"Awesome Mall, not too big or small "
The shopping mall may not be as massive as Westfields, but it certainly offers a wide range of options to meet various needs. One of the standout features is having IKEA, a popular furniture and home decor store, attached to the mall. For grocery shopping, both Coles and Aldi supermarkets provides convenience and choice. The availability of Tong Li, an Asian market, adds to the diversity of shopping options, catering to a variety of cultural preferences. A notable aspect of the mall is the ample dining selection. Whether you prefer a quick bite at the food court or a sit-down meal at one of the restaurants, there's something for everyone. The notorious Yum Cha restaurant is located on the top level! Reading Cinemas further enhances the entertainment options available at the mall. It's a great place to catch the latest movies with friends and family. Parking is plentiful, and the inclusion of a place to charge electric vehicles on the level under IKEA is a thoughtful addition. Overall, the shopping mall offers a well-rounded experience, with a variety of stores, dining options, and entertainment facilities. Whether you're in the mood for shopping, dining, or catching a movie, this mall has you covered. While it may not be as massive as some other shopping centers, it provides an adequate and enjoyable experience for visitors.
We got there at 5:40 last night, we had dinner at Mr Yum, walked around and shopped at Ikea, watched Killers of the flower moon, a 3.5 hour movie. Great night, great food............we get our parking ticket validated at the cinema. We drive out and were charged $16 for parking, not for the money but I think how ridiculous that is, we go out for the evening, support local business's and are charged for parking. No wonder the place was empty! Greedy center managers, won't go back! My reply to your reply: Thanks for your reply below, so you encourage people to spend less time there to avoid parking fees, if we had dinner elsewhere (not in the centre), and we arrived just before the movie started or after 6pm, we would have avoided any parking fees! If I could make a suggestion, if people come there and spend money, why not validate the parking and make it 100% free, I know you don't want people parking all day in the centre when not shopping there, understandable.
1) Lots of variety of options available inside the mall. 2) Ample parking space with first 3 hours as free parking. 3) Two kids play area with separate section for kids under and over 5 years of age. However, I would not recommend to send your kid in a very populated area as it increases chances of infection 4) One thing I was very happy is the mall had very clean and comfortable changing areas for kids It was very colourful with some games around to keep kids engaged.the feeding areas were also comfortable. It was not told empty and hence no witting time when we visited. 3) Multiple restaurants- Rashay's,Gunman games, some Japanese and Thai options too .Muktiple options availble in food court. and cafe- Oliver Brown ,etc 4) Ebtertaunment options - Reading cinema 5) shoping options- Ikea- Aldi, Coles, House, adiars 6) Ice cream parlour in ground floor. 7) Good crowd - All well behaved people.
Not a bad little shopping centre. The cinema there is really cheap - $10 all week long, only downside is you can’t reserve seats. The food court is average and could use more selection. The restaurants located inside the centre though are actually surprisingly great - most of them anyway. The big Chinese restaurant on the ground floor is always busy and has good food. The shops themselves are ok too with a few interesting and unusual shops. Like the national geographic shop for example. There’s also a very large Ikea there which is good but usually very busy. The centre isn’t too big and feels a little basic overall compared to others in Sydney but it’s nice enough and worth a visit.
Awesome Mall, not too big or small .Just the right size. IKEA,KMART, Aldi,Coles just to name a few. We always visit this mall to watch Movies at the Reading cinemas or visit Ikea. Probably the best value for money cinema for families to watch Movies ($12 tickets). Very affordable snack deals. Dont forget to validate your parking tickets at the cinema Heaps of free 3hour parking. Nice restaurants like Rashays & Mamak ,Yogurt berry, etc.Awesome kids castlelike playground in the middle.Easy layout to access all the shops. If you're visiting Ikea Park on the levels marked for Ikea for easy loading.Overall great place to visit with kids, outdoor parks close enough to walk too also.
I recently visited the shopping mall and was thoroughly impressed with the wide range of options available. The presence of multiple banks made it convenient for all my financial needs. The inclusion of both Coles and Aldi supermarkets ensured that I could find all my grocery essentials without any hassle. IKEA provided a great shopping experience for furniture and home decor enthusiasts, while the Asian stores and clothing stores offered unique and diverse shopping opportunities. Additionally, having K-Mart and cinema multiplexes added to the overall appeal of the mall, making it a one-stop destination for shopping, entertainment, and dining.
Our family decided to have breakfast at Gozleme King (the cafe located just near the exit doors). The security guard kicked us out of the shopping center in the middle of breakfast because we had a dog despite the fact that there were no "Dogs not allowed" signs at the entrance. We asked to finish our meal and then leave but were told to leave immediately. The small dog was silently sitting on the laps and didn't give any trouble to anyone. In my opinion it was very rude and unprofessional.
Lovely shopping village hidden away but a favourite with locals and although the Ikea store is the big drawcard the great selection of shops really making Rhodes waterside a wonderful place to visit with the array to food selection cafes and little niknaks is just wonderful. l found the cinema's location amazing and keeps the centres feel upbeat and calming to say the least. plus the multitude of parking so pay a visit you will not be disappointed
3. 7 - Nice looking shopping centre that fulfils the needs of those who live around there and people looking to visit the unique shops every now and then such as Ikea and Hobby Co. A variety of places to eat and shop. It has useless WiFi so I can only assume it is used to monitor people traffic, unfortunately! Also, someone's dumb idea to paint the small poles in the carpark black as I have seen so many cars back into them so be careful everyone!!
Beware, car park is poorly managed. Glitchy boomgates. Paid for $11 for parking equivalent to a 3.5 to 4 hour stay when I haven’t even exceeded 3 hours. Hotline is worthless to ask for a refund, either they brush you off as they are “too busy” or you’ll get the “we will investigate” comments. Just a reminder to check your ticket first so you don’t get caught with their alleged “glitchy system”
Small shopping centre but does have the essentials plus IKEA, which I think is the place's main feature. Affordable cinema's nice selection of food court and casual dining and clean amenities. Very child friendly with one of the best indoor playgrounds in a shopping complex around Sydney kids cafe and when Ikea decide to reopen their Smalland I dont know what will beat this place for it.
It’s a nice looking shopping Center very clean looking it does have an interesting play equipment for kids to play in. There’s a verity of of shops and the shopping centre is close to Lewis Berger park so you can get lunch and go sit in the park by the water and enjoy your lunch. But does have bad phone reception in certain areas but other than that it was a nice place to visit.
Don't shop at Rhodes Waterside On 07/07/23 late afternoon, My one-year-old, my wife, my 19-year-old and his girlfriend just decided to have lunch, and dessert purchased clothing and perfume spent hundreds of dollars and got late by 10 minutes due to a diaper change. The parking lot person rudely asserted that you must pay $8 no matter what and hung up... Here is a job for Ai...
One of the most welcoming and open shopping centres in Sydney. Why? Because they're open when others aren't and THATS A BIG PLUS for people who lived in cities where shopping centres or malls would trade until 10 or 11 pm. The choices for food are amazing and fast food isn't the only choice. Do yourselves a favour and visit them soon.
The lifts near ikea is the worst I've ever been in. Goes up and down randomly. You can cancel people's floors by pressing the button again. Took me 15mins to go from level 2 to level 7. Nope, not the lift in Ikea. This Sunday, you had one lift working at full capacity. There are mountains of people waiting at the lifts at all times.
Good shopping centre but you guys should start construction after all shops are closed… The construction noise today was unbelievably loud at 7:50pm and I feel like someone could actually get hearing damage from it. You are creating a safety hazard. All shops nearby were still open and people would have to go through it to go Kmart.
Great place but we only go here for IKEA it’s the best We always do the drive out there to get all our needs great shopping although terrible to park in absolutely crazy the car park is built for tiny cars there’s no parking for short-term pick up and drop off but I’ve than that really good place definitely stop by to see the IKEA
Paid $50 to get a pet with Santa photo, but security doesn't allow pets to walk in the mall, so how do we get from the photo shoot back to the B1 parking area? His response was "it doesn't matter. pets not allowed." Lack of communication skills and very rude. Still want the money from your pet on the fact of pet unfriendly.
The lifts takenso long to come to the car park and top levels. Close to 20 mins one time. Level 5 in the parking lot has signs saying this way to restaurant and ships, but level 5 is not connected to a shopping centre entrance at all! Management should seriously fix the design of their building and their lift timings.
One of my favourite malls..even though it has everything in, it does not seem crowded...I like it :) Has everything in it - it has an IKEA in it :), ALDI, Coles, bing Lee and cinemas among loads of other things.. offcourse a good food court and plenty of food options.... Thanks Rhodes waterside...
Not a massive shopping centre like Westfields but it's adequate. There's Ikea, Bing Lee, Coles, Aldi, various other shops, restaurants, cafes, and a food court. There's also a great Yum Cha restaurant at the top level and Reading Cinemas. Parking is plentiful too.
This shopping centre is unique in Sydney it’s not big as Westfield but it’s very convenient and has lots things to offer. Coles, Aldi, Kmart, Bing Lee, Jaycar, food court, banks plus IKEA and many other things in heart of Rhodes. Always I enjoy to visit here
Its easy to go around here since its small but it also looks compact. There are not much waiting areas and most of the shops are of household decoratives. However, the kids will love to go to this place because there is a huge play castle in the center.
It's. a shopping mall that you will always find yourself lost in time when they have IKEA, Reading cinema, lots restaurants, cafes, etc. It just can't go wrong with plenty to do. Mall parkings available and 1P off street parking too.
The monkey bar is good for the kids but some stupid parents didn’t take out the shoe. Due to the hygiene purpose and respect to the rule, they should take out the shoe.. if the stuff visit the playground often , it will be very good
Always plenty of parking, good food court and many other food joints to eat at here. Place is always clean and vibrant, quick stroll down the road takes you to a great view of the water with nice paths that lead you back to shopping
Rhodes water side park. A great tranquil and quiet spot to enjoy a walk, a jog ♂️♀️♂️a picnic lunch, catch up on rest and reading . Purchase some fresh food from the shopping mall and enjoy it out here. …
Great mall especially with IKEA attached to it. Main stores like Coles and Aldi, with Asian market Tong Li as well. Many food selection available either at the food court or at the restaurants in the mall. There's also a cinema!
Nice, clean and spacious shopping centre with quite a few nice eateries/restaurants to choose from. All the shops one needs plus more. They have a great childrens play area inside with a two level enclosed climbing maze/tower.
It is very good shopping mall , with a lot of shops cafes and restaurants. Also there are several banks located here such as commbank , Nab , HSBC. There are coles , kmart and IKEA. Also a food court with a lot of varieties.
Not sure which construction company was in charge of this project, but it's very impressive The amenities are easy to find, the lighting is spectacular and the people in the area are quite friendly too Highly recommended
Loved IKEA they have the goods and delivery the next day for $49 how good is that a Dinning table and 4 chairs and cushions to go. At $694 can't complain Unlike 3 months wait at Harvey Norman at $2000 price point
Good shopping centre with slightly difference shop. Excellent reading cinema good location together with food court. Good choices of food and restaurants. One to go for IKEA in the area and lots of parking space
This is a great place to visit. The kids play area is one of the best I've seen. Lots of great shopping opportunities, plenty of food choices and a cinema to boot! Definitely recommend this for a lazy Sunday.
We walked one big circle a total of 10kms all up looking at all the boat wrecks sunken at various points along the walk verh enjoyable also seeing all the people that have there amazing buildings well done .
Love this shopping centre. I normally go there if I need to go to Ikea. They have several great Restaurants and food court is not bad too. Unfortunately free parking is only for two hours (not enough for me)
Sadly this previously was a fantastic restaurant and very popular for yum cha lunch but quality has lowered, prices gone up and not always open. Appears to be close to full closure and wlll be sadly missed.
Great shops! They have all sorts of cool stuff there and it's very clean and doesn't feel too packed. Good food options, there is also the torture dungeon- Ikea - but if you avoid that it's a great day out
It's a lovely centre, easy parking, good shops and cafes. The kids play area is pretty amazing as well. Plus it has IKEA and Coles along with Target and Cinemas. Over all, a great centre for everyone
Not many shops inside, no high brand shops, only few restaurants but there’s foodcourt. Good thing they have Ikea and binglee here. It’s very clean though and takes around 7 mins to work to station
Beautiful architecture, spacious interior, great play area for kids, good options to shop for a myriad of things, good options of eateries. In the fewest of words, this is a mall for everybody.
Woolys on Top Coles on the bottom Aldi and Ikea on the side Super upgraded Reading Cinema available We have Zara,H&M and Uniqlo left to be added to this modern precinct area!
Disappointed not enough free tote bags to give away to real shoppers that spend money.other words better not do the promotion if you dont have enough items. Its a turn off.
Amazing shopping centre with lots of great variety of shops. Including IKEA. Parking seemed complicated for a first timer. Not easy to navigate, but will get used to it.
Ikea, the Swedish Emporium of wonders. Like everyone else, I went there to buy 2 simple picture frames and came out with a blue bag full of must haves. Love the place!
Very large, nice and clean place, service is good and the food tastes great, best time to come would be on a Sunday as they have the full range of the food on Sundays
Lovely centre with lots of interesting shops that are not necessarily your chain store. Amazing eateries mostly Asian so if you love Asian food this place is heaven.
Get shoppers not lo leave trolleys near parking spaces, makes it very hard for mobility parkers in having to move stupid trolleys left by stupid moron shoppers.
Nice shopping centre with all the COVID-19 safety measures were in place. The parking is an issue during the peak hour otherwise great shopping centre …
This is always a busy shopping centre. It's nice and friendly with plenty of parking and lots of shops to choose from. The draw card is, of course, Ikea.
Nice shopping centre. Has plenty of coffee shops, grocery shops, home and garden, and much more. Close to transport and great for family dining too.
i love this shopping mall, and especially they have two giant supermarkets Coles and ALDI. People got so many choices to find the cheapest prices.
The cleaners in the food court upstairs today the 22/12 @1pm are rude and unwelcoming im boycotting this centre until you teach your staff manners
Place to be. Incredible opportunities to buy essentials. All brands available with ample parking space. Nearby by river walk means shop and walk
Looks like a huge shopping centre. Went there for an Ikea click and collect so didn't get to explore, but I'd like to check it out sometime.
Big and tidy shopping center, a lot of restaurants and shops around . My kid enjoyed the playground while my partner finished shopping
Well kept centre with a great range of shops. Only IKEA in Sydney that is in a centre, making for a better shopping experience.
Love this place. Has everything I need and close to my home. Shops, groceries, cinema, food court and IKEA are there.
A shopping mall having multiple brand outlets, including Coles, K mart, bing lee, etc. Also Bevilles jewellery shop
Went shopping there a couple of days ago they had a Chinese dragon dancing around the mall for the Lunar New Year.
Situated at scenic place. You will find big showrooms like IKEA over here. Playareas are also available for kids
Good retail options. Many bank branches. Has Coles nd Aldi, food court and IKEA. has JP service every Saturday.
This place is close to the water and has a nice long walking track with plenty of seats along the way to rest
Rhodes waterside is a Very beautiful n picturesque place. It's a paradise for walkers, Joggers n Cyclist's.
Most agonising experience ever! Lifts are choked with ikea trolleys. No Paystations on the parking levels?
One of my favourite . Massive children play area I side shoping centre kids can enjoy for hours and hours
Even though it is near dusk, the sunset is infinitely good! This is the best place to watch the sunset!
Cool shopping center, quite small and parking is huge. on a scale of 1 to Macquarie, it is pretty good.
Noisy and tiring especially in December.I dont like hard surfaces everywhere.Impersonal and expensive!
Ikea and Reading cinemas... great combo. Food court is great too. There are a couple of new eateries.
I love the amount of shops but I think you should try the ikea restaurant so mind blowingly good
This feels a bit dated now that Rhodes central has opened but IKEA is not moving so that's good.
Nice clean, only , in parking there is no written many directions how to the diferent shops.
Good range of stores in this shopping centre, reasonable parking but can be busy at times
Good for everyday shopping, rich food cort and free kids indoor playground (for 4+ year)
Prices and what they have is not that good but News Agent Stall was good Services
I really enjoy this place ,close to river and good place to walk nice and clean
Lots of good store choices to spend your loot! And there's an Ikea as well...
...Great shopping centre with lots of big chain stores & nice eateries.
Love this place because of Ikea and all the little shops around it.
Well designed location, where you can get everything in one place!
Went to the IKEA which was quite nice!! Really clean in general.
It's very good but not big enough. That means, no many choices.
It is a very good shopping mall, it has everything you need
Very nice shopping with good selection of stores
Good shopping centre. Has all shops you need.
Nice place to walk and ride a bike.
