This is the best burrito I have ever eaten, it's the Texas Fried Burrito. Even the rice as a side dish is bursting with flavor. Most places you go, the rice is bland but not here! It tastes fantastic! Every single bite is 100% joy. The servers and management did an excellent job at maintaining and taking care of us. The manager even came by 3 or 4 times to check on us and make sure we had the best experience we could possibly have! The chip dip was the best I've ever tasted, but if you like spicy they also have a spicy dip you can request that is also amazing. The mix drinks we have not had yet, but we will definitely be returning to try everything in this place. The mixers look delicious, I can't wait to come back soon for them. TL;DR: solid 4 star. Food was delicious, service was quick, and price (at least for lunch). I was on my way to Costco in West Nashville when I decided to grab some lunch too. Tequila's popped up in a quick search so I decided to hit it up. It's located in a strip mall, so nothing fancy It was just me, so I decided to sit outside, but there were an okay number of people here for noonish on a random Friday. To start off, they brought me chips and salsa with some water, and I got a 32 oz beer for under $7 (which is super cheap for someone who just moved here from Chicago). The salsa was honestly delicious, with ust the right mixture of sweet and spicy, the chips tasted fresh and crunchy, and the dos equis was cold enough for a warm, sunny day. I stuck with the lunch menu (30 or so options, most under $10) and got the #27 chicken quesadilla. It came out with a decent sized quesadilla, brimming with well seasoned chicken, onions, peppers, and melted cheese and a side of rice and beans. As someone who grew up on Tex Mex, I can truthfully say it was delicious. Plus, everything ended up being less than $16 before tip. Can't ask for more than that.

Went here with my daughters and wife on my last visit to Nashville. The restaurant was a nice size and typical look and feel for most Mexican restaurants. The wait staff appeared to be very busy but unfortunately appeared to be understaffed. It took a good while before our waitress came to our table to take our order. She was friendly and courteous and did apologize for the wait. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were well flavorful and delicious. The rest of my family ordered other dishes and they were very happy with what they ordered. The salsa that came out with the chips prior to the food was also flavorful and had a nice kick but not too spicy. I did think the chips tasted a little old and not that fresh. These chips were a little thicker than the ones I usually see served at most Mexican restaurants and that may have contributed to what May have been perceived as a little less than fresh tasting. At the end, the food was fantastic and will definitely go back when I’m back in Nashville and in the mood for some great Mexican cuisine.

I have ate at this restaurant 3 times and will not eat there again. I am a person who loves a good chips and salsa, cheese dip, and something basic off the menu, enchiladas. Specifically, enchiladas the way that are most delicious should have a nice corn wrap and queso cheese and a red enchilada sauce over the top. First time I went there, fell in love with my enchiladas, thought they were the best in town. Second time I went there, enchiladas looked like they came from a different restaurant. Most of all, they were not edible. Luckily our server got them taken off the bill but I’m sure he thought I was crazy, he even convinced me that maybe I was. Last time, I ordered a combo meal with an enchilada and taco, because I was willing to give it one last chance since I loved the enchiladas the first time. To my surprise, the enchilada was just like the first time but the taco was nasty. The meat was not hot and the shell was stale. The inconsistency of this restaurant does not warrant return customers. I will not be back.

The food was sooo good , Luther offered us exponential service , always greets us with a smile . He remembered me and my mother in law and even asked about my daughter and told us make sure to bring her next time . Highly recommend!!

I really, really hate to write this because we used to love this place. We would come at least twice a week. We had issues several months ago and the server argued with us. We didn’t return for several months and decided to finally return. Tonight, we ordered guacamole cassero and it literally had 3 pieces of avocado in it. We asked about it and the server argued with us again. We just asked to cancel our food and paid for our margs and walked out. You lost our twice a week business over some avocado. Not to mention the prices have skyrocketed. It was $40 for 2 margaronas and mine was about an inch from being filled up. We will NEVER return. We gave you guys a second chance and you blew it. It’s so sad but your prices have gone up, quantity down, and the new management and service is just awful. We miss our old place.

After recently being very upset with an experience with another restaurant, I was in need of some great food and good service. This wasn't my first time eating at Tequila's, however, I go back for good reason. Their food is always amazing and reasonably priced. Their salsa has just enough bite to it, and is thicker than most restaurants I've eaten at. I ordered more food than any one person should eat in one sitting, perhaps more than even two people should eat, lol. But every bit of it was delicious and I would eat it again, and again. It's a very quiet atmosphere and hasn't been over-crowded any of the times I have been there. Service was good and friendly. If you're looking for outstanding mexican food, and a good place to enjoy it, look no further.

I have to update my review from years ago. I didn't come here for a long time because frankly, there was nothing particularly outstanding about the place. On a whim, i decided to try it again and I was pleasantly surprised at the updated menu. It seems to me that they have seriously stepped up their game and I thoroughly enjoyed the dish i tried (Enchiladas la Bamba). The prices are slightly more than the surrounding area, but it's still worth trying. At the current time of writing, I have yet to see a picture of the updated menu on Google and missed the opportunity to post them myself.

As a Uber Eats and Door dash delivery driver I would like to inform all customers who use my services that this restaurant does not care about their customers. I waited over 30 minutes for a customers order. I decided to approach the manager of the establishment to inform him of the long wait time and how it can negatively effect OUR customers not just mine but theirs as well. The manager of the establish told me quote " I do not Care, I do not work for them and neither do you ". This was shocking to me, to have come from manager of what appears to be a nice establishment. That being said I feel it is important to let all uber and regular custers alike know how this restaurant feels about their customers from the managers perspective.

Great fast service and pleasant staff, the usual Mex dining arrangement of interior (relaxing), and low prices with great tasting food. About four months ago, had some chorizo that was the best in the state. The eggs were still yellow and mixed just right, but unusually small crumbles instead of solid large chunks. Today, had steak fajitas. Awesome flavor and added with the usual ingredients burst forth a tremendous taste. The steak was in larger strips than usual (about five inches long as opposed to the normal two) and would sometimes be hanging out of the small tortillas (4X). The chips are the best in the area, and their salsa dip is spicy and not with a weak flavor. Added an extra cheese dip which was just as good.

Yesterday I worked 10 hours in the sun. All I wanted was a steak. Went there, ordered the T-bone steak, wich is btw the most expensive thing on the menu. Asked for rare, when it came out it was beyond well done. When they re made it, it was given to me Bleu. And I mean bleu. It was ice cold in the middle. I was cool about it, but I really did not appreciate the management trying to argue with me about the doneness of my steak. Took me having to pull up a picture of a steak doneness chart on my phone, and literally holding up the cut of meat next to my phone for the guy to say, ok your right that is raw. Great for generic Mexican food. Just stay waya from anything g on the menu that requires the chef to care.

Went here on a Friday for a date. The server was inattentive and very busy with a large party which we were sat next to. Never checked back after the food came out, just dropped off the check. Which took about an hour for tacos and a quesadilla. The food was delicious when it came out but that might have been the hunger talking. Will likely be back on a slower night. 3/5 stars seem fair

Our waiter, Luther, worked hard to make sure we received good service. Tequila's is a good local restaurant bar with good drinks, a large selection of tacos, quesidillas, enchiladas, etc, and a never-ending basket of chips & salsa. The rib-eye taco salad was delicious - the steak was tender and cooked just right. Absolutely no complaints with the queso or the size of the burritos. Perfect local eatery for good Mexican food & a Margarita night out.

Great authentic mexican food in the neighborhood. Fresh chips and salsa were provided to us as soon as we got our table. If you like spicy food, Please ask for the hot sauce dip for the chips they are simply amazing. We got the cactus chicken fajitas with a seafood platter and a street taco with carnitas . All of the entrees come with rice beans and lettuce. All were super delicious. We also got the lime margarita pitcher which was simply refreshing and delicious. Highly recommended place if you are in and around Costco and are starving for some good mexican food

Our group usually goes here to eat after service but we always have a time getting someone the understands English and then today they were busy and we waited 20 mins to get the check which we never did get. We tried to pay for it at the counter and one man kept yelling at us to wait and saying our check was in a pile of other checks which it wasn't and he wouldn't let us explain we never got ours. Then he began telling us he didn't care. We will not be back again. If a business doesn't appreciate our business then we will go to a restaurant that does. Maybe they will understand this... I have only ordered delivery from the restaurant so I can't speak on the service/atmosphere etc, but I ordered chips & Salsa and some queso. Chips were pretty good, standard, salsa was nice consistency but just a bit too spicy for me. The queso was a little warm but manageable with a drink and very tasty. Be mindful of the possible heat level of the food when trying new places but never hold it against the restaurant for your food intolerance.

Service was horrible when trying to order food, the waitress could not speak any English so the communication barrier was a struggle. We had to talk to the manager multiple times to fix our order. After that when we went to pay they tried to charge all six of the group for beverages that only one was drinking. After talking to the manager he said we all had to pay because that’s what the waitress believed we told her.even though she could not understand what we were trying to order. I always enjoy myself a good bowl of chips and salsa, and Tequila's got them packed with delicious Mexican flavors! I came here with my partner for lunch, and the staff quickly got us a booth, took our orders timely, and brought our food just about when we were done eating the chips. If you're looking for a restaurant with solid service, which is quite rare in Nashville, and quality food, Tequila's is a great place to stop by and grab a quick bite with your friends and family. I would've given 5 stars, had I not been to authentic Mexican cuisines in Florida.

30. Everything about this restaurant was great. The staff and greeter was very nice and friendly. They worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. We were visiting Nashville and this place was able to accommodate our larger party on a Saturday evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but when we got our drinks, we were very excited. I've never had margaritas like this. Taste and presentation was perfect. The manager is so extremely rude and told me he doesn't even care about his customers! I couldn't believe what he was saying to me when he said it! I would never eat here! I was ready to try this restaurant as I have never eaten here but I left and will never go back. That man shouldn't be working in a customer service job ever and should definitely never be a manager! I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaraunt. I had mistakenly read the menu and ordered an item that i normally wouldn't eat, I didn't realize it and i asked the waiter if i can exchange it for something else and he said yea, I told him ill pay the difference if its too much of hassle and he assured me that it wasn't, mistakes happen and ill be happy to fix it for you. I was super delighted and excited that he did that for me. They are always super friendly and they call me Friend it makes you feel like family.

I don't know if this place is under new management or what. No consistency. They've changed how they serve their steak fajitas. They give you these SLABS of meet with EXCESSIVE dry rub all over them. The past 4 orders have all been something different. It used to be manageable strips of steak like you normally see without crazy amounts of seasoning. Smaller bags of chips and only one salsa with 2 full meals on to-go orders now. Sad to see, as I've been going to this spot since they opened. Lost a loyal customer.

I went here for lunch today. I asked for a wildberry margarita. The picture on the menu the drink is dark purple. The waiter brings me a drink and it was red. So I say this is not what I ordered. The waiter gets upset grabs the drink and menu says he's not giving me what I asked for and walks off. I go find the manager and explain to him what happened and he tells me it doesn't matter what's on the menu he's not fixme another drink. This is poor customer service and I will not be back

I always wonder if the restaurant owners are actually writing these reviews but this is the first one I've written to see if actually works... This place is very good. It is a total hole-in-the-wall that my wife and I did not expect to be any good but we decided to try it out anyway. The service is fine, ambiance is fine, but really, the food is good and the prices reasonable. Worth checking out. I made an online order. When we arrived to pickup the order, I was advised that their system was down and they didn't get the order. We asked them to cancel the order with their vendor. They refused and told me that I had to contact them. I checked my credit card account and it was charged. I had to take my time to get my money back. It is sad that they refuse to fix their problem and leave a customer to resolve their issues.

We have a large family and we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and made sure that our drinks were always full. Our food came out promptly and was yummy! We are from out of town and tried the restaurant based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! If we were local we would definitely come back again...and again...and again!!! The prices are in line with typical authentic non-chain Mexican restaurants, so I am not sure why it is reflecting a $$$ price point.

I want to share my Experience that I had at this restaurant I have been there many a times never had this happen before They brought me the ticket and it was $37.64 then checked my bank and it was $46.18 I asked to speak to the manager he said it was my bank. My bank does not charge me to use my money. So I would highly recommend you to watch your ticket and bank or pay in cash. I also will never be back to this establishment I don’t do business with dishonest people.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever been to. We ordered the chicken, shrimp, steak fajita, chicken tamales, cheese steak burrito and the chicken fajita burrito. All were excellent. I could tell the meats were quality seasoned so I'd guess any dish would be great since the meat is the foundation of the plate. Even the chips and salsa were incredible! We knew from the first chip bite we were in for a treat. Great service etc etc etc. Would highly recommend.

This is my favorite go to for Mexican. The food is always fabulous. I’ve been eating there for at least 12 years. I’ve only been to the original at Annex and Charlotte. I’ve never had an issue with staff or food- ever. I love the Mexican cokes and soft drinks - and now they have some serious desserts- lemon cheesecake and the best flan. Next time I’ll try the other cheesecakes and the Tiramisu, oh and the German chocolate cake and the strawberry cake

Good food but ordered Uber eats and they didn’t put in tortilla shells and all he could say is sorry but I have no ride and I got ranchero with chicken, steak, shrimp the whole meal is based around tortillas. I don’t think I will order again it has me frustrated. I paid for a meal I didn’t get it now have no way to eat it. I hate bad customer service this is bad. From now on I’ll stay with the ridge BBQ where I don’t have to worry about it

First, I can't wait to come back to this restaurant!!! My family and I stopped in for a late lunch and everything was fantastic. From the team service to the portion sizes and prices! Prices were totally fair, even maybe cheap for the portion sizes. I had a deluxe quesadilla that came with mushrooms, onions, avocado...it was superb! Our glasses never sat empty for more than 30 seconds, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming!

I love this place. I come here once a week. The menu is huge and every item I have had on the menu has been amazing. They have great margs. They do pitchers, Monsters, Jumbos and regular size. The Guacamole Cesaro is fabulous, Burritos and chicken dishes. Everything is amazing. I recommend if you are wanting great Mexican to come here. The staff is super friendly and amazing. Absolutely fabulous customer service and spectacular food. Oversized burritos that could feed three, and the tamales covered with cheese sauce and steak was absolutely fabulous. The only problem we ran into was deciding what to eat, the menu was so full of wonderful meals we just couldn't make up our minds. We live over 2 hours away but we definitely will be back, it is certainly worth the trip.

The food was absolutely fantastic. It was fresh and cooled really well. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. He joked around with us too even when I was trying my best to practice my Spanish. Tequila's Mexican Restaurant was very busy. After having eaten there, now I can see why. The service was good, even though my waitress indicated that it was only her second day. The menu items were reasonably priced. Everything was prepared exactly how I ordered it, and it was I credibly delicious. Portions were very large. Imagine that, another great Mexican Restaurant.

Ordered food, they informed me that the driver had stolen my food and it was “not tequilas problem.” if I’m exchanging money with your business and you fail to deliver on what is purchased that is definitely your problem. 0 attempts to resolve a long time customers dissatisfaction. 0 attempt to take responsibility. No offer of a refund. I caution anyone about this place.

The only good thing about this restaurant was the prices. But the food was not very good. The chips were tasteless, the salsa was 'eh' but my husband liked the queso. I ordered the Hawaiian fajitas and it came with very little pineapple. Our server was kind but came up to us a lot and offered us to go boxes three minutes after we got our food which was off putting

I have NEVER experienced such friendly staff in a restaurant before. I felt like I was at Disney! Everyone was super friendly, and the food was pretty good. I don’t live in the area, but I’ll definitely be planning special trips to this side of town for a serotonin boost and cheese dip.

The food in this Mexican style restaurant is Great. I been there numerous time and have never been let down. However the waiters on my last visit were rude. I find myself watch how people act, I saw some of them making fun of some of the customers (even me when they thought i wasnt looking). Which didn't sit right with me. Other than that the food is great...

If I would have gotten what I ordered it probably would have been fine. Picked up my "order" a fajita salad. When I got back to work I looked and I had a burrito and fajito sides. No fajita salad. I called and the guy argued with me saying he knew it was in there. Seriously have been a customer for years. Will not go back. This isn't corrupt Mexico... Dick!

Absolutely amazing! I had the Enchiladas La Bamba with steak and it was delicious! My sweetheart had the Fajitas Hawaiian and somehow nearly finished all of it and together, we usually don't finish an order of fajitas. This food was the best food I've had anywhere in a long time! Do yourself a favor and stop by and try them out! You won't be disappointed!

I had the shrimp chimichanga and the shrimp was over cooked and Bland. Shrimp had no seasoning on it whatsoever. I don’t even like refried beans but out of everything on my plate they had the most flavor. I went here mainly because Qdoba was out of everything. I should have went to Qdoba and had cheap and tasty nachos but alas Am here writing this review.

Wow. The food is bad and the items aren’t even correct. The “kids” hamburger is chopped up hamburger with sour cream and fries all mashed together and the churros are chocolate which isn’t stated. Don’t order through doordash cause you WONT receive a refund. Had to contact customer support and still lost out on about $20 cause of this restaurant.

I mostly order through UE but have been there. The place is very nice but the food it's literally best quantity and quality fir your money. You can feed two people under 30$ including reasonable tip. I highly recommend the texacana fajitas if you like steak chicken and shrimp.

I ordered the $16 - $17 steak (t-bone) with rice and guacamole. It was of very, very low quality, and over cooked. Very poor service. For the same price, I could of had delicious steak fajitas at Chuy's. For $5 more, I could've had Carne Asada at Uncle Julio's (even more delicious). I was very disappointed. That was my last visit.

I gave it a 3 because Customer Service was not that great! We have visited the location on Charlotte Pike 6+ times and over half of the times it came down to, no tip due to poor service ! The food is so good. Go to eat, listen to the live music during the week and enjoy your company, but expect to ask for what you want …

Horrible place to eat !! My daughter had 2 hairs on her plate. They had just switch the plate out . My fajitas tastes so old didn’t sizzle at all ... my so didn’t want his chicken it was too spicy and it looked like they had wash the wig sauce off and recooked it. I will never go back !!! The Bellevue location way better.

Fast friendly service with amazing grilled fish tacos. The mango salsa is fantastic! And it's served with black beans and rice, which is always my absolute favorite comforting combination.

Quality, has remade food to please particular individuals, festive/fun, feels like on vacation, last night had light jazz , huge delivery out the door business with food arriving in perfect form and temperature, family place with quaint outdoor seating, easy to mix match a la carte, not too overstimulating to kids!

The service is beyond friendly. One of the servers made a mistake and he immediately apologized and notify the manager. The manager came to our table within minutes and apologized and offered us free shots. The food is delicious and so are the cocktails. I will be coming back here for sure.

I ordered a #19 and got a #9 instead. I could have requested the waiter to take it but I did not. The roasted pepper wasn't bad for the first time eating one; just wasn't what I ordered. This is only the 2nd time it's happened since the restaurant been opened. Not bad; just be sure they repeat your order.

The salsa and cheese dip were really good. My burrito had a little too much cumin on the beef but that's forgivable. My fiance loved his pollo ranchero, it was moist and had a good flavour to it. Wait staff and host were very kind and made the experience enjoyable. Would definitely go to again.

Waitress or staff couldn't speak 0 English and it was hard to figure out what she was saying and they messed up my order due to the staff/waitress not speaking ANY English but i should has expected that bc its a Mexican restaurant. xD The food was good but that was the only annoying thing.

I've been here a number of times and cannot stress how this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Nashville. Their food is always fresh and hot, the servers are super friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the fajitas and the special dinner combo. Absolutely delicious!

Uber eats order. Fajitas texanas was a very small order. The steak smelled like it was a dead cow bought for cheap and then butchered. The beef was definitely ruined. The meal was horrible all around that I poured it out for the opossums.

Great service and Margaritas. The atmosphere was quite nice and we maintained. We didn't get to try the food since we were only there for drinks, but seeing menu items on other tables really made me want to come back later to eat. Hope to try that soon.

SO GOOD! First time here for a delivery order of Rancho Favorita and it was so good we went back the next day for to go! Hubby got the Burrito Sabanerro and said it was the best burrito he’s ever had! Best Mexican in the West Nashville area …

They let people smoke on the enclosed tiny patio. I find that pretty gross. It's not a bar. It's a family restaurant. Even with covid going on people were too close together if they don't want to be around someone smoking while eating their food.

Food was tasty and perfect. Great seasoning, flavor, was good! The margarita was with the perfect flavor and "en su punto". I tried horchatas but their horchatas are delicious! I definitely recommend you to go and eat at the restaurant. …

Thought I'd try this location for delivery since the Bellevue one constantly forgets items. Well, this one is no better. Missed all 3 drinks and the appetizers. And they won't answer their phone. Terrible service for such average food.

I ordered the beef chimichanga from here through UberEats. It is disgusting. It is literally dry ground beef with not even seasoning wrapped in tortilla. This is the farthest thing from a chimichanga and I highly regret ordering it.

I didn't get what I ordered but what they brought was yummy so I didn't return it. It's a regular visit by the folks I went with and always get great food.

Been going here since 2013 when I lived in west Nashville, will now drive 30 min+ to go and eat there, they have new decor and what I like to think as some pretty authentic Mexican food. Service is great and so are the Margaritas

This place was excellent! The service was noticeably good and professional. The food was refreshing, hot, quick, and had more value for the price than Cinco or Las Palmas down the street. This will be our crews new go-to.
