We rented a storage unit here and when we rented it the guy promised we could send pallets there and they have the facility to position the pallet in our unit I explained we were a furniture company with large boxes and they said it was fine. After a few weeks we sent a pallet and the guy called us saying they cannot accept it and it's simply too large for them! However, I do not remember them saying anything about size limitations when we enquired about the rent. From my original conversation i was under the impression i was renting one of the larger spaces with easier access. Now they refused to accept out delivery there and we have to pay a lot extra to have the items redelivered to another address! It seems understandably that they cannot carry heavy boxes however at no stage was it made clear to us that there was a hall way leading into the unit and that the hall way into the unit was narrow. I received a long winded email explaining how they were the wrong facility for our business. The manager here sent me a photo of the trolley and access from the loading dock. They are not really geared to accept any large boxes. If you wish for them to receive deliveries for you i would suggest that your boxes are on the smaller and lighter side of things and somewhat small.

So disappointed, we purchased an extra storage cage to do a big move yesterday and the place was closed after 12. It clearly stated that it was open on their google page. We don’t have much time at all to do this move and yesterday was the day. We postponed other things we had to do to get this done and now it is going to cost us more money and time. Can some please contact us asap.

Only needed to store for three weeks while painting the house. These guys gave the most amazing service ever. They arranged inexpensive and reliable removalists,all my packing materials,and really looked after me with the price of storing. All this plus friendly personal service,and someone on site every day. I absolutely recommend Storage King at Oakleigh.

Great people great service... When they are open! Probably not the storage service you want if you are a full-time worker. For example It's frustrating to be unable to get to your storage cage when the facility closes at 5.30 weekdays and they close over the entire Easter break (and not just the official public holiday days).
