I have been shopping at the city place Rexall for 17 years now and today was the first day I left there just furious. Customer customer service was absolutely atrocious and the worst part is they know me they know I’m a good customer and a friendly person but not if I’m being dealt with by staff that weren’t concerned in anyway shape or form. I have always appreciated Gisele in the post office but I don’t even know who she was today. I have been buying stamps there for years now and Gisele was the one who told me if you buy 10 at a time it’s cheaper and today I was told the post office can’t sell them to me I have to go to the front. So I asked Gisele what’s with the changes here I’ve been doing this for years and she blatantly lied and said no you have not we’ve never done that. I need to actually buy 12 stamps so I went to the front and bought the 10 at the discount price and then asked for two more and now I’m told I have to go back to the post office. Ridiculous. I have always been pleased with the pharmacy staff and they take good care of me and if it was convenient for me to go elsewhere to buy stamps and milk etc. I would completely boycott the store right now I am so disappointed.

Frist off, if you want a prescription refilled, call and talk to an actual person. if you phone it in on the automated system using the prescription number, and they don't have the medication, they will not take the three minutes to call you and tell you, so you will go down there just to have them tell you they don't have it. Every time I go there to get my refils they are out of at least one of my medications. Every time. The wait times are ridculous, mostly because they can't give you an accurate wait time. Last time I was told 20 minutes. It took over an hour. They said they were short staffed. This is what they always say. I would stop going there, but it is right across the hall from my dr's office and the most convinient phramacy to get to. I just have to make sure that I order all my refils at least a week beforehand, otherwise they won't have them. Be prepared to wait at least double what they tell you.

All I wanted to do was buy a half sheet (5) bus tickets, which they do have, and there is never a problem with doing so anywhere else. But this snooty cashier refused, saying it's against their policy to sell half sheets and only sell them as a whole sheet. She said I can buy 10 and was adamant as if I just had double the money on me. I told no, I just want the 5. All she has to do is tear the sheet in half and charge me for 5 tickets. Instead she fluffed me off telling me to turn back (going opposite the way to my destination) and go to the library across the street to buy 5. I feel like she just didn't want to do business with me based on how much money I had. And that was her attitude, too. Very snooty. And I waited a long time in line, too. I just didn't have the time to back track. The prices of everything are atrociously expensive, unless you're buying something they can't price fix.

I am giving this pharmacy 5 Google star review for fixing their mistake. Not all businesses are humble enough to acknowledge & fix their mistakes to improve customer service. Last night the pharmacy was unable to deliver my prescription at my suite. When I called the pharmacy the next morning, the pharmacist apologized and explained that my prescription was not delivered due to my prescription being put in the pick up bin, not in the delivery bin. Tonight the delivery guy was able to give it to me at my apartment. The guy came at around 9:08 pm, knocking on my suite while I was taking a bath. I really thought the pharmacy ditched again the delivery since the delivery is between 6 pm to 9pm! Out of joy, I asked the delivery guy to keep the change & gave him extra for his coffee.

There are better Rexall locations to get perscriptions filled at. I called asking for a refill, they transfered my file in from another location, but when I arrived 3 hrs later they didn't have it ready. They didn't tell me that apparently the perscription was finished. They told me they had faxed my doctors office, but they'll let me know when it comes in. A day and a half later with no word, I call them back, they say they still haven't recieved it. I called my doctor, there were never faxed. Phoned pharmacy back, they told me they resent it and they'll call when it comes in. Another day later, another phone call and I found out that not only did it come in and they didn't call, they didn't fill it either. Very frustrating experience.

Definitely the last time I purchase anything at this Rexall. That includes prescriptions. I will take my scripts to another pharmacy. The filipino woman at the cash is beyond rude and unprofessional. Every single time I go in there she is in a confrontation and with a customer. She just wants to argue. She tried to start with me but I ignored her blatent rudeness bc I figured I'd call the owner or put a review on this site. When i left the cash, she started talking about me to an equally rude, elderly customer whom she seemed to have a repoire with. This is enough already! Why isn't the owner doing anything about this woman? I do not recommend it this location at all. Plenty of other pharmacies in the downtown area.

Super friendly staff.. You get your medicines here as well as a wide variety of products like chocolates,snacks and beauty products. I love the service here and they have good discounts year round. Specially the milk and eggs here are comparatively cheaper then nearby convince stores. It is inside city place which offers lot of other things as well like a food court, Boston pizza and the liquor mart. You are never out of options. I love the fact that they are open till 9pm which is a rarity in downtown. Ask for air miles card as it’s free and start collecting your air miles as well.

Working upstairs from this Rexall I tend to go here a lot. Get all my prescriptions filled here, do all my mail sending and just come down to grab snacks from time to time. I have been working upstairs for 5 years and not once have I had any hint of bad customer service. Mary (i believe is her name) who works as one of the daytime cashiers is an absolute joy every time I come in. The pharmacy staff are so accommodating and friendly and the lady who works at the post office area is always a bundle of fun! I can say that I never feel unwelcome at this location.

Cashier named "Kim" needs to be more corteous and calm and patient so as to listen to cusomers first and then repond. Same goes with the evening management team. Wish there was a option to give less than a star, would have gone for that. I have visited other rexall stores as well and so far have found this store pathetically low in regards to customer handling and to provide them with the proper answer or any other solution regarding that professionally. Called customer service and they said email us. Stilll waiting for a follow up.

Employee used excuse of being new to avoid helping me find and item in the storr and continued to stock the shelf and not direct me to another employee or management. The manager was wearing a black hoodie to hide his uniform. When asked for assistance he tried to leave and said he was busy and would come back. I had to ask him again telling him i just needed to know where an item is. He then reluctantly showed me where the item was and then left. The cashiers are also extremely slow.

Awful feeling being singled out by security based on how I was dressed But he's just doing his job I can accept that kind of the store clerk awful the worst store ever Try teaching your staff customer service skills and how to Not judge a book by its cover. This is why people avoid going downtown to city place and Portage Place they assume everybody's a thief.

Had to wait a very long time in line. I called the customer service line as requested by rexhall customer service. I was put on hold and was told I was the next person on Q so I could leave a message and they would call me back. I left a message and it's 24 hours later and I still haven't received a call. Still failing on the customer service end.

There was a phillippino lady checking my things was not helpful. Someone else near by had to help me. I'm in a wheelchair. I was in tears when I left. I thanked the person who helped me but left withouut saying something to the lady. Sorry if I spelled a word wrong not the best speller.

It’s a busy store being right downtown & servicing its many residents who live near by. But with a little forethought you’ll never have to wait in like to checkout. They usually have everything in stock on sale in their fliers. Good verify of cold drinks at fair prices ready to go.

Just stood patiently in line while a bunch of drunk people took over the line cutting me. I continued to wait patiently for the next till only to be cut again!!! Called for the manager only to have him try to push the blame on the store being downtown!! Do not go here!!!!

My experience at Rexall was remarkable. I actually didn't end up getting string or painters tape but the lady went above and beyond to assist me. Summary: AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE Product selection was shocking as I thought I could get these common items from this store.

Rexall has different hours for their post office from their regular store/pharmacy hours but they don't post them on their site. I've been there a couple times only to find the post office is closed. Please post the hours for the post office.

Was overlooked at the last appointment. In a stressful time with multiple preconditions I am scared to be in public and having your waiting time extended by 30 minutes without notice was unacceptable. The pharmacy staff has since apologized.

Post office employees keep people waiting in line for a long time before appearing. They are rude and unhelpful and treat you like you are bothering them! If my parcels didn't get directed there, I would never go to this location.

The pharmacy staff are amazing. Very smart techs! Always willing to help, the cashier's who have been there for years are always so friendly. The post office is great too. Definitely recommend.

Have no idea why you'd 'renovate' the post office to have a giant flashing TV behind it. To irritate the people standing in line, I guess? Anyway the actual staff at this place are great.

Lines are somehow always long. Pharmacy is usually okay but if you're stopping in for something from the front store plan an extra 5 minutes at least to wait in line.
