Staff in Second World in Menton, Victoria have extremely poor customer service. The first time we went there to buy something (on Black Friday), there were only 2 staff and they did not serve customer even thought we did not need much time, we just wanted to pay for the item, but they did not want to serve us (don't know if they think we go there to beg for their money or some sort). The second time we went there to ask for warranty, there were many staff there, we saw two staff at the counter and we went there stand up in front of them with the returned item and they stared at us and did not say anything, even just a word "Hello". So, we stand up there for a while and wait for them to ask us if we need anything. We waited there for about 10 to 15 minutes, they were still staring at us and talk to each other. So, we had to look around to see if there was any staff waking around the store to ask for the warranty. They did not care about warranty. It seems to be once you buy an item from them, you are 100% loosing your money even if the item is broken. Feed up with the store. Will never come back there ever again. Bye bye Second World. You better hire some staff that really do the job.

I purchased an oven online and after 2 weeks I did not receive any updates on when it was going to be delivered. I called Betta Fawker and spoke to Jim who then told me the oven I bought was out of stock. He then offered me another oven similar in specs. He then offered to sell it to me at "cost price" which I agreed to as I just needed an oven. He then told me an electrician would be in contact with me. However 1 week later nobody has contacted me. So disappointed because Jim has simply sold me some leftover oven that he had out in the back to get rid of his remaining stock and did not even price match. I don't understand how your business is still running when stores like The Good Guys provide much more seamless process.

Ordered a new fridge at Betta online and the order was fulfilled by Fawkner store. Order placed 7pm Sunday night and Jim called me just a touch after 9am Monday morning, offering a delivery within the hour! Incredible service considering Betta online suggests 2-5 business days turnaround. Amazing service from Roger the delivery driver as well - it’s meant to be door to door with no unboxing but it wouldn’t fit through my doorway. So he unboxed it, rolled it in, and even cut up the box to make it easier for me to pop it in the recycling bin. Truly awesome from this local business.

Purchased an oven on line for a gas emergency. Purchased through this store because it said they had it. 1 &1/2 weeks later still no oven. Turns out they don’t have it. Spoken with manager Joe multiple times. All three occasions he promised me for a phone call right back after confirmation of oven. Not once did he honour that. Happy to take your money but like a car dealer quick to forget shortly after To the general public that reads their copy and paste response. Note that they ask that I follow up

Ordered a small item online. Nothing happened for 10 days. Emails to store ignored. Finally got a response from parent group after complaining. Yesterday got a message that "my item has arrived"—presumably they're drop shipping / delivering from the warehouse, but via their franchise stores. "Logistics are away today", i.e. they can't send a parcel on the Monday. Next day a voicemail at 4:30pm, which rather than explaining what was going on asks to call them back. It's like shopping online decades ago.

Betta? Try worse. Bought a refrigerator under a promotion, where each purchase earned you a $100 visa gift card and a Bluetooth speaker. The Bluetooth speaker never materialised. The visa didn’t either, though not for trying. We contacted the customer service people once, they told us that they mailed the card, and then left it at that. They did not respond to us after that. If it looks like a scam, smells like a scam, must be a scam. You can do better than Betta.

10/10!!! Our experience dealing with Elaine exceeded our every expectation! She is an asset to the Betta Team! She went out of her way to help us find an appliance and was prompt in locking one in for us! She was patient when our payment methods kept declining and assisted us through the process. We will come back to Betta Fawnker for the rest of our major appliances just on this one experience with Elaine she is AMAZING! Thank you again!!

Bought a new fridge from Elaine at the Fawkner store. Elaine went above and beyond to find what I wanted and her customer service and advice was awesome. Being in COVID Lockdown, I had to purchase over the phone and relied on the sales person to guide me. This was done with great support from Elaine, much appreciated her customer service- would certainly recommend this store to anyone looking for great customer service.

After a lot of problems with another retailer trying to organise an urgent fridge purchase, it was great to call the Fawkner Betta store, speak to a real human (Jim), confirm the product was in stock and get next day delivery organised on the spot. The staff were really responsive and helpful, even when plans changed at my end. Fully recommend Fawkner Betta - they were great to deal with and prices were excellent also.

My elderly father (90) who has mobility and other health issues wanted to buy himself an air conditioner. He didn't want the family to organise this for him. He rode his mobility scooter up Sydney road to Bella and the wonderful staff made sure Dad was looked after. Thank you Sam and Con for providing fantastic customer service to Dad and making sure everything went smoothly for him.

Con helped me with my purchase! It was a phone order, he re assured me that my items are in stock and in good condition after taking a minute to check. He also made a really good price and arranged delivery for me. He was very honest and reliable over the phone and made the sale very easy! You have some really good staff, I hope you appreciate them :)

Update: spoke to paul who is trying to source a new combo for me after the last one broke down and went through hell with their insurance company. if a suitable replacement is found within a reasonable time i will be very happy and update this to five stars. Well done Paul for redeeming mistakes made by your employees. They came through great job guys

Products are good quality, however service was terrible. It took two weeks to get in contact after the order was placed and it only happened because I repeatedly emailed them. If you need an item quickly, it’s probably best to look elsewhere!

I bought a $1,949 Fisher & Paykel fridge from their website and it was never delivered. I spoke to Paul and he never returned my call or my money. No refund, no fridge. Watch out—Paul is using his work to scam money from you!

Purchased a Click and Collect that was supposed to be ready the next day. Over a week later, multiple phone calls with promises to return calls and no returned calls, the item still wasn’t there. Would not recommend
