"Parked here today, 2 to 5"
"I would like to compliment your staff in the Dawson street carpark in Dublin, Fred and Nichola"
"We'd arrive in Ireland from the US after a 7 hour delay in Amsterdam and were exhausted! I parked our rental car in the Dawson Street ramp and in my hast to get back to the hotel I left the lights on"
"Yesterday, I found I had lost my car key on arriving back to collect my car to the Schoolhouse Lane Carpark! I spoke to the girl on the Help line at the Paystation but nobody had found the keys! I spent the next hour retracing my steps to the restaurant where I had had lunch and no keys found there either! I really did not know what was the best thing to do in the circumstances and headed back to the Carpark ! I pressed the Helpline again and this time the girl told me that keys had been found and they might be mine ! I went to the Office and met Tahir who had my keys and could not have been more helpful and sorted the matter out and went through the form to be completed ! He is a most kind and charming young man and very good at his job! He recognised how upset I was and was most considerate! I cannot thank him enough for his kindness!! Best regards, M"
"Still can’t believe the kindness we received by Fred in Dawson St car park! We had a discount ticket from our hotel which was the whole reason I decided to drive to Dublin for a weekend away however the discount ticket was for Setanta and not for Dawson St"
Parked here today, 2 to 5. Lost my ticket. Was penalised by being charged the "Standard" daily rate of €39, despite the fact it was a Sunday and the daily rate for a Sunday is €10. The terms and conditionions do not clarify that the rate charged whould be the "standard" and not the discounted "Sunday" daily rate of €10. It just says you will be charged the daily rate. The daily rate for Sundays is €10. Despite several attempts to talk with the Staff, Megan and calling head office. They stuck with the standard reply. They did not consider the unfairness of the situation, or that the notice and terms and conditions were not correct regarding lost tickets on a Sunday. If I had parked 9am to 9pm, all I would have been charged was €10. The customer service in this regard was appaling. There was no empathy shown and no comprehension regarding the standard daily rate for Sundays. Most ALL car parks can check the reg to check when a car comes into the car park. It is very poor customer service that a company such as Q Park cannot do this in this day and age. I have never dealt with such black and white response before. It does not represent how we normally treat customers in Ireland. Especially customers who find theselves in difficulty. I retraced my steps and tried to find my ticket, but to no avail. All in all, the whole experience was very upsetting.
I would like to compliment your staff in the Dawson street carpark in Dublin, Fred and Nichola. The car park was full when I arrived and I had to wait my turn on the ramp behind other cars to enter. During this time my car tag beeped and was read twice, however the barrier wouldn't lift when my turn came to enter unless I took a ticket!!I l parked the car and pressed the button beside the office and tried to explain my predicament to a very rude English lady who had no interest and constantly spoke through me , telling me the tag had not been read if the barrier didn't lift therefore I would only pay once using the ticket. On my return I met with Fred and Nichola who checked the computer at the time I entered the carpark and found that my tag had indeed been read and had I paid the ticket, I would have paid twice for the same parking space. They rectified the problem for me and were very understanding. The lady on the intercom could learn some customer service tips from them !! 5 stars for Fred and Nicola...no stars for the faceless lady on intercom!
We'd arrive in Ireland from the US after a 7 hour delay in Amsterdam and were exhausted! I parked our rental car in the Dawson Street ramp and in my hast to get back to the hotel I left the lights on. The next morning we had a busy day planned with several stops in the North, and lots of driving, so we were anxious to be on our way. I immediately discovered the battery was dead, I was at a loss. It was early on a early Sunday morning, I was still tired and jet lagged, I didn't know what to do. Thankful the parking attendant, Paddy Ryan, graciously helped me jump my vehicle with portable jumper cables, after a 10-15 minute hunt to the latch for the hood. I've traveled to Ireland 8 times over the last 30 years and have had nothing but generosity from the people of Ireland, and Paddy was no exception, he was cheerful, accommodating, and went out of his way to come to our aid! Thank you, Paddy, & QPark! Jeff Bennett Stephanie Morgan

Still can’t believe the kindness we received by Fred in Dawson St car park! We had a discount ticket from our hotel which was the whole reason I decided to drive to Dublin for a weekend away however the discount ticket was for Setanta and not for Dawson St. which we only had realised when trying to pay the ticket! Without hesitation Fred sorted out a discount for us anyway which really helped us out as well as being good craic when we were stressing out! Thanks again Fred it meant a lot
Very bad experience. Their contact less method looked amazing at first, but couldn't get out, it wouldn't work. Their customer service was useless, she kept hanging up on me with no advice. The pay machine's help center didn't answer that call. I was stuck there with 2 upset little girls in the car. I paid the full day price, and I still couldn't get out! Had to ring the emergency phone number and they released me. Never again.
This carpark is in a great location for the city centre. However, it is extraordinarily tight for a large vehicle. Parking in and out of the space itself is manageable but I damaged my car going down a ramp to exit the building due to a kerb on the ramp and a very tight turn around space to go down the ramp. I think this is something that QPark should try to address as I note other reviewers having similar problems.
It's a very convenient carpark but the evening I used it the toll tag reader didn't work (correctly positioned on windscreen and works in other carparks) so I had to take a ticket and when I returned that night the ticket number wouldn't unlock the pedestrian door so I had to wait for a car to exit and walk up the ramp. Could have just been an unlucky experience. Also it's not actually on Dawson Street ;-P
Do NOT use this car park on a SUNDAY Evening! You will get charged a flat €10 for parking anytime between 9am and 9pm then an hourly rate after 9pm. This is despite the misleading entry sign advertising "Evening/Overnight Rate - Maximum Charge €10". I parked at 6pm and exited at 11pm and was charged €17.80 - not €10 as per every other evening rate! Spoilt my otherwise pleasant evening!
Very very very very very very dirty and gross car park. I wont list the smells you will smell in here & for the price of it. You would hope in the times we are in these greedy Q Park People would consider hosing it down weekly for a clean. This car park especially on ground floor has not been touched I would say for month. Rancid. This location gets an F.
We parked here because it was in walking distance of all the must see Dublin sites. It’s a central location for the free museums, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, Temple Bar, Whiskey Museum.... great location! Clean and easy to park. Tahir was our parking host and suggested a great Gelateria close by! Thank you!!
I wish certain car parks would stop the money grabbing practice of charging a fixed price of a full hour for 'part thereof'. The meters are computerized and payments are often card-only, so there's really no reason, other than sheer greed, not to charge for a fraction of an hour after the first one has passed.
Couldn't get into the car park, when we finally got in we couldn't pay for the ticket and couldn't leave the car park. Rang all the help numbers, no luck. 5 other cars in the same situation. Useless customer service. Was stuck for 40 minutes before we got out. Would tell everyone to avoid this car park.
Parked here for an event and when I left I accidentally left something of value behind. I contacted the Car Park and spoke to a gentleman called Tahir. He was an absolute hero and went above and beyond to make sure I was reunited with my property. I cant thank him enough he is a credit to your company.
I was kindly assisted by Tahir after I had discovered I had forgotten my wallet to pay for my parking. Tahir was very helpful and kindly allowed me to leave the car park. I later returned to make my payment. It is nice see Qpark employees have trust in their customers. Thank you for the help Tahir!
As a regular user of this car park, my concern is that, as an AA Member, I am no longer able to get a discount on the parking fee. You staff says that the discount is available on pre-booked parking but they are unable to explain the procedure when I am using daily random parking. Please explain.
On a particularly busy day in February and a stressful moment when I was late for a meeting, Paddy Ryan @ Dawson Street Car Park was exceptionally kind and helpful to me when I had issues with my ticket. Thank you Paddy. Your great service and friendly smile made all the difference that day.
€4.40 per/hour if I recall. It is very near Grafton st shops and National museum. Its spacious. Clean. I might use at €3 but €4.40 is too dear now. A 4 HOUR shopping trip to the city is nearly the price of a Taxi. So I use the bus now which may be what Q-park are aiming to do.
Unsafe. Car broken into while out walking around city. Paid $22 euro then due to talking to car rental folk for 10 min had to pay $3.80 more to leave. Unsafe and very tight. Dont leave valuables/anything in sight. All we left out was a
Good spot to park in the Kildare Street area, but is a little difficult to get at if approaching from the Northside, with the controls on Dame Street / Trinity. Also a bit expensive for evening parking if you go in before 5pm.
Expensive if no discount is applied but giving 5 stars for great customer service we received today when our ticket did not work properly. Friendly lady solved issue through intercom in a very short time, no hassle.
Once again with closures of roads around Kildare Street, I have been unable to access the car park which I use for work parking. Not Q-Park's fault but frustrating nonetheless with no apparent notice.
I had a very nice experience this morning. I had damaged my exit ticket which caused a problem when leaving. The person on duty (Tahir) was exceptionally pleasant and efficient in helping me out.
Couldn't get in to the car park at 11.30 rang the phone number and Shane from q Park was really helpful he came over from Stephens Green to let us in and stayed to make sure we got out OK.
Absolute money grabbers. Hourly rate 4 euro 40 when I entered on sign. Stayed 2 hours cost me 14 euros. False advertising seems to be the way for all these car parks the rest no better.
Really expensive parking but no staff visible. Driver in front of me was in a tizzy about his card not working, no room to reverse, no staff to help. Get the bus into town.
Prebooked online, entered 30 min late but overstayed by 11minutes and I was charged 4.40euro (for 11 minutes!) After paying 21euro already. I won't be parking here again
Very well located close to museums and galleries. No issues with entering or paying. Had plenty of spaces available Saturday morning. Prices as expected in city centre.
Needed an assistant until I called the helpline, I was talking to Alex sound guy and very professional. He really made my day… you need this type of guy in business….
No prices advertised. 8.80e per hour. Drive through the barrier instead of paying. Response to owner: 1 minute more and you're charged for the next hour. Avoid.
Outrageously expensive. Easier, cheaper and more accessible parking in Dublin. If not in the street in another locations such as Stephens green shopping centre
Grand. Easy to use. Prepaid but my QR code didn't work. Just took a ticket and they let me out after I gave them my reference number.
Parking garage is ok but to get to it and in particular getting away from it requires lots of navigation on busy streets.
Thieves broke into our hire car whilst parked here. Shamefully low security. If 0 stars were an option I'd select that.
A bit tight in terms of space and movement to get parked in, but cheap enough and a great location makes it worth it.
On a very quiet side street , wouldn't like to have been on my own also the credit card machine wasn't working.
Spaces bit tight and staff not very good at helping with a query I had when ticket machine was not working.
Very handy for visit to the Dáil. 4.50 euro an hour. Secure and central, but an expensive option.
Very expensive, very dirty. But its a car park in Dublin, so you get what you get........
Tahir was very helpful to me and another customer, a good rep for the company. Thank you.
Be careful! This place charges super high prices that aren’t advertised when you enter.
Very handy carpark, centrally located. Reasonably clean. A bit tight for large vehicles.
Once located it's a good central car park. Shame it's not actually on Dawson Street
I lost my ticket and Fred went out of his way to be very helpful, much appreciated.
Too posh for him, but maybe he is here as a form of torture... he is working class.
Many thanks to Tahir for all his help. He is a top guy and will go far in life.
Very tight. Damaged my car on high curb trying to turn down to the next level.
Good location but narrow spaces. Handy for Grafton St shopping and galleries.
A good place to park with easy access to the Grafton Street area of Dublin.
Easy to enter and no queues as to exit this car park and very central
Easy place if u going cafe en seine or any eatery of Dawson Street.
Very busy and tight parking space. Recommended for skilled drivers.
Nice wide parking, comparing to pocket size Jervis or Brown Thomas
Nice and central to places but very expensive at €4 an hour
Good location. Pricey but better value than others nearby.
Nice car park and not bad value considering the location.
Great location, but the parking rate is a bit expensive
A car park... well located in center bit expensive thus
Expensive and very tight spaces, watch your bumpers!
Great location. I just think that the price is dear.
Very handy for Grafton Street, well kept and secure
was normal multistory parking close to amenities
Perfect for parking for an evening in the city
Handy parking for all your Christmas shopping.
Expensive but at least it is well maintained.
Quite expensive, but in a very good location
Great location etc. but bit pricey …
Works! You can park your car for a fee.
Paying for parking was kind of a pain.
Not cheap, but easy to park handy...
Efficient parking when you need it.
17.90 for just over 3 hour visit...
The parking spaces are very tight
32.80 for 8 hours What a rip off
Good parking, clean and cheap.
Expensive but great and easy
Super expensive but central.
