We chose this place because of the food reviews and was very excited to visit! Please be mindful that this venue is not disable friendly/ no wheel chair access and with very steep stairs, we would had reconsidered the location as we had our 80 year old mum with us service wise, all the staff were wonderful and attentive! The best dish was the grilled chicken however the flavours with our other dishes were so-so. Our grilled octopus dish was cold and the way the texture was dry and tough, as though reheated instead of being cooked fresh. My mocktail (ginger dream) was so sour that I had to get some syrup/ginger beer added. Overall an okay experience.

Amazing experience! We sat in the rooftop area and as it was a cold night, the roof was covered in with a couple of heaters on. The temperature was just right, nice and cozy with a great ambience. The staff were lovely and very attentive to our needs. The ceviche was so fresh and delicious and I loved the plantain. The pork belly was so yum and the satay that went with it was to die for! An extensive drinks list with lots of cocktail choice whether you want a cheeky marg or something a bit sweeter. I can't wait to come back and eat and drink more. Seems like a perfect spot for all year round!

Late review but we’ll worth the wait. This place was VEGAN AND GLUTEN FRIENDLY! Very intimate venue and had an amazing experience with the south American cuisine. We were super tired so we bought the vegan set menu that was $60 per person and it was enough food, with leftovers. Highly recommend for a group or date. Favourite dish of the night was the eggplant starter. Thankyou guys for a good night

I have recently been dining at this fantastic gluten-free restaurant and I couldn't be more impressed. Not only do they offer an entire menu of gluten-free options, but their margaritas are also absolutely to die for. The cherry on top is their open rooftop, which adds a delightful atmosphere to the St Kilda dining experience. Not to mention, the impeccable service provided by the staff truly is great. If you're looking for a place that combines mouthwatering cuisine, superb margaritas, and a charming open rooftop setting with top-notch service, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Came for a friends birthday dinner on a Thursday night. Good range of options, I had the smoked eggplant (in blurry photo ) small portion for $14. For main I had jackfruit enchilada and a side of chips however chips never came and only realised once we had finished eating. Brought a cake which they storage’s and served which was great. Good cocktails and great place, you wouldn’t expect it to be all GF. Staff were lovely Overall nice experience for my gluten intolerance girlies.

Rufio is a wonderful gluten free option if you are GF yourself or have friends who are or if you just want to enjoy a wonderful, clean, delicious meal! We thoroughly enjoyed our whole meal, the tostadas were the highlight for me! The service was fantastic, the venue is glorious and the only comment I had was that the steak could’ve been more tender! A place I would definitely return to if I was in the area! I hope you guys get the chance to try! 4/5 #invite

What a gem!! Food was absolutely beautiful. We had two guest who were vegan and gluten free and their dishes were absolutely incredible. Food quality was fantastic. Service was also really good. Definitely a must try! The best dish was definitely the miso glazed tooth fish, and the pork belly. We will be coming back.

Absolutely 10/10! All gluten free! Enjoyed all the food! Especially the salmon ceviche and grilled octopus! Delishhhhh! Recommend the rooftop on a warm night! Mwah! Spenny side but with it!

Fantastic place for a dinner. Rooftop is great, quiet and well decorated. Service was fantastic! Ana was incredible. She made our night fun and enjoyable with her sweet talking and kind words. I totally recommend Rufio for a food experience.
