change only. They are managed separately from the car wash who will scam you. Do not believe me... Check out reviews on yelp too like someone who also had a similar experience as me and said the same about the owner: "Terrible management. They stole the money for my monthly pass. I got one car wash, and when I called to complain about why they charged me more than I agreed to pay, they cancelled my pass but kept all the money. When I emailed and asked for a refund, they called me a crook. I told them that they were a crook, and they replied "it takes one to know one"!!!?"

Edit: Update, reply to their answer Should not even give 1 star, highly unprofessional people. Being run by crooks, charged me $70 for internal cleaning. Mine was last car of the day, they literally just took 10 mins and said it was done. While cars before me took approx 30- 40 mins, every nook and corner was cleaned. All the staff left, and the owner says I just work here and fled in his Corvette, now we know how he got it by making fool out of customers and mocking them. Should avoid this one, there are much better one out there. I wanted to complain to manager. They didn't provide a contact for escalation as well. My reply to your false claim below: The Dundas location said that they did not have time today to clean and that was the only conversation there, I have been cleaning my car at Dundas since 2.5 years and no issue. Since they were not able to clean today, I went to the West Mall location where I was cheated. When 4 people took 30 mins to clean the cars ahead of us , how can 2 people clean the same in 10 mins So are you saying that in country where every job is charged by an hour, $70 for 10 mins brush off of car is justified?? And on top of that one of your own employees said this type of wash is not fully performed at West Mall location. Your audacity not to accept your mistake and blame customer truly deserves claps. (read slow) Anyway there are multiple bad reviews about your shop, my bad that I did not read them. Wish I had time and energy to report cheat business like you to some concerned authorities, you guys just prove the lack of empathy and casual attitude!

**ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - $7,000 WORTH IN DAMAGES** I’ve been going to Popular Car Wash for over 5 months now as I purchased the monthly pass ($19.99). Every time I’ve come, the staff has been extremely rude and dismissive however, due to the inexpensive monthly fee, I continued going. Two months ago, I took my car through the wash and was left with $7,000 worth in damages as my car at the time (on the automatic tracks) went through the door because it did not open properly. When approaching the staff about the incident, they did not appear to care. I demanding to talk to the manager, and was told he was not there at the time and to call the number on the door. After several attempts and voicemails, I finally got through to him (Name: Jolly - his name may be Jolly But he’s far from that). The manager/ owner assured me that he would be there to greet me the following day to discuss a resolution however, when I came in, he was no where to be found. I called him several times and was ignored. This went on for about 2 weeks and then finally, after calling off an unknown number, I got in touch with him again; I was told to come to the shop again the next day. No surprise, he was not there. Furious, I contacted my insurance company in which they created a claim against Popular Car Wash. It is evident that this company does not care about their customers and the way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional. Attached are pictures of the damage as well as proof of the insurance claim.

EDIT UPDATE: Jolly called me offering to assist, but never followed through. These are small swirly micro scratches from the autowash. You can read online they are AWFUL for your car. I thought I would TRY despite the negative feedback. The manager is more concerned with his google reviews than helping his customers... He is talking below like this is the first time I have washed my car before. They probably don't clean their brushes enough and get covered in dirt/stones. ____________________________________________________________________ I had a synthetic oil change done on the car that was great! Where i'm upset is when i used the automated car cash following (they offer it free with an oil change)... I've been warned that these are rough on your cars. I took my Nissan kicks through and it scratched all four door handles on my new vehicle. The machine is far too rough on the cars. Will not return here for their car wash ever.

They are big thieves as they say something else and do something else. I went to them and asked for an oil change, their employee told me it's 92 dollars inclusive of tax for Synthetic oil and 36 dollars for normal oil plus car wash free. When they made the bill it was 120 dollars which I refused to pay because that was not as per commitment. Their employees replied that my car takes special synthetic oil and they did not even think to ask me for a higher amount than conveyed. Not only this those employees/ goons start yelling and threatened me by saying I can take my car only if I pay 120 dollars. I still acted as good after being furious for sometime and paid the amount. The biggest fraud they did is they refused to give a car wash also. These are fraudsters, please noone should go to them. I posted one review earlier also which they deleted. Big thieves cm goons just looted my hard earned money.

Had my car detailed there last week Tuesday, the 150$ package. When I picked up a car they said seats and carpets will need 24h to dry. I park my car in the warm +14C underground garage, it took 4 days to dry! seats were soaked! I had to just run the car with a seat warmer on for hours! I felt like they just pored buckets of water inside the car. My seats or carpets were not that dirty, just some water stains and I mentioned that at drop off. Carpet was still soapy and took a week for me to be able to at least put the rubber mats back on. All glass or mirror or shiny surfaces were covered with some greasy residue. I do detailing on my car at least once a year and this was the worse service ever! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

This is my To Go place to get my exterior clean but popular PLEASE READ THIS. Your interior is good but could be better. Your product leaves residue that after a day looks like smudge marks that I must brush with my hand or cloth. It’s unfortunate because I love coming here to get my car washed but the interior either needs new products or maybe you guys used the wrong product for a surface. All I’m saying is I got my inside cleaned three times here and all three times I had that sticky residue. I ended up just coming to get the exterior cleaned and then spending 30-40 minutes using your vacuum and my own materials to clean the inside. Please look into this because there’s a high chance you’re losing repeated customer.

Good efficient service and.price. However, over the past many years, I have recommended the following! At the car wash bay entrance door to place a large fish eye mirror on the left side of the entrance door on the asphalt tilted in order for the driver approaching to enter the wash bay tracks can align his front wheels. Also you have placed signs and barrels to guide the two lines to the wash bay. THOSE ARE TOO CLOSE ABD VERY TIGHT FOR A LARGER VEHICLE SUCH AN SUV OR PUCK UP TRACK!!!!!! Need to allow more room to line up as the rear wheels get caught in the track which has caused my rear tire valve (which has a sensor) to be cut and had to replace at over $200.00 dollars!!!!! Is anyone reading these threads?

I’ve been going to this location for many years with different vehicles. But a year ago purchased a new car that requires you to press on the break and put into gear and after multiple attempts and ongoing issues of asking for extra space to be left behind to safely put vehicle into gear to exit they do not seem to care. Following up with Management is very challenging unless you catch them on site. Its a cheap solution for unlimited car washes however beware that brushes aren’t change regularly and debris gets stuck in them and scratches paint. Management and staff don’t seem to care. They’re not caring or customer appreciation has let me to cancel my membership.

Very well run and maintained car wash. The owner takes excellent care of his facilities and ensures that everything is working properly. I took my truck to Popular Car Wash to get a full detail and rustproofing. They took excellent care of it and it came out spot less. The undercoating is perfect. I could not find any missed spots. The cleaning is also amazing. The entire interior was shampooed and cleaned thoroughly. The exterior is so shiny, you can see yourself in it. You have to see the pictures to believe. I feel bad getting in and making it dirty now. I highly recommend this car wash, you can not beat it.

I went there for rust-proofing my car (the Corrosion Free Zone part of the business). It's a friendly business with reasonable prices. Their service was good and I am satisfied. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the indoor space is cramped, and moving around is a bit of a challenge. Also, accessing the waiting area is through the shop, which is not very easy. Moreover, the waiting area is not very clean and don't have amenities for customers’ convenience (for instance other places have a TV, a few magazines and a coffee machine).

I've been a loyal customer of this popular car wash for two years now, and it has been a wonderful journey. The staff members have always been friendly and accommodating, except for one instance when the lady at the counter had a bit of an attitude. However, this minor hiccup didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. One of the highlights of this place is their monthly packages, which I find to be incredibly worth it. It's the perfect spot for regular patrons like me who appreciate both good service and cost-effective options.

Car wash ripped off the valve stem ; and the guys here who I’ve probably seen ten times or more walked away from my truck that broken down in front of the wash . He was more concerned about me blaming him personally after admitting that my tire was fine when I pulled in . Showed me a sign with a list of things that the wash would not be responsible for if damaged ; tires was not listed . Other parts of the car were specifically listed . So glad I have caa ppl truly could care less ! Otherwise great place to get an economic wash.

One of the worst car wash to be honest. The work they did was of poor quality and not at all appreciated. The rims were also left dirty , didn’t cleaned it properly even after paying extra for it. The staff seems careless and does not pay attention in what they are doing. Leave the internal clean but mine car exterior was also scratched and broken due the car wash. Bumper got ripped and they took no responsibility about that, talked very impolitely and what not. Not at all recommended

I bought the C package ("Complete") to get my 2021 Mazda rustproofed for the first time. The staff was very friendly and it only took about 10 minutes. I used a $10-off promo code from their website and it even comes with a free car wash afterwards since a bit of the lubricant can land on your windshield and windows. The car felt smoother when I left but more importantly I hope it protects my car in the winter. If all goes well, I'm definitely using these guys each year.

The mechanic at Popular Lube on West Mall were very helpful and sensitive to my car needs.They treated me with respect.They followed up on ordering me new seasonal.. Mechanic / technician “ Vic” made sure I understood his recommendation. I felt all 3 staff I encountered cared about service.Sadly, some other garages I have attended just didn’t have a personal touch. Go there, fair prices and extra perk a free car wash. I will continue to go for oil changes too.

I came here for car wash. Washing is not bad to be honest. But the people who work there to wash car are terrible and racist. I saw some Panjabi and other Indians. When i arrived there, there was main guy who sat on chair with turban started making fun of me. They talk bad about me and my look in Hindi. Is that how you treat customers? I could sue the company for them being racist in Canada. So company should think carefully before they hire someone

I had very bad experiences with tire replacement service, upon arrival i was try to explain tire conditions but they not listing and they force to me stay in waiting area , during the tire dynamic blanching i observed they not removed stones from tire grip and balanced. I asked to them to remove all stone and then do the tire balancing and they said it not over job they are very rude (Evic), I don’t recommend to them, very unprofessional

Experience was good, the guys promptly took my car in for rust proofing, vik was rust proofing my car in 30 mins, which was fast for a service that normally takes 1 hr. The waiting room smelled like vomit. Time will tell how beneficial this rust proofing is. This is not a no drip rust proofing because my driveway was had several oil/greasy drops, this stuff basically looks like grease on my car’s under body.

Car Wash is amazing, the vacuum too, monthly membership,last week I got an email, rust proofing, 69.99, 10% off for the members, I am, anyway, first he told me that this is the price for small cars, like Civic, I drive Hyundai Tucson, basically same size, he said for me it's $80 plus tax, so I paid $90 with taxes, no 10%, I did it as I was with 2 yeaold , I don't like such a scam

professionally well done. they have a room with mirror so you can see how they work on your car. staffs are friendly and fast efficient workers. i did my corossion free coating whole body package and i thought it would take awhile but no. never got disappointed. Thanks for working on my car! you guys earned a customer and will recommend this shop for rust coatings. Good job guys

Quick car wash service. The line moves quickly cause staff are efficient. I got the $15 lava shine wash ~ there was spots still a little dirty but it might be cause of the layers of salt. I'll probably do the unlimited wash ($24/month) since it seems like a better value. Run the car through a couple of times wouldn't take very long. The free self service vacuums are nice.

I paid for the full interior and outside service + extra for my tires and rims. Worst service ever. I had to ask the guy to clean my rims cause he forgot even after it was dirty. I had to reclean my interior and back seat. It was super dirty. I will never go back there again. If you pay for a service you want a good service. Come on now. ‍♂️

Horrible cleaning l, ive gone for two days straight and they could not wash my truck fully at the back. Ive brought up the problem with the supervisor, they offered me another cleaning, and they did horrible again. Worst car wash I have ever been in. Wish it would be possible to put zero stars becuase that is what their service deserves.

This place is a scam from the employee to the employer car wash doesn't clean your car properly and they have a sign at the front says clean graunte but tells you that it's only for $20 wash and up they are very unprofessional..no one should go there and wash scratches up your car and the vacuum doesn't do a good job

Car was nice and clean. Seats look great. Floors amazing. BUT next day turned on the HEAT , turned up the fan too and this stuff came flying out. Car was detailed on THURSDAY, this happened FRIDAY morning. Probably paper got lost while dude was cleaning the vents...who knows? Other than that, loved the results.

I called Popular Car Wash and detailing spoke with Vic we set an appointment. I returned and, in less than an hour my truck was oil sprayed , and they even offered to wash my truck after the service was completed. I was extremely happy with the undercoating job and the price was very reasonable. Thank You Vic

Treated myself to the monthly car wash and love it. Wash and vacuum are excellent. I also received 10% off my oil change there because I am a monthly member ( I didn't know this until today!) The oil change service is very good, if you're not a monthly member you get a free car wash and vacuum.

I don’t usually complain but the guys didn’t wash my car properly after paying $60 . My inside mates were wet i had to grab a cloth & dry them , marks on ma window !! Am never going there at all !! I wouldn’t recommend any one !! The guys seem busy just to rush & let you go !!☹️☹️☹️

Wow. The quality of this place has gone down so bad. The staff changed. I saw a huge scratch on my car after a car wash. I paid for the gold package which cost almost 70 dollars for a less than fifteen minutes work. They paid almost no attention to detail for a premium car wash.

I usually go to this car wash so that i can get my car washed nicely, and i can use unlimited free vacuum without any worries. Basic car wash costs $11 and you get to use vacuum free of cost. Their monthly membership is around $25 which includes 1 car wash each day.

I went there for an oil change and experienced a prompt and excellent service. I was educated about my filters and changing it was suggested and that made a world of difference in my air conditioner. I will always go to these guys for my oil change. Thanks Popular

This place was okay overall. The car wash was good. However, the interior cleaning was lackluster. There were large areas that were not cleaned inside my vehicle that I had to do on my own. I would recommend the car wash but not the interior cleaning services.

The staff wasn’t very professional. They did not dry the car seats properly. It took more us more than 5 days for it to dry and had a damp smell. I wouldn’t recommend a complete detailing from this place. The automatic car wash, however, is decent.

Calling in for a same day appointment was easy. Did not have to wait, they were ready when I arrived. Vic did an amazing job. He took time to explain the process and to cover all areas on my car (rust proofing). 5 stars. Thank you. Will be back.

Quick and efficient. I appreciate the young man at the entrance. On occasion the bottom part of the rocker panels don't get clean if there's a heavy buildup which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

The monthly car wash offer is a good one. The only thing I wish was better is the amount of soap used for monthly subscribers. It is notably different then a one time paid car wash.
