I may have left my atm card in the machine last night. I called St George’s central number who were immensely helpful and placed a temporary hold o. The card as well as giving me a direct number to the branch. I have ring 3 times today to check. It goes to voice mail, claiming to be eager to hear their customers concerns and telling you to leave a message. 3 messages over seven hours later I’ve got nothing! Clearly no one is checking voice mail. I rang the 130000 number and again a lovely person said she’d send a direct email to them to ring me back URGENTLY. 90 minutes later with the branch closing in 15 minutes NOTHING! Appalling service. It’s my card. I just need a yes or no. If I could give no stars I would

Worst customer service in the world!!! I just went to this branch to do ID verification for mortgage refinance and I was advised I only need my driver licence for that. The banks apexialist wasnot interested to do the Job as it was 30 min before she finishes for the day!!!I was advised with her that I need another ID and I need to book again and she also advised I need to print consent form out of the bank as She cannot print on the bank. When I called bank I was advised that ID verification inly needs 1 ID. Then I wasted 3 hours of my time on St George Castle hill to do nothing only because the banker didn't want to the job or didn't have enough training to do do job!!!

Attended the bank to do a simple transaction. Lady at the front desk said she would help, then handed me off to a short asian lady in a back office. She tried to advice me on a product that was inferior to the one I already had and almost started arguing with me when I told her to check what rates I was already getting. Very pushy and terrible financial advice offered without even reviewing my accounts. If they treat older or less suspecting customers like this, its criminal. Looks like nothing has changed since the banking royal commission. As a longtime customer I'm very disappointed and that staff member needs to be spoken to by management.

Needed assistance with my personal loan due to relationship break down and financial hardship The lady who didn't even introduced herself was very rude and cold. she rejected me and said as your employment is still current we can not assess you as financial hardship!!! I said but financial hardship can happen for many reasons not just losing job. I explained my situation but she interrupted me by saying again "but your employment is still current" I have been St George's loyal customer for more than 20 years and now when I need help they simply rejected me and didn't even care about me.

Stay well away from this branch unless you want to watch all the staff in the world walk around and do everything but help you. Incompetent. Changed my name had to get a new bank card no worries cool it'll be sent to me..... rocks up with my old name. Go to the branch to rectify the problem they caused only to be left waiting 45 mins to 1 hr until someone saw to me. Staff walking around doing nothing and chatting to one another. Useless. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never go to this site. Basically they can do nothing. I have other lender help me, but this site what they told me is just asking me to call the head office, and they are not nice as well, don't wanna to help me at all, so go to other site when you need st george, and don't go to this site. Actually the staff of this site should really be fired.

Worst experience with the home loan woman. She gave the worst deal available from St George. When checked with other branch, they offered much better deal without me asking at all. That woman was rude, unhelpful and condescending when confronted. Refinanced to other bank soon after.

Received great assistance and help from Mr Bokalawela when opening an account for my daughter. It's rare in these times to be able to say something positive about a bank, but Mr. Bokalawela was extremely helpful and of a great assistance to us. Gary and Liv Smith

Terrible customer service. The desk lady couldn't do her job and she made us wait for the manager for a simple job around an hour and half. At the end the manager didn't help as well. We came to Merrylands branch and they fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes!

Walked in just as the only lender there went for her lunch break which happens, that I understand. Telling me she won't be back for 90 mins seems excessive. Finally got to see her and wow was she rude. I ended up walking across and taking my business to NAB.

Went for ID review for my in-laws at 4:15 PM and was asked to rerun back the following day.I request St George to update the branch timings, if staff can’t provide the service for customers showing up at their branch 45 mins before closing time.

Rude customer service reps (Thursday afternoons). No eye contact when they when they are serving me and a lot of annoyed sighing. Unhelpful and redirected me to the wrong place - gave me wrong number to call.

Staff at the reception desk was extremely rude. The worst customer service I’ve ever experience. This staff is serious damaging the bank’s image and reputation. As a customer, i am really disappointed

The young lady on duty last Saturday morning was most helpful in solving some credit card issues for me, saving me another later trip.
