UPDATE - May 2022 Ordered beef ribs, no basting and no burnt. So I found out that "no burnt" is not a possible option. Simple reason: if they don't burn it's going to be more or less a piece of boiled meat (slow cooked), because it's pre-cooked, probably arriving at the venue ready to flame. The flame provides that smokey roast flavour. BUT, it's burnt... See the picture, where the piece at the bottom left has had the black burnt crust scratched away. Needless to say that burnt meat is one of the well known triggers of cancer. At least if you consume it more than just very rarely. I have an idea: why not checking if the franchising might be open to a small steak section in the menu? And anyway, Craigieburn is ready for a steak house. What are we waiting for? UPDATE - 23 April 2018 After the "al-lamb & all-sweet" bad experience and bad review (see below), following the answer of the owner (thanks...) I went there again and ordered the same Beef ribs, but this time without basting. It took more time than usual but finally there was no Middle-Eastern sweetness all around and the ribs were OK. The "Cabbage & Apple salad" had Pine-nuts instead than apples (fortunately I am not allergic...) but it was good. Not more than three stars, however, because the meat was overcooked... I noticed that some other reviews mention different problems with the cooking, and this could be relatively easily improved with more STAFF TRAINING, and, why not asking customers HOW cooked they would like their ribs? I know it's going to be tricky with the bone, and I'm not suggesting the same grades used for steaks (too complicated and this is not a steak house, so...) but just asking if they want them WELL-COOKED or a bit less... I will go again and update ASAP. OLD REVIEW Craigieburn is not exactly in the Middle East and so, if you wish to eat some good 'standard' ribs you should go somewhere else. I ordered beef boneless ribs and they tasted 90% lamb, because they had been probably cooked or marinated together. But the main issue is that here EVERYTHING tastes sweet, according to some Middle Eastern taste. Please give the option of ordering PLAIN ribs, and grilled them without any sauce. Let customers decide what sauce, what marinade, or nothing at all.

Small mini review ( will definitely update when we do eat here and it's DEFINITELY on the list). Saw how busy this location was and decided to look at their menu. I noticed they had a peppermint tart and I was sold!. First and foremost Big thank you to the excellent hostess who took my order for a takeaway dessert- it was made really quickly and I appreciate that. Secondly. I'm from South Africa and every year for more than 2 decades. My aunt has made a peppermint crisp tart for Christmas. I was obviously not home for Christmas last year and this dessert is so close to the one my aunt makes.. I genuinely couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! ( can't wait to be back to try the mains. Another lady I spoke to who was waiting for a takeaway meal highly recommended it and said your staff is absolutely awesome) Edit: we ate here and holy sht their food is amazing. ( even came back a third time with my cousin). Ribs so soft it's unnatural. Definitely recommended trying their shakes. Milo was alright and my partner had the coookies and cream which was better. However when we came again I tried the vanilla malt and that was pretty amazing. Wings are also super soft like it just slips off the bone. It IS a tad expensive for 4 wings but it's good food.

I bought a lamb wrap on the 8th September. As I was eating it I almost smashed a tooth. On inspection I checked what was in my mouth and it turned out to be a bone fragment the size of a pebble. I called them back and told them that I wasn’t after a refund or replacement but that they should be careful going forward. The manager refused to accept the fact and said that it was a mustard seed that almost smashed my teeth. Really? As a manager you should own your mistake and treat your customers with utmost respect. I was a regular customer but will not go there ever again due to their failure to admit their error. Poor form

I haven’t been here in a number of years and have noticed a drop in quality in a recent visit. Burgers are on the smaller side, and are a tasty home cooked vibe (not smash patty for example). The pork ribs were enjoyable also, very tender however the marinade was quite sweet. Expect to pay $15-$20 per burger, and $6-$12 for fries - quite expensive for a full meal once you add sauce and a drink (ketchup/bbq sauce for the table no longer offered). The staff were very friendly and the food came out quickly.

Delicious food and great customer service always! We had the lamb ribs, chicken wings, grain salad, cabbage salad, and sweet potato fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. Lamb ribs are always exceptional and did not disappoint this time around either. (Chicken, lamb and beef are all halal. If you specify that you want halal food then they use BBQ sauce instead of normal basting for the ribs) The staff are very cooperative and friendly. Highly recommend dining here and will definitely visit again

Apauling. I usually won't take the time to review because I honestly can't be bothered most of the time. But this was next level dissapointment. We ordered sweet potato fries and 2 wraps. Both wraps were so soggy, and literally slapped together. The sweet potato fries were a joke. $15 and the size you got was unreal. Half filled, and Luke warm. Horrifically over priced for the quality AND quantity of food you get. There's dissapointment, and then there's Rib and Burgers Craigieburn.

Was once fantastic but i feel it maybe losing its sparkle. Previous visits have been nice and the food was usually top notch and mostly warranted the extremely high prices paid. But most recently a lunch time visit was not the most enjoyable experience had by my friends and I. The place could do with a bit more attention to cleanliness e.g the place smelt like burnt toast for an hour straight indicating the toaster was in need of emptying of a huge amount of burger bun crumbs. For the prices asked i felt disappointed.

As much as i love the place and really enjoy their menu from burgers to ribs to sides... I will never forgive them for removing the complimentary sauce bottles when you dine in - it's replaced by $2 little cups of sauce which is such a damm shame and dissapointment.

Terrible service. I went to dinner with my family and was told getting water for the table is self service. That's not a problem at all, except the water filter is broken. When I brought this to the staff's attention, I was told you need to BUY bottled water. The only way I got water at the table is after forcing the issue with staff who kept insisting the only way I could get water if I bought it. As a licensed venue, they clearly don't understand the terms of their own liquor licence. Not coming back here

Was at Ribs and Burgers Craigieburn tonight and was served by Rose. Have nothing but good things to say about the food , and the service we received from Rose was first class. She was extremely nice to talk to and gave us very prompt friendly service with a smile checking on us to see that we were happy with everything. We were very impressed with the food and the high standard of service that Rose gave us and would highly recommend Ribs and Burgers Craigieburn, we will definitely be returning

Delicious burgers, the wagyu burgers are overrated, the standard burger patties have much better flavour. Their fries are good, good thickness and crunchiness, the loaded fries are good too. The chicken wings are delicious, and the ranch source is so good

to date, i've been here twice.. my order usually includes burger (wagyu beef) and ribs.. The burger was great. With the right amount of sauces and the beef was delicious. Ribs, well done..taste good, maybe would have been better for my personal taste if less sauces, but overall really good.. ( if you're ordering ribs check the weight due to different sizes) And gotta love the fries.. Besides the food.. staff is really friendly and welcoming.. nice interior redesign too.

Always nice to eat here. A slightly larger range of food covering more than just 'ribs and burgers'. Super yummy, good quality food, and decent wait times. Also vegan/vegetarian options available! As the space is fairly small, seating is only an issue during peak lunch/dinner hours, but their turnover time is rather quick. Most of the staff are nice, but I have run into a very blunt young woman before, who came across a bit harsh! Otherwise, no complaints from me

Would come back to try more ribs. The OG flame grilled chicken burger was really good. Their chili dip is great as well. Southern burger was okay however the chips were hot, crispy and fresh.

Burgers are good quite enjoyed them - 1 did however come out very soggy, burger bun basically dissolved by the time I ate the 2nd half of the burger. Ordered the onion rings as pictured, disappointing, just oil soaked crispy batter really - left more than half, couldn’t eat them, got a sore throat from the oil. Salted Caramel Shake was good. Stick to the burgers and chips when you order, give the onion rings a miss.

Friendly service. You can order at the table via qr code. Food was delicious. We orders the bbq ribs and wagu burger with smokey Chipotle sauce and African chilli sauce on the side

The waitress was lovely. The food however, below average and overpriced. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 GF and small fries plus 2 small soft drinks. The gf burger was inedible, the other tasteless. The fries were cooked in dirty oil that needed changing. A waste of money. No hand sanitizer in the dispenser at the entrance. A real let down.

They have a variety of burgers and Ribs as the name suggests. Good selection of drinks available. Busy during launch and dinner. Ordered the tango chicken burger but ended up eating it before taking a picture. The sauces that are on the table was tasted like it was watered down so stick with the aioli if you like it.

Tried the chicken wrap and that was particularly delicious a balanced meal with a lot of vegetables in it

Being out in Craigieburn there aren't many options for quality places to eat out, except of course if you head to Ribs and Burgers! Pictured is the Pork Ribs with the Pocket Burger and Fries. Very filling meal and well presented. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! - MustBeHungry

The naked burgers here used to be amazing. They had a good amount of salad mixed with the contents of the burger. Now they literally just take the burger and dump the contents into a tiny bowl and call it a meal for the same price. So disappointed.

Had a nice meal out, was a little on the higher price but the meal was worth it. Had good kids options. Didn't wait for a seat. Were good with my service dog.

Disgustingly small portion of chips when ordering full rack of ribs ($35.90). Order was sitting on the counter waiting to be brought out to me for 5 mins. Would not recommend ordering this poor excuse of ribs.

One of the best franchise Ribs and Burgers in Melbourne. Good variety of burgers for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The ribs are cooked to perfection with good quality marinade and basting.

Very mediocre. The beef ribs were served medium, but still tasted a bit dry. I'd give it a 3, but the price brings it down another level. Quite overpriced for what you get in my opinion.

I decided to treat my sons to a rare treat, and we weren't disappointed. Amazing customer service and delicious foods and yummy drinks. Thank you, we left with full tummies.

Highly recommend the Double Peri Chicken! The dish was full of flavour, can't wait to try out more of their dishes. The service was good and the food came out very quickly.
