Or the $1.99 for a 5" Sandwich My meal combo was $17.00 foot long, Large drink and Sun Chips. Be careful of the crazy people who come in the store yelling and threatening the employees. With a weapon, because he was asked to use the napkin given outside to blow his nose, for respect of us other customers. Employees held their ground and we're like what ever, leave as they concentrate on the customers orders. Bravo to those ladies New Years Day! 2022! Eat in dining but the tables need to be wiped down more often. I still like the location and quality they give. They can't help the crazy people who say the f word to everyone. He clearly has his own issues. The coupons received in the mail, can still be used with EBT. Not all Subways take EBT. MONEY is MONEY, the manager said. Love that. Went into the one on C. Street&6th around 12:30pm. Line was very long(as to be expected), so they had a lot of people working behind the counter. This is usually a good thing...if done right. Their were 6 employees (cashier included) all cramed behind the counter each in charge of a different part of the sandwich. Everything was fine until one of them took my sub out of the toaster and it was pasted to the next person without communication. That person then mistook mine for the person in front of me and tried to put what he wanted on it. Luckily we were both paying attention and told him he was handling the wrong sub. This is where I got frustrated. The next employee skimped out on the vegetables and when I asked for ground pepper they proceeded to add salt...I was too hungry so I just left it at that. Got to the the next employee at the register and someone walked right in front of me to buy a cookie. The cashier saw it and didn't even blink twice at it just let him buy it. By this point, I had 30 minutes left to get back to the office so I just ignored it all, paid for my food, and left.

Went in to use a promotion gift card for a free 6inch and was told first that they didn't except it and since I ordered my six inches in the form of a footling sandwich she had to charge me as a footlong so the cash register wouldn't except the payment from the promo gift card when I scanned it. When I asked to be charged for two six inches she said I could leave she wasn't going to give me my sandwich. I said I do want it and I want to use the gift card that I earned from buying the promotion last month. She said because I ha e a footlong sandwich I couldn't use it. So I asked for supervisor and she says you have to talk to a ghost we don't have managers or supervisors. I'm not going to sell you the sandwich leave. It's times like this I wonder if I shouldn't just make my own food. Lol service has become a real experience.

Restaurant is clean, food is well prepared and fresh. Employees are friendly and efficient. My reason for only 4 stars is that they always seem to be out of something. Napkins, small cups for sauce on the side, medium drink cups, etc. It's usually not 2 things at a time, but it seems to be always *something*. My last trip, on 2 March 2018, they were out of sauce cups so when I asked for one of the sandwiches' sauces on the side she put them in 2 soup cups. That worked perfectly... BUT! Another employee came to the line midway through and didn't know it was just sauce and charged us for 2 soups. We didn't catch it until way later and it was totally an honest mistake, but being charged for 2 soups that we didn't order or receive is inconvenient and annoying. I haven't even gone back yet to fix the mistake 'cos it's out of my way and a hassle. ... But the sandwiches are always great!

This was honestly the BEST Subway experience of my entire life. Nathan, the gentleman who looked after me, was absolutely amazing. He recommended a sandwich for me (which was delicious), he went up to people in the dining area and checked to see how they were finding everything, cleaned the bathroom for a lady before she used it so she would be comfortable- just service above and beyond I have ever experienced at any Subway I have ever been to in my life! I’m not from San Diego and he recommend places for me to visit. Whatever this man is being paid, it needs to be exponentially increased because I will always compare every Subway from henceforth to the service I received tonight and can only hope they are an iota as friendly, attentive and helpful. I hope this location, and Subway, realizes what a great employee they have on their hands!

The server was rude and the way he talked to me made it clear he had a problem with me even tho i just asked a question. He didn't properly warm up the food (I ate straight after getting it and it was cold). Didn't explain what they have as options, i wouldn't need yo ask if there were labels on the product, (it doesn't count when you have things in the list they the location doesn't even have). I found ham in my chicken (which i found as i was eating it). The server also used the same knife on my sandwich that was used in a previous sandwich, it was covered in mayo. I personally hate mayo and its very unsanitary to reuse a knife like that. This is the by far the WORST experience i have had that specific location as i have visited it many times before.

Most things, like atmosphere, can't be helped, considering the location and some of the people in the area. I just have a big problem, when I order online, give SIMPLE instructions (cut it into 3 sections), and not followed. THEN when I say something....., excuses. I even asked if the halves could be cut. She said that...one I touched the wrapper.... WHICH I HAD NOT....I looked into the bag, and could SEE that it wasn't correct. She also said something to the order of... that's how it is done, at Subway. She also, in passing, ADMITTED that she "didn't see" the notes. Also, she said that the restaurant didn't carry plastic knives or forks. I value a Person's ability to work, especially at THAT store, but PLEASE.

I am pregnant shopping around the area so I asked everywhere if there is a restroom nearby they told me subway. I come here and they charge me 1.89 to pee. Seriously I am 8 months almost hitting my due date. They make me pay seeing I am about to pee myself. Even starbucks workers have more heart thn that. This is the first subway that has denied me the use of the bathroom without purchase. Pregnant or not pregnant. The lady look at me like I was crazy I payed because I couldn't walk elsewhere otherwise I'd pee on myself. I usually love subway it is my favorite place to eat at. But this one wasn't what I usually love about subway. Subway usually is fill with friendly happy workers. This lady was just plane rude.

I went into this Subway with an elderly friend there was 2 employees and a line of people and then one employee goes on a lunch and I was in line waiting to order of 45 minutes the girl finally comes back from her lunch and Iam finally to order my sub I ask for double meat on a foot long and she only put half of what a foot long double meat is supposed to be I say that’s not double meat she has attitude. I will never come back here again slow and rude employees. I usually only come to this Subway when Lizbeth is working. but my friend wanted to have a sub for lunch

The lady who made my sandwich put on so much mayonnaise and mustard but it leaked through the sandwich wrapping paper and all over the table. My bread was soggy and was falling apart as the mayonnaise and mustard was placed on the meat so we can slide around rather than on the bread. When I called to complain about my sandwich I was told to walk 3 miles back to them and return the sandwich so they could remake it rather call then just let me take a picture and provide me a credit for a free sandwich on another day. Furthermore the person who took my phone call was very rude disrespectful and hang up on me without coming to a resolution for my problem after challenging my husband to a fight.

Maria- worst service ever. She is not a good rep of Subway. I went with a friend to get some sandwiches. I ordered a 6 inch. When she cut my bread, it was way less than 6 inches. I asked her to use remaining bread and she hissed, sucked her teeth and ignored me. So I asked her again. She snatched the meat and threw my bread in the trash. I ordered online and put some instructions to cut my sandwiches into two and request for sauce on the side. When I pick it up, I asked her i requested sauce on the side, she said there is already sauce inside, i said on the side, she said can only do two for each which is fine no big deal I never had this problem, I ve been ordering there before and they always give me the sauce I requested, she was giving me an attitude and badmouthing me in spanish to a customer. I took an extra paper bag, because the bag she put is wet, and she asked me why and continue to give an attitude. I

I have gone to many subways but this one has by far exceeded my customer service expectations. Jennifer, Flor, and Reuben in particular.. The store was a bit busy however these 3 handled themselves in a very efficient way. My sandwich was made to my liking of course and was asked every time if I was pleased with the amount of veggies or if i would like more. Something not common you hear in most subways. Im not from California and I saw some mixed reviews and thought I would take a few pics to show this store was super clean. I reccomend this subway to everyone. Bread, Veggies, and cookies were all fresh yum!!! Thanks guys!!

We placed a curbside pickup order. The employees didn't come out to deliver at all. We had to leave the car on a busy street to get the food. They left out half of the order which we didn't realize until later (we were in a hurry due to where we were parked). When trying to call about a refund, or to pick up later the phone just rings and rings with a full mailbox. The employees are careless, and the food we did get was sloppily thrown together. First time in awhile since I have been to Subway and will be the last for this location if not indefinitely. I advise to avoid at all costs.

There’s a young kid that works there with blond hair really skinny with a bad attitude that really probably needs not to have this job. He was really rude with his response like attitude and disrespect I’m reporting him whatever his problem was it’s so not professional to take it out on me. I walked out he straight up made me feel so uncomfortable I left him filling up my cup of meat balls honestly this is such a bad location there’s homeless people sleeping inside the subway and it’s dirty I see how this kid handles his shift!

Worst experience ever. Lost five customers and didn’t engage the man applied there they didn’t hire him cause they had only one black man there that I never seen and I go quite often. They had serviced my friend and then she had food poisoning the next morning. I had use to work at subway so ik the correct portions when she had gave me 2 pieces of bacon for a foot long which it not the correct portions it’s 4 pieces she had then got an attitude and passed my sandwich off they are food and racist and I wouldn’t waste my money again

Very bad service today and I was looking forward to Subway too since I haven't eaten here in over a year. I simply asked the kid behind the counter if he would toast my sandwich since that's what the number mentioned and he was very hostile and rude in his response - I'm a female . He acted as if I was supposed to already know how he was making the sandwich , then I had to repeat myself 3 times for the other female worker for jalapeno and olive as if so difficult to put on a sandwich. Such a shame , I will not be returning anytime soon.

I was safe here. Thank you for keeping me safe! I was being followed by a creepy man for 6 blocks this morning, the nicest lady behind the counter understood my distress even though we had a language barrier, she had my back. She brought me into a safe space locked behind the counter and chased the scary man away. I hung out safe while I waited for an Uber. Thank you subway for allowing a me to be in safe space and letting your employees follow their own intuition. She was so kind while I cried and got myself together. Thank you!

It was enjoyable visit. I was taking my early morning walk and that morning the way I went took me pass a Subway that is open 24/7. That's good some nights I cant sleep and I end up at a convenient store buying junk food which isn't good for me because I'm pre diabetic. I went didn't have a clue what I wanted. The sandwich makers were very helpful and very pleasant. That was such an awesome day and Subway played a big part in that because it help start my day in health positive way.

My wife and I just ordered footlong turkey subs with double meat. Not only was there not double meat, but there wasn’t even a regular portion of meat. Literally, there were 4 slices of meat on the sandwich. That was a very expensive piece of bread. Not the first time that’s happened. DO NOT EVER go to this location!!!!!!

Went here once with a drunk wife after a night out, listening to live bands. The patience the worker had for my wife who was hungry and drunk and couldn't decide what she wanted was amazing (I am sure they get this all the time). It's Subway, so it smells of delicious fresh bread and have good sandwiches. Are they gourmet and have anything special about them? No. Are they delicious and make for a great meal in the middle of the night? YES!!!!

A definite step up from typical fast food, Subway© should appear on your list of Affordable Eateries For Those On A Budget. This particular franchise on 6th & C is the best one downtown - the night crew (especially Alexis) goes out of their way not only to find you the best deal, but to literally heap on whatever veggies & condiments you choose. A glowing 5-star rating without the slightest hesitation.

Ordered delivery, huge mistake. I should have chosen a different location even though this was closest. Had issues with both the delivery and the order, but could not reach the store because “the party you are trying to reach is not available.” Hopefully corporate can issue a refund because this store and app was no help.

I feel so bad for the working making our food because SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE MAKING THE FOOD. You should not be able to operate a business with only one person. She on a Saturday night had to operate the entire work environment by her self( something that should take at a minimum 2~3 PEOPLE). She tried her best but hire more people so orders don't take 30 mind.

Jeff is my true little damsel in distress. I love his little ponytail and his gorgeous fluttering eyelashes. He is that of an angel, something beyond this world, a deity. A sandwich making god, if you will. Every day, I imagine when I can see him again. He is my world, and so much more. I believe that when we all die, we will be greeted with Jeff from Subway.

This Subway is awesome. I placed my order in the morning for a early lunchtime pickup. Everything was perfect. They filled the order correctly and delivered it curbside. I will definitely use this as my main Subway from now on. This is the best customer service I have received in any Subway, and they are all usually quite good. So this is a bonus!!!

I waited over 40 minutes to get a lousy 1ft Sub! & Service was best it could be under the circumstances that the worker had been there all day long & it was almost closing time and she was ready to go!!

Was here recently one evening and had a Chicken Sandwich. It was outstanding! The gentleman named Carlos made my sandwich and did a great job. He was courteous, professional and polite. Carlos gave me some great recommendations as well. The store was spotless and so was the restroom. I will be back!

Staff is good franchise or corporate this subway. Is very generous with there meat , you can go to the local stoe and buy a sandwich with more meat a and cheese and pay less than going to subway and better quality if you want a sandwich go to firehouse subs that quality

Been here twice at around 10:30pm and the lady has a negative essence. Once there was a paper from the meat in our sandwich. Place is clean tho given the location. Corner to a trolley stop. I just dont want to lose my appetite with a bad experience at the restaurant.

They take EBT but the EBT reader is always broken. They have a restroom but it’s never open. They’re open late but they only have one person working after 5pm so expect to wait 30+ minutes. The staff is doing their best and Subway is not supporting them AT ALL.

Beyond slow service, the line was soooo long and staff had to continually look at the reference sheet to make the new items. Not a good option when trying to grab something quick.
