WARNING. Based on my experience, avoid TaxiBox and go for a regular storage facility. It will be cheaper for a bigger storage space, closer to home. The taxi boxes are small so you end up needing more than you think. I rented 3 initially but ended up needing 4 boxes at an agreed rate at point of sale of $99 including GST per month for each box. I am getting emails now saying the original rate was $149 and they will do me a favor by only charging me $129 per month even though their storage is now further away. I signed on with them because they were in Brunswick, but they are now in Reservoir. When I mentioned this, the response was 'we are a growing business and we needed more space'. No acknowledgement of the impact of the move on customers who chose local. I have lodged a consumer affairs complaint and withdrawn my storage from this week based on the interactions I had

I've used Taxibox for many years now whenever I need to store my belongings. The concept is so clever, and takes away a lot of the stress of moving at an affordable price. But above all, the customer service is the best I've experienced from any company (EVER!). A big shout out to Sarah who recently spoke with me on the phone many times to sort out an issue I was having with council regarding a parking permit - she was so understanding and helpful. And then to the drivers Jarrod and Ben who dropped off and picked up my Taxibox. Ben contacted me after reading my post on a community Facebook group to organise an earlier pick up, as I was concerned about the parking restrictions. He went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out perfectly and I'm so grateful for his efforts. Such friendly and amazing people - cannot recommend their services highly enough!

We ordered a taxibox and were told over the phone what time we wanted it scheduled. We agreed on the scheduled time but we received a phone call today saying that they accidentally double booked. We were required to move out of our home before then and none of the other times suited us and it made us really frustrating that such a simple error could cause us to choose another company. How do you book another person's time over us and tell us there's 10 people waiting in the queue for next week? Isn't that what your business is all about, being able to fit people into timeslots? Disappointed is an understatement.

Wonderful service from Taxibox. We had to store our furnitures during house renovation and and the on site storage option was exactly what we needed. After making a booking, all details were reconfirmed in another phone call, then the box got delivered on time and placed right where we wanted. The sturdy box stayed at our place, was secured and we could add or take things as needed. Once the reno was done, another phone call to book a pick up, which again happened on time. All went smoothly, the communication was great, good price, we’re glad we found Taxibox and highly recommend

Okay, so using the term 'Interstate' is an exaggeration. Taxi-box go to 3 States Only! I believe Australia has 6 x States and 2 x Territories so essentially that is x 8! It also took Me several attempts to contact this business , despite Me going through their processes it was Me that ended up calling them to find out WA is not a place Taxi-box service. May I suggest that you Edit your Website/Google pages to say this: "We Only Service Victoria, Queensland & NSW. Surely with all that time dedicated to 'testimonials' from customers surely this simple Edit will not take make time.

I got a quote for $1500 to move from Melbourne to Gold coast looked at the student discount offered on their website rang up to book now they are trying to charge me $2600 because they have to bring an empty box to Melbourne and are saying it's my fault and should cover the extra $1000 because they don't have taxi boxes in Melbourne, I thought this was a reputable company but speaking to 2 different people on the phone both are clueless don't go with a taxi box they like to take your money there are many other companies that can help you out

Having to store my possessions for over 6 months, I found the team at Taxi Box very easy to deal with. They were on time for both pick up and delivery, even giving me a courtesy call when they were 5 minutes away! Accessing my belongings when in storage was also very easy, all I had to do was nominate a time and my taxi box was waiting at the warehouse for me to access. I would highly recommend Taxi Box for anyone moving or in need of external storage.

Genuinely a great experience from start to finish. The guys are open and honest in terms of realistic expectations of when to deliver taxiboxes and work with you to achieve something that works for you. I put items in storage for 6 months, found it easy to pack, and also easy to arrange delivery as well. Fees were reasonable and staff were always courteous and able to answer all my questions. Will definitely use and recommend to others in future.

Taxibox is an awesome completely worry free service. Stored an apartments worth of stuff intended for 2 months but ended up to be 3 years, delivered back yesterday, all just as we packed it, friendly helpful driver, came at the time they said and made sure the box access was right beside the gate. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone!

We used TAXIBOX to move some items from Brisbane to Melbourne and the whole process went like clockwork. TAXIBOX staff were friendly and helpful, and our goods arrived intact and on time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that TAXIBOX don't offer delivery to regional cities, so we had to hire removalists to empty the box and deliver to Ballarat.

Starting from the first quote in Sydney, the pickup in Sydney and the transportation of two taxi boxes to storage facilities in Melbourne, that lasted for three months, then final delivery and pickup the service was extremely efficient, fabulous experience with drivers from both ends. I can’t praise the whole system enough. Thanks again

My experience was very good. They were able to provide storage boxes in a short time and worked with me to make changes to my forever changing needs. One tip for anyone using them would be to make sure you stock your boxes as compact as possible, a tip for TaxiBox would be to provide some hooks and ropes to help secure items.

I highly recommend Taxibox for goods storage. The prices are fair, the service is attentive, and the little touches like the Super Mario Bros hold music just put a smile on your face. This was such a fantastic service - they easily found a park in a busy inner-west street, allowed me to pack my stuff and then shipped it off. On the other side, they had to navigate a windy back alley, and was easily able to accommodate my directions. The cheapest and most efficient interstate option i've ever used.

The service is brilliant and every person I dealt with - on the phone, the drivers, at storage centre - they were all really helpful and made the experience a total pleasure. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is that it's a bit pricey though, to be fair, I couldn't find anything much cheaper

We stored our belongings in 2 separate batches in 3 different TaxiBoxes over 2 different time-periods. Service at every step of the way was top-notch all of our goods in storage emerged as we packed them. We will definitely use TaxiBox again. An innovative idea, well executed. Thank you!

I had been using the company for quite some time with no issues, till I wanted to relocate my box. I had found I needed more storage so arranged for another box to be delivered.

The delivery driver was excellent and put my box where I needed it. My taxibox is extremely heavy and he put in the grass, which will make unloading it much easier.
