Looks like a small store from street level but actually quite large inside with huge range. Service is very good, staff checking with everyone if they need directions or assistance. Prices are good considering the location/convenience. They also provide a fashionable sturdy carry bag for carrying bulky items, so I am not fussed about purchasing items and carrying them on the train home. They have ramps and wheelchair accessible at the front but the store is in two levels and I don't see a lift to go down.

Mike went above and beyond to help me with something very specific I was trying to achieve. Suggesting alternative options and even walking me to a nearby hobby/craft store when I wasn’t familiar with it. I was blown away by his ‘want to solve’ customer service. I specifically went back just to buy the first option as his service was that great! Mike is an asset to Mitre 10 and should be recognised and acknowledged for his fantastic engagement and knowledgeable service.

Went in to buy a bicycle tyre pump and glue. Got the pump back to work to inflate my bike tyres and the pump attachment does not fit into the pump. Which I do not understand as the attachment is sold with the pump. No matter what my co workers or I did, the attachment does not fit the pump. I really hope the glue works. Not sure I will return to this store.

Everytime I go to this place I'm always impressed at how helpful and knowledgeable all staff is. Just tell anyone what you need and they'll point you in the right direction, and will also give you advice on what to buy (or not to buy). They offer a wide range of tools and hardware at a reasonable price, and the CBD location is really convenient.

I was very impressed with service and kindness extended to me by Ching Ching last Saturday When I rang after closing time to pick up some tape for a function being held nearby. I can only commend her service to the owners of the business many businesses talk about service this is proof positive of a great attitude to keeping the customer happy.

This is a gem in Sydney CBD where everything to do with hardware is hard to find. Search no more - this store has most things and if not their expert staff can tell you what to do. I have a nearby apartment my needs are simple. I appreciate this service so much and thank them for being there and being open Saturdays.

I went in to get a new globe for a light and to look for other items for the house. Immediately I was greeted and helped by an extremely helpful employee named Patrick, who explained where the best value is and how to best utilise the miscellaneous items I bought. There's quite a lot of stuff in this store. It's spread over 2 levels. The items that I looked at, batteries, smallish things looked to be a similar price to Bunnings. I will probably use this store for quick pickup stuff rather than waiting to get home and then having to drive 15 mins to my local Bunnings

Fantastic range in store. However there was no one to serve me with some spray paint today. Which is a shame as I like to support the smaller retailers. Of course the cabinet is locked for a reason. But nobody at the back of the shop. As I didn't have a lot of time to wait, I had to leave empty handed.

It's got a good range and it's a convenient location, being central CBD, but it is very very pricey. Wouldn't recommend it unless you're in a bind, but for hardware needs in the middle of the city there aren't too many other options. And the staff is great, so they get an extra star on that alone.

This is an excellent store, with awesome, friendly staff extraordinaire who are just helpful above and beyond. Amy comes immediately to mind for the always happy, with a smile service! I never ever go to any other hardware store. Why would I?! Why would you?!

Cosy hardware store in the CBD. Looks very fresh and reorganised. Staff were more than eager to approach and offer assistance. Good range of products, store has a lower level which I discovered by accident. Prices were average. Conveniently located.

I don't normally write reviews but today is my first time to do some hardware shopping at Mitre as my power plate on the wall was broken. Maria and Adrian were so helpful and friendly!! especially Maria! definitely would come again!! 10/10 service!

Extremely convenient location, surprised at the wide range as the store looks small from the outside. It's very clean and tidy, not too hard to find things, the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend!

I go shopping at "Sunlite Mitre 10 - Pitt Street" from time to time, today I went again and got I wanted, the staff is always very friendly and helpful, price is also competitive , very pleased to shop from them. William

Helpful staff, within moments of walking into the store, a staff member approached me and directed me to the correct isle. A bit on the pricey side but not by much. Would recommend for quick shopping visits

Some grumpy, impatient staff. Given its constrained location, there isn't a huge range of stuff so I wasn't able to find everything I needed (some I found in Big W, some I had to go to a Bunnings for)

Excellent hardware store, which is well stocked. considering it's in the centre of the CBD. Very handy for CBD workers who don't have the time to get to Bunnings. Staff were also very attentive
