"The guys at Shade tree are great! They are super knowledgeable and helpful as well as just genuinely friendly"
My wife and I got all set to go for a bike ride at Brown's Ranch and discovered my front tire was flat. I tried to get the tire off the rim without success. I decided to try out Shadytree Bikes because of previous good reviews, and because it was on the route we would take to Brown's Ranch. I was blown away by the service that Carl provided. He had me fixed up with a new puncture resistant tube and a brake adjustment in about 25 minutes. He is very cordial and knowledgeable and didn't want to charge me for he work he did on my brakes. I insisted he charge me, so he did, but the price for everything was most reasonable. Quick, friendly service, at a fair price, is going to get my business every time.
I picked this place because of the high reviews, and Carl proved why he's 4.9. I am riding tomorrow, and this morning saw I had a flat on the rear tire (above my pay grade). Called and asked any chance on getting a flat fixed today, and he had me come in at the end of the day, and it's done! But... while he was doing that, he noticed my stem was a little loose (scored a used Haro off Offerup a week ago, and bars did twist a bit on trails) and he put a spacer and tightened her all up, and didn't ask for anything for that. I'm skipping Amazon and ordering my bike rack, and other parts, accessories through Shadetree. AND, I get to ride tomorrow! Rock on, thanks Carl.
This is the best MTB bike (any discipline really) shop in the area. This team, David (Henry), Jacob, and Adrian (I know I’m missing a couple) have been very giving with their knowledge and expertise. Shadetree’s team is worth your time and money. Everyone there is passionate about cycling and it shows through their work. You can expect your bike to be done right the first time and with stellar service. They treat your bike like it’s their own. The team is humble enough to ask if something is to your satisfaction, or admit if they wouldn’t feel comfortable doing something. Worth stating because there are some shops who could learn from teams like Shadetree.
My experience with this shop has been wonderful. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly, not stuck up or aloof. They worked quickly, and thoroughly, and then invited me to their group rides. I would highly recommend them for bike fixes, as well as info of local trails and on bikes in general. Story: I bought a new bike from another shop, and found out after a while that they did not do a good job assembling the bike. Unfortunately, they did not have time to rectify this because they closed down. Shadetree did all of the corrections and got it running like it should have been for an extremely generous price. Major Kudos.
The guys at Shade tree are great! They are super knowledgeable and helpful as well as just genuinely friendly. They host a couple regular social rides that are great and are able to help in generally any discipline. They have the hook up on vassago cycles as well, if you're in to steel and Ti single speeds and the like. They are generally a QBP dealer, but have some other brands that I haven't really seen elsewhere, such as factor. Tim and David are the guys I usually talk to when I'm there. Great dudes.
Can’t say enough about this place. I dropped my Ibis Ripmo off to them and started telling them what was going on with it. While I was doing that, they were writing everything down and repeating it back to me. This is huge in my book. Communication is everything. I instantly had confidence in leaving the bike with them for the first time. You can tell these guys take their craft seriously. When I picked the bike up, everything ran flawlessly. This place definitely earned a customer for life. Thank you shadetree!
I own several bikes including some ebikes and an emountain bike. Of course some shops can be aloof to certain riders or new riders, but I can't express how incredibly well they guys at this shop have treated me. At times I commute to work on my mountain bike, and I have literally seen them drop everything to get me back on the road! They have gone out of their way numerous times to help me get parts etc. They constantly surprise me with their customer service and prices. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
I walked in due to having a flat on my beach cruiser staff helped me just fine. Sold me a thorn resistant tube cost $18 I then asked if I could use a tool so I could fix the tire. At my surprise they said no. I am a single father just got off work and was trying to get home to my children it was 105 outside. It ended up taking me 2 hours to get it fixed. If They would have loaned me the tool it would have only taken me 35 minutes..expensive tube. Unkind counter help
The employees at this shop are very helpful and not at all pretentious bike jockeys. They are also very reasonably priced. I went to two other places for quotes on a bike tuned up. Both of the other places quoted me nearly twice as much as Shadetree. Additionally those other shop did not take the time to explain the repairs and the necessity of the repairs like the staff at Shadetree did. If you want affordable, professional service, Shadetree is the best option.
These guys are great. Real people, down to earth and truly interested in your needs. I am in from MN riding in AZ to get some warmer weather, todays ride however was 40 degrees and rain. I double flatted and needed more tubes, CO2 and another tail light for the foul weather. Even though I was dripping wet and cold they were happy to help. They took care of my needs and gave me better directions than I had from Ride with GPS. Thanks guys.
Shadetree has always done a great job for me at a reasonable/comparable price. I didn't realize how bad my rear derailleur cable had gotten until I had them replace it. On my first go after them replacing it my shifter went through three gears like butter using the same force it used to take me to get through one. I'm very happy with them and will continue to use them as my go-to, preferred LBS. Thanks guys!
Very friendly, helpful/informative staff. From beginner to pro cycling, they know their stuff. They are best known for their repairs and building of bikes but they still have a great selection of bikes on hand. Very pleased with the service and my knew mountain bike. I'll be coming here from now on. They also have a mountain bike run up one of the North Mountain trails every Thursday.
This guys are the best! Top notch crew. Spencer is wizard who will treat you and you bike right. They aren't the biggest shop, but they can and will do EVERYTHING to make you the most satisfied customer. You absolutely won't leave Shadetree disappointed. They have beautiful bikes to look at, cool people to talk to, and multiple group rides throughout the week.
They did a tune up on my two mountain bikes and fixed anything that needed repair, cleaned them both and put a new seat on one of them. The bikes look brand new and the guys who work/own this shop are amazing! They went out of their way to accomodate me getting the bikes there and back. I'm so glad I found them, now I can ride my bikes again! Thank you.
Awesome shop, and great staff! Just bought a Haro Flightline 2 29 from them, my first ever mountain bike and was so happy that I bought my daughter a Haro shredder 14" BMX bike in pink to match her helmet that we bought from them for her strider when she first started riding. Overall very happy and will continue to do business with them in the future!
This place is great!! They got both our bikes in and out super quick with great prices! I was expecting a couple hundred bucks for the repairs we needed and it ended up costing us less than half that. They are super nice and experienced. Make sure you give the puppy some love too!! Once you start, you won't wanna stop! Ask my daughter!
I have come here multiple times and dealt with four different staff members, and can happily say that I've had a great experience every time. I do not feel pressured to spend money, but best of all leave more educated than before. I highly recommend this shop, it's quickly become a personal favorite of mine.
I stopped by looking for an entry level bike for myself and though they didn't have what I wanted Jacob went out of his way to point me in the right direction. He answered ALL of my questions and gave me some great advice! I actually felt bad that I didn't purchase anything! Customer service at its BEST!!!
Excellent service, great personalities. No bike store snobbery which is unfortunately common these days. Due to a lengthy backorder on a dropper seat post - without asking - Joey and crew put on a dropper to ride until mine came in (about 6 weeks) and didn't charge for it. Best service ever!
The #1 bike shop in the valley, the staff is friendly and knowledgable, their prices are excellent and their selection of bicycles is top notch. I had a bike fitting done and my bike has never felt better. Do not hesitate going to this shop, you'll never get better service.
I was looking for a specific part on my kid's tricycle. I had a hard time finding it online and decided on looking at local bicycle shops. This shop didn't have what I was looking for but gave me tips on how to make the repair with common household items. Awesome service!
The guys at the bike shop were really friendly, and the service was super quick! I needed to buy a new seat post since my original seat and seat post got stolen. Went in the shop with my bike, got the dimensions for the seat post measured,
Highly recommend this local bike shop. They have worked on both my road and mountain bikes and in both cases did a fantastic job. With my road bike they listed to my mild concerns with the bike and addressed them during a tune up session.
Great service, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I broke an odd part during a race and ,Joey who I had never met before, let me use one off of his personal bike so that I could finish. Everything you would want in a bike shop!
Excellent shop with superior service. Joey built me a custom set of wheels for my Mountain Bike and it was the best investment I ever made. I recommend you go see Joey and Spencer to see how a service based bike shop should be run.
I went in to get a tire tube replaced, they got me set up with a thorn resistant tube and some slime. Had it done in 5 or so minutes and I was out the door. Wonderful customer service and knowledge of the sport
First time in the shop. Service is outstanding. The staff made some great recommendations for tires on an upcoming race and introduced me to a new wax style chain lube. I would definitely recommend this place.
My wife and I have been going to this shop for years. The people that work here are great and they have done an incredible job on all of our bikes. Strongly recommend them for any service that you need!
Hands down the best bike shop you will ever visit.. Customer service. CHECK. Quality work.CHECK. and of course PRiCE IS Perfect! Haven't been to a bike shop like this in a while. Ask for Dave or Tim
(I asked about the phone being out of service- they said they know and it's an issue with the provider) SUPER customer service from these guys! Relaxed shop atmosphere, free advice,
Took my Trek Domane in for a tune up. The fellas did no less than the best tune up I ever had. No muss, no fuss, no extra billing. Bike wants to go by itself. Lol. Thanks!
My new favorite bike shop! Exceptional, fast service and most important these guys are honest. Highly recommend I won't go anywhere else now. Thank You Shadetree!
We just purchased a men’s 2020 Del Sol Soulville. Tim assembled the bike and the bike is flawless just as the customer service we received. Would recommend them.
Went in for a frustrating flat that I couldn’t get done. I was greeted with a smile, and my tire was fixed while I chatted with the Employee/owner. Nice job!
Awesome shop, with great staff. I am very picky about who works on my bike (I usually do most maintenance myself) I do not even hesitate to take it to them!
I just bought a new bike and basket, this is a great place to get your bikes and get them fixed. The employees are very helpful and friendly.
Best shop in town, no question. The employees are always very helpful and the service couldn’t be better. Won’t take my bike anywhere else.
These guys are awesome! Took care of the flat on my ebike no problem. Their prices are really reasonable...highly recommend! Thanks fellas!
I walked in and immediately I was greeted. The staff was more than helpful and they exceeded my expectations and more. Thank you Shadetree!
Stopped in to get my daughter's eBike brakes serviced, they are friendly and helpful suggesting a gooseneck to raise the handlebars higher.
Professional and friendly bike shop these guys know their stuff, large selection and awesome pricing. Highly recommend for mountain biking
Always nice guys and never talk down to people like some shop hands do.Work is pro. and priced fairly.Go to shop for parts and services.
Great customer service! They fixed my tire and went above and beyond by safely assisting me with installing my bike rack! Thank you!!!
David was great! First time in and took time explaining things to me that I didn't understand which I really appreciated. Great shop!
Awesome customer service, quality, and pricing. Everyone is really knowledgeable and takes the time to help out. Highly recommend.
Joey did a wonderful job getting my new Giant ready and tuning it. I am really enjoying riding my new bike, thanks to Joey.
Love this shop! Great service and awesome staff. If you run into David tell him I said ‘hi’ - haha, inside joke there.
This quaint bike shop has great customer service and friendly staff, very helpful, this is my go to shop for repairs.
Condescending and RUDE! Never have I been so disrespected for just asking simple questions. …
Great service! More concerned about helping me make decisions than selling me a bike. True customer service.
Great service, nice and knowledgeable folks. Took great care of us, we were in and out with the bike fixed!
Great shop for high end mountain and road repair and advice. On floor selection of bikes is very selective.
