I just had the worst shopping experience of my life at Rainbow Shops located at 5330 Mt. View Rd, Antioch TN in Bell Forge Square. I was disputing a couple of items that I found on a $3 discount rack, not $3 and Up, but $3. One of the workers told me that someone must have put the items there on accident, that’s fair, but 5 or 6 of the exact same item on a discount rack is not someone putting it there on accident. The two shirts I picked out had multiple sizes in the same color, style, same shirt on this rack. Either the workers weren’t placing thing in the right place or the sign shouldn’t have been there. Either way, that is NOT my fault. I felt I should have been given the shirts at the price advertised. Mind you, I also had other items ranging in price from $10 to $19 and a couple of pairs of sunglasses. So I’m spending money. The two $3 shirts weren’t a hustle otherwise I’d only have had those items. So I’m discussing this with the manager across the store at the rack in question. Meanwhile my daughter is standing near the register, when the employees, THE EMPLOYEES started telling other customers in line and I quote “who comes to a store with $5” and “they broke as hell and in here trying to get something for nothing”. This is an employee, an EMPLOYEE! And don’t forget my child is sitting right there!! Oh do you think the manager said anything? Nope. So my daughter speaks up as I guess they didn’t realize she was sitting there. And then the girl with the dreads was acting aggressive with my daughter. By the way, not one of the employees or the manager had on a name tag. So I decided not to spend one penny in this store. My daughter frequents this store pretty regularly but she will not purchase another item here. I should have made her return the items she had already purchased. I have never felt such discrimination before in my life. Poor customer service and NO professionalism. I’m not saying racial. I’m saying the entire staff, including the manager, treated us like we were beneath them or shouldn’t have been in there and actually said as much. I do plan to file a complaint with corporate. I know these stores have recordings and I’ll encourage to take a look at the film. How insulting and offended I feel! Wow. I’m still in disbelief.

If I could rate a zero I would. Today I had the absolute worst experience and I will not be returning to Rainbow stores until they can get better staffing who have a sense of how to properly run a store. I have been shopping here for years mainly because of convenience. It’s a one stop shop for me an my kiddos. Today I stopped by on my lunch break to grab a shirt (I made a mess on the one I was wearing) and also to get an outfit for an event this weekend. Here lately the employees seem to have the worst attitudes when you ask for assistance. I experienced that when asking for help getting a shirt that was really high up on the wall. After that and shopping for about 40 minutes I proceeded to check out with about $80 worth of merchandise (not much but it’s still money). The cashier rings up all my items and I pull out my card she then tells me their credit card machine is down and they can only accept cash. If that wasn’t embarrassing enough with a line full of people behind me , she proceeds to yell it out to the entire store that they can only accept cash. Poof! Just like that no more line. The level of unprofessionalism was just baffling. The greeter of course makes sure to tell us to have an awesome day on our way out after we waisted our time for nothing. This wouldn’t have been so frustrating if I wasn’t in need of the shirt at that moment and hadn’t waisted my entire lunch break only to leave with nothing. I guess I’ll just start going to Smyrna for my shopping because it just seems like everything in Antioch is just becoming more and more unprofessional. Smh

I used to love this store, but we all know that their sizes tend to be than what they’re supposed to, now the problem is that they closed the fitting rooms! How am I supposed to buy something if I don’t know how it fits. When I asked them they said “you have 7 days to get your money back” so you mean i hace to drive 30 minutes back to my house and then 30 minutes more to return something if I don’t like how it fits? What if I need something for a date night that very same day? I’ll be going back and forth to the store then... ITS NOT CONVENIENT FOR THE CUSTOMERS! I personally only what certain amount of money that I could spend, so got what I thought would fit or look nice and what I could afford, so took it home, guess what? IT DIDNT LOOK as I wanted it to look so I basically missed on buying something that would actually fit! WASTING MY TIME.

The worst return policy I have ever seen. I took back a dress and a shirt that I had purchased and this is my experience. When I entered the store with my bag, the lady at the door asked me if I had a return and I replied yes. She then loudly radio to the cashiers in the back that a return was coming. I was like - what in the world is this. So when I got to the register the cashier hands me this form to fill out that asked for all my personal information. It looked like a miniature application. I said what is this and why? I have my receipt and I just purchase these clothes less than 24 hours ago. The cashier nicely replied this is our policy. I told her it sucked and I would not be back in a store that makes me feels as if I am a criminal. I could understand "MAYBE" if I did not have my receipt - but I had it.

I like this store because I can found no brands for a price I can afford. However, they are not changing the price on there clothing they bring into the store. Usually, you will see how the the orginal price is lower to their cost. I can go to Ross for the price they have their clothing for. Also, this location had a dressing room and that's closed for good because management felt like their other stores don't have it why should this one. Due to their clothes being so cheaply made the size you really wear is not the same as Dillards or JC Penney's. So trying on before buying was hopeful now I waste anlot of time bring back stuff. What a headache.

I purchased two pairs of sandals over the weekend both a size 8 so I took tags off because I keep my receipts. I get ready to wear one paid just to find out it's 6 1/2. The hanger said 8. Took that paid back to store with my receipt just to be told you have to have the tags in order to exchange or refund. So, in other words your receipt doesn't mean anything. They are concerned about the tags something you can print out with a hand held machine. I use to work on retail many years ago. They do not have that info listed on the receipt or in the store anywhere. I don't shop in there that often I just go for the sandals but will not go back.

Unfortunately I had the opportunity to be apart of a rather disappointing customer service event. I do not typically right a review as soon as I get in the car but this one takes the cake. A young lady at the check out desk was very short, rude and unwelcoming to say the least. I enjoyed shopping here before but from this point on, I will not be returning. Which is sad because another employee was very kind to me and my child while my daughter was picking out clothes from the top wall. I hope the young lady at the check out desk has a better day even though she ruined mine.

Not A Critic Just A Customer!!! Thumbs Down! The shopping experience is just as if not more so important than the items your purchasing experience. This patricular day the male Associate was clearly arguing aloud with one of the female Associates and it was disruptive note: even when the language is changed other people can tell by the tone/actions that you are arguing and it was upsetting, I wanted to put my items away and leave but I decided not to but I will think twice about my next visiPlease take note customers are watching what you do just as you watch what they do.

Where do I start? They want your money but don't provide a dressing room, supposedly to curb theft. New management should be fired. The lines are ALWAYS long. Employees don't speak, and their ac doesn't work. I feel bad the employees have to work in these conditions. Maybe that's why they have such poor attitudes. Companies like this do not respect underserved neighborhoods. They just come and leach off of the people here. I'll never shop here again. I don't recommend this place.

I'm a veteran who worked at this location. I went there to shop for my daughter and to ask the manager to fill out a form for me. She says she didn't know anything about it when I just needed the dates that I worked at the location for the VA so they could start my benefits. She gave me a number which turned out to be the wrong one then the proceeded to be rude with me. There was a heated exchange and I got the number for the district manager. I'll NEVER shop there again.

I went and I swipe my card and the cashier started pressing buttons on her computer and my card decline I look at my bank account and they charged it . The cashiers said it’s not charged . I called my bank and they said they are going to report it as fraud because they did take my money . And the cashiers started getting loud . Horrible experience. Had to change my card my card and everything. Moral the story they are stealing from people debt cards .

Manager is rude and will throw you out of the store if you don’t have a mask on. The manager watched me walk into the store without a mask. I shopped for 15 minutes until he approached me and said I could not check out without a mask on. I explained I did not have one with me and he said I can leave because there were too many stores around where I could by one then I could come back. I won’t be going back....

This store is sooo dirty. How do u move into a new space and dont clean it?!? So gross. I dont support businesses that only want money out of their customers and dont care enough to put in the effort to offer them a nice and clean shopping experience. Staff needs training in professional customer service.

Employees are rude and are always in a bad mood. They also have false advertisement, some clothes have 50% markdowns on tags but yet get rung up full price. They also dont let you return some merchandise even though they claim it is new arrivals from last week with no discounts.

You get what you pay for. Desperate for something that looks OK at a cheap price, this is the place to go. Items are not meant to last. PUT A MIRROR IN THE SHOE SECTION. IF I HAVE TO BUY CHEAP SHOES AT LEAST LET ME SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE ON MY FEET!!

7 day return with your receipt no refund.....no dressing room ..... so I was suppose to run home and come back and return if it dont fit. Lmao get a dressing room! I dont want store credit or gift card. I want my money back on my debit card.

When I first walked in. There was a guy maybe the manager looked dead at me and did not greet me, nor say hello or anything. I came in looking for body suits and could not decide on two that I liked. When I went to the register I was told

Very sweet employee's that work their. All kinds of cute cute clothes , for many different occasions. Also I love their girls and baby girls clothing line. There not too expensive either. Rainbow reminds me of what deb use to be .

Great selection and prices. Super organized and clean. Some of the sizes in the different brands they carry can be extremely different - just keep your receipt and tags on the clothes until you try everything on at home.

This is the biggest rainbow I ever been in. Big selection of clothes for women and girls. The boys section was small! But overall it was a good experience they still greeted you when you came in.

I found good deals for children's clothing. The quality on many items were just as good as higher priced department stores such as Kohl's, Target or JC Penny's but much more reasonably priced

Great shopping experience. Multiple styles of fashion were represented for the winter season. The shop is also ready for the upcoming Christmas holiday. Very friendly service and associates.

Pretty good selection of clothes it you are on a budget or when you need something fast. The dressing room is often closed it's a good think their clothes are pretty true to size.

Walked up to door 15 minutes to 8:00 pm and the lady locked the door saying their manager said they are closed. Myself along with other customs were outside.
