TLDR; Dodgy practices. Expensive. I was charged $1700 for replacing front brakes and lower control arms in Volvo and I haven't been shown any proof what and why was replaced. +$500 for service. I left my car for service. Paid $500 which seems quite normal price for this area. Then I was told that I need to replace Lower Control Arms and front brake pads and disks. I agreed total price $2200. I picked up my car as agreed on Friday afternoon and I was told that there is no one to explain the repairs/tax invoice as all mechanics already left. I was surprised being charged per each disk and per each control arms, but once for pads. I paid and left a note to the person working there to send me pictures of the broken parts and new boxes. So I called on Monday afternoon to find out that all of it have been already disposed and they are sorry. 2 stars as it all got done quickly, the same day.

I had my Volvo's blue slip inspection done here, and it was such a fantastic experience that I wanted to leave a review. Angelo and Matt took care of servicing my car, and both of them were incredibly friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with their service. During the inspection, it was determined that I needed to replace the PCV device, and they promptly provided an estimate and carried out the replacement on the same day. The cost of the estimate was also more affordable compared to the dealer's prices, and they explained the condition of my car with confidence and clarity. I believe this garage is truly outstanding. With Angelo and Matt on board, I feel confident that I can continue to drive my V60 for a long time without worries. I highly recommend this garage.

I cannot rave about Precision Auto enough. Mechanics can have a bad reputation for taking advantage of people/women who know nothing about cars (like me). If you are worried about this like I was, know you can 100% trust these guys. I have been going to them for about 5 years, and I am so lucky I chose them after a couple of poor experiences with other mechanics. Angelo and Matt always go above and beyond, not just in service of the car, but then in giving advice and explaining repairs. As an added bonus, they happen to be great people. I have referred a couple of people to them, and will continue to do so. They are so well priced and the best in Sydney in my opinion. They have a customer for life in me, I highly recommend them!

"Customer service is not dead" I recently moved to Rosebery and when my car needed service I decided to look at Google reviews. I came across glowing reviews regarding Precision Automotive Services at first I thought they sounded too good to be true, but honestly Matt is amazing! This is the first time I've ever had my car serviced without it needing any major work. Matt, actually said it was in good condition something I've never heard before. Matt, is honest, friendly and extremely informative. I have nothing but praise for Matt and his team, truly do yourself a favor for peace of mind look no further.

My Volvo C30 air conditioning had stopped blowing cold, and after three hours at an actual Sydney Volvo service centre, they threw up their hands, charged me for their time and said they couldn’t diagnose it and would need to pull the dash apart and have the car for a week at least. $350 for the privilege of this non-diagnosis, and thousands in labour to come. Seeking a second opinion, I brought my car to Precision, and within a day I had my air conditioning restored for the palatable sum of $780. I will forever forgo the Volvo dealership in favour of bringing my C30 here. Thank you Precision!

Awesome customer service. As a guy who knows nothing cars I feel as though I was treated with the upmost honesty and respect from precision. I was looking for a Volvo specialist and decided to take my Volvo in for a service after reading so many positive reviews. Another shop in Bondi had overcharged me for a replacement light bulb which was a cheap Chinese defective bulb that fused Inna week of use, they wanted to charge me for inspecting the "problem" as well. Came to Matt for a second opinion, he replaced the bulb at a cheaper price and with a good quality bulb that works perfectly now. Would highly recommend their services.

Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else! As a young female, you hear a lot of negative stories about women taking their cars to the mechanic but I have been taking my car to Precision Automotive for a couple years now and would not go anywhere else. I needed a very fast and prompt pink slip as I left my car registration to the last minute (it expired that same day). After a google search I can across Jack and his team at Precision. I cannot recommend Precision any higher, these guys are on top of their game when it comes to information and communication, but recently absolutely went out of their way to help out during a tough personal situation, I can't say I have ever experienced better service, and for everyday situations their services are always priced fairly.

They did not charge me and there is just a good energy about this place and the people running it. Spent $4500 in 2012, on a neglected 850 wagon. Jack said it would be worth it. Angelo then worked his magic spanners. Looking back now it was the best money spent.850 is going strong today. You can take Jacks words as gospel. No smoke and mirrors !
