Below 1 star should be given. Came in on 22/11/2023 to do a transfer within Australia to be told (after more than 45 mins wait) that I have to pay $35. The least you could do after making me wait that long is waive it. Then told, "You could do the transfer online." Honestly, what is the point of having people there if you're going to direct me online. Not to mention, the person advising me was having technical difficulties and was on the phone with IT. Meaning, you were going to assist with my transaction whilst having IT problems; putting my transaction, hard earned money and time at risk. Imagine if I proceeded and had to start all over again because of tellers IT issues. Very disgusted, disappointed and appalled by this branch. Will never do business with this branch again. This is why people don't do business with St George.

Let me just begin with the warm and friendly way I was greeted upon entering the St George bank at Carnes Hill. This is not my regular branch, however it was the most convenient location for us today as my husband needed to get to the bank from work before it closed. Afternoon traffic is a nightmare and our anxiety levels were high. If it wasn’t for Clara and Mara we certainly would not have gotten what we needed today. The service they both provided was exceptional. They treated us with kindness and nothing was a problem. They made us feel very comfortable. When it comes to people you can trust Clara and Mara you’ve won our vote!! Thank you

I visited this branch this morning with personal loan problems and was greeted by Marah who stayed with me the whole time and helped as best she could. Her customer service was amazing and will definitely be coming back to see her if I need to in the future. Renee also helped too and although it was quite busy being the day after a bank holiday they were so accomodating and didn’t rush me. Thank you ladies for helping me as I was quite stressed about the issue and needed it resolved asap which you did. And thank you Marah for being so kind and helpful. Lucy

Rohini Karan Branch Manager, when a customer makes an appointment and has to wait 1 1/2 hour to be told prior, the manager is in a 1 hour telephone conference and to be told you won't be available till 3:30pm what kinda review do you expect for this badly Manager branch? A then to be told yes we see you but to moved to a closed room. I also don't understand why this branch has Westpac logos, and you're not allowed to open up a Westpac account here. Just so I can leave St George, which is below standards for customer service.

I know banks get bad reviews across the board. But my personal experience with the team at Carnes Hill St George have always been great. I had to retrieve a forgotten account, which was less stressful than I thought it would of been. The process was quick and easy. Another time I required a witness to photocopies which needed to be verified, the staff once again was happy to help. The times I have visited have been great.

Asked to come in for ID validation. Friendly service however, there was a system error and I was requested to visit again. Failed once again and was firmly asked to go a third time. Too much hassle and I withdrew the application. St. George needs to keep up with the modern times in regards to ID validation and respect their customer's time, especially shift workers.

Under no circumstances, don't let LAUREN look after you. Worst experience ever, not friendly or professional at all. she claimed she has 20 yrs experience, yet she wasted my time and gave me wrong information. When I tried to explain my problem, she said " go try different branch ". I went to a different branch and got it sorted. No thanks to you Lauren.

Friday afternoon. The only day to do cash deposits after 4pm when I finish work. Only 2 bank tellers. One lady suggested that I deposit at the ATM for faster service. That answers all my questions. If you want good service at carnes hill please use a machine. Humans get paid to work, not machines.

This is the most badly managed bank. Telling customers you can only draw less than 5K. But you need to make a phone call 2 days prior, but then don't pick up their phones and don't have a direct phone number. What a complete joke. Rohini on a 2 hours zoom with her bosses, yeah right

5 stars to anita legend knows how to get things done cant say much about the pathetic service and attitude i recieved from tyhe rest of the bank anita is a breath of fresh air and a asset to st george she goes out of her way to help and get things sorted thank you very much

No teller services on weekends makes this branch less and less relevant in todays's world. I can netbank or use my app any time of the day, I only need branch for teller services and its now not available when I need it. Pathetic.

Worst customer serviced and rude staff. Dont waste your time to come this branch.Staff cant resolve their mistake problem and make you wait for long time

How much was Vitou paid to leave a positive review of the St George Bank. I have never heard of anyone ever giving a genuine positive review to a bank.

They should add a ATM outside like every other bank company in Carnes Hill Market Place. But good customer service.

Customer service on Saturday is the worst , I think I made a big mistake switching over to st George , carnes hill
