Wow! What a hidden gem this place is! I thought it would be just a typical small town IGA, BUT WAS I MISTAKEN. It is staggering, very large and expanding. Staff are typical small town friendly and only to willing to help you find something. Thecdeli section alone was worth the drive.. the roast pork is very tasty. But the Asian spiced roast pork belly is magnificent. Well worth breaking your diet for! This IGA has a plethora of food stuffs, fresh dried and canned. A very large meat section and fresh fruit and vegetable section. Ample parking. Good opening hours. Some excellent coffe shops nearby eg Phase Two!

Followed a lady who works there into the front door and pretty much into the main part of the shops as you normaly do! Then all of a sudden staff are jumpin at me like "you cant come through that door you just did keep in mind im following another staff member, you have to go leave out that door and walk around to the other door and go through that! I was already inside the shop by then. They must have the rona virus when you walk through the enrty.

As a permanent resident in the area, Ritchies and the friendly staff are a credit to the region esp during holiday season. However, I was somewhat disappointed with deli service today esp for all of the 6 impatient customers waiting while a young part timer tried to cope. No ticket machine to assist while this deli man satisfied customers admirably. ....I think this young man deserves a pay increase.

This store is a price gouging disgrace !!! Every product I looked to buy , up two dollars on the same else where . Cigarettes try another ten dollars added to the price. Cheaper to travel else where people ! This store would have a huge turnover and be very profitable without over the top prices. Lost me a as consumer! Never again !

The lady at the express check out did not greet me, was looking around not paying any attention very bluntly told me the price of my items and when she gave my change she dumped it into my hands and also i did not receive a goodbye. As an older woman working in customer service I would expect a bit more respect towards customers.

Great range for an IGA, many more premium options than expected. Service time at the deli was long presumably due to staff shortages which was made worse by the fact that people are served before you even after you have been standing there for 10 minutes already - I didn't see a ticket system, I feel like you could use one.

This is a great Ritchies IGA! I remember the 1st time i went to this IGA, i was so suprised. Its a large, modern, clean, well stocked supermarket. It has a really good variety of food. Plenty of parking in & around the immediate vicinty (with or without trailers) & other local shops all in the one close & easy location.

Jason, who served me at the deli section, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and professional. I love that IGA offers a wide selection of locally-sourced goods. I can eat happy knowing I am supporting Australian farmers. Thank you Jason for being so kind, and thank you Ritchie’s IGA for being my supermarket of choice.

Ritchies has a wide selection of foodstuff, deli items and everyday household goods Staff willing to answer questions and point shoppers to the correct shelves. Book swap outside store to the left. Much better customer service that the 3 big grocery sellers in Aus.

I live locally but for all my fruit and veg I shop at Henry Mercato in Mornington. IGA either makes staggering margins or has a hopeless wholesale supply chain. The price difference on everything is just staggering. It's not 'how the locals like it' at all.

Super big store with a large variety of choice. Prices pretty good for place like Balnarring and friendly, helpful staff. Some things were actually extremely cheap, which was surprising. Definitely our go to supermarket when we are holidaying in the qrea

Good to have a full service supermarket in this location, but with such great local produce around there’s no need to go here for things like fruit, veg, cheese or eggs. Get out to a farm gate, market or specialty place instead.

Lots of variety of brands and stocked Aussie products no forced supermarket brands . Fresh produce and deli fantastic . Great checkout personal service by cashiers . A little more expensive but a pleasure to shop there .

Had to pop in to get a few supplies whilst visiting friends. Had everything the big supermarkets have but with the added bonus of lots of smiles. People clearly like working there. If you need supplies, this has it all.

Totally agree with Freddie’s review; this place is Awesome. If only Melbourne could have this range in one place! YUGE array of stock. Organics tick. Fresh made sushi tick. Extensive booze tick. Warm staff tick. In awe!

This IGA Richies has an expanded cheese and cure meat section and a good selection of fresh fruit and veg. There is a liquor store attached and self service check out. If only they could be this good in Melbourne.

Excellent range. Happy young lady at the checkout. Difficult as in the midst of panic buying!! But they were well stocked regardless except for toilet paper and hand sanitizer but food items were plentiful!!

Pretty impressed with the IGA here, really large, lots available and great deli, fresh fruit/veg selection. Staff were helpful and attentive. Pricing not half bad either. Will pop back soon :)

Great store, pretty big for an IGA. Has everything you need and a lot of good little local finds. Some things seem a bit pricey but it's difficult to compete with the big grocery chains.

Love the addition of freshly popped popcorn (with butter of course!) in fresh produce area. Bottle shop is huge, great range of local Mornington Peninsula wines.

Deklin helped us out directing and advising us in the fresh food department. Staff are always lovely, meat department has a good selection as does the deli.

The staff are fantastic, always friendly & happy to help. It is huge & like shopping in a market not a grocery store. The best on the Peninsula.

Great store with 'interesting' staff. The building is beginning to look a bit tired but it doesn't stop the staff's enthusiam and helpfulness.

Fantastic resourse for the local area, there is an extensive range of products. Their range of roast cooked meat is excellent.
