Your stuff is not secure in this place!!!!!! Our stuff was stolen. There was theft in April 2022, and a bunch of units were raided and they didn't inform until I visited a couple of months later, my mattress and other goods were stolen, and their insurance never paid out. They didn't have enough security guards or staff to monitor the space. No cameras inside the building when you come out of the lift. Anyone could go in, book a unit and rob other units (including yours!!!!). We paid for insurance monthly, for over two years, and when it came to dealing with it, they didn't care, and neither did their insurance company, who made us supply all the evidence, which we did, and then went silent for over 2 months. And it's utterly unacceptable way to treat paying customers with silence and ignorance when we're waiting and expecting for it to be dealt with professionally. Either you don't pay for the insurance, or you don't go with Shurgard. I wouldn't do either - lost trust in the brand. We're not coming back. Disgusting.

It has been my first time hiring a storage unit and I found Shurgard to be a really good one. I took advantage of an offer to hire the unit for 1 pound for the first month. I still had to pay for some other concepts that raised the price to around 45 pounds, but even with that it was much cheaper than the other companies I had checked. After that first month, there was a 50% discount for another 2 months, so still cheaper than the rest. They had a huge amount of units, offering a wide variety of dimensions. I hired a 130 sq feet unit and since it was quite high, it accomodated all my furniture and stuff from a three bedroom house with no problem. You could use their parking slots and trolleys for free and all their corridors were quite wide, which made it a piece of cake to unload your stuff, transport it to the unit and unload it there. Another really good thing was that you only needed to be at office hours to hire the unit, but once you hired it, you could access the place using a code from 6.00am to 11.00pm.

I would never use Shurgard storage, I called up to get a price as I was in the process of selling my property and I was waiting on my completion date, I told the man at Shurgard that my property isn’t ready and that I’d contact them as soon as I know the date, he then went on and I felt pressured to sign up and Insisted I payed an up front fee! My situation then changed and I haven’t needed Shurgard services and I’ve now been waiting for my refund for months!!!! I’m constantly being told that it will be in my account and accounts is dealing with it! It is absolutely terrible that I have to chase my refund and to be constantly fobbed off! I have my own business and would never treat anyone like this especially when it’s the customers money and have every right for it back. I still have not received my money back. So to anyone looking for storage don’t pay anything up front until you know what your situation is and you won’t get it back!

Shurgard Greenwich offering the best storage options in London. I am a long-term customer, probably my first rental was in Nov 2020 and since then, I have upgraded/downgraded based on needs. For the past year I am using a 200 sq ft unit for my clients storage and a 65 sq ft for my own personal storage (active since March 2020). Zara, Pascale and Adam have always been there for me to assist with any requests that I had and nothing was impossible for them. Truly professional team and can't recommend them enough. I am an Estate Agent and property manager and looking after my clients stored items while their properties are tenanted and never had any incidents or issues with the units I am occupying all these years. Friday, the 13th, and everything went wrong in another storage. Couldn't contact the staff at Greenwich, Rianna (from another storage) answered my call and was extremely rude and nasty, with no manners at all, raising her voice to me after realising that all the service was chaotic. I gave my notice but couldn't pick up my stuff due to illness, and informed the storage about the new date to pick up my things. I realised that I received a very small amount as a refund. They ignored my second notice and kept the money in their pockets.

I have dealt with many storage facilities in my time... with vastly varying levels of satisfaction. What a pleasure it has been dealing with Shurgard Greenwich.... especially the service received from BENIL. She definitely went beyond just going through the motions and her helpful nature, knowledge and expertise combined with her welcoming personality made the process of getting a storage unit smooth and hassle free. She is an undeniable asset for Shurgard... An easy 5 star rating.... Keep up the good work!!

First of all have to say I liked the virtual tour option as it meant I could see everything I needed to know before I went. Good idea. The building itself was easy to find, the parking bay was easy to use. All the staff are friendly and helpful The building has disabled access and large lifts, making it accessible to all and great if you are trying to store large pieces of furniture. Although access isn't 24 hour it is from 6am to 11pm so pretty good Would definitely recommend.

It's great to see that I can look at photos of the storage rooms and the virtual tour around the building before I go in person. It's great that the rooms are labeled by their size too so I can narrow it down even if I still need to look at 2 or 3 in person. Certainly makes it easier to figure out how much room I need for all my stuff! It's great that the building is wheelchair friendly both for access into the ground floor and the lift to the different floors of the building.

Clean, well located and reasonably priced. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Weekend rush can be slightly challenging (and staff not as proactive in managing trolley capacity etc. as would be ideal). I would have probably erred towards a 5* in spite of that, but there have been fairly consistent issues with the security gate not working in the last month or so. I suspect that'll be fixed in due course, and it can be worked around, but it's rather unhelpful.

3/9/22 Quick and thorough check in process with Adam who managed very well despite us being quite confused with signing/ID checks as my mother booked the storage on my behalf. He was very calm, welcoming and guided us through the process, adding me to the system for access as well. Thorough showing around the facility and explaining access times, lift access and location of storage bay. Excellent service and especially for managing alone in the office, thank you.

I went to Shurgard Greenwich as they have competitive pricing. I had booked over the phone, but when I got there I changed my mind on the storage space size. I was pleasantly surprised by the very helpful and welcoming experience with staff. Ms Benil, who was assisting me, spent the extra time with me to change my contract to a different unit size, consult me on what might be good alternative options, and overall was very accommodating and patient. Thank you!

This was my first experience of storage rental so I was a little unsure of what to expect. It was a straightforward and seamless process all made possible by the excellent customer service of Sofia. She would be an asset to any company so Greenwich got lucky!. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease from biggining to end. I don't usually give full stars as there is always room for improvement but in this case I'd give 10 if it were possible!.

I went down to Shurgard today to put my bike into a storage space we took out yesterday. First I couldn't work the lift, then left my key at the entrance then couldn't work the lock. It was like an episode of Mr Bean but two Shurgard guys - Andrew and Ben - were just brilliant. Kind, calm, helpful and funny. Thanks to them, I'll know exactly what to do next time. So make this a ten star review because Andrew and Ben deserve five stars each.

Excellent customer service. From the moment I placed my query for a quote and to then talking it through. Fo was friendly and keen to ensure that I was getting the right space for my needs. He explained all the paperwork and what I was committing to before I signed and paid. The unit is in a great location too. Just a few mins off the A2. It's clean and managed well. Plenty of parking with easy access to the lifts.

I couldn’t of asked for anything better!!! The price for storage @ the Greenwich location was amazing, you wouldn’t find better nowhere. Also the staff are so accommodating and friendly, Beril (assistant store manager) has made my Christmas card list as she was so willing and able to sort all my fussy queries followed by Stella who always has a big smile such a great team would recommend to every and anyone!

Very happy with the service. Liam was super helpful from our very first conversation today at around 15:00. I booked a 17:00 appointment for an introduction. Liam took me around for what was meant to be only a site inspection. However, by 17:30 I secured my 50sqft space. Liam gave a very good first impression and was super easy to speak to. I visited with a friend who said this place is amazing. She did an online tour so she could work out roughly where she was going to be placed and how large the rooms would be. We found it easily, because, quite frankly you can't miss it ! All the staff were super friendly and it was just so easy. Lifts were massive and access is suitable for everyone too.

It's almost two weeks of using the storage, stress free! It's easily accessible for me, clean and convenient. The staff are also extremely helpful. I couldn't figure out the size that needed but the booking staff took me through patiently on the phone. On getting to Greenwich storage the staff there too were so accommodating and very pleasant.Thank you.

Plenty of great things to say here! Really liked being able to look around it 'virtually' to decide on the best sized storage area, can see this being the future to save travelling before deciding what you need. Great access to get in and move around with the lifts and always a bonus seeing such an effort made on a place being wheelchair accessible!

The staff were flexible when I had to come at the last hour of the day and had all my items (lock, keys, contract, etc) ready for me to fill sign and lovely Pascal did a great job showing me around the building and my storage. The whole team was very warm and welcoming. All paperwork was done at my pace and Stella explained security and monetary questions I had to ask confidently and without hesitation. Very happy to have chosen Shurgard again and even though it's a different location am still receiving excellent customer support and incredible service.

Adam and Pascal are really helpful. Rented a room for a few months while I was moving house. Accessibility is great. Punching in a 10 digit code to open the entrances and lifts is really annoying but this is made wayyyy simpler by downloading the Shurgard app and using that to unlock the entrances and lifts instead!

Erienne was fantastic, hung around a little later to ensure we could sort a move in tight timescales, kept in touch by phone to check everything was on schedule, and was generally extremely helpful. Highly recommend, ask conveniently located, and the most affordable of the bunch as far as I could tell for my needs.

Used this for 4 months to store almost full 1 bed room furniture of my friend while awaiting handover for his house. Very convenient to use, access anytime to store more or pick up any item as you need. They also run offers, so we were able to get one month free. They also sell boxes for storage if you need.

We rented a unit for the first time with Shurgard Greenwich and we were not sure what to expect. But we have to say it was pretty impressive and we had an amazing experience. When i came into the store i was greeted with a big smile from the store manager Zara. She had great customer service and was very helpful in answering questions we had. She showed us around the complex and the options they offered. We are looking forward to signing up with them in the future.

It says they sell boxes and they are open until 11pm. I came two days in a row, first day at 6.30pm and they were already closed. Second day I was told they don’t sell any boxes in store even though there is a giant sign on the front saying they sell boxes…

I signed a direct debit form for renting a storage unit for two months. However, the direct debit has never been set-up by one of the employees. Hence, I had to pay a late payment fine which is not acceptable since it wasn't my mistake.

Even at full price they are cheaper than the company with yellow in the name. They give you access upto 11pm without charging extra. They charge monthly and not 4 weekly which makes budgeting easier.
