Truly a waste of time. But this branch is no different to any other. Friendly staff, but what is the point of 3 staff chatting around reception with customers queueing and 1 (maybe 2) consultants. It feels like there is a huge push to self service banking. Yet we pay very high fees and poor in bank service. Where does the money go?
Good for all banking and insurance needs. Friendly and efficient staff. I don’t like it when there’s a cash jammed with no receipts then you lost all your money, rather go inside if it’s a big cash withdrawal. They have to wait till the end of the day to count and you’re never guaranteed to get it back!

I went in with my father who is 86 and needed to get a new credit card. The staff were wonderful and friendly. They managed customers coming into the branch in an efficient way and I left feeling like they had managed well within the bureaucracy of a big four bank.

Understaffed and poorly run. The staff are friendly but customers are queuing and waiting forever to be assisted. Very poorly run. I would recommend going to another branch, even if it's 40min away as you'll actually spend more time queuing at this branch.
My elderly sister (77) spent 45 minutes in the bank waiting to see a consultant regarding her bank card, one person in front of her and 45 minutes later still no acknowledgement to her presence, its a no wonder i do not bank with this useless lot!!!!!!!!!
Not even worth one star, waiting times are abysmal and shouldn't be acceptable to Standard Bank never mind the long suffering customers, staff are efficient and friendly but clearly have too much on their plates, horrible experience, avoid at all costs
I simply wanted to know if the bank is open for business (if one can make business transactions) during LOAD SHEDDING, and whether or not the ATM works during load sheddin. I tried the website, but no mention of it and no "contact us"
Really slow, got there before they opened to do a change of address. Took 45min to be seen to as there was only two people working one on teller and one at enquires. lady who did help me was friendly and help full but it is clear that the

I want to so badly give this bank minus 500 stars they have no regard for customer service they are unhelpful and rude. Speaking condescending to their customers like we are dogs I have been a standard bank customer for years. My advice
For a business who makes R4.5billion profit this is a disgraceful corporation. Good staff but this is proof the corporations put profit above its customers. Closing branches and directing us online with the same shocking charges.
Had a good experience. Wait was a bit long, but that's to be expected. I had a complicated issue to deal with and Veronique was kind and and patient with me as she helped me resolve my problems.

I took my old and frail mother to Standard Bank (Longbeach Mall), for suspected fraudulent activity on the account. Well WOW what an unwelcoming reception and service from the bank.
Service delivery not a priority for the staff at this branch. Maybe this branch is the best example for the worst service delivery to customers. 0 stars
No bulk teller No customer service an altogether miserable experience .thank gos I no longer bank here and I pity the poor people who still do
Ridiculous...waited an hour to collect a card. Surely small transactions should be managed by different people...other than consultants
The waiting in line is way too long. More than an hour just to change contact info. Not cool. Why are so many branches closing?
Held for 10 minutes 4 times in a row and they still wont answer then when they did they couldn't answer the question
Waiting times are shocking compared to other branches and there were only 2 people ahead of me with a wait of 1 hour
