Ross came out and quoted on our business move, offering between 3.5k and 4k plus discounted storage fees. I agreed to that offer on Friday and followed up on Monday to confirm and was told that it was booked for Thursday. On Tuesday the ops manager came to view the equipment and said that "actually, this is too big for us" and cancelled the job. As a result we've had to accept a quote at a much higher rate because the other company was the only one who could help at a day and a half notice. They also listed storage items and prices on their site that they didn't have.

We have has paintings damaged that are not repairable, tables broken, and ended up with items that were not even ours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Our legal team are now taking care of the damages suffered under the Consumer Guarantee engagement of a Service. Despite what the owner says below, this company has failed to acknowledge any damages to personal goods, NEVER offered a remedy or solution, let alone repair or replacement. Unfortunately there are numerous other dissatisfied customers.

I have used this company many times over the years with friends and more recently moving some items into storage and then onto auction company. They also came over once and moved my heavy antique piano from one side of my house to the other at a very cheap rate. At all times the staff and moving men have been very helpful, careful with my goods, efficient and professional. I am very happy to use this company next time I need them for storage or moving. Rates are very reasonable.

Rod was very easy to deal with and was able to quote over the phone - so much more cost and time friendly than other providers. On the move day, seemed the truck that arrived was determined as too small so the move team went back to depot to return with a 20' container - a much better solution as my items are to be stored for a period of time. Looking forward to having the same team (Theo & Jason) move me into my property - once it's ready!

These guys have been amazing. Today Rod and Andrew helped us move a three bedroom house. I've been moving almost every year for a while and have used many different moving services: you guys have been the best so far. Quick and professional. They knew what they were doing. The truck was packed so neatly and securely. The rate was also really good, and we did this over the weekend! I am just so pleased. Highly recommend.

This company moved my sister in Melbourne and stored her material for 12 months. When we received the consignment in Hobart, many items were missing including a fridge, expensive computer and a double bed among other things and the total missing or damaged is in excess of $10,000. They are not co-operating in compensating her and we are taking legal action against them. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

We used Safe and Sound Removalists to assist with our recent move. We had them move our bigger items to a house with a staircase. The guys were great, they maneuvered our goods without knocking any walls etc and took care of our things. They quoted a very competitive price - half of that quoted by Man with a Van. When we move in the future we will use them again. I recommend them to anyone needing a removalist.

I would like to thank the whole team at Safe and Sound Removals from Ross, who came over to give me a quote then drop off boxes and paper, to the removal team who did the Removal on the day. I think it was Mick and Sean really went out of there way to make sure it was a successful move. My sister is moving next month I'll make sure she uses those boys. I can't thank Ross and his team enough. Great service and competitive pricing for our move. The team arrived early and moved half of our belongings carefully from our home to our rental; and later a truck arrived with a container to store the other half of our belongings. It was a long day and the team were extremely professional. I would highly recommend Safe and Sound.

I definitely recommend Safe & Sound Storage and Removals. They did a great job helping us to move. Really good communication during the booking stage. On the day they were reliable, hard working and careful. Very friendly and fun guys except for Morrie (he told me to say that ) Blair and Rod were great and all for a very reasonable price.

Thanks to Ross and the boys who did a fantastic job of packing and storing our household goods for 6 months and arranging delivery and unpack at our new house. I would just like to say that Sean and Mark were amazing. I thought we would be going all day and night because of all the stuff we had however to our surprise it all went so quickly and smoothly it was unbelievable. If ever we move again I'll be calling Safe and Sound Removals. Nice job guys.

I would highly recommend Safe and Sound removals. They were highly professional and treated my furniture with extreme care. Moving can be very stressful and they had a calm approach.I am a single mother too and previous removalists had stratched the walls . Anyway, they were fantastic.

I found all the men removing my furniture where efficient and well mannered. Even when they moved my furniture into an apartment which was tricky. Not one piece of my furniture was damaged. I would highly recommend this company .
