I see some negative reviews and I totally disagree. For any new comers, you should try for yourself before you judge. Starbox Langwarrin has been in business for over 10 years. It is an authentic malaysian chinese takeway shop, a hidden gem in the south eastern suburbs. Each order is made to cook with the freshest ingredients. The food is not too salty or greasy like other takeout restaurants I've been to. The flavours are authentic and alot of pride and passion goes into each dish. It is a small family run business, so it can be busy during peak hour dinner time, the friendly staff do provide ETA before you order. I always call up first if I'm in a rush. It is also a bonus because it is right next to Woolies with parking, so I do my shopping and collect my dinner afterwards. #supportlocalfamilybusiness

Went to this establishment tonight 3/9/2021 and was told my meal would be ready by 7pm. Yes it was busy and I understand that, I ordered at 6:15pm. I was greeted by a young girl behind the counter and she added up my bill and told me my total. I paid by card, wasn't until about 5mins later the lady owner came over and started having a go at the young girl then told me she undercharged me $3 and I must pay before I got my food. She was raising her voice at me and told me I had to pay or no food. I paid the $3.00 and got my food at 7:30pm with half sitting in the bin marie for over half an hour. I will not be spending anymore money at this place. Very rude owners and only thinking of their own pockets and not treating their staff with the respect they are owed. Very disappointed

Absolutely disgusting food Cannot believe we tried them again thinking maybe they had changed but in fact only got worse. Steak and Black Bean was the worst I have ever tasted and the lemon chicken not far behind. The fried rice was also disgusting if you can even call it fried rice. My husband who eats anything said it was absolutely appalling. All that money and was inedible. Never again.

Memories.....omg! Sweet & Sour pork is just what I remember. The pork has been sliced into small, edible sizes & oh, so tender ..even loved the other crispy bits. The Star Box fried rice is something special love the fact that the chef/owners cook the meals that are authentic even though they are matuing I hope there is someone that will take on their skills.

We used to live in Langwarrin, decided to drive back to the Star Box for some dinner. The lemon chicken was good, their lemon sauce is the best. Their fried rice was absolutely delicious, plenty of delicious ingredients including chicken. The meal sizes are generous, this is one of our favourite food places.

I have always bought my families dinner at this restaurant but I am finding that buying Singapore noodles to be a joke. There is only 1 fork full of noodles & the container is only 3/4 full or should I say empty. No eftpos is making it too difficult to stay loyal. I unfortunately have moved on. Thank you for all of your kind service & great food in the past.

Our favourite - especially the lunch specials - only $7.50! Starbox Noodles is a fantastic place to get your food! If you wanna have a chill night at home and wanna pick up some food, go here. Honestly, when I am feeling like some takeaway the first place that comes to mind is Starbox Noodles!

Both the lady working the front and the chef were super helpful with our dietary requirements. The curry puffs are divine and the noodles are great! definitely a little gem of a place that puts care into what they do.

Owners are rude to staff and have no respect. A new young person working there every week and clearly the owners are the problem. Disgraceful and borderline abuse at times. Don't support the pigs.

Waited 10 minutes for the wrong order. Order sweet chilli noodles, ended up with a poor excuse of a curry noodle dish with pork and prawns. Pork was dry and noodles hadn't been tossed properly.

We ordered here last night and the food was disgusting. The chicken tastes funny and was so tough and boney. My partners satay was like water it was so gross I wouldn’t come back here again.

The Star box Special had two king prawns in the whole meal and the Teriyaki Chicken was 98% noodle... the Nasi Goreng and the steamed dim sims were good...a star each. Very disappointed.

Had the best asian food ive had especially around Langy, staff was awesome especially the young Allycia served us so well, i would recommend this place in a heart beat
