The manager was in the back of the store for at least 5 minutes before walking out wherecustomers had been waiting and trying to get her attention by rattling the tip jar banging on the counter and saying hello before she emerged from hiding and leaving the restaurant unattended and then she claiming she couldn’t hear me after she just served customers and had a whole conversation in Spanish giving attitude and proceeded to squirt a half an ounce of sweet onion sauce on a 6 inch sandwich after pretending she didn’t hear me and accepted a $50 bill without checking to see if it was counterfeit or not. Proceeded to refuse to give me the number to corporate or a receipt identifying as the store manager with great hostility after she had an attitude because I ordered a sandwich. She was a Hispanic woman and had no problem assisting the customer ahead of me who just so happened to be Hispanic and showed great customer service until it was my turn and never checked the woman’s bills but couldn’t give the same respect and started touching the register to ring up cookies and refused to wash her hands and said she didn’t touch the register yet she just rang 6 cookies up and tried to touch my sandwich and had the audacity to not wash her hands after handling the register and cross contaminating my sandwich and all other vegetables she touched deeming it a health and safety violation per Osha and food sanitary requirements of California in which I will be contacting the food and safety administration as well as Osha and any other government regulators that oversee this facility for multiple health issues which may affect the public because of food poisoning concerns I now have due to the management not washing her hands. It always looks unsanitary and the manager was on camera in which I plan on filling a discriminatory civil suit against her for discrimination. Unacceptable

I always like Subway as the food there is guite healthy. The Subway at the City College Trolley Stop serves both the Blue and Orange lines and many centrally located bus stops.The staff there is always very friendly - a Subway trademark - and the food is fresh! I like the daily menu specials (My favourite is the Thursday, Italian Sub.).The service is usually fast, friendly and the hand prepared subs are awesome: I like to watch my order as it is prepared in front of me as I wait. A bag of chips and a large drink - the lg.is the best deal - complement the meal. The steak sub.specials or other specials - as advertised, are often a very good deal too. Sometimes they could wipe down the tables however, I blame such only on a few inconsiderate people - often the "new millennial android generation"... The same young people who don't know what the word,"handicapped" means, whether it be in English or Spanish; especially on the Trolley or busses; the latter is just a noted comment and doesn't affect my opinion of Subway.

The manager at this location is Very rude. I ordered 3 sandwiches and some drinks and chips. I handed the cashier $100 bill. He said he can't take $100 dollar bills without the managers key. He got the manager, who unlocked the drawer. Then the manager told the cashier they didn't have to accept $100 bills. They whispered a little. Then the manager asked me if I had change that I could use to pay. I pulled out all my ones and quarters and I didn't quite have enough. He said it's his policy to not accept $100 dollar bills. I said I guess I can't buy all the food then. He said ok and tossed the sandwiches in the trash behind him and left.

I live a few blocks from this location, usually grab a sandwich here every 3-4 weeks. Either the ownership here is awful and treats its workers poorly, or the staff itself is awful, it's hard to tell. Context: Two different visits, different times of day, same employee. I walk in, and the employee tells me they're the only one working, and that they're on break. - How/why is there only one worker on duty? - Why are the doors open if the one worker is on break? - How the heck is this happening more than once?

I got a foot long and a soda it was 17 dollars,the lady that was making my sandwich over baked it till it was burnt,they only gave me 2 napkins and i asked if i can have more the same lady gave me 2 more napkins and i asked her if they were giving out 2 napkins per sandwich and she said i already gave you 4 with an attitude saying how everything is expensive and she has too count napkins she gives out,never been to a subway were they treat you like that.

Whoever trained your employees to only give "1" napkin per sandwich needs to be FIRED. Even if that is the trend in the fast food business, at some point common sense has to kick in. There is absolutely no way possible to eat a messy sandwich and only use "1" napkin. And then the staff there has the nerve to have an attitude about not giving more napkins when a customer asks. They cite the manager told them to do this. That manager should not be in that position. And if that is a corporate suggestion, that needs to be shot down company wide.

Holy mother of cross contamination. My veggie patty was dropped into the tub of bacon, picked up and slapped onto my sandwich. I had 2 people working on my sandwich and not once did they change gloves after working on others. Took them about 10 minutes to make it because they didn't know what they were doing. Got home and my sandwich had fallen out of the paper wrapper because they didn't fold it correctly. There's a Subway closer to my house, I'll definitely be going there from now on.

Bought meals here and asked to used the restroom, the female employee told me yes and to hold on, then a male employee came and said it's for employees only..I have end stage renal failure and I am barely able to use the restroom as it is and when I have to go I have to go and I would have never gave them business if I known they treat people who pay for their food here like that.

This Subway WILL try to overcharge you!! A kids turkey is 2.99 at EVERY Subway, anywhere. They tried to charge me for a full meal... $5.39! THEN... the 'non-customer service' ladies even had the audacity to tell me, if I don't like it, I could go somewhere else!!! So, I walked out... I strongly suggest you do too. They don't care... Only about the money they are collecting from you!!! Go anywhere else to eat!!

Seems my reputation precedes me. I went into this location this afternoon and ordered a foot long sweet onion chicken teriyaki on wheat. The green haired women helped me and oiled sauce on the bread...once toasted she piled more sauce on the meat and cheese for a total of $9.69. All this made the sandwich inedible. I was so mad that dumped the sandwich all over the entrance to the store and left.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki sub toasted with lettuce green peppers peppercinis and siracha and chicken teriyaki sauce the employee was fast courteous and made sandwich right

The cashier burned the bread and also when I asked for extra pickled and olives she didn’t want to add more because that’s all she can put on it, I told her to charge me extra but she refused to do it. Terrible service.

I enjoy coming to subway. Always clean and service is amazing. This is one of the few places that I don't see to many homelessness. I'm grateful that they do look up for their customers. Unfortunately like many big cities in our country. We now are facing this situations. Thank you for your service. Customer for the past 15 years.

Typical subway. Update: (4 to 2) today this was the sandwich I ordered. Soaked in butter because the woman who didn't listen to a word I said and just slathered the bread with a ton of that garlic sludge. Like 5 scoops. It took me multiple tries to get her attention to my sandwich the entire time she was making it.

This Subway Restaurant is at the City College Trolley stop. It is a very transited area and the trash that is left behind by the people is very visible and makes the place look trashy. Other than the wrappers and soft drink stains on the ground, the place inside is to quickly order and carry out to eat elsewhere.

I went in at 930 on a Friday night and the employee that was working told my they were closed. I said, "Your hours say you're open until ten." He said, "The manager told me to close early." I hope the owner sees this and realizes he's paying his employees to deny paying customers before posted closing hours.

Fast and friendly, wanted to say they were refreshingly service oriented and delicious sandwiches. Honestly, I would have given them a 5 star if Subway Restaurants' head of marketing had been honest and had fired Jared as soon as they knew that he was dirty instead of riding their advertising gravy train

Definitely the worst Subway location I've ever been to. The fat manager was on his phone as we entered this location and continued to text for several more minutes as I was waiting right in front of him. After he finished he then began making my sandwich, and went very light on everything I asked on it.

My experience was descent. Fast response, fast service, not crazy busy considering the location, and I enjoyed the service.

Never been to a subway that opens at 10am ...... when I went there at 10:05am Employee stated she was the only one on the clock and haven't prepped everything so limited menu was available...... horrible for a subway never go there again and I work around the corner from there what a shame

My friend and I were at subway's just a few hours ago.the two young ladies that made our subs were such a great team. They were fast, efficient and fun (polite). The subs tasted so good. That's three days in a row I have had one of their subs.

Mike worked alone and was polite, witty and composed under pressure. The Philly cheese steak was delicious.

Terribly over priced, I paid $2:15 for a medium drink which I could gotten for a dollar anywhere else. Had a very low variety of drinks to choose from and the sandwiches are small for the price your paying for. I do not recommend!!
