Negative experiance and difficult to contact. I had ordered flowers to be sent to a colleague on a Saturday, and she wasn't home to receive them because she had left for vacation (which I was not aware of until the following monday. Pretty pots called me the Monday after and left a message explaining that they couldn't get a hold of her but had tried to deliver multiple times and asked me to call them back to figure out the next steps. I called them roughly 4-5 times throughout that week but had to leave a message or receive an automated voice saying their mailbox was full and to try calling again. I did finally get a hold of them Tuesday the following week but was told that I needed to speak with the manager as the flowers were still in the fridge but that employee was unsure of any extra costs that might be associated with all of the failed attempts to deliver so far. I had no issue with this, so I waited to be contacted as I was told. They called me again today (Friday of the week after the flowers were to be delivered) and when I spoke with them I was told the arrangement had been thrown out as it was too old to deliver and that I would either have to pay additional fees to send a new arrangement plus delivery or they would refund me half of what my original arrangement costed and keep the rest plus the delivery fee. I understand that the flowers cost money, and they did attempt to deliver multiple times, which is not their fault. However, I had contacted them MANY times the week of delivery but was unable to contact them when the flowers would have still been viable, and I was told by the staff that the manager would contact me before the arrangement was discarded so we could discuss options, which did not happen. When I mentioned that on the phone, i was told "they would have been thrown out by that point anyways." So now I'm out delivery fee plus half of the arrangement and have had no flowers delivered nor vase that went with it because I couldn't get a hold of them and they threw out my arrangement before speaking with me.

I had a negative experience with this business a few years back, however, when I reached out on social media to ask for recommendations for a florist in Stitsville 4-5 people (a friend of mine included) said they received beautiful arrangements from this business. So I thought my experience a few years ago was a one off. I called in the morning and ordered a bouquet I advised that I would be there to pick them up around 1:30. I was told they would be ready at 1 “just in case”. We were running a bit behind but I checked the store hours which indicated they were open until 4 so I didn’t call to advise I was running late. I arrived shortly after 2 to a sign on the door saying that the store was “Closed at 2 due to staffing issues”. If there was an emergency I would have been understanding. But that’s not what the sign indicated. I did not receive a call advising they would need to close, I was not told that the store would close at 2. They knew I was coming as I explained I needed the flowers for this afternoon. In fact, I even prefaced the conversation asking if a bouquet could be done up on short notice and was told absolutely. I hope people see this review and the other posts that advise that this business is unreliable. Beautiful arrangements only get you so far there should be an undercurrent of respect not only for customers but people that set a foundation for your business.

I gave them a one Star only because I could int give them a zero. I see some of these reviews must be family & friends and or fake. This place is not BBB Accredited and for good reason. See for yourself before you read more. Unbelievable bad service at this Flower shop. They are so unprofessional I am not even sure they actually do flowers. I placed an order 4 days ago for delivery. A delivery that never happened with zero attempts. They take your money and disappear. Buyer Be aware!!!! I Spoke to the owner Courtney today Dec 11th at 12:09pm and she definitely had the I don’t care attitude. It sounded like a fake flower shop. She lied repeatedly and told me that she had delivered a notice to my mother trying to get a hold of her and also left a note at the door. Unfortunately for her my mother doesn’t leave her home and the cameras at the location tell a different story. Why wouldn’t she attempt to call me as a customer to advise. This place has no problems taking your money and that is fraud. Police will be called as I want my money back. Stay away.

If I could give a 100 star rating I could. Not only were they incredibly responsive and accommodating, the flower arrangements they created for my mother’s 50th birthday were absolutely stunning!! I provided a photo of what I had in mind and they went above and beyond to create beautiful flower arrangements (even better than the photo I provided). I have also bought a few plants for myself from Pretty Pots. The employees and owner took the time to explain what kind of plants they were as well as the kind of care they require. Their customer service is outstanding and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for stunning flowers & plants with fantastic customer service. Would rate 10/10 or higher if I could. I reached out to Pretty Pots in preparation for wedding florals. Courtney was quick to respond, kind and friendly. She helped to take my rather vague vision and turn it into something absolutely breathtaking. The quality, style and effort of the bouquets, fresh garland, boutonnières, corsages we’re beyond perfect and the addition of the Scottish thistle for our wedding was touching. Plus the bouquets came in cute little vases great for my bridesmaids to keep! Bonus! Thank you so much!!!!!!

Courtney was extremely accommodating to our budget, and was one of the few vendors who really understood what we were looking for. My bridal bouquet, along with the bridesmaids', blew me away. They were perfect and I highly recommend this business for any occasion.

Absolutely stunning arrangement! The bouquet has unique vegetation in it. Some things I've never seen, including some sort of cabbage flower, which is fabulous. It is perfectly seasonal. The colors are vibrant. The flowers are in perfect condition. The packaging was excellent. Even a green twist tie to keep the arrangement together before you get it in the vase. I hope my husband orders any & all arrangements in the future from here.

I’ve made several orders on different occasions and always had the same superb quality service!! The owner Courtney is extremely friendly and patient as I am not very knowledgeable with plants and flowers. She took the time to explain on how to care for the plants and even let me know about the toxic plants for animals which is super helpful as I have furbabys. I would recommend this shop for all plant/flowers needs!!

Pretty Pots is my go to flower shop in Ottawa! The bouquets are always so full!!! I also love receiving their flowers as gifts. They're long lasting and beautifully arranged. When it came to our wedding, i had an idea what i wanted but didnt know how to describe it. I showed the owner,Courtney, my dress, venue, tons of photos i saved from pinterest and pointed out what i liked from each. She understood the look i was going for and added the right colors to compliment it all. The results were nothing but amazing.

The service is fantastic. However, my flowers died within 5 days. The flowers I purchased from costco outlived the $100 flowers from a professional shop. Unacceptable. I understand that it is the 'off season' for flowers. But this is ridiculous in my opinion. I pay for service AND quality. Not just a friendly voice over the phone.

I've been here twice to get some flowers for my wife and wow, they did a great job each time. With very little direction from me (a price range and vague descriptions about colors) they created really beautiful bouquets. Did flowers for my wedding in December. Looked identical to the picture I provided. I am from Stittsville, so I was so happy to be able to get my flowers from my hometown. They delivered them downtown to me for only an extra 10$. Highly recommend, dealt with Courtney and she is awesome!
