Probably a little harsh with the construction going on, but they HAVE done away with most of the disabled parking. And, with the closure of half the top car park, parking is a problem. The now closed in walkway in the closed upper car park, reeks of stale cigarettes and urine. Not pleasant. Having unfinished floors, with 2 different heights and bumps (seemingly) everywhere is a literal pain in the but for those in wheelchairs and not much better for anyone with limited mobility. I'm sure parents with prams would find a similar problem, as well as anyone trying to maneuver/manhandle a loaded trolley. I have been close to being thrown from my wheelchair a number of times because of these speed hump style things stopping it dead due to the height difference. I am really looking forward to changing this review once the construction work is finally finished and the upper, outdoor car park is re-opened. EDIT/UPDATE: March 2019 Disabled parking is STILL woefully lacking, especially undercover. There is STILL no lift from the car park and the number of disabled parking spots in the elements has been cut. (Getting wet using a wheelchair is not fun. Takes days for the seating to dry properly). There are STILL adults taking their children to the toilet in the disabled toilets because (their words) "there's no other option". I take that to mean there's no family-friendly parents bathrooms. So WHAT, EXACTLY was done in the upgrade renos? I see no upgrades to the center or its facilities... food for thought Center Management - maybe next time?
I was extremely disappointed. Firstly the chicken on skewers l bought were only just warm and l know l could and should of taken them back but l decided not to. The main point of my of my disappointment is when l was taking the lunch to the bins, a lady in house cleaner, who was emptying the rubbish bin so l waited to put my leftover lunch in the new empty bin when the lady said," Just throw it in that bin." I said," but this is not recyclable." The cleaners said, "It's ok, it all goes in the same bin anyway." I just put my tray down and walked away." Why would you have recycle bins and not use them for recycled rubbush? Customers in good faith place their rubbish in the two different bins doing the right thing assuming that you would be also. I will be copying this and putting it on the, "War on Waste" facebook page.
Been going here for a while now... Some shops closed but others open in their place so there's always something to find. If you don't want to pay exorbitant prices for game console games you have a choice of EB Games or Big W (Big W is really good for prices) and they sometimes have amazing deals depending on what you're looking for. There's also The Reject Shop, Woolworths supermarket, Prouds (where I've found some great sales myself) and many other speciality stores as well as a food court. Don't take my word for it... Go check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
We continue to go to Richmond Marketplace mostly due to the comfortable feeling we get from most other people. The shopping centre is clean, toilets normally clean and pleasant the Woolworths almost always have what we need and usually with good longevity, Parking is normally easy without being far to walk to one of the two entries in the undercover parking. They are in the process of replacing the travellators at either end of the shopping centre. The eastern one has been completed and is a great improvement.
Richmond Marketplace is a great shopping centre. Definitely big enough for the area. Has everything you need: food court, cafes, supermarket, Big W, other clothing and shoe stores, hair, nails, gifts etc. There's also a community library. There's always some extra activity in the space in front of Big W. At the moment it's a charity drive for care packs for people. Other times it's activities for kids. Plenty of parking and a carwash facility underneath as well.
Small but a great shopping centre. Specially the security supervisor N. Sarkar was extremely helpful & doing a great job. When we needed help he was there for us. He seems very professional, cordial, very conscientious and observant. He made suggestions that were value added and resolve our problem. We were pleased and pretty sure he pleased many more with his service on a daily basis.
Woolworth lots of empty shelves, supposed change over as was Tuesday and would be working to fill tonight, staff wasn't their pleasant usual standard What a contrast in the Jamaica Blu coffee/Cafe shop, great coffee and service. Well placed in centre, should have gone there first, would have made the whole shopping experience so much better .You should deserve a 4 stars rating
An unusually hidden mall where the entrance is between multi-purpose houses. The centre is relatively bright and has an unexpectedly beautiful atrium where its food court stands. Parking aisles can be a pain as they're quite narrow and there's not much, but the Marketplace is relatively quiet and has a great set of provisions and stores within.
Richmond Market place is a great shopping centre with most of what you need under the same roof. Their eating area have a great choice and is always clean and well presented. There is also individual cafes for that more private eating experience. If your travelling through the Hawkesbury, Richmond Market Place is a great place to stop.
We love this mall. But not anymore… sorry guys that dirty oil smell that permeates throughout the mall is disgusting. It currently comes from the sushi shop near Woolworths.. it used to be a cafe. It smelt then - but now! It’s vile. I won’t go back. Give it a clean. Check the grease trap, change the oil. Even other shops complain
Decent small shopping centre. Free parking and again decent variety of shops for a small center. Multiple entry and exit to carpark. Petrol station right at one of the exits. Food court good variety from sushi, kebabs, burgers and even roast lamb. A few coffee cafes. Very much a country vibe everyone is friendly.
Look the shops and stuff great, but the wifi is so bad if I need to use an app to buy something or for research purposes I have to walk out of the shop most of the time. You would think that with a telstra and optus store in the centre you would at least have a decent internet connection but apparently not
Hi there well if I am lucky enough to get a disability parking it's so much easier some times it is impossible to get a car space as it's not very often you see the Security checking the car park as a lot of people park in the disabled parking who don't have a disabled parking card on their vehicles
This typical, small town mall recently received a significant make-over and boy, has it made a difference! Usual mid-to-low range clothing chains, travel agent, supermarket, department store, optometrist, chemist, phone retailers, lots of great food, and several A+ coffee options.
The facelift looks good.. Not enough female toilets though since the Reno's.. Could do with a variety of other stores I don't believe the centre is big enough to warrant multiple stores of the same thing such as 3x jewellers, 2x sushi, 3x hair 2x nails and 4x phone places.
Great little center as I'm in Woolworths quite often. The butcher's meat servery is awesome with specialty lines and thicker cuts available. The older butcher who works there on Sunday is the best and will slice the meat however thick or thin you want ....... top service!
There are a good range of shops, and it's handy for Big W. A good kids play area outside which is handy for mums. Plenty of parking. Food court is not the best, it doesn't have a lot to choose from. Toilets are the absolute worst, not very clean and usually broken.
Very interesting small and friendly Centre. Several choices of shops and really great ambience. Food section needs some 'life' injected into with a little more attention to design of that area. Also perhaps Vegan/vegetarian food could be a current choice! …
What you would expect from a smaller shopping centre. Parking is good. Big W, Woolies Jamaica Blie, boost, jewellers, little food court, several speciality stores. If you are wanting a coffee whilst browsing you are best to avoid spears Cafe.
Love the place, under cover parking is great for hot days & there is plenty of it. I was shocked & so happy when I found out there was a sanity. Specsavers is absolutely amazing, Jaz has always been amazing for us with my daughters glasses.
Lovely little shopping centre where you find practically everything one needs: toys, manicure, bags, clothes, medical centre, pharmacy, chiropractor, cafes, food hall, hairdresser, sushi, cakes, butcher, bread, supermarket and much more.
It's a ok place. I agree with one viewer the trolley guys need to respect customers more. And slow down and watch for traffic. Woolworths needs to understand some times customers need to return products not just exchange them especially
Pay attention to the trolley people in the parking they were reckless! I was walking minding my own business when the trolley guy pushing didn’t even stop when I passed by good thing. He didn’t even give us a warning! A-holes
Amazed at the wonderful transformation of Woolworths. So beautiful wide isles shelves filed to the brim excellent produce and fresh sea food. What a pleasure it is to shop there. Thank you to the management and staff:)
Nice little shopping centre, has everything you need and a nice little foodcourt, has changed quite a bit since the last time I was there which is a good 11 years ago, it it has changed for the better.
Very nice little center with a good variety of shops and plenty of undercover parking. The woolies there have very nice people working there, always happy to help and fresh meat servery is excellent!
Richmond Marketplace is always a pleasure to visit. The place is always clean and the variety of shops compliments the market place. It’s a well balanced shopping centre. Keep up the good work.
There is always people poaching you every direction you walk, to sign up to stuff, donate something, hearing test. Just want to go to the shop and get what I need, not be guilty into something.
The new look of the shops is really nice and I love that they added a Conor (best male clothes!) and the Woolworths is very well set out and big isles so you don’t have to squeeze past people
Good place to shop for groceries and general homewares and clothes. There's also a medical centre and chemist in the complex. There's a new fenced play area outside which is under cover.
Great variety in most shops. Friendly staff. Al amenities easyly accssable. Plenty of free parking. Specsavers today wow what great staff. Couldn't ask for better service. …
Nice local shopping mall with supermarket, variety store (BigW) and a number of speciality stores. Smallish food court area. Parking can be a problem during peak shopping times.
Headed to Specsavers for hearing test needed for bus driver authority process. Happy with the test, friendly and efficient service. Cost of test was very affordable.
It's an all in one place. I was able to get all I needed. Clothings, groceries, wrist watch, had a hair cut and got a phone pack for my Samsung J8. I loved the place
Only called in for a bathroom break and lunch. Didn't appear to be a big range of food, but what we had was fantastic. Cooked fresh, service with a smile. Loved it.
Nice shopping centre, don't need to walk 2ks to reach a shop. Never crowded! It has pretty much everything you need from car wash to BigW. Parking is always there.
Parking is terrible. Insufficient disabled spaces too. Underground carpark requires great caution. Turn left at bottom of main entrance ramp to get safest area.
Great place to shop and eat. Even ones well being is looked after and all this under one roof. The new refurbishment also makes shopping more convivial …
Renovations have revived the atmosphere at Richmond Marketplace. The revamp of the food court actually entices customers to sit and consume a meal. Good work!
Plenty of room to move down aisle from shop to shop and some resting spot seats for elderly. Too many clothes shops but otherwise a fair variety of goods.
Huge and magnificent shopping center close to Richmond Train Station filled with the most contemporary shopping brand names . Excellent customer services.
While somewhat small it has a good mix of shops where I can get most things I want. The undercover parking is good and only a short walk to the shops
Basic shops that most people use. Poor food court no where we would eat except maybe afternoon tea from donut king. Mix of wealthy locals and yobbos
Well layed out, large sized woollies with good variety along with a good array of speciality shops. Plenty of parking and generally lovely staff.
Easy access and good parking availability. Good entrance for disabled people.... all on one level for scooters and electric mobility chairs.
Great shopping centre for the area. A wide variety of shops. Nice little food areas. 2 great coffee shops. Lots of underground parking.
Very nicecregional shopping centre . We were surprised by the variety of shops . It looks very new and is very inviting with its layout
What a good vibe smaller shopping centre that packs a punch of variety and really good parking both under and around the Centre.
Had a deal going didn't realise until after I paid then the shop attendant wouldn't add the deal so walked off disappointed
Very convenient, easy to find the shops, has many good shops. It is my first place to go when I need to buy something.
Great little shopping centre, tucked away, you wouldn't know it was there unless you asked a local. Pleasant shopping.
Not large but has the basics. Some good food at the food court, notably the A La Sultan, the Cob and Co and the Sushi.
A wide range of small and large shops, including Big W and Woollies. Good eating places and excellent parking beneath
Great for a family meal get together. Went to the Cafe near the playground. Been there before. Great staff and food.
Its alright the centre has improved with renovation. I would prefer if they add jb hi fi and other retail shops.
Clean and well managed fresh food everything you need community people were friendly and easy to talk to …
Great centre, Big W and Woolworths, plus Reject shop , Lowes and lots of small shops. Food court also good.
I hadn't been there before,my daughter had, she took me to Woolies. Yeah,it was ok,it's a shopping ctr
Great little shopping centre with something for everyone. Large size woolies. Easy to park undercover.
Stop here frequently for a BOOST and sushi! Cotton on, spec savers and optus hand to have in Richmond!
BLUSH NAILS & BEAUTY I was so happy with the manicure and SNS I had done today. Definitely the best
Restaurants close the kitchens at 3.45 Not happy with that as had to go to Maccas for rubbish food.
Just wandered through and had coffee and a cake, good variety of stores, very clean amenities.
Convenient but with not many options. Good parking facilities. Can get crowded very quickly.
A great range of shops for a town marketplace, but the parking could improve very dangerous.
First time I've been here. Nice medium-sized shopping centre with all the basic stores.
Many people have used this place for all their shopping. Modern looking open and clean.
It's okay, the markets are sometimes on and are always good and can be a good day out
very clean area ,, I left my phone on a bench here for a bit and it didn't get stolen
Close handy. My wife and I shop at Woolworths, BigW and also often but sushi there.
I like this shopping centre, not a extra large centre but has everything you need.
We had bake vegetables for lunch in the food court . Well cook beautiful flavours
Had lovely brunch with our two grandchildren at the Cafe near the playground
Yeah she's not too bad, I go here if I need to go clothes shopping locally
Good parking & range of shops. Clean, varied food court, polite service.
It’s ok one level shopping nice for 30 shopping of quick takeaway coffee
Good variety of stores including Big W and Woolies. Free book exchange!
Hard for car park and no much shopping but clean and beautiful shopping
Has everything that I need, saves me going to the big shopping centre's
Standard experience. Has a great number of shops and some great cafes
Busy as only one escalator works, always felt like Xmas time rush
Nice small mall. The food court has plenty of food choices.
Very Nice place to shop. Very Relaxed and nice people here.
New stores keep this shopping centre interesting and valid
Needs a facelift more than a 50yr old Hollywood actor
Clean and great variety of shops with friendly people
