THE VENUE FOR ME IS : 1》 A SMITHSONIAN , WANNA BE (ENDEARING) 2》 A LOOK BACK INTO THE HISTORY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION 3》 AN ENGINEERING ICON , CONSIDERING THE YEARS OF CONSTRUCTION 4》 A BI-LEVEL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION HUB 5》 SERVING TRAINS N-S , E-W , BUS SERVICE ALSO , N-S & E-W In conclusion this Venue (My Opinion) has survived the ravishes of time . All be it , declaratively exposing deterioration . Both visually including it's pungent smells . Yes , it's completely incongruent to newer , glistening Structure's . A very busy and useful stop on the CTA map that connects north with south. The upper platform serves Orange and Green Lines, while the underground subway serves the Red Line. However, the connection is rather lengthy, involving many flights of stairs, escalators, elevators and hallways. The platform is covered, but very exposed to the elements in inclement weather. The subway is a bit dilapidated and is often crowded. In short: it is functional, but not overly enjoyable to use.

This has been my cta stop for the past year, and I have yet to be a victim of a violent crime here HOWEVER that does not mean I feel safe. Lots of sketchy folks around this station, but there is usually a police presence. Remain alert and on guard, especially at night. It is a very convenient stop with the red line and green/orange L transfers- best used during the day when the area is well-populated.

Hoodlums always there almost every night, worst of it on weekends. Tonight had a group asking random people what time it is trying to gauge if they had expensive phones or not. They then were drinking and throwing bottles, arguing with girls and one of them who looks like a 20yr old Steve Harvey trying to sell me weed and then trying to mess with me when I said I'm good. Where is the security?

Chicago CTA is a joke lunatics routinely roaming the station. 1st orange line train to Midway showed 20 mins late on 6-17-17 because some clown was roaming the tracks upstream at the loop. Post some accurate and timely delay info so I can take Uber when your chitty trains shutdown to remove the lunatics from the tracks

As I traverse the majestic Windy City I absolutly love dropping in to my favorite train station: Roosevelt Station! The 5 star customer service, the light speed transport, the... Come on get real it's a Red Line train stop. Move quick, keep your head on a swivel, DON'T "CHECK IT OUT", and keep your wits about you.

2 Police officer come on the right time I feel uncomfortable before thanks for police officers . Homeless people there alot asking money so dangerous. We need police officers more there every day. The have knife lazzor cutter i don't go again this underground so dangerous .

This Roosevelt Station is the most dangerous L stop in the Loop/downtown. It connects with the Green and Red line, brining people from the deep south into the city. Every night, you can expect some type of serious danger.

Elevator was broken last time I was here. Transferring from the elevated orange line to the underground red line with bags from the airport wasn't fun. You'd think a major transfer point would be better maintained...

This station on the red line always has rats every time we come down here and there is long walk to outside and the elevated station on the green and orange lines.

Early in the morning there is too many homeless people walking around. They go in the train station to keep warm. If you don't bother them they are okay!

This place has been a great service to everyone who has lived or been in Chicago. Thank you for having it here.AMEN.

I like this stop cause you can catch different L trains here as long as you know how to read the signs.

I could not figure out how to get out with a stroller and people were slow to help really didn't
