Have been coming to this branch for many years, the lady we see for all of our loans etc has always been amazing and gone above and beyond to help us with what we need. Today the deposit function on the machines was down, which I wanted to remove a start for but I just couldn't based on the service we received. Firstly we were advised to go over to the Westpac branch to use their machines as they were waiting on a tech to come and fix theirs. Unfortunately, the Westpac branch (although their ATM states it does) does not accept cheques. When we went back to St George to ask for further advise the gentleman who helped us walked all the way over to Westpac with us (which is on the other side of the centre) just to ensure we weren't just unsure how to navigate and help us where he could. You won't always get the perfect result that you want but the staff are doing everything they can with what they are given. Credit where credit is due.

New St George customer and batting with St George for over 30 days to get a debit card. The Mcarthur held onto my card for nearly a week with no attempted to contact me. St George customer service was telling me to report it as lost/stolen because if the branch had it, i would have been notified. It took me calling around to other branches to try and find my debit card because no one could tell me where it was. The Narellan Westpac Branch ended up helping me by calling around to try and track it down Picked it up on 13 May, asked the in branch representative what happened and was told my card arrived at the start of the week but they had been to busy to do anything, no apology.

They really rely on everyone using the machines. On a Saturday they don't have tellers working. Instead they have people standing around holding phones and helping people use the ATM's or their phones. If they want people using the ATM's more maybe they should have more so that there aren't long lines. Also be wary if you do any banking on Sundays or out of trading hours because no one will help you. If your card or money is stuck you have to hope that no one takes it the next day. When you call customer service don't expect anyone to pick up (out of trading hours) because no one will help you. All you'll hear is the privacy statement. I am now considering changing banks.

DISGUSTING ! Went in to change my name back to my Maiden name. I was given incorrect information. I was told I had to go and change my License before changing my name with the bank despite having provided a birth and marriage certificate. All my other banks accepted this ID and changed my name without issue. I returned and asked to speak to the manager Carlos to discuss the run around. This manager was the rudest employee I have ever encountered. How this man ever became a manager baffles me. I will be closing my account with St george.

I was waiting for at least 20 minutes for the worker she let the people behind me go first after that she asked me if I wanted to use the machine and I said no I don’t like it cause I have bad experience with it so she went around and helped everyone else but me then eventually she helped me it took her 30 seconds to deposit my cheque she should of done that in the first place this is the first time I have bad experience with st George

Terrible customer service I came today to withdraw money trusting them and they didn’t counted properly missing money from my withdrawal.i went back to complain and it appears the lady’s out there were hiding the money missing . never again coming back . Freud!

Coin deposit ATM not operating. Still waiting more than half hour after being told by customer service to stand in front of machine, customers building up, they will operate it again soon.?! Still waiting with others waiting for coin ATM?!

Today is the third time I have not been able to take money out at the Macarthur branch. excuse system is down. About time you fix it. I am looking at other banks.I feel they are trying to force people to use ATMs. It is a conspiracy.

they literally stole my money i put 150 and they gave me 25 back but only put 110 in my account meaning they had to give me extra 20 dollars biggest scam ever such dumb people
