Why isn't there anyone at the register? Every time I go to this location I stand there for several minutes, before I get annoyed and begin to search for an employee. The cashier is always doing other tasks such as stocking shelves. That might be acceptable at smaller locations where the till can be seen from anywhere in the store, but not at one located in a major shopping center. Today, I couldn't bother to play hide and seek. I put a loonie on the counter and walked out with a can of pop. I pretended not to notice, but the guy behind me took that loonie and also left the store with his items (or if you want to get technical, YOUR items). I imagine that happens a lot here. If you think you are saving money by over working the insufficient staff that you have, I'd beg to differ. You'll just have annoyed staff and a high theft rate. If you don't want your cashier to just stand around during down times, bring tasks to them to perform at or near their station.

Beyond disappointed with the service from one of this stores managers. Spoke with one of the employees over the phone who said that they were going to put a product on hold for me as I was commuting to the location and that I was on my way. Upon arrival I said I was there to purchase an item that was on hold. I was directed to the manager who then stated without knowing what I was here to purchase that the product was sold out. This all happened within 10 minutes of my original phone call where I was promised the product was A)still in stock and B) on hold for me. As there is several other shoppers drug marts in the area I strongly recommend going to any other one if you are looking for even a shred of customer service.

If I could give a leser rating i would. Rude and felt like I was under deserving. Provided all info at pick up was told to go to drop off cause all paperwork was there. 5 feet between the two locations provided all info again and was told no appointments were booked. I was told by shoppers staff to come in for my shingles shot and no one booked it. This is the 4 to 5 time this entity has pulled stuff like this.. last time i enter thier facility. Moving all prescriptions away from this nightmare. No one wants to assist they all want to pass it off. All after being told to come in, an hour each way still no shot.. I will make sure I tell everyone of the poort service, even after meeting the pharmacist during covid.

The staff members in the pharmacy at Shoppers Drug Mart are the epitome of commitment and professionalism. Every encounter demonstrates their depth of knowledge and skill in the pharmaceutical industry. The staff was always prepared to offer correct information and advice if I had a query or worry regarding my medicine. We were really grateful for their patience as they patiently explained doses and complicated medical words. Despite the large number of customers, they were able to keep a well-organized system that allowed for the speedy and precise dispensation of prescriptions. The personnel always took the time to answer any further questions I had, and I never had to wait for too long.

Went to the pharmacy this afternoon a very nice technician told us the pharmacist was gone to the back and would be back soon. When she came back she was very abrupt did not wait for us to a quick question my friend had about an allergy meds. Instead said I'd need your health card to bill you and she'd have time to talk to us at 2 230 and this was 1230 She explained this was the policy of shoppers drug mart. Pretty crazy as I work for shoppers drug mart and know this is not a policy. So we went to shoppers at bath and vista where the pharmacist was amazing and led us in the right direct. By simply saying yes that is the med you need. Bad customer service Cataraqui pharmacy.

Last week I needed prescriptions filled so I went in person and also I wanted to pick up some supplies. The pharmacy was great however when I was checking out my other purchases, the cashier was the most impersonal and unfriendly person I have ever had serve me in a store. It seemed like she was doing everything in her power not to look at me. I tried to lighten things up and her face was absolutely emotionless- she gave the impress that she hated her job and even more so, that she had to work with actual customers. I might have thought she was having a bad day but this not the first time. Please teach your staff how to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Blonde / grey haired assistant at the pharmacy was super rude and clearly needs to learn some basic communication skills. She was rude to the person ahead of me and I thought maybe it was the circumstance, but I was wrong. Blatantly rude and sarcastic when I asked about getting a few of my pills to tie me over until the end of the week as I was instructed to by my Doctor, saying “we don’t just give away drugs” as if that’s what I was implying. Pharmacist herself was very helpful and did help me out with this. Would have rather just spoken directly with the pharmacist to begin with. Leave your miserable personality at home lady.

Terrible customer service! I had bought a skincare product and found that it was sold with the protective seal broken on the inner packaging. I tried to return the product because I didn't want to take any risks and was told there was no way that it would have been sold with the seal removed or that maybe it was supposed to be sold that way! Any excuse not to give me a refund and I was made to feel like I had done it myself. I made a formal complaint to Shoppers but never received a reply. Will no longer be shopping there!

Pros: -They were conveniently open on Good Friday. -The pharmacist was perfectly helpful in answering my OTC questions -The location is large, clean, and very well-organized Cons: -The employee in the cosmetics department complained that I was 'still in the fragrance section' after about 3 mins, and said it was giving her a headache. Maybe consider a different career other than sales and cosmetics. I did her a favour and did not give her any business on a $90 bottle of Dior. -The cashier was slightly patronizing

I have been using this pharmacy for 15 years and the last 2 times I visited I was absolutely disgusted with the service. The pharmacist was incredibly rude, unhelpful and just plain mean. Rolling her eyes at me. I had an appointment and was ignored by multiple staff while I was sat waiting then when I asked about my appointment, I was met with another eye roll and what do you want. I will now be taking my future business elsewhere. And will be passing my experience to friends and family.

Never got any help the entire time in the store. Myself and 2 other customers were waiting to pay, and there were no cashiers at any of the registers. We had to go into the store to look for a cashier, who was just leaning on the counter talking to the Cosmetics girl. When we asked for help, all she said was I'll be right there. They then closed the doors to go back into the mall because of no cashiers, even though the cosmetic girl was 20 feet direct eye line to the door

I just shopped in the beauty department of this store and I was fortunate to be assisted by sales associate Bailey for my concern. Bailey answered my questions, provided me with the products I needed and explained how they worked and how to apply them. This was a fantastic experience. Bailey was knowledgeable, patient and very kind. I would strongly encourage anyone to attend this particular shoppers for quick professional service for their health & beauty care concerns.

I was there at this shoppers to buy neutrogena cream.It was placed by them at wrong spot with 14.99$ and i told her i took it from there.i showed her the place and she changed all creams to 21.99$ price tag .i told her to match the price and she being so rude telling me i am not gonna give it to you in that price though its their fault to put it in wrong place .she was cashier supervisor name michelle .worst lady ever to handle cashier.

Shoppers Drug Mart at the Cataraqui Centre is great store. The move to a bigger space was an excellent move! Stock is laid out well. The pricing on grocery item stock, is generally high, but the sale prices knock them back into the reality zone. The points program is a bonus. The senior"s discount on Thursdays, is a great idea, although keep in mind, that the discount only applies to regularly priced items.

Every time I’ve come to this location I’ve had horrific experience with the associates and pharmacy staff. I was accused of lying about my benefits and it was extremely embarrassing and upsetting. Start training your staff on how to treat customers, I will not be back to this location. If this wasn’t a chain location, you would not be open. Nobody would support you. You’re only open because it’s Shoppers.

This store is a headache to negotiate with the store divided into 2 sections. The selection of food items is very limited or nonexistant making it inconvenient if I have to go somewhere else to get what I need. It would seem that 3/4 of the store is cosmetics, perfume and beauty products. I asked an employee why they didn't carry more food items and she said it was because it was a mall store - hmmm?

Shoppers stores are usually quite well run. Friendly, caring, clean and comfortable. Some of the larger and newly renovated or opened stores have a tendency to be confusing in product placement only because of the so-called new and improved design. I find they are just designed to keep you lost in case you may happen to see something else when trying to find your way out. Lol

Terrible services. Third time I am sending registered letter from BC to Kingston address, covered by this brunch. By tracking I see, that the letter came to the post office, but the receiver is not getting any notice, and forced to come and show the tracking number, that I sent to him.

Im frequently in Shoppers at the Catarqui center as I work in the mall. The customer service is excellent every single time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Great selection and you'll always find something on sale.

I have been dealing with this Pharmacy for many years now and have No complaints. The 'personal' touch is incredible! Always made to feel welcome and given excellent service. I hope to be able to deal with this location for many years to come.

Terrible. If I could give zero stars I would. Called and was told my prescription, as faxed by my doctor in the last 30 min, would be ready in 30-40 min. Get there and they have no script in my name. Had I been given the correct information

I like shoppers but this is the worst organized Shoppers Drug Mart I've seen it's hard to find everything they charge for bags can't even read the overhead signs because of the way the aisles are set up.

Absolutely horrible customer service today! Maybe the cashiers should work more on greeting paying customers instead of completely ignoring them! Will not shop at shoppers anymore. Beyond disappointed

The pharmacy team ALWAYS goes above and beyond to help the patients. I know that for a fact given the no. of times the staff has gone an extra mile to help me out even when I did not ask them to.

This team has been nothing but fabulous for myself and my family for 15+ years. They have caught at least 3 physician errors in the past and are very knowledgeable.

The staff at this location are outstanding and so is the pharmacy ,always helpful and professional. They go way beyond the call of duty. Always a pleasur
