I work in the area so 1 star for the good location. But everything else is terrible, the only lift is in terrible condition, one singular dim bulb left working, the floor of the lift is also damaged, the walls of the lift was vandalised and left so. Car park lots are extremely narrow, there were many times i had to climb across to the passenger seat to get out of my car, even then it was a tight squeeze. Carpark is also dimly lit, especially in winter when it gets dark early - does not inspire confidence at all. The safety mirror at the exit gantry was vandalised and obscures the view - nothing has been done to clean the mirror. I parked for 3 months, they charged me at random times - they did not charge me on my first month and then suddenly charged for 3 months in the 2nd month which caused hiccups in my accounts and then I receive an email which claimed i owed $1000 in arrears, i wrote back providing evidence of payments made but never heard back from that person who send the original email. "Great" customer service. Anyway I'm glad I found a cheaper permanent parking nearby. Adios.
Disgusting! Was held hostage in there for 15-20 mins. All machines were returning an "invalid card" message across my 3 cards, so I tried to knock on office door. Nobody available... ...so I drove to exit and tried to pay there. Same problem and then it ate one of my cards. I had to hold down the intercom button for a minute before anybody answered. When they did, they asked for my mobile number which I gave them. I had 2 bars and she kept claiming my phone was off and going to voicemail. Eventually, after the threat of police, she sent for the technician who took 10 mins to get there. The car park is so small that there was no way to reverse up again. A passing stranger said he has had the same problem 4 times in the last month. Avoid this car park at all costs! $50 for 90 mins, plus the 20 mins trapped!
Poorly lit, poorly maintained, grubby. Went down the nearest stairs and ended up in a filthy side alley which looked and smelled like it was used by tramps for sleeping. Came to pay - put in the ticket, paid and pressed button for receipt. No receipt! After pressing the button several times, somebody started speaking to me. Told me I should have pressed receipt button before putting ticket in machine - I pointed put this was not explained or rather tried to. Person on intercom talked over me, wouldn’t listen so I walked away. And they charged me $50 for 2.5 hours. Even in daylight, I would advise single women to avoid as potentially dangerous.
We were stuck for about an hour as well as around 20 other customers. No pay stations worked for anyone to pay at. We called the help desk hoping they would help us pay but they started accusing us of trying to get out of paying, and we’re incredibly rude. The solution for your company is simple, get your customer service teamed trained in how to appropriately speak to customers who may or may not be in a hurry, fix the payment system so YOUR COMPANY gets paid. This was the worst experience I’ve had with trying to pay for something, you should want my money these problems are easy to fix so please fix them for your sake
Stairwell smells very strongly of urine and cigarettes and payment options are limited when both credit card and cash payments barely work*. Calling for assistance is also next to useless as I could barely hear the guy on the other end. Avoid at all costs. * my card was rejected but is valid as I'm able to make payments everywhere else and notes need to be in perfect condition and even then the $10 note I used was rejected despite being in mint condition
When I tried to pay it rejected my card 3 times but charged my account for all 3 attempts then was instructed over the speaker that I had to pay to get out even though my account says I have 3 times. So I went to the nearest ATM to get cash out and by the time I got back I had to pay the higher rate for the time the whole stuff around took... $50+ for less than half an hour parking... i shouldve parked in the street and copped a fine instead....
Used this carpark for a week while in town, twice the ticket was bad and wouldn’t be accepted by the payment machine. Call button help desk was anything but helpful, ended up calling the landline both times and processing payments over the phone. Clearly from the reviews an urgent upgrade of the ticket and pay machines is needed, customers shouldn’t have to run around to pay.
Terrible! Never come back again. Be careful, if you want to pay $125 for picking up your car! How come it shuts at 7pm on Saturdays? And there isn’t any clear notices for this? There is only a small tag showing the closing time! I came to city for dinner! But I needed to come back before 7pm? Otherwise I need to pay $125 for picking up my car! What a joke!
Unfortunately this place is very dirty. The lift stinks and the buttons are filthy to touch, the staircase ohh don’t get me started it stinks so bad. The parking spots are very tiny and you are sure to get door bumps from other cars parked. I have used other secure parks in the city as well but this one is one of the worst out there.
The positive about this, is the location. It is beside the train station, and near Queen street. The location is perfect, if you want to go around Collins and Queens. I gave it lower stars because there is few parkings ahead, which is cheaper and on Flinders Road. Moreover, the entrance is not very much wide and driver-friendly.
Except when I went to leave it was locked. My daughter booked it online and it wasn't clear they closed early on a Sunday, even though it was a public holiday. We did however get the car out so that was good. Location was really good. Price was even better. Especially for city parking.
Very secure car parking, very reasonable rates (especially if you're staying at the Oaks Melbourne on Market). Some issues with getting a 'bad ticket' which can lead to problems with exiting but can be resolved by talking to staff via the intercom. Good location …
This is literally the worst dingiest disgusting car park. The amount of people that experience issues exiting with ticket and credit card issues that hold up everyone else on top of tight spaces and a stairwell that is a cesspit of homeless paraphanelia. Absolute garbage.
The stairwell stinks. There isn't much space to manoeuvre if you have a larger car and the payment machines don't use NFC so you can't use google / apple pay. Also very expensive, but it's the CBD so that's to be expected I guess. Only use as a last resort.
Stairwell and public areas and revolting and smell of urine. Onee of the exit doors I used was blocked by dumped rubbish that had clealry been there a long time. There needs to be better lightning, was very dark throughout. Felt very unsafe and dirty.
Do not park here not secure at all parked here on friday to sunday for a weekend in melbourne while staying at motel on return car had smashed window and property stolen rang to tell them didnt realy care and still had to pay to leave DO NOT GO THERE
Unfortunately I'm joining the other poor reviews for this carpark. They dont believe in making it convenient for customers to pay ( not accepting contactless - requiring a physical card... Who carries more than just their mobile phone these
Only accept physical card or even cash and no payment can be made at Exit. They put a notice board said apologize for inconvenient with payment and would update soon at Exit Door, but I pretty sure it has been there for a while and will be
Don’t park here. I have been parking here every day for 2.5 years paying $25 a day. Today I was late for the early bird parking due to a truck blocking the entrance. No exception on the $70 fee for entering past 10 am. Pretty poor
I was so hesitant to book this parking space because of bad reviews but I'm glad I did. It's so much cheaper compared to others. I parked for 1hr and only cost $8.10 (booking fee included) Only issue is that, bays are quite small
I want to give 0 stars. It is so poorly designed, all entrance and entries have cars stucking there waiting for the machine to work properly. Don’t come to park here unless you want to have your car stocked in there for ever
i booked online for parking. very confuse pin press machine. there are 3 machines and don't know which one is for online booking. no instructions or details. the location is great easy to find and can walk to yarra River.
By far The worst parking on Flinders st. Had to wait 45mins for the operator to open the gate for each car (the card reader machine was broken) for line of 8-10 cars Useless after hours outsourced support
Park here every week. I book the ‘early bird’ online and never have issues - I book the night before or early morning. Price ranges $16-$19 all day. Only downside is the place smells like urine.
Great place to park when visiting Melbourne Tourist sites. Halfway between the Aquarium and Bourke St Mall and directly opposite south bank. Buy your parking online as good saving of money.
Be careful as your cards won't work when you want to check out. Advisable to pay using the machines located near elevators before getting in your car. Reasonable rates in the city limits.
The most disgusting dirty car park I have ever been in. The elevator looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Completely putrid and completely over priced. Will not return.
most of payment machine are not working, i got late due to this and paid $28 for this delay, even customer service couldn't helpful.... avoid if you can
Says accepts card only but will not accept digital card then charge you a surcharge for their own mistake. They pay for fake positive reviews as well.
There is no option for cash payments. There is No mobile or virtual card payment. Have to call for help to pay if you don't have your card with you.
The worst parking place EVER! closes before 10pm. They’re paying machines are all broken and don’t take Credit card payment at the gate! AVOID
Machine won’t accept my ticket when I was leaving even though it was fine 45 min to pay over the phone and open the gate for me.
The place smells like urine Advertising $25 all day weekends but the change on my account $25.57 do they do this to every car??
The stairwell is absolutely foul - the odour of urine is so overwhelming I almost puked. Sort this out Secure.
Avoid this carpark Payment methods don't work Save your time and energy and use a different carpark
Easy access right in the middle of town You can catch the tram right out front
Easy to find. Prices good, spaces a little tight for my Jeep
Very tight. Larger cars may find it hard to negotiate.
Can't complain decent prices good location …
A bit compact but good enough for small car
