We were invited into Porters Williamstown to experience their delicious menu for lunch. Upon arrival we were greeted by the welcoming front of house and were kindly shown to our table. The interior of the restaurtant is warm, cosy and inviting. We choose a glass of wine each. The 2017 Mornington Circe Pinot noir and the 2017 Mornington Miceli Olivias Chardonnay. Both wines were light and lovely to drink. For our Entrée we had the Taleggio and Jerusalem artichoke galette and the Torched Hiramasa kingfish crudo. The galette was a very enjoyable dish and had nice smooth flavours. The kingfish was silky and had beautiful flavours. Our Mains were the Tasmanian salmon fillet and the Grilled Lamb Rump. The salmon fillet had wonderful flavours. We loved the tortellini, so delicious! The Lamb rump smelt amazing, it was a beautifully tender lamb and had lovely flavours. After enjoying such delicious entrées and mains we were looking forward to trying the desserts. The desserts were chosen for us and they were both perfect choices. The Greek yoghurt Panna cotta and the Beetroot Chocolate Brownie. The Panna cotta was beautifully plated and had delicate flavours. The brownie was absolutely delicious!! We found it to be a comfortable dining environment. The seating is nicely spread out and there was easy listening back ground music. The service was prompt and the staff were happy and friendly. A lovely dining experience. All dishes were beautifully presented. We would definitely visit again. We thank Porters Williamstown for a lovely Sunday lunch. All of our opinions are genuine and are based on our experience at the time of our visit.
Porters is an amazing venue with a lovely interior, genuine friendly knowledgeable staff and great food and drink. We came on the Labour Day long weekend Sunday and enjoyed a three course meal and cocktails. The cocktails were exceptionally made and made especially the Perfect Gin Tonic which lived up to its name. We had been wanting to try the Pampella as an alternative the Aperol so enjoyed the spritz there also. Entrees came out and we went with two of the many seafood options. The salt and pepper calamari was certainly well seasoned and tasty while the garlic and oregano prawns came in a wonderfully complex red sauce that would have been perfect in pasta but equally so on a bed of zucchini ribbons. Ordering mains was easy for me as my mother (isolating in NZ) had posted images of their slow cooked lamb roast they were enjoying making me crave lamb. The slow cooked lamb option on the menu is one you should definitely consider... best lamb I’ve had out in a couple of years. It sat on an ancient grain salad with a hazelnut dukkah, and pomegranates a plenty. KD enjoyed her crispy skinned barramundi also and they did a wonderful job with the polenta, an ingredient I’ve often found to be quite bland. For desserts we enjoyed the dark chocolate almond mousse, which was more cheesecake in its consistency and topped with a black Forrest medley of fruits and jellies. The lemon tart had an incredibly fine pastry and alternating popping a of authentic lemon curd and cream, all covered with torched meringue shards... both excellent ways to end a meal.
From the moment I walked in I knew that this was going to be a special experience. The service was welcoming and friendly. This is a casual fine dining experience in a large restaurant with polished concrete floors, nice lighting and really comfortable seating. For drinks I ordered a tahilk cabernet sauvignon and my partner ordered a pinot noir from Richmond in Southern Tasmania. Both wines were perfect, and there was an extensive cocktail list to match. For entrees I had Garlic and Oregano prawns, w zuccini, feta and pineapple salsa. The prawns were thick and juicy and everything tasted so fresh. It was absolutely delicious. My partners dish was beetroot cured salmon w pickles, avocado cream and rye crisps. The salmon just melted in my mouth, the flavours were so delicate. For mains I had cripsy duck breast w confit potato, pomegranate gel and charred broccollini. The duck was perfectly cooked, w a crispy skin, and pink in the middle. The gel was tasty and the broccollini crunchy and good texture. My partner main was homemade ricotta gnocci, w romesco, kale, almonds and pepita pesto. For dessert we shared some lemon meringue pie which was slightly sweet w a good citrus flavour. Then it was time for some chocolate mousse which was rich and flavoursome, and balanced with some seasonal fruit. Overall this was an amazing experience and this place is a must visit.
The food was bland and below average in quality. I wouldn't go here or recommend it to anyone. My husband had the grilled barramundi with chips and salad which was a small fish fillet and a massive serve of average chips and some salad mix with almost no dressing, I had the pasta which had a very dry tasteless filling and needed so much salt and pepper for seasoning. Not a night to be remembered. The service was average and the atmosphere was nice but it doesn't make up for the food. EDIT: Also got a call from the restaurant to complain about my poor review, entirely unprofessional and bordering on harassment. If you go and have a subpar experience like we did, be aware when writing a review that you may get an unsolicited call asking you to change it. I mentioned before this edit that GST was not included on the prices on the menu [after my phone call with the restaurant I took that down, however upon checking the menu and my receipt again, I'm mentioning it here] and that it was only added onto the final bill, a statement by which I stand by, a meal priced on the menu at approximately $93 ended up costing us just over $102. Dishonest establishment and I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Our Dinner here started well we ordered the hummus, calamari and Halloumi entree which were great. Unfortunately this is where our experience went South. Our mains arrived about 45mins after our entrees, our table of 5 order the duck x2, eye fillet (med rare), lamb shoulder and ravioli. 2 dishes were stone cold which we asked to send back along with the steak which was near on well done, they then gave me a lesser steak as apparently they didn’t have another eye fillet but charged for the eye fillet. I generally don’t sent plates of food back however when you charge $35+ for mains customers have a certain expectation of the quality of their food. Even after we made our frustrations known we were charged full whack, the owner did offer a glass of wine but I already had a full glass so declined, owner didn’t seem interested in acknowledging our concerns or providing a solution. Also had a hair in an ice cube in of the drinks. really hope the owner reads this and turns things around as what we were served up was not good enough. it’s such a nice setup and has a great ambience.

I do not usually write a negative review but this time I have to as we have been abused racially by the lady manager (Helen) Background: I have called the restaurant at 6 pm to book for 9 pm as my friend was paying soccer and wanted to have late dinner with him and his family on Friday night. hence, restaurant website advertised as open until 11 PM. I have tried 4 times to call the restaurant but phone was diverted to voicemail. I have left the message as well. However, we did turn up at the restaurant at 9 pm and while entering the restaurant. Lady manager (Helen) stopped at the door and said " YOUR NATIONALITY people have late dinner ...BLA BLA..chef went to home already". She did not even bother to listen to us or try to understand the situation. I have proved in front of her that the restaurant phone was diverted to voicemail. we very sad to experience unacceptable behavior from Helen. We will not going back and message to Helen ' do not judge people by skin colour or nationality'. We felt disgusted!
The restaurant space was obviously designed by an architect with a sense of style; simple and unpretentious timber and tones of grey; welcoming and easy to relax into. Drinks? I had a particularly nice Italian prosecco (with a locally grown main to average out the food miles); others had a lovely Siderit (Spanish) gin. The food matched the décor: simple, stylish and expertly done. Gently-spiced pumpkin hummus with some chickpea crunch was an ideal entrée. My orange and ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers came with saffron pilaf and spice rubbed vegetables. Others had beautifully cooked, tender-pink duck or fall-apart pork belly with a delightful, crunch skin attractively served onto warmed crockery – all uniformly approved of. It would have been easy not to share a rosewater custard dessert. It came with pink pistachio fairy floss. I would have used green in honour of Mem Fox’s "Where’s the Green Sheep?"
The place definitely had a cool and trendy vibe. Staff was nice enough but was a bit slow that night as it seems like there was a big booking. Entrees (pictured) were delicious very, gastropub-esque, so was looking forward to the mains. However, it was a bit of a let down. I had the crispy skin barramundi that was not crispy, but was cooked well. A friend had the lamb and it was totally under seasoned. Then we ordered all 3 desserts which were ok. Nothing special, citrus tart was on the eggy side and coconut panna cotta had a very subtle coconut flavour. Overall it was a decent meal, but more like an overpriced pub meal. Cocktails and wines were good!

We started going to Porters before Covid for Breakfast as we found it a nice quiet place to take our then German Shepherd Pup and one of the Waitresses seem to be very taken with our dug and used to bring her a small plate of Ham so we could not help but go back until Covid started. More recently we have been going for Dinner and have to say it's arguably the best Restaurant in Williamstown in our experience. Last night we had a even better service then normal with the staff on last night where simply amazing particularly the Sommelier who knowledge and personality was amazing but we also watched him training a new member of staff and was very impressed. The food not cheap for a local restaurant but the quality is most certainly worth it.
waited an hour after getting the possibly the worst cosmopolitan cocktail ive experienced in my whole entire life. Ordered the 250g potterhouse for $48, and what utter disappointment. A measly poor looking potterhouse cut, with 2 asparagus on the plate. Quite the worst time i've had out, only saved by having company. Should have stayed at home and just whipped up some steak from woolies. 'MSA grade with seasonal greens' supposedly like they didn't just whip two asparagus out from the trash can and chuck it on the plate. Edit: Without a doubt i had the cosmopolitan, and yes it was 2 brocollini and not asparagus, i apologise.

We were fortunate enough to get married here! Zoey couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were also lucky enough to meet up with our other vendors in the space for a drink and nibbles so they could familiarise themselves with the space ahead of time. So many compliments on the food, atmosphere and fabulous team!
Vegetarian options
Venue was very accomodating of our guests with dietary requirements.
Kid-friendliness
Although probably a nice venue for adults to have some drinks and relax our younger guests were just as welcome and loved the food!
Wheelchair accessibility
Easy and wide ramp access for a wheelchair user which is also pram friendly!
Unfortunately we had quite a bad experience here last night. The restaurant was very full, with a number of large groups. The waiting staff didn’t seem sufficient for the number of patrons. The noise levels from the large groups, exacerbated by the concrete surfaces, was extremely unpleasant. We had to yell to hear each other and my ears were still ringing for hours after we left. We waited about an hour for our mains to be served, and the two guests on my table, who had ordered duck, said it was served cold. The vegetable sides we ordered were forgotten. My chicken wrapped in prosciutto was nice, which is why I have given one star.
Visited Porters for dinner and we absolutely loved it. Loved the modern and stylish decor inside and it was spacious. There was a good range on the menu and we decided to try their King Fish Ceviche and Prawns for entree and they were amazing. Loved the addition of Halloumi with the grilled prawns. For our mains, we had the lamb rump and the porterhouse steak and they were cooked well. They came with greens and vegetables. They have an extensive drinks menu as well and we went with the Elderflower Spritz and the Gin and Tonic. We enjoyed our meal here and the service was amazing. Loved the recommendations given by the staff
My husband and I got married last Saturday and celebrated with lunch after the ceremony. Helen was incredibly attentive in the weeks leading up to the 20-person lunch, even accommodating menu changes as we approached our special day (They allowed us to pre-order from their whole menu). Everyone commented on the top-notch quality of the food as well. Their service was over and beyond, including throughout the lunch - both Helen and Scott were nothing but a breath of fresh air. We couldn't recommend this restaurant more, and we ourselves are looking forward to going back again sometime.
From the moment I contacted the porters, Zoey has been incredibly accommodating. She responded promptly to all of my inquiries and was eager to collaborate with me to ensure the evening went smoothly. On the night of the event, the venue was arranged flawlessly, and Zoey and her team were extremely efficient. The food surpassed our expectations and was truly outstanding. Overall, the venue, food, and service were exceptional, and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

FULL REVIEW @ THEPENGUINEATS.COM A newly opened eatery along seaside Williamstown, Porters offers an enticing Modern Australian menu characterised by fresh, quality produce that forms the basis of every dish. Superbly executed and with bits of international influences thrown in, we found our lunch not only exceptionally tasty, but also surprised on the palate as well - like the Lamb with hints Mediterranean spices, and the Greek inspired Garlic Prawns. All paired with a superb cocktail list, Porters is perfect for long endless lunches or a memorable, refined dinner.
Service was SHAMEFUL! There must be new management. We wanted to order more food and drinks however it was increadbly hard to get someones attention which is ridiculous since it is such a small restaurant. Everytime I said excuse me to the staff they'd look straight ahead and keep walking or they'd say "one second" then never came around to us. And there were only about 5 tables when we were there. Food was fine but if im being honest, the bad service really outweighed the quality of the food. Save your time and money everyone. Really disappointing
I've been to this restaurant a few times. I quite like the taste but am never a fan of the portion size. In general, I don't mind trading big portion with good taste. However, last time I ordered a seafood chowder for take away (not the pouch but the ready to eat version). I asked specifically if it was freshly made and they said yes. However, when I got the chowder it was only mildly warm. I am convinced that they microwaved it. To be fair, I don't mind the taste but the fact that they lied to me makes me feel very uncomfortable.
I cannot speak more highly of the team at Porters Williamstown in hosting events and functions! I hosted my bridal shower event with their team and in the weeks leading up to the occasion everything ran so seamlessly and professionally. On the day of the event many of my guests commented on their exceptional service and delicious food! Highly recommend Porters Williamstown and will definitely return to wine and dine in the future!

We accidentally came across this new bar/restaurant last Friday at the far right end of Nelson's place amongst the newer estate's in Willie. To our surprise it was their first night so we were treated with that extra old fashion service; professional yet friendly waiters. Modern & ultra chic- everything smelled fresh from the decor, furniture, cutlery to the food. We had few tappas; calamari was tender full of flavour, sweet potato wedges, mixed spice chicken wings all equally tasty. Check out the new Willie it's there to stay!
New place, at least for us. Fusion menu is good idea, but if they decided to have a fusion menu they need to focus on flavor highlights from contributors. we felt that some Asian dishes were missing hint of spiciness. Having said this we really enjoyed our meals. Service was really good. Jordan ( name of the person looking after us) have done his job well. the restaurant was a bit noisy for us ,but this probably was because there were a few parties at the same time otherwise the facilities are excellent.
Food was below average, not even on par with any old pub in inner west. They cost a lot more and comes in tiny portion. We came here in a large group and at least 10 other people feel the same way as I did. The furniture and decor is nice. That’s the only positive thing I can say about the restaurant. Really have no idea how they have such good reviews.

Been here twice now. first time was fantastic. Last night was pretty ordinary. We had a reservation for 7.45 and waited for over half an hour just to be seated. Cocktails were delivered fairly quickly however the quality of them was pretty poor. They were quite bland and tasteless. The food was great and what we'd expect for the price, however the service was awful. We waited well over an hour for anything to show up. My critique would be to improve on your service times a bit.
Best meal, service combo in a long time. The staff were attentive and able to help with recommendations. Service was timed well and wine choice was perfect. This restaurant is perfect for a celebratory meal or casual dining, steaks are great. My husband reckons their chips are “the best I’ve had in ages” We will definitely be back. The alcohol free drink selection was good too

Local restaurant which was fantastic but service has dropped off, took 45 mins to be get my drink, a bottle of wine we ordered was left on the table unopened, I wasn't drinking the wine but was not asked if I wanted another drink. A big NO NO, our waitress chewed gum all night. Before this visit we had dined several times (always a table of 6 - 8) and had the best service and food. Very disappointing, we will be hard pressed to return.
Away from the bustle of the row of restaurants in Williamstown, but not too far. Special Sunday lunch of $40 for two courses. Excellent value for such quality food. All our dishes pictured were a high quality. Especially liked the pan fried barramundi with a white mussel sauce. Seating inside and outside. Too hot for outside but the ambience inside was great. Arrived late but they served us after the official 3 pm close.
Are you willing to travel for good food and impeccable service? Because we are Williamstown isn’t any where close to us but it is so worth the drive! Like I said food was fantastic especially the black Angus scotch fillet and also the crispy duck breast but let’s not forget the delicious cocktails salted caramel mud slide and my French 75! Looking forward to revisiting with some family and friends who live near by!
First time been here, atmosphere is amazing and calm. Customer service is brilliant and staff willing to take on feedback and judgement. Well mannered staff. Coffee amazing. Josh (waiter) was very friendly, accommodating and ensure all services were met in a timely and professional manner. Breakfast was served very fast. I will be coming back with no hesitation!!!!! Very classy restaurant in a cafe style.
You did me a favour, in more ways than one, when you delivered lamb and a bottle of good wine, to me a couple of weeks ago. It was outstanding. Everything, including each vegetable, cooked perfectly. Beautiful. Balanced flavours. Also, I asked for it to be delivered at 6:30. It arrived at 6:30. Still thinking about that dish...wish I was on holidays at Williamstown right now. I'd book a table tonight.
During this weird CV19 experience, not many places in Williamstown are open. Two big signs drew us in and a beautiful, friendly woman by the name of Helen, offered us a free beer and took our order. It was a heat at home order and the food was immaculate. She even reminded me that she had ordered tomato juice, as she remembered my name and I had asked for a Bloody Mary before. Support these guys!!!
I’ve had the most wholesome experience, Great wine great atmosphere and most importantly the food and service was second to none. Even though there was a big table full of guests our meals were quick out of the kitchen and cooked beautifully. I can’t thank the head chef and waitresses enough! Can’t wait to come back and bring my family . Porters is a true gem in Williamstown 5/5 stars
Our first time there, not expecting much, we were very pleasantly surprised by Porters food and service. All the food was DELICIOUS and the service was exceptional. Amongst us we had a mushroom pasta, a steak and a seafood chowder + lovely fresh sides. + A burger and a pasta were devoured by the children, despite the large portions. The ambience was lovely. Can't wait to go back.
A fantastic new restaurant for Williamstown. Well thought out, interesting menu - with some wonderful seafood dishes - both smaller and larger plates. Food was fresh, inventive, and good quality. A broad, creative wine and drinks list. Service was second to none - attentive, understanding, Wonderful to finally have a good restaurant on Nelson Place. We can't wait to go back.
Went on a Sunday night max about 4 other tables. Very good decor and vibe. A bit pricey - mains require a side or two especially if not ordering a starter; 10 bucks for some broccoli (about 5 stems) and same again for about 10 green beans. Was contemplating a dessert but after mains were cleared we waited for 20 mins before any service came and therefore just got the bill.
A wonderful new addition to Williamstown, we have attended a few times now for breakfast and dinners. The ceviche starter and duck red curry have been my favourites so far, absolutely delicious! The service and decor are just wonderful, the staff are so friendly and attentive. A fantastic place to dine or just chill out with some wine and cheese, thanks Porters!
The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Zoey and the team were super attentive and we really enjoyed our special night.

Lamb and red duck curry were beautifully presented and tasted even better. For $28 the red duck curry is the best value food of that quality I have seen anywhere. Very satisfied and will return to try other dishes. I also believe Kim Clijsters was having lunch there today also, can that be confirmed or was it a doppelganger?
The Red Duck Curry, the rare Teriyaki beef and the Barramundi were all delicious. I recommend you try this place. A pleasant ambient outlook. I will go back again alone. This was my son's birthday and the first meeting of his bride to be so I made sure that Tilley and Julian looked after us. Ah, I forgot the tip. Next time.
Food was just okay. Absolutely not worth the price, and servings are small. Place is old school formal and has very few vegetarian options. I would go somewhere else for better vibes and food.

We spent Christmas Day at Porters this year & what a lovely experience it was. We were treated like family all day by the wonderful staff, particularly Helen & Jenny & made to feel that there was nobody else in the restaurant but ya. Delicious food & excellent service. Great vibe & not too noisy. Will definitely be back.
We were here for dinner last weekend. Had a fantastic experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive to everything we needed. Helen in particular made a really great impression on us. The food was great and really good value for money in my opinion which just topped it off. Will definitely be coming back again.
Finally some good food in Williamstown! Just went there for dinner for our anniversary. Was greeted very warmly by Helen who very kindly poured us 2 glasses of champagne in celebration! We shared 7-8 dishes and all were very tasty and varied. Great fresh seafood! Pricing was very reasonable considering the quality.
Strange location as dying bae across the road were main customer. No one around that end yet but it is developing.. Ok commercial blend coffee merlo. Average food offerings. Need front door fixed. Poor retainannce of staff so poor continuity of client relationship. Bracksy would end up here with his mamil crew.
I have been here a handful of times and the food and service is always great. Love the menu and wine list. I also ordered some Charcuterie boxes for Christmas events. Massive winner, so much easier than buying it all and good value for $65.00. Quality ingredients and enjoyed by everyone. I’ll be back for more!
Sooooo good! We ordered from the online menu as an early Fathers Day dinner for 4 of us. Amazing. My husband said it was the best meal he had had in months. We got the oysters, beef cheek, marinara and the charcuterie board (which we are still picking at!). Can't wait until we can eat in. Well done Porters. FT
The staff are lovely, but don’t order the eye fillet, they have no idea how to cook it to your liking. My first one wasn’t medium rare, it was well done, second one wasn’t eye fillet, but at that point I couldn’t be bothered. Sorry Zoe, not impressed! My choir friends seemed to be happy with what they got.
Food was of a good quality but unfortunately the slow… painfully slow service detracted from the meal and experience. At a higher price point this needs to be improved… on numerous occasions we had to try and gain any attention to place orders… inclusive of food and wine. Disappointed to be honest.
Amazing attentive service at average prices, loved the service and atomshere, dark lighting to set the calming mood and whisper quiet to hear yourself. The food is amazing for the price, and cocktails cheap and yummy! They even provided candles with our BYO cake without asking …
Food was nice, service was good, and setting was nice. The issue was the menu was a striped down version from what was on the website. This was disappointing. The drinks menu in restaurant was out of date. The price was expensive for what was provided comparable to similar restaurants.
My friend and I went to Porters on Sunday for lunch. After being in lockdown it was wonderful to catch up here. We had a lovely lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect part of Nelson Place as you don't get the crowds walking past in their droves if you're eating outside.
Had dinner there today, the pulled pork croquette was delicious, but ordered the $55 Angus steak with chips, which was not worth at all, ordered medium rare and came well done, really dry also, and the chips are the same ones you can buy from coles. Not worth the money. Disappointed
We had a really great date night at Porters - the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the chairs were very comfortable! We’ll definitely be back, we feel like we’ve found a gem of a restaurant in Williamstown

Had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night with my family and throughly enjoyed it. It has a great atmosphere and the food and service was top notch. We had a great night and all agreed we will definitely be visiting this restaurant again soon. Highly recommended a visit.
Nice. A little noisy, with hard surface floors, walls and ceilings. Price is nice. Food is delicious, and plenty (not huge meals, - and not hungry, definitely enough. Service was a little slow and 'interesting'. Will go again. Because overall, a pleasant evening, and good food
Best hidden secret in Williamstown! I loved everything about this place. From the serviettes to the wine glasses and the plates. Excellent wines even by the glass and the food is just to die for. Explosions in your mouth with every dish you order and great service too.
We had a wonderful meal. From start to finish every bite was marvelous. So happy that most of the meals have not chilli, too! Everything we ate - we tried 6 different items on the menu from starters, main, dessert and coffee were exceptional . We will be back.
First night, few very forgivable hiccups, but great new spot. Nice to see a more diverse wine list than a page full of bottles that are all the same. Food was beautifully presented and we can’t wait until the full menu is available. We will be regulars.
Had a nice quiet evening, very nice atmosphere and service, food a little pricey in comparison but did not disappoint.

Great meal, delivered on-time and piping hot, all food traveled well. Loved the lamb ribs, crispy barramundi with chorizo, and calamari, all perfect, and a decent meal size as well makes great value for money. One of Williamstowns best restaurants.
Went Saturday night for dinner. Ordered the Duck and steak for mains. Both were woefully under seasoned and the duck was so overcooked and dry it was almost inedible. The entrees were not much better in my opinion. Will not be returning again.
We have had coffee only at porters it's a good spot away from the busy part of Williamstown they have a good food menu prices a little high, unfortunately like some places that have limmit space, if the is a function on the doors are closed .
5 sliced prawns (2.5 whole prawns) with 34 leaves (saying as salad) is a $15 AUD meal. Are you serious??? This should go to consumer court. #ripoff #moneyhungry restaurant. I've got photos as evidence if someone wants to argue on this.
Just got the Porters At Home meals for the family and give them a 10 out of 10. Meals were exactly as per the pictures, flavours were great and very reasonable price. Meals took a few mins to heat up on the stove, and we all enjoyed them.
Nice spaces for formal meal or casual catch up. Understated classy; Not stuffy or pretentious though. Kids menu including healthy options like chicken breast and steamed veggies. Nice old fashioned service, attentive but not overbearing.
Lovely place to meet and chat with friends. Not noisy. Only problem I had was very limited selection of desserts for people with dietary requirements. Need to be more creative in that department. Otherwise a bit pricey but good service.
Just finished an absolutely lovely lunch (set menu) at Porters. Chermoula Lamb (best ever tasted) and Flathead (delicious) mains, great ambiance and service...two hours well spent. :-) Highly recommended. Thanks again to Porters!
Just had an amazing meal and experience at the wonderful Porters, we were looked after by Mel and her service and smile was the final touch to a perfect meal. Would recommend this place to anyone, the calamari was to die for!!!
Thank you Zoey and staff for a wonderful afternoon. Your professionalism, attention to detail and customer service were fabulous. Thank you for making our 51st Birthday celebration a success! Laura and Clara. Xx
A fabulous menu and good wine selection. A fantastic meal but what made it special was the service. Attentive, thoughtful and good recommendations. Thank you, Bojana! Looking forward to many more nights here.
Amazing vibes at this place! Helen is the most magical woman and made the experience incredible! Had a few bottles wine and some sharing platters before a festival and it was the perfect start to our day.
Porters Williamstown is such a phenomenal restaurant. Hands down the best service I've seen in a long time. Helen is such a good host. The Italian Pinot Grigio is great. Couldn't recommend Porters higher.
The best food we’ve had in Williamstown for years! The service from Helen and the team was perfect, very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend the brownie for dessert if you can fit it in!
The food was great and the service was excellent. Thanks to all the staff who made our night comfortable, especially Helen. We will definitely be adding this to our list of regular places. Try it out!
The food and service for a family function we had here recently was wonderful. Highly recommend.

This is an absolute stunner of a restaurant. Food is brilliant with an extensive menu. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Cloth napkins a nice touch. Definitely a venue for a return visit.
Only one staff member on. Ages waiting for two coffees. Wanted breakfast but had to walk out as would take too long. Waited 20 mins and order not taken (nor looking like it would anytime soon)
Good food and drinks list. On a busy night the staff did a great job to take care of everyone's needs. We'll happily dine out at Porters again.

Beautiful spot for lunch. We had oysters with a bottle of the Italian Pino Grigio, was absolutely divine. Helen was a gorgeous, bubbly host. Definitely will be back here. Great job guys

Very good service and management responded to my billing enquiry with such glee. They could have not responded but they did. Wish i lived closer and would visit more frequently

Poor experience, we were ignored by the staff at the table. Quite disappointed & it’s a shame that the new management has made the place go down hill.
Fantastic service and excellent food. The staff are so friendly attentive, fantastic cocktails too. Definitely recommend this place …
Lovely food, reasonable price for the quality, really nice atmosphere and attentive service.

I Went on Fathers day with a group and had an amazing day, great food with great and friendly staff makes for a great venue! Highly recommend!!
The service wasn't that great. Went to get drinks and had to be one of the last people served when I got there before most people. Not swell..
We absolutely love Porters! It’s such a big favourite of our family. The dishes are always absolutely delicious. One of the best in the area!
Great breakfast today, they were VERY busy, staff run off their feet so there was a but of a wait. Great staff and they coped really well.
Always welcomed by friendly staff. A delicious menu and fantastic wine and cocktail list. Thoroughly recommend Porters, a great venue!
Beautiful food and great service. Much easier to find car parks in Williamstown. Still so close to the waters, beautiful environment.
Had such a wonderful time. Alor of cocktail options and I loved the intimacy of the restaurant’s atmosphere :) amazing desserts too!
Delicious, oysters and gin tonight, plus dessert. So yummy and the service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long either.
Lovely menu, and great service. Wonderful wine list. We had a fantastic experience.
