Drawn in by their competitive rates, I thought I'd hit a bargain with Shurgard compared to other competitors. How wrong I was. The perimeter fence is practically an open invitation for any thief with an angle grinder. Seems like the place is getting broken into every week. Multiple possessions of mine have been damaged. No one should be constantly on edge about the security of their items, especially when you're forking out for a service meant to provide peace of mind. I strongly advise anyone considering Shurgard to look elsewhere. No savings can justify the potential loss and endless worry. Don't fall into the same trap I did. Shurgard need to ramp up their security at this site!!!

Juliet was exceptionally good. Her customer service is top notch, she welcomed me and erased my worries with a great smile, she showed concern about my raspy voice. I sincerely recommend her to be a customer service trainer. I’m a customer service expert in the aviation industry so I know when I see great service. Please give Juliet these 100 stars on my behalf. From the time we stepped into the store to ask about the storage options, Aaron was really helpful with excellent customer service that put our worries at ease. He was really attentive and took time to listen to our needs which helped in setting us up with the perfect storage option. The prices given to us were really good and he was able to explain in details how the total came about and why we will be getting with the services. Overall we are really happy with the service he gave us.

Visited one of the Woolwich stores to check out the size of the storing units. Was greeted by the Ashley Dantzie, who is the store manager there. He was absolutely brilliant and patient to show me around the different units to show me the differences in sizes etc. Lovely chat with a smile with the right attitude to provide great customer service. I was quite pleased with his patience as I requested him to show me the units again (on different floors).

First and foremost, they were friendly with a smile(a rarity these days). Secondly very professional.Then they were courteous and listened to our bespoke needs.Even though I changed my mind a few times regarding the size to the storages they were very patient and understanding-so the word helpful comes to my mind.Lastly,Shurgard is very lucky to have staff like these .A very pleasant first day experience.

Customer service was really good. Clear communication and understanding of what I needed and wanted. The booking and process was very straight forward and easy. As a first time user of a storage facility this was really an great experience. Only thing is I was just given a storage unit which was the wrong size I did explain exactly what I was storing and when I went to visit it was very small:

Phoned to change appointment time & spoke to Dee. Was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. Went into the office and Dee explained everything fully, making sure I understood the whole process. Came down on a Tuesday and was surprised to see only one person there working - Daniel. He was very attentive and helpful and made sure to assist in every way he could despite being alone. Really great customer experience because of him. So far have had no issues although they do definitely need more trolleys.

Dealt with Aaron today and he was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, helpful and professional! We went to see our storage space, to see if it was big enough. It wasn’t, but Aaron kindly helped us book a bigger unit. Was super happy with the service provided!
