Just after the lockdowns my friend and I came here for dinner to check it out and it was pretty good. The owners were friendly, the food was good and the vibe was nice and cruisy. Over the last few months however we have become regulars at this establishment. It started with outstanding service from Ella, who was gracious and polite while dealing with my tired mumblings and my friend's dietary peccadillos. She was courteous and welcoming assuring us that nothing was too much trouble. Since then she has made us feel like guests in her home whenever we visit. This, coupled with delicious food (and I have sampled a fair portion of the menu at this stage) was enough to have us hooked but then we were served by Vali as well and somehow our experience got even better. Personable and accommodating we always enjoy her company as she serves us with banter that is absolutely on point. To be perfectly honest I can be a bit judgey when I go into other venues. I've been career hospo for near 20 years, it's second nature. I cannot fault the service from these two. Come for the food, stay for the phenomenal staff I say! Hats off to you both, Ella and Vali. Between the tasty dinners and the impeccable service we will be back, again and again no doubt.

Don’t waste your time or money. Worst dining experience I have had. Started off with getting the menus thrown at us by the waitress without a hello or an offer of any water for the table. We ordered our food and drinks which came to the table promptly however $26 for a cocktail that had 3 sips of drink and a full glass of ice is absolutely ridiculous. We ordered a few entrees which were bland and lacked any Mexican authenticity. Then our fish tacos came out - wow. The wraps were stale, the carrot tasted like it came from a bag he fish had come out of the freezer. Then it was drowning in what tasted like coles brand mayonnaise… this carried through to our mains. Tasteless and sloppy. It gets worse… the staff who were working were talking extremely loud about their plans for the night which they used a lot of money profanity. Not to mention they were eating behind the bar for everyone in the restaurant to see. Then they started making themselves alcoholic beverages for what we could only assume was their “pre drinks” before they headed out for the night. Overall a horrible experience and will not be returning.

This was the second time I have been to this place. The first time after 45 minutes with no service we walked away, this was a second chance. Arrived and within 5 minutes asked if we were ready to order...tick. We ordered a beer, a sangria and food. 20 minutes later, still no drinks. The restaurant was maybe 60% full. The drinks arrived eventually and we're good...tick. The food... Mine, a burrito dish arrived. But my wife's, a nachos didn't. I ate the food... Very tasty...tick. I had finished and 20 minutes later my plate was cleared and waitress says "you're still waiting on a meal what toppings were on that"? Another 20 minutes passed, it arrived and it was tasty...tick. The issue was and is a huge issue. That the inattentiveness to service, timing and then when an error is made no attempt to address it. This is the 2nd time, same issue. Either get more staff, who are trained to do the basics. Or continue to lose customers. When I went to pay, the woman (drinks maker) didn't even make an excuse or reason. Just took the money. Food was as good as I've eaten at a Mexican style restaurant, the service close to the worst.

Came here for lunch on weekend. We sat outside and the weather made it a perfect setting. We had the paela and the burger. Burger's taste is average but the Paela is nice. The price isnt too expensive, look out for the weekend extra charge tho. Staffs are super friendly. We noticed they also have another branch in South Melb, we will check it our.

Nicely decorated and food ok. Will NOT return to this place because service of food and drinks was very slow. Most of the 90 minutes was waiting. They seemed disorganised and the kitchen slow. They served the jug of sangria and said the glasses were coming. So we waited and waited. We had to go and ask for them. We waited and waited for the 2 entrees to share - chips and vegan nachos. The chips came out and then we finished that and waited for the nachos. The food tasted ok but was boring and overpriced IMO. The corn chips in the vegan nachos seemed stale to me. There was broccoli in the vgan nachos which i didn't like. You don't need it IMO. They needed to be amazing to make up for wait. It was ok. So we will never come back.

Splendid dining experience. Not a spare seat in the house (on a Friday evening) and despite being late for our booking, we were still gratefully accomodated. Service was on point. Although I have enjoyed this Restaurant in the past, I must say the service and food tonight were absolutely appauling. After asking for non Spicy dishes for kids - both Quasadellias were spicy, and both boys could not eat them. Feedback from waitress - ‘Oh i forgot to tell you’. My fajita was served with BURNT wraps and when I showed them and aked for 1 additional wrap to replace the BUTNT one, I was charged for 3! I raised my issues whilst at the store however no recourse was made available and a $5 refund was offered (after waiting 10 minutes). Disgusting service and wont be going back!

Great service and friendly staff but very overpriced...$5 for a CAN of Coke, $30 for average fajitas. We asked for a take away container to take what we couldn't finish with us and they actually added that our bill, they literally charged us for a doggy bag (1 small foil container)..I've never had any restaurant anywhere do that before. We spent $120+ on food for 2 people and they want to hit us up for a takeaway container too; great way to lose repeat business. Based on this alone, I wouldn't go back.

Ordered 2x burritos and loaded fries for a weekday dinner. The loaded fries were delicious and very filling. The pulled pork burritos we had were disappointing a below standard. The meat was dry, the vegetable choice of peas and chopped carrots didn’t work and it would have been better with some sort of sauce. I will say the burritos were of good quantity as they were filling. The burritos took about 30mins to come out as well and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. Overall, I would possibly consider coming back in the future to try something else. :)

We were very disappointed with our experience here. To begin with there seemed to be no idea what was going on in relation to service. This meant we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Eventually when my meal came out it was cold and the corn chips were stale, followed by the staff forgetting my partners meal and it coming out 15 min later after mine. The staff did not acknowledge the wait for forgotten food and we’re very clueless and dismissive. The following day we were both unwell, putting it down to some food poisoning.

I loved our food. The chicken and pulled beef were just melting in my mouth. The only thing I'd like more is a bit more zing (perhaps lime juice?) in my burrito bowl, less charge for the jalapenos on the side and a bit of Mexican music in the background. The sour cream and garlic chipotle aioli was well balanced and delicious. The staff were lovely and warm. I'd come back for more.

Been here a few times and all I can say is WOW.. The venue was buzzing, people were laughing and enjoying their meals and with a bit of music and some warmth on these cold nights just really topped it off. THANK YOU RICKY! We decided to give this place a try yesterday for dinner (as our other planned restaurant was closed). Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Ricky who was very welcoming, friendly, and had a great sense of humour! The food was also delicious/ perfect sized meals. All in all, Rosa Mexicano Williamstown was pretty good. We had the Taco Platter and enjoyed 4 different tacos. All were very tasty. We also had the Croquettes and these were very crunchy and delicious. We also enjoyed the Sangria, it had a very home made taste to it. The Margaritas were unfortunately disappointing. The service overall was good, but I noticed the waitresses forgot to offer water to us and all patrons seated outside. The value for money was quite good too. I would definitely come back.

Love the food and vibe of this place. It offers delicious vegan options too. Rosa Mexicano is located amongst a number of cafes but the ambience was really good here. The place also allows dogs if you choose to sit outdoor. Its a great place to hang out at on a beautiful sunny day. The staff is polite and accommodating and the service is impeccable. We had a good time here.

We have had takeaway many times from here but this time is the last time. We ordered 2 fajitas and 1 sizzling brownie and it cost $80. The brownie alone was $16. Way overpriced and they charged extra for guacamole which previously came standard with the fajitas. Never again. (Mothers Day Weekend) Faulty Towers had less mistakes then the team running this establishment. From fighting to order drinks through to watching staff have no idea where to deliver food to it was clear they were under pressure. It gave the feel that the owners had just taken over the place and were struggling to run a restaurant. Fingers crossed they figure it out as the food was pretty good and this place is clearly popular with locals.

One of the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in Melbourne. The staff was very friendly with us and the Kids. The service was quite neat and quick. The food was extremely delicious. The beverage was something special in itself and the churros were just amazing

I used to love this place but is getting worse every time I order. Their chili con carne is now super dry and chips are not crispy anymore. I ordered the chocolate mousse and it had a bit of an odd sour flavour. I called to see if it was freshly made and they said yes, but I don’t know, it didn’t taste right. Sad cause it was my to-go Mexican restaurant

Just recently discovered this gem in Williamstown. The Fajitas are delicious, and the dessert menu looks lethal. Tried a Mojito mocktail and it was amazing. Alot of effort has gone into this menu. Attentive service, family friendly atmosphere, we had a great night out.

The food is truly delicious and the prices quite reasonable. There's a variety of options to choose from on the menu. The tacos are probably one of the best that I've ever tried! However, the waiting staff should be more attentive but considering the stress of reopening, I quite understand it. I definitely think that it deserves 5 stars!

Had to give 5 stars!! We just ate at the Williamstown location and WOW, I can safely say that was by far the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! Authentic Mexican flavours and a “home cooked” natural taste to the food. Enchilada was fantastic. Highly recommend with great friendly service. Will definitely be returning, we’ll done guys!!

We had about 25 people dine in last night for my sisters birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone enjoyed all the meals that came out and there was a great amount of food. We all went home full and the churros for the kids were a big hit! The staff are just brilliant and lovely people aswell. All around a fantastic night!

Extremely stale and hard “soft taco” that was clearly very old and also not placed onto a grill or warmed in any way. Filling of chipotle chicken tasted like the dregs from a coles bbq chicken with a bland sauce on top which was then drowned in chipotle aioli and sour cream. Would never eat here again.

Food was okay, little bit pricey. The waitress was lovely however when asking for some condiments (as the burrito Was quite dry) we were told they would not give us any and if we wanted some we would have to purchase a bottle. Will not return in a hurry. I’d give the Margarita cocktails a 4/10.

We had a lovely lunch in a sunny spot in the window. Delicious coconut mocktail and food. Liked that the chef asked how hot we wanted the chill dish. And also thought the decor was fresh and fun. Welcome to Williamstown guys and well done for being brave enough to open a restaurant post covid!

Our first time visiting Rosa Mexicano in Williamstown and definitely not our last! Delicious food and cocktails. Excellent and friendly staff. Great location with plenty of parking at the front. Their signature chicken and mushroom burrito is a must!

Really great Mexican food. The service was a little disappointing at the beginning, looked like they were understaffed. Nearly 15 mins before we got to order. Second time we have been here since they opened late last year, and once again amazing Mexican.

We've eaten here many a time and are never disappointed. Great place to soak up the atmosphere and sun!

The food is good but we ordered a burrito with no coriander because of an allergy. There should definitely be a disclaimer that all the meat is marinated in coriander. This is potentially life threatening!! It was up to me to change the item.
