Incompetent Pharmacy staff. Was visiting from out of town when my son needed heavy medication. Not only did I have to wait half an hour just to be seen to put in a prescription, overall their Communication skills are awful - thought I was trying to transfer my account to them from another Rexall across the province, when I just asked if the insurance info was in the same system (it's not). Got a call asking if I approved a transfer of the whole account, which I didn't even ask for. Then, needed a refill of one of them as well as a new one for longer term treatment and they wouldn't refill it because there was some left of the first one, despite telling them we were going back out of town in a few days. I arranged to pick up after 3pm a couple days later. When I arrived in the evening, nothing was ready and they still wouldn't fill it, blaming insurance. Again, if there are issues, communicate and I can call insurance, but not after hours (and after being promised it would be filled). Super unorganized pharmacy with poor communication. Stay far away.

Pharmacy staff are incompetent. I live in the US. and was on vacation in Kingston when I needed a prescription filled. I had my US doctor send the prescription, but after 3 people assured me they accept prescriptions from the US,(3 times is how many times I called to see if my prescription was ready) they, in the end, said I had to get a prescription from a Canadian Dr.; which I was not able to schedule an appointment before I had to leave. It would have saved me a lot of money. I am very disappointed. Post-COVID service is horrible and this place is no exception. I called back and asked the staff if they accept prescriptions from the US and they still said they do. I don’t know if they donor not, but if it is your business, you and your staff should no the rules and not waste peoples time.

Been dealing with this location for a few years now to pick up my aunt's prescriptions. Every time I go in they either can't find the pills, pills weren't ready despite confirming on the phone, the perception wasn't cleared, on hold, etc. Staff seem to not care at all whenever I bring it up. Recommending that she change it to a different branch or company completely and I recommend if you get your perception here you do the same. Update 07/16/2021: No improvements at the pharmacy location. Went to pick up my Aunts perception which they informed her would be ready on Friday. I went in on Friday and not only was the perception not ready, they claim no one told my Aunt it was ready. Last straw with this location. Getting it changed to Shoppers Drug Mart.

CAUTION: DOES NOT ADHERE TO PHYSICAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC. STAY AWAY. Staff member asked me to stand closer to a group, which would have put me in danger as it's not adhering to the 2m distancing. I explained this to the person, and they did not care. I explained this MULTIPLE times to the staff member in question, and they would rather me follow the stickers than take the measures to be healthy. Horrible service, and it's this idiotic behaviour that will contribute to the further perpetuation of this pandemic. Stay away at all costs and bring your business elsewhere.

I have been looking around all over for a medication for my son. My brother had tried 8 different pharmacies in person and I had called 10. When I called Rexall, I was waiting to hear another “tell your brother to stop driving or he’s just wasting his gas” or “you’re not going to find that anywhere in this city right now.” This call went very differently. Laura, working at the Edgar St. Location, went above and beyond to help my son. Thank you Laura, for both your kindness and expertise. We will definitely be using Rexall moving forward!

This isn't a bad review. Just a suggestion to the store. Go onto Google and change your hours. There is a "suggest edit" for you to do that. Your website says 9 close and I found out tonight it's 8. The associate was lovely but it was an awkward exchange. I understand pandemic hours, I work retail however my website has my pandemic hours along with most store. Makes things easier.

The store staff is so little in this store that its starting to get ridiculous. Its hard to find things on your own. Sometimes there isnt even a cashier. Angry customers are the result and $10-20 coupons are not the solution. Every time I go to the pharmacy there is a new pharmacist for some reason. And they dont know whats happening with my medication.

Ashely that works in the pharmacy goes above and beyond to over compensate the wait for your medications. 4 stars because I did have to wait for an hour for my prescription. The manager was also super friendly and courteous. Chatted a bit about certain products. I will be returning for sure. Thank you!
